Vaccine efficacy: Junk science at it's worst

Global Research - The two pillars upon which the entire edifice of vaccinology rest are that vaccines are safe and effective. We are told by our medical and federal authorities, physicians, pharmacists and health care practitioners that vaccines work by stimulating the body's immune system to create specific antibodies. These antibodies in turn will protect us from the infectious disease specific to a given vaccine.

This central premise is virtually never challenged. Hundreds of millions of Americans simply accept that all vaccines are scientifically proven to confer immunity against disease. In a previous article, Uncovering the Cover-Up: Scientific Analysis of the Vaccine-Autism Connection, Deeply Flawed US Vaccine Policies, we examined the myths about vaccine safety and presented the actual science demonstrating vaccines' toxic ingredients and adverse neurological effects. This report investigates the medical industry's claims that vaccines are effective. Moreover, the independent research presented for each major vaccine raises serious questions that challenge the concept of antibody generation as a reliable factor to assure viral and bacterial immunity.

Measuring Vaccine Efficacy: Junk Science at its Worst

Every flu season, millions of Americans visit their physician's office or local pharmacy to receive a flu shot. Recipients are given one of a handful of influenza vaccines on the market. The same vaccine will be injected into a 14 pound infant, teenage athletes weighing 200 pounds, and frail, immunocompromised elderly patients. Regardless of age, weight, medical history, previous compromised immune system and any other health factor, they are all given the same exact chemical cocktail. Furthermore, we are told to accept that this one-size-fits-all approach will predictably result in the production of a number of protective antibodies that will ward off a flu infection.

Once the flu season concludes, vaccinated persons who made it through the season without contracting a diagnosed flu infection are categorized by our health officials as having been successfully immunized. And these statistics then stand as living proof of the vaccine's efficacy. Meanwhile, very little if any attention is paid to the numerous other factors that have been shown to influence immunity, including, quality of diet, additional nutrient profile, vitamin D, A and C status, exercise, stress management, exposure to environmental toxins, sleep patterns and biochemical and genetic makeup.

A person who chooses to be vaccinated and follows a healthy lifestyle by eating a balanced wholesome diet, minimizing environmental toxins, engaging in regular exercise and practicing de-stress techniques is far less likely to fall sick. It is therefore impossible and completely unscientific to make any absolute claims that vaccines are the sole protective cause for not contracting an infectious illness. On the other hand, an unvaccinated individual who eats the standard American diet, suffers from multiple nutrient deficiencies, and leads a sedentary, high-stress lifestyle, has a higher risk of developing a significantly compromised immune system condition. If such a person comes down with an illness, how can it be blamed on the absence of a vaccine and not the unhealthy lifestyle?

When assessing the impact of vaccines, removing the body's many other biomolecular principles and functions from the equation is completely unscientific, The claim that a vaccine can prevent disease without looking at many other critical health factors in a person's life is contrary to a scientific gold standard for assessing health and illness. It is no different than if a person took vitamin C and subsequently didn't come down with a cold, that it was exclusively the vitamin C intake that deserves all the credit also being unscientific.

There is very strong evidence suggesting that all clinical trials carried out by vaccine manufacturers fall short of demonstrating vaccine efficacy accurately. And when they are shown to be efficacious, it is frequently in the short term and offer only partial protection. According to an article in the peer-reviewed The Journal of Infectious Diseases, the only way to evaluate vaccines is to scrutinize the epidemiological data obtained from real-life conditions. In other words, researchers simply cannot — or will not — adequately test a vaccine's effectiveness and immunogenicity prior to its release onto an unsuspecting public. ⁽¹⁾

Based upon our research a study has yet to be undertaken that evaluates the long-term progress of both fully vaccinated and unvaccinated children of comparable biochemistries, ages, and lifestyles. Since immunity hinges on more than vaccination status, it stands to reason that the only way to make a fair determination about the effectiveness of the current vaccine schedule would be to carry out such an analysis using gold standard scientific methodology and protocol. Why has this never been done? To understand this unanswered question we must look back at vaccinology's history and the scientific evidence that would implicate our national vaccine campaign as a dangerous and deceptive experiment upon the public.

The Polio Vaccine Nightmare

Almost everyone now believes that vaccines were responsible for the eradication of certain major epidemics in the US and around the world. However, this belief is largely propaganda overcoming fact. The story of Jonas Salk's polio vaccine is an example of how some vaccines not only fail to save lives but actually infect the patients with the very disease they are supposed to protect against.

The polio vaccine is recognized as the fastest approved drug in FDA history. In 1955, it only took two hours of review before its approval, licensure to be quickly released to the public. Owing to the fact that no significant research could ever have been carried out on the vaccine in such a short span of time, the vaccine was quickly administered without proper federal review. Known as the Cutter Incident, after the vaccine's manufacturer Cutter Laboratories, within days of vaccination, 40,000 children became infected with polio, 200 with severe paralysis and ten deaths. Shortly thereafter the vaccine was quickly withdrawn from circulation and abandoned. ⁽²⁾

The CDC's website still promulgates a blatant untruth that the Salk vaccine was a miracle in public health policy. To the contrary, officials at the National Institutes of Health were convinced that the vaccine was contributing to a rise in polio and paralysis cases in the 1950s. In 1957 Edward McBean documented in his book The Poisoned Needle that government officials stated the vaccine was "worthless as a preventive and dangerous to take." ⁽³⁾

Some US states, such as Idaho where several people died after receiving the Salk vaccine, wanted to hold the vaccine makers legally liable. Dr. Salk himself testified in 1976 that his live virus vaccine, which continued to be distributed in the US until 2000, was the "principal if not sole cause" of all polio cases in the US since 1961. However, after much lobbying and political leveraging, the pharmaceutical industry pressured the US Public Health Service to proclaim the vaccine safe. ⁽⁴⁾

Although this occurred in the 1950s, this same private industry game plan to coerce and through the use of lobbyists, consultants, current and former government employees, to influence government health agencies to do their bidding. Today, US authorities proudly claim the US is polio-free. Medical authorities and the advocates of mass vaccination rely upon the polio vaccine as an example of a vaccine that eradicated a virus and as proof of the unfounded "herd immune theory". Dr. Suzanne Humphries, a board certified nephrologist who has spent more than 10,000 hours researching the safety and efficacy of vaccines has documented thoroughly that polio's disappearance was actually a game of smoke and mirrors. In her research, she has shown how the alleged eradication of polio coincided with the rise of "new" and strikingly similar ailments which have been classified as variations of a condition known as Acute Flaccid Paralysis. ⁽⁵⁾ Thanks to Dr. Humphries detailed study of the data, it's not difficult to connect the dots and see that the reported decline in cases of polio over the years has more to do with calling the disease by different names rather than eradicating it.

Another layer of treachery in the history of the polio vaccine is the story of Dr. Maurice Hilleman, a pioneer in the field of vaccine research at Merck in the 1950s who developed over 40 vaccines, including 5 of the 14 immunizations routinely given to children and adults today. He is considered the father of American vaccinology. In a candid interview, Dr. Hilleman explained that monkey DNA was used in some of the vaccines he developed, and it was impossible to screen out all the viruses carried by the monkeys. He discovered that the new Sabin polio vaccine contained Simian Virus 40 (SV40), a DNA virus shown to be carcinogenic. During vaccine trials in hamsters, SV40 was shown to cause tumors. Hilleman said, "we knew it was in our seed stock from making vaccines...it was good science at the time because that was what you did. You didn't worry about these wild viruses." ⁽⁶⁾ The precise number of Americans exposed to vaccines contaminated with SV40 remains unknown, but estimates are as high as 100 million. As of 2001, Neil Miller, a vaccine research journalist, counted 62 peer-reviewed studies confirming the presence of SV40 in a variety of human tissues and different carcinomas. ⁽⁷⁾

The Decline of Epidemic Diseases: Getting to the Truth

What has contributed historically to the decline of scourges like smallpox, polio, tetanus, measles, and diphtheria? Although many attribute the decreased incidence of these diseases to the introduction of vaccines, a look at the epidemiological data indicates that many, if not most, infectious diseases started declining noticeably prior to the introduction of their vaccines due to significant improvements in the way we live. Sanitation, proper sewage disposal, clean water, improved nutrition, indoor plumbing, less-crowded living conditions, elimination of child labor and better hygiene were the real reasons that infectious rates waned. For example, polio declined in the US in the 1920s from 7,229 cases in 1921 to 3,826 cases in 1951. By the time the vaccine became widespread in 1961, the number of cases was already down to 1,076. ⁽⁸⁾

There is no scientifically sound evidence that mass inoculation can be credited with eliminating any infectious disease. Furthermore, if vaccination is responsible for the disappearance of these diseases in the US, why did they simultaneously disappear in Europe prior to mass vaccinations?

The following graphs show that large drops in disease death rates occurred long before vaccines were introduced. From 1900 to 1963, when the measles vaccine was introduced, death rates from measles had declined from 13.3 per 100,000 to 0.2 per 100,000 - a 98% decrease. From 1900 to 1949, death rates from whooping cough declined from 12.2 per 100,000 to 0.5 per 100,000 - a 96% decrease. From 1900 to 1949, death rates from diphtheria declined from 40.3 per 100,000 to 0.4 per 100,000 - a 99% decrease. These graphs demonstrate clear and major changes in the severity of diseases well before any vaccines were introduced. ⁽⁹⁾

The data suggest that public health interventions, such measures as improved hygiene, infected being being isolated are more effective and less expensive interventions to contain epidemics of respiratory viruses, with estimates of effect ranging from 55% to 91%. ⁽¹⁰⁾Although strong evidence supports good hygiene as a central factor of disease prevention, the press rarely recommends measures people can adopt to best protect themselves against viral or bacterial disease, aside from vaccination.

Deconstructing the Science of Antibodies

The manufacturing methodology in vaccine development involves taking a disease agent and rendering it gradually weaker so that the body's own immune response is triggered and antibodies are generated (referred to as humoral immunity). However, the body's immune system is far greater than that targeted by a vaccine. In addition to humoral immunity, there is also cell-mediated immunity. Cell-mediated immunity activates macrophages, natural killer cells, antigen-specific cytotoxic T-lymphocytes, and the release of various cytokines in response to a viral antigen.

Current vaccine science lacks a way to stimulate the entire immune response instead of just a portion of it. Normal exposure to disease-causing agents always begins in the nasal, ear, throat, and respiratory passages - less so through injection. Once primary immunity has been established by infection, the antibody response follows. This allows the immune system to grow stronger and to bestow natural and permanent immunity to an ever-increasing number of pathogens. Vaccines injected into the body bypass cell-mediated immunity and overstimulate humoral immunity. This confuses normal immune response maturation and skews the functioning of the immune system. Humoral immunity becomes dominant and the crucial cell-mediated immunity is suppressed: the result can be autoimmune disease and frequent infections.

According to RM Zinkernagel at the University Hospital of Zurich Institute of Experimental Immunology: "We have not succeeded in generating truly protective vaccines against persisting infections because we cannot imitate 'infection immunity' that is long-lasting, generating protective T- and B-cell stimulation against variable infections without causing disease by either immunopathology or tolerance." ⁽¹¹⁾

The weak correlation between antibody count and immunity is not a new discovery. Walene James, author of Immunizations: The Reality Beyond the Myth, explains that increased antibody production may not be the most important aspect of the immune process:

Vaccines isolate antibody function, and allow it to substitute for the entire immune response. Scientific evidence questioning the role of antibodies in disease protection can be found in research performed by Dr. Alec Burton, published in a study by the British Medical Council in May 1950. The study investigates the relationship between the incidence of diphtheria and the presence of antibodies. Since diphtheria was epidemic at, or just prior to, the time of the study, the researchers had a large number of cases to investigate. The purpose of the research was to determine the existence or nonexistence of antibodies in people who developed diphtheria and in those who did not. It looked at patients and people who were in close proximity to patients, such as physicians, nurses in hospitals, family, and friends. The conclusion was that there was no relation whatsoever between antibody count and incidence of disease. The researchers found people who were highly resistant with extremely low antibody counts, and people who developed the disease who had high antibody counts. Dr. Burton also discovered that children born with a-gamma globulinemia (an inability to produce antibodies) develop and recover from measles and other infectious or contagious disease almost as spontaneously as other children. (12)

One of the foremost issues surrounding vaccine-induced immunity is that infants are biologically incapable of producing antibodies, other than immature IgM antibodies, until 6-12 months of age. The antibodies the infant acquires, such as immunoglobulins, are passed down from mother to child through breastmilk. Nevertheless, the current CDC schedule calls for more than a dozen injections during the first six months of life. If the immunological function of a fully grown adult is disrupted so significantly by vaccines, what sort of harm can we expect these same vaccines to inflict upon the delicate physiology of an infant?***

Next we will examine some of the most compelling examples of vaccine failure among the most widely-used vaccines in America today.

Influenza

The Cochrane Collaboration, the foremost group of unbiased researchers in the world, has done a series of meta-analyses on the effectiveness of the influenza vaccine with similar results. In 2014 they found that vaccinating adults against influenza did not affect the number of people hospitalized nor decrease lost work. ⁽¹³⁾Cochrane researchers stated that their results might be overly optimistic due to the fact that 24 out of 90 studies were funded by the vaccine manufacturers, which tend to produce results favorable to their product. ⁽¹⁴⁾

According to Dr. Tom Jefferson of the Cochrane Collaboration, it makes little sense to keep vaccinating against seasonal influenza based on the evidence. ⁽¹⁵⁾ Jefferson has also endorsed more cost-effective and scientifically-proven means of minimizing the transmission of flu, including regular hand washing and wearing masks.

Dr. Jefferson's conclusions are backed by a 2013 piece written by Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine scientist Peter Doshi, PhD, published in the British Journal of Medicine. In his article Doshi questions the flu vaccine paradigm stating:

Closer examination of influenza vaccine policies shows that although proponents employ the rhetoric of science, the studies underlying the policy are often of low quality, and do not substantiate officials' claims. The vaccine might be less beneficial and less safe than has been claimed, and the threat of influenza appears overstated.⁽¹⁶⁾

The CDC currently recommends that elderly Americans receive a flu shot, stating that "[v]accination is especially important for people 65 years and older because they are at high risk for complications from flu." ⁽¹⁷⁾ Unfortunately, this serious warning flies in the face of a significant body of research showing that receiving the flu shot does not reduce mortality among seniors. ⁽¹⁸⁾ One particularly compelling 2005 study was carried out by scientists at the federal National Institutes of Health (NIH) and published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). Not only did the study indicate that the flu vaccine did nothing to prevent deaths from influenza among seniors, but that flu mortality rates in fact increased as a greater percentage of seniors received the shot. ⁽¹⁹⁾

After the release of the study, investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson covered the findings in a CBS News segment. Attkisson revealed that she hoped to interview the study's lead author at NIH but was stonewalled by the agency. She eventually spoke to the only co-author of the study who was not affiliated with NIH, Dr. Tom Reichert, who stated that the research team revisited the data several times, but that no matter how they analyzed the "incendiary material", the conclusion was clear: flu shots don't improve mortality rates in the elderly population. ⁽²⁰⁾

Another important consideration in this discussion is that there are approximately 200 distinct viruses that constitute influenza and influenza-like illnesses. These organisms don't magically appear during fall and winter - they are always with us. Nevertheless we are more susceptible to flu-like infections during the colder months when there are less daylight hours. Studies suggest that the origin of the so-called flu season may actually be the reduced amount of sunlight in the winter months, with the result that we become deprived of Vitamin D. ^(21,22)

Gardasil

The history of the Gardasil vaccine illustrates clearly the concerning lack of oversight on the part of our federal health authorities when it comes to testing vaccines for efficacy. Before receiving FDA approval, the popular HPV vaccine Gardasil was tested on fewer than 1200 girls. ⁽²³⁾ A major flaw in Merck's clinical trials was the number of girls enrolled in the trials who elected to take the prescribed three vaccine doses. Only 27% of all the girls tested were actually administered the complete three-vaccine series. ⁽²⁴⁾ Another remarkable misstep in the trials was that no girls under age 15 participated, despite the fact that the vast majority girls given the vaccine today are under 15 years old. ⁽²⁵⁾ Nevertheless, the vaccine was approved by the FDA in 2006. In 2014, approximately 60% of all American girls and 42% of American boys aged 13-17 received at least one HPV shot. ⁽²⁶⁾

The remarkably unscientific methodology employed during Garadsil's pre- and post- licensure trials was reviewed in a 2012 analysis by scientists at the University of British Columbia and published in the journal Current Pharmaceutical Design. The research team didn't mince words in their assessment of the trials:

We carried out a systematic review of HPV vaccine pre- and post-licensure trials to assess the evidence of their effectiveness and safety. We found that HPV vaccine clinical trials design, and data interpretation of both efficacy and safety outcomes, were largely inadequate.

Additionally, we note evidence of selective reporting of results from clinical trials (i.e., exclusion of vaccine efficacy figures related to study subgroups in which efficacy might be lower or even negative from peer-reviewed publications).

Given this, the widespread optimism regarding HPV vaccines long-term benefits appears to rest on a number of unproven assumptions (or such which are at odds with factual evidence) and significant misinterpretation of available data. ⁽²⁷⁾

More doubts about the FDA approval of Gardasil have come from an unlikely source, Dr. Diane Harper, a consultant for Merck and a chief scientist overseeing the licensure trials to evaluate Gardasil's safety and efficacy. After receiving FDA approval, Dr. Harper publicly questioned Gardasil's efficacy and public health value. Among her concerns is that no data show that Gardasil remains effective after 5 years. A truly effective HPV vaccine, on the other hand, would need to be efficacious for 15 years in order to prevent cervical cancer. In addition, she estimated that every American 11 year old girl would have to be vaccinated for the next 60 years in order to have any measurable effect on rates of cervical cancer.^(28,29)

Gardasil's efficacy in protecting against HPV infection has also been criticized due to the fact that it originally only targeted four of the more than one hundred HPV strains in circulation. In 2014, the FDA approved Gardasil 9, which supposedly protects against nine strains. Scientists from the University of Texas presented research at the 2015 meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research revealing that vaccinated women were significantly at a higher risk to become infected with strains HPV not contained in the vaccine when compared to unvaccinated women. ⁽³⁰⁾ This disturbing revelation is just the most recent piece of evidence demonstrating Gardasil's dubious effectiveness and potentially hazardous impact on human biochemistry.

Another study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) in 2007 demonstrates the ineffective nature of Gardasil in women with HPV. The authors concluded that Gardasil offers no benefit to women recovering from HPV during a 12-month period.⁽³¹⁾ The research team stated that they "see no reason to believe that there is therapeutic benefit of the vaccine elsewhere because the biological effect of vaccination among already infected women is not expected to vary by population." ⁽³²⁾

Given the high rate of recovery for people with HPV infections, the widespread use of the vaccine is highly suspect. Even the National Cancer Institute has stated that "[m]ost high-risk HPV infections occur without any symptoms, go away within 1 to 2 years, and do not cause cancer." ⁽³³⁾ In fact, 90% of all cases of HPV disappear within 2 years. Cervical cancer is highly curable when detected early.

It's important to note that advances in medicine and the regular use of pap smears have helped decrease the incidence of cervical cancer in the United States by over 50% since the 1970s. ⁽³⁴⁾ Examining health data from Finland and the UK , Dr. Harper and her colleagues concluded that HPV vaccinations give a false sense of security to many young women and girls who in turn opt out of regular pap smear tests. According to Dr. Harper, this trend has resulted in exponential increases in recent HPV rates. ⁽³⁵⁾

Even more alarming, Gardasil has gained notoriety as one of the most dangerous vaccines for it serious life-threatening adverse effects. As of October 2015, the federal program known as Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) has received over 41,000 cases of adverse reactions from the HPV vaccine, including 234 deaths. ⁽³⁶⁾

Whooping Cough (Pertussis)

The vaccine for pertussis, better known a whooping cough, is packaged together with Diptheria, and Tetanus (DtaP) and given according to a robust vaccine schedule of 5 injections by age six. It is the most administered vaccine in the childhood vaccination schedule: at 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 15-18 months, and 4-6 years. ⁽³⁷⁾

Despite regular administration of booster shots, scientific evidence now suggests the vaccine does not effectively confer immunity against pertussis. As one recent study published in Clinical Infectious Diseasesput it, "pertussis is currently the least well-controlled vaccine-preventable disease despite excellent vaccination coverage and 6 vaccine doses recommended between 2 months of age and adolescence." ⁽³⁸⁾

The ineffective nature of the pertussis vaccine was brought into sharp focus in 2010 when California witnessed a dramatic rise in whooping cough cases, over 9,100 people cases, many of them children. A study assessing the vaccine's efficacy discovered that an extraordinarily high 80% of all children who contracted the illness were fully vaccinated. ⁽³⁹⁾

One explanation for the pertussis vaccines remarkable lack of efficacy can be found in a 2010 study undertaken at Penn State's Center for Infectious Disease Dynamics. The team found that the whooping cough vaccine promotes the colonization of Bordetella parapertussis, pertussis' causal bacterial agent. Based on their findings, the researchers posited that the whooping cough vaccine itself may be contributing to the marked resurgence of whooping cough cases compared to the previous decade. ⁽⁴⁰⁾

Further evidence casting doubt on the whooping cough vaccine's usefulness was presented at a 2013 meeting of the CDC's Board of Scientific Counselors, Office of Infectious Diseases. During the meeting, CDC officials pointed out that the widespread use of the DtaP vaccine has given rise to more virulent pertussis strains. What is novel about these new emerging strains is that they lack pertactin (PRN), the antigen current pertussis vaccines target. The meeting's participants noted that "vaccinated patients had significantly higher odds than unvaccinated patients of being infected with PRN- deficient strains."⁽⁴¹⁾ Another recent study surveyed the incidence of whooping cough in eight states. The survey found that fully vaccinated children were two to four times more likely to contract an PRN-deficient strain than the unvaccinated population. ⁽⁴²⁾

A further reason for the pertussis vaccine's failure to control communal infection is because vaccinated children may become asymptomatic carriers of the pathogen. There is strong evidence that vaccinated populations may be infected with the whooping cough but not present symptoms. ⁽⁴³⁾ The serious downside to this is that asymptomatic carriers can transmit the disease to unvaccinated individuals, especially infants who run the highest risk of suffering complications from pertussis. It also lends credence to new research implicating vaccinated older siblings, not parents, as the primary source of infection for whooping cough among infants. This research runs counter to the entire notion of herd immunity, which states that older populations must be immunized in order to protect infants who are not old enough to receive the vaccine. ⁽⁴⁴⁾

Measles

The efficacy of the measles vaccine has also come under serious scrutiny in recent years. In, 2014 Dr. Gregory Poland, Editor in Chief of the journal Vaccine and founder of the Mayo Clinic's Vaccine Research Group, published an alarming statement that the measles vaccine has a poor efficacy record. Despite the high 95% measles vaccination compliance among children entering kindergarten, and the CDC's propaganda that the MMR vaccine has defeated the virus, measles outbreaks continue to increase. During the first half of 2014, there were 16 large measles outbreaks in the US. Dr. Poland does not believe this is due to unvaccinated individuals, but because of the vaccine's failure to confer immunity. ⁽⁴⁵⁾

During the first six months of 2011, there were 118 cases of measles reported to the CDC from 23 states and New York City. There were no fatalities. Among the 118 cases, 105 were both "import-associated" and unvaccinated. Of the 87 U.S. residents who came down with measles, 74 were unvaccinated: 39 under age 20, and 35 age 20 and older. ⁽⁴⁶⁾

The CDC focused heavily on the unvaccinated measles victims while giving no time to the analysis of those vaccinated individuals who also became ill. In fact, 13 of the group (17.5%) had received the MMR vaccine but got measles anyway. While the CDC uses these incidents of disease outbreak to stress the need for vigilant adherence to the vaccine schedule, the real take home message here is that 17.5% of a group of vaccinated individuals got sick despite the vaccine. One thing, however, is certain: all of the unvaccinated people who came down with measles now have a lifelong immunity against measles. For those who became infected despite having been vaccinated, we just don't know. Could the vaccine prevent these people from developing the normal lifetime immunity? No research has been undertaken to prove this point.

Likewise, a 1985 measles outbreak in a Texas community found that the 14 students out of 1806 who contracted measles were all vaccinated - no exceptions, and no reports of exposure from a foreign endemic area for any of the students.⁽⁴⁷⁾

Chicken pox (Varicella)

The Chicken Pox vaccine is yet another example of a failed vaccine. The present vaccine was licensed in 1995. Following its release, an estimated 25 percent of children were still spreading the varicella virus or getting ill themselves. Anne Gershon, a chicken pox expert and director of pediatric infectious disease at Columbia University Medical Center, says, "We really need boosters of vaccines much more than we thought we ever would." ⁽⁴⁸⁾

This begs the question: how many boosters would be enough? Our vaccines do not confer lifelong immunity. Therefore to compensate for vaccines' limitation and steady decline in providing immunity, more and more boosters are required. Consequently, in 2006, the CDC recommended that a second chicken pox shot be added to the childhood vaccination schedule. Gershon says it "looks like" a second shot will keep children from getting sick. ⁽⁴⁹⁾

Research into the efficacy of the varicella inoculation, however, has increased skepticism about the vaccine. In 2005, South Korea mandated the chickenpox vaccine to all children under 15 months. Regardless of the country's 97% compliance—well, above herd immunity's claims to eradicate infectious disease—chickenpox infections have not declined. Rather, between 2006 and 2011, there has been a three-fold increase in chickenpox cases. ⁽⁵⁰⁾ American research has also yielded proof of a significantly higher rate of vaccine failure despite its widespread administration. ⁽⁵¹⁾

Mumps

Mumps infections is another virus frequently found in vaccinated populations. In 2006 the US experienced the largest nationwide mumps epidemic in 20 years, primarily infecting students on college campuses. Authorities have attempted to blame these outbreaks on crowded dormitory conditions, instead of considering the obvious: the vaccine simply isn't effective for very long.

In 2009-2010 New York and New Jersey witnessed over 1500 mumps cases among highly vaccinated groups: 88% of infected children had received at least one vaccine and 75% had received the recommended two doses. According to Dr. Jane Zucker, NYC Assistant Commissioner of Immunization, "We know that approximately one in every 20 people who are vaccinated may not develop antibodies." A Reuters reporter went even further, stating, "The mumps virus can mutate, so people who have had only one or even two doses of vaccine remain vulnerable." ⁽⁵²⁾ How can a vaccine with such negligible immunity not only be recommended but required for school attendance?

Calling for Science-Based Vaccinology

It is certainly reasonable and responsible to suggest that if a vaccine were proven to be safe and effective by a gold standard of science, it would be an important health service for every child and adult. However, at this moment no such assurance can be made based upon quality science. At the very least we should require unbiased, independent, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies of every vaccine, both individually and collectively with no input from vaccine manufacturers or their colleagues, associates or consultants. To ensure a healthier future, it is crucial that we stand up today and demand a new paradigm of vaccinology based on independent, science-based medicine.

Study: Unvaccinated Children Healthier Than Vaccinated Kids – Doctors Agree

Sarah Carrasco never thought twice about vaccines. She and her husband, who married while still in college, were delighted with their brown-haired brown-eyed baby. At the one-year check-up David already knew most of the alphabet and could say five words: “Mom,” “Dad,” “Brober,” (the happy couple was talking about having another baby), “Hi,” and “Bye.”

Sarah remembers the pediatrician predicting her son would be a genius.

But after David had the one-year round of shots, he spiked a 103 fever, arched his back as if in pain, passed mucous-filled green diarrhea, and could not stop crying.

Baby David was so sick that Sarah brought him back to the pediatrician two days later and several times after that. As documented in his voluminous medical file, her son was having eight to ten bouts of diarrhea a day and lost his ability to speak.

A week after the vaccine visit, he also stopped making eye contact.

The doctor reassured Sarah there was nothing to worry about.

Sarah is 38 years old and lives in Lakewood, Colorado. But her story is eerily familiar. She is one of thousands—if not hundreds of thousands—of American parents who report that they followed their doctor’s orders, got every vaccine on the current CDC childhood schedule, and watched their children suffer from brain and immune damage.

Medical Doctors, Not Just Parents, Report Vaccine Damage in Children

Kelly Sutton, M.D., an integrative physician based in Fair Oaks, California who has been practicing medicine for 45 years, says that she sees patients who have been vaccine-injured every day.

“It’s not a rational thing to think that we can just give an ever-increasing number of vaccines without causing damage,” Sutton explains. “There’s a tipping point for many people in terms of the toxins that they can handle.”

Study: Unvaccinated Children have Less Chronic Disease and a Lower Risk of Autism than Vaccinated Children

A new peer-reviewed study comparing health outcomes of vaccinated and unvaccinated children, provisionally published in the journal Frontiers in Public Health and assigned a DOI number (a digital object identifier given by publishers to identify content and provide a persistent link on the internet), confirmed what parents like Sarah Carrasco have observed: that completely unvaccinated children have less chronic disease and a lower risk of autism than vaccinated children.

The researchers collected health information on over 660 children from a survey conducted in 2012 of mothers of children between six and twelve years old in four states (Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Oregon). According to the abstract, the team of four scientists found that completely unvaccinated children were significantly more likely to get chickenpox and whooping cough but significantly less likely to suffer from ear infections, pneumonia, allergies, and brain or central nervous system disorders, including autism.

Vaccinated children were more than twice as likely to have some chronic illness.

Vaccinated children were nearly four times as likely to have learning disabilities, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and autism spectrum disorder.

Vaccinated children who were born prematurely were more than six times more likely to have brain or central nervous system disorders, including autism.

Doctors See Link Between Vaccines and Autism Rates

“We all need to be looking at improving the safety of vaccines,” says Bose Ravenel, M.D., whose practice is based in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Ravenel, 78, admits that in his long career practicing medicine he used to dismiss the idea vaccines are connected to autism or other health problems in children. But now, after attending autism conferences, researching the peer-reviewed scientific literature, and paying more attention to parents’ experiences, he has changed his mind.

“There is clearly a relationship between vaccines and autism,” Ravenel says. “But to say that ‘vaccines cause autism’ is an inaccurate, non-nuanced statement. At the same time, to say that ‘vaccines don’t cause autism’ is also inaccurate. In certain conditions, like with mitochondrial dysfunction, vaccines certainly can cause autism or contribute to it.”

Ravenel insists that any doctor who does the research, instead of just heedlessly following the recommendations of his professional medical organizations, will come to the same conclusion.

“Any physician who would be willing to look at both sides openly and study it seriously would conclude that the idea that vaccines have been proven not to cause autism is not accurate,” Ravenel says.

Parents With Vaccinated and Unvaccinated Children Notice That Their Unvaccinated Children are Healthier

Unaware that her son’s growing health problems might be related to vaccines, Sarah Carrasco continued to vaccinate, though family members begged her not to.

“I thought I was protecting him,” Sarah explains.

At David’s two-year check-up she mentioned to the doctor that her mother thought it might be safer to delay some vaccines. The doctor became enraged.

“You’re not a doctor, your mother’s not a doctor, you shouldn’t question me,” Sarah remembers him shouting.

David became extremely violent and self-injurious—banging his head against the wall until he bled, hitting himself. At three he was diagnosed with Sensory Integration Disorder and the doctors told her they suspected psychosis. At four and a half, he was diagnosed with autism.

By then Carrasco had another baby, Aidan, who was also being vaccinated, though on a delayed schedule (a different doctor told her it was fine to delay some vaccines as long as he was caught up by the time he went to school).

So Aidan had the vaccine against measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) at age two, instead of between 12 and 15 months, which is the current CDC recommendation. Immediately afterwards he spiked a fever of 105 and started high-pitched screaming.

“After that, my mom’s like, ‘Are you done now? Are you going to stop doing this to my grandchildren?’” Sarah remembers.

Aidan has since been diagnosed with ADHD and soft teeth, which her dentist told her can be caused by very high fever in early childhood.

So when Sarah’s third son was born almost four years ago, she refused vaccines.

Brooks is a talkative, active, imaginative preschooler who adores his older brothers, loves to play outside, and draws colorful stick figures of The Joker and Harley Quinn. The difference between his health and his older brothers’ is startling.

“It’s the opposite of the older two,” Sarah says. “They always had a sinus infection or an ear infection or a rash—something was always wrong. With this one, he’s been sick twice in his life, I think. Developmentally he’s killing it. He’s in the 95th percentile for everything.”

That doesn’t surprise Kelly Sutton, the doctor based in Fair Oaks, California.

“I hear stories almost every day of families that vaccinate children and then decide not to vaccinate and the unvaccinated children within the same family are healthier, more socially adjusted and more capable academically,” Sutton says.

Allison Rogers, a 29-year-old mom of four in Austin, Texas, has two vaccinated and two unvaccinated children. Allison will never forget the drive to the pediatrician’s office when her oldest was 18 months old.

“I was playing music and singing and I would say, ‘Hudson, shake!’ and he would dance and giggle. That’s the last time I remember him being him,” she says sadly.

After the immunizations, Hudson slept for six and a half hours and could not be roused. Both Hudson and his brother Adler, born 19 months later and also vaccinated, are on the autism spectrum.

Today Hudson is seven years old, disengaged, and non-verbal.

“He isn’t who he was supposed to be. And I know that was because of vaccines. I know that vaccination singlehandedly tipped him over into autism,” Allison says.

Like Sarah, when Allison became pregnant for the third time, she decided not to do any vaccines. Her completely unvaccinated four year old, Graham, and her unvaccinated 15-month old, Beckett, are both in excellent health and neurotypical. Allison is sure that it is not a coincidence.

Vaccine Safety Censorship

Are parents like Sarah Carrasco and Allison Rogers “irresponsible,” “selfish,” and “crazy,” as the mainstream media proclaims? Are the hundreds of medical doctors and other health care practitioners now voicing concerns over the current CDC vaccine schedule and delaying vaccines for their own families “quacks” who should lose their medical licenses?

Stanford graduate J.B. Handley, a successful entrepreneur who has a child affected by autism, says no.

“There is no parent on the planet fighting for vaccine safety who doesn’t want to protect their children from deadly diseases,” claims Handley, co-founder of Generation Rescue, a non-profit that supports families affected by autism. “But the current vaccine program is an overreach. We absolutely need a reset.”

Neuroscientist Rene Anand, Ph.D., is a professor in the Department of Chemistry and Pharmacology at Ohio State University’s medical school who is researching how the environment and genes interact to increase susceptibility to brain disorders. Anand—who is quick to credit vaccines with saving millions of lives and to point out he is pro-vaccine—insists it is not scientifically accurate to disregard the possibility that vaccines may be triggering autism in genetically susceptible children.

Given the fact that so many parents report witnessing a decline in their children’s immune systems and cognitive functioning directly following vaccination, the possible connection, Anand says, must be thoroughly investigated.

Tommy Redwood, M.D., an emergency room doctor based in Atlanta, Georgia who has been practicing medicine for 26 years, suspects over-vaccination is playing a causal role in poor health outcomes among today’s children. Instead of trying to force vaccine compliance among vaccine-hesitant families, Redwood believes the medical community needs to appropriately and reasonably address parents’ concerns.

“A lot of physicians just want to dismiss the concerns parents have,”

Redwood says, adding that he thinks ignoring parents’ observations is a mistake, and that the most responsible medical doctors always listen carefully to their patients.

“If you don’t ask the right questions, you can’t find the right answers,” Redwood continues. “If you summarily dismiss the possibility that the increasing rates of childhood illnesses, including ADD, autism, asthma and other auto-immune disorders are connected to vaccines, you can’t figure out if our children’s health problems are vaccine-related injuries. The people at CDC who should be helping set policy on vaccine safety—I don’t think they are asking the right questions.”

Like Redwood, children’s health advocates, vaccine safety activists, and medical professionals have been calling for a well-designed publicly funded large-scale study comparing completely unvaccinated children with fully vaccinated children for years.

So far the government has refused.

Even when well-designed small-scale privately funded studies are conducted, you may never read them.

The study I cited earlier passed the rigorous peer-review process and had been accepted for publication. But just a few days after the abstract was posted on-line, it was pulled by the journal’s editor without explanation.

Financial conflicts of interest were found in 40 percent of published research articles on the genetically modified crops, also known as GMO crops, French researchers said this week.

AFP - The findings in the December 15 edition of the US journal PLOS ONE focused on hundreds of research articles published in international scientific journals.

“We found that ties between researchers and the GM crop industry were common, with 40 percent of the articles considered displaying conflicts of interest,” said the study.

Researchers also found that studies that had a conflict of interest were far more likely to be favorable to GM crop companies than studies that were free of financial interference.

The study focused on articles about the efficacy and durability of crops that are modified to be pest resistant with a toxin called Bacillus thuringiensis.

Thomas Guillemaud, director of research at France’s National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA), told AFP that the team originally looked at 672 studies before narrowing down to the pool to 579 that showed clearly whether there was or was not a financial conflict of interest.

“Of this total, 404 were American studies and 83 were Chinese,” he said.

To determine whether there was a conflict, researchers examined the way the studies were financed.

Conflicts of interest were defined as studies in which at least one author declared an affiliation to one of the biotech or seed companies, or received funding or payment from them.

“The most important point was how we also showed there is a statistical link between the presence of conflicts of interest and a study that comes to a favorable conclusion for GMO crops,” Guillemaud said.

“When studies had a conflict of interest, this raised the likelihood 49 percent that their conclusions would be favorable to GMO crops.”

Among the 350 articles without conflicts of interest, 36 percent were favorable to GM crop companies.

Among the 229 studies with a conflict of interest, 54 percent were favorable to GM companies.

“We thought we would find conflicts of interest, but we did not think we would find so many,” Guillemaud said.

SOYLENT PUKE: Silicon Valley financed “future food” that made people violently vomit, loaded with MSG, GMOs

Instead of focusing on stopping the overuse of animal antibiotics, or the mistreatment of animals squeezed into filthy conditions and piles of fecal matter in an animal feeding operation (CAFO), the Silicon Valley technocrats would rather have you not eat meat at all. It’s just too carbon intensive and not good for the environment, they say. So they’re raising and investing hundreds of millions of dollars to rethink food, according to the Financial Times. The money is on creating something that tastes like meat, alternative proteins without meat or putting a new tech twist on meat as food.

One Los Angeles start up – The Soylent Company – claims their food is “intelligently designed, while offering affordable, complete nutrition.” FT.com describes it as “tasteless goop.” Soylent had some difficulties at first. Their bars and their powders were taken off the market after two months when consumers had episodes of “violent vomiting” after consumption. Testing found no toxins, pathogens or outside contaminations, but an ingredient derived from algae could have turned people’s stomach. But perhaps it was more than that. When you read the Soylent.com website, they are quite proud to use GMOs in all their concoctions. The defining ingredient in Soylent’s product line is GMO soy. Glyphosate for lunch, anyone?

Ambronite is another tech foodie company offering a “drinkable superfood” to be used for meal replacements. There haven’t been any incidents of turned stomachs, like their competitor Soylent. Perhaps that’s because Ambronite is organic and Non-GMO. Financial Times points out that Ambronite raised $600,000 when starting up, compared to Soylent’s $20 million.

Impossible Foods is the moniker of the tech food startup that has a vision to make plants taste like meat. After five years and many reformulations, the companies plant based burgers are finally being offered in upscale restaurants. Founder Pat Brown believes that the cows are a “mature technology,” and, unlike cows, Impossible Foods has the advantage of being able to improve “every aspect of [meatless meat.]”

San Francisco based Memphis Meats uses another technology for meat making. This tech foodie business grows their meat in a lab, “cultivating them from real animal cells.” Memphis Meats call themselves cell farmers, seeking cells that have the capacity to reproduce, and then using those for breeding. Eventually, says Uma Valeti, the co-founder and current Memphis Meat chief executive, “[I hope] to remove animals from the equation altogether.”

Insys Therapeutics, the company who makes insane profits from a drug behind one of the worst overdose epidemics in the nation’s history, fentanyl, is in hot water — again.

According to Reuters, six former Insys Therapeutics Inc executives and managers were arrested on Thursday on charges that they engaged in a nationwide scheme to bribe doctors to prescribe a drug containing the opioid fentanyl, U.S. prosecutors said.

Along with the executives, Michael Baich, the former CEO, was also charged in an indictment filed in federal court in Boston this week.

They have all been brought up on charges of racketeering for their scheme.

“Patient safety is paramount, and prescriptions for these highly addictive drugs, especially fentanyl, which is among the most potent and addictive opioids, should be prescribed without the influence of corporate money,” Carmen M. Ortiz, the United States attorney in Massachusetts, said in a statement. “I hope that today’s charges send a clear message that we will continue to attack the opioid epidemic from all angles, whether it is corporate greed or street-level dealing.”

What makes this information so damning and hypocritical is that in September, the Free Thought Project helped to expose Insys Therapeutics for paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep marijuana, a plant that has never killed anyone, illegal.

That’s right, in a glaring display of hypocrisy, the maker of the drug Subsys, a sublingual fentanyl spray, claims that marijuana is dangerous because it could hurt children. At least that was their public reasoning for shoving $500,000 towards a campaign opposing marijuana legalization in the US.

These people not only advocated that pot is dangerous, but they were bribing doctors to prescribe a drug responsible for one of the most deadly epidemics in the history of the United States — for entirely unnecessary reasons.

About 129 people died each day nationwide in 2014 from a drug overdose and more than half of those were opioid, heroin, or fentanyl related, according to the DEA.

Insys has every reason in the world to despise legal weed as multiple studies now show that it is a great alternative for pain relief versus the highly addictive and deadly opioids.

According to a study that looked at 17 states with medical cannabis laws in place, researchers “found that the use of prescription drugs for which marijuana could serve as a clinical alternative fell significantly, once a medical marijuana law was implemented.”

Prescriptions fell dramatically for opioid painkillers, with 1,826 fewer doses being prescribed per year by the typical physician in a medical cannabis state. Amazingly, the trend also applied to prescriptions for depression, seizure, nausea and anxiety.

Insys has other reasons to fear this beneficial plant as well — because they are making a synthetic version of it.

According to a September report by the Intercept, Insys is currently developing a product called the Dronabinol Oral Solution, a drug that uses a synthetic version of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) to alleviate chemotherapy-caused nausea and vomiting. In an early filing related to the dronabinol drug, assessing market concerns and competition, Insys filed a disclosure statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission stating plainly that legal marijuana is a direct threat to their product line:

Legalization of marijuana or non-synthetic cannabinoids in the United States could significantly limit the commercial success of any dronabinol product candidate. … If marijuana or non-synthetic cannabinoids were legalized in the United States, the market for dronabinol product sales would likely be significantly reduced and our ability to generate revenue and our business prospects would be materially adversely affected.

It is apparent that the people at Insys are willing to go to extreme and unscrupulous lengths to maintain their market share — up to and including buying off doctors and politicians, as well as pushing a highly dangerous drug on people who may not need it.

Unappetizing assessment of the U.S. food supply: 85% of the food has pesticide residues

New government data offers a potentially unappetizing assessment of the U.S. food supply: Residues of many types of bug-killing pesticides, fungicides and weed-killing chemicals have been found in roughly 85 percent of thousands of foods tested.

Data recently released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture shows varying levels of pesticide residues in everything from mushrooms to potatoes and grapes to green beans. One sample of strawberries contained residues of 20 pesticides, according to the Pesticide Data Program report issued this month by the USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service. The report is the 25th annual such compilation of residue data for the agency, and covered sampling the USDA did in 2015.

Notably, the agency said only 15 percent of the 10,187 samples tested were free from any detectable pesticide residues. That's a marked difference from 2014, when the USDA found that more than 41 percent of samples were "clean" or showed no detectable pesticide residues. Prior years also showed roughly 40-50 percent of samples as free of detectable residues, according to USDA data. The USDA said it is not "statistically valid" to compare one year to others, however, because the mix of food sampled changes each year. Still the data shows that 2015 was similar to the years prior in that fresh and processed fruits and vegetables made up the bulk of the foods tested.

Though it might sound distasteful, the pesticide residues are nothing for people to worry about, according to the USDA. The agency said "residues found in agricultural products sampled are at levels that do not pose risk to consumers' health and are safe."

But some scientists say there is little to no data to back up that claim, stating that regulators do not have sufficient comprehensive research regarding how consumption of residues of multiple types of pesticides impact human health over the long term, and government assurances of safety are simply false.

Massive Oil Spill ‘The Size of Seven Football Fields” Found In North Dakota

The spill is one of the largest in North Dakota history.

A farmer in North Dakota discovered one of the largest crude oil spills ever recorded in the state just “bubbling up out of the ground” while harvesting wheat a few months ago.

Farmer Steve Jensen stated that he smelled the crude oil a few days before his combines were covered in it. The oil was “spewing and bubbling six inches high,” he said in an interview with CBS News. The Tesoro Corp’s underground pipeline spilled 20,600 barrels of oil under the farmland. It was four times the size of a pipeline that burst in March of 2013 that forced the evacuation of more than 20 homes in Arkansas.

Luckily for the general population of North Dakota, however, the pipeline is in a remote corner in the northwest The nearest home is half a mile away, and there have been no water contamination reports. No animals or people have been injured in the spill.

Tesoro Logistics released a statement that the affected portion of the pipeline has been shut down.

“Protection and care of the environment are fundamental to our core values, and we deeply regret any impact to the landowner,” Tesoro CEO Greg Goff said in a statement. “We will continue to work tirelessly to fully remediate the release area.”

The company estimates it will cost about $4 million for clean up, and that “it is completely contained and under control” due to a natural layer of clay that is 40 feet thick underneath the oil spill site that has kept it from contaminating the water.

Eric Haugstad, Tesoro’s Director of Contingency Planning and Emergency Response has said there was a quarter-inch thick hole in the 20-year-old steel pipeline, which runs 35 miles from Tioga to a railroad facility near the Canadian border. The company is investigating possible causes.

Wayde Schafer, a North Dakota spokesman for The Sierra Club, said the spill is an example of the lack of oversight in a state that has exploded with oil development in recent years.

“We need more inspectors and more transparency,” Schafer said. “Not only is the public not informed, but agencies don’t appear to be aware of what’s going on and that’s not good.”

Unfortunately for the farmer, his field will be unable to be used now for multiple years.

Yet Another Toxic Herbicide Has Just Been Approved by the EPA for Widespread Use

Arkansas — The United States Environmental Protection Agency just ignored a legal requirement to examine any threat to endangered species by approving another toxic herbicide this last week. Dicamba will now follow the trajectory of toxic chemical herbicides and pesticides which came before, such as glyphosate, and atrazine, forcing our most fragile creatures to the precipice of their demise.

Dicamba is not a new herbicide — it has been around for years. Brand names for formulations of this herbicide include Banvel, Diablo, Oracle, and Vanquish. A selective herbicide in the chlorophenoxy family of chemicals, dicamba can be found in nearly 1,100 items sold in the U.S. as agricultural and gardening products; however, the EPA’s latest decision allows the herbicide to be sprayed directly on genetically modified corn and soy, meaning it will likely be used across 1 million to 25 million pounds of just these two agricultural crops annually.

Many suggest that if dicamba herbicide-resistant corn and soybeans were not approved, farmers would be relegated to using older, more dangerous versions; but there is no sound basis in this argument considering all of these chemicals should be removed from our environment, regardless of their specific means of damaging human health and the ecosystem.

Moreover, dicamba is part of Monsanto’s two-point plan: replace glyphosate (the main ingredient in the company’s best-selling RoundUp weed killer), as it increasingly comes under fire, and create public acceptance of the GM crops engineered to withstand dicamba.

Monsanto’s own conservative estimates predict that dicamba use on soybeans will likely rise from around 233,000 pounds per year to 20.5 million pounds per year — and dicamba use on cotton could go from 364,000 pounds per year to 5.2 million pounds per year.

There are numerous scientific studies which suggest that the coming onslaught of dicamba could be significantly troubling for creatures both large and small. The lady beetle, Coleomegilla maculate, is an important beneficial insect in cropland that is commonly used as an indicator species in safety evaluations of herbicides; and lady beetles were recently decimated in crops that were sprayed with dicamba.

In another study, adult agricultural workers were found to have a significant increase in risk for Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and lung cancer, when exposed to dicamba.

Dicamba, along with other harmful herbicides, have also been known to damage cells. If those cells are reproductive in nature, lowered sperm count, infertility, a higher risk of miscarriage, and birth defects can ensue. There are numerous studies that have proven dicamba and other chlorophenoxy chemicals contribute to lowered fertility and altered hormones in both animals and humans.

Nathan Donley, a scientist with the Center for Biological Diversity, states,

“Once again the EPA is allowing for staggering increases in pesticide use that will undoubtedly harm our nation’s most imperiled plants and animals. Iconic species like endangered whooping cranes are known to visit soybean fields, and now they’d be exposed to this toxic herbicide at levels they’ve never seen before.”

With the many health risks clearly outlined for dicamba, the EPA’s decision to allow mass-spraying on thousands of acres of cropland in the US is doubly dubious, since the Midwest just experienced massive pesticide drift which contaminated nearby crops and caused immense damage to both genetically modified and non-GMO crops alike. Dicamba was formulated to reduce drift, but this clearly has not been the case for many farmers in the U.S.

In one case, dicamba drift was the cause of an alleged murder of one farmer by another. Allegedly, a farmer on the Missouri-Arkansas border applied dicamba without a permit and caused significant damage to a neighboring farmer’s soy crop. An argument bubbled over, which led the shooting death of one farmer, and the arrest of the other.

And it isn’t just farmers who are being murdered over dicamba use.

The EPA’s own analysis also indicates that some threatened and endangered species — including birds and mammals — may be harmed by the massive increase in herbicide use. Sadly, the agency has not yet complied with its obligation to consider impacts to these species under the Endangered Species Act. Dicamba gets a green light, but how many creatures must be harmed before our government agencies stop giving pesticides a free pass?

Canada is home to the highest rate of inflammatory bowel diseases in the world, especially in children

Canada can claim bragging rights in many areas, from its stunning lakes and its winter sports to its maple syrup. Unfortunately, one distinction isn’t quite so pleasant: the country tops the world when it comes to the national rate of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs). While the typical age this illness strikes people is 20, young children and even babies are now developing this disorder in droves.

These diseases can cause a lot of pain, and many of them cannot be cured. IBDs like ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease lead to digestive tract inflammation, which can cause bloody stool, weight loss, abdominal pains and chronic diarrhea. Sufferers often experience alternating periods of flare-ups and symptom-free spells. IBD can adversely affect the body’s ability to absorb various nutrients, putting patients in danger of malnutrition.

A recent study that analyzed data taken throughout Canada uncovered an increase of 7.2 percent per year of IBD among children aged five and younger in the period between 1999 and 2010.

The researchers point to a number of factors that could be behind this sobering statistic. While genetics can play a role, many feel that low levels of Vitamin D and the environment are also to blame.

Pediatric Gastroenterologist Dr. Eric Benchimol said doctors are seeing more young patients than ever before with IBD. He thinks that the depletion of good bacteria in one’s digestive tract also plays a role.
He stated: “By not exposing immune systems to certain types of bacteria, the gut is not being able to be populated with a normal healthy composition of good and bad bacteria.”

Current treatments far from ideal

IBD cannot be cured, and many of the current treatments leave a lot to be desired. Surgical removal of the colon is extreme and does not even always cure the condition completely. While some people turn to medications to manage it, these carry their own side effects. One class of drugs commonly used to treat the condition, thiopurines, were linked with a sevenfold increase in the risk of bone marrow and blood diseases.
Almost 250,000 Canadians are currently living with IBD, and around 30 new cases are diagnosed each day in the country. In the U.S., around 1.4 million Americans are affected by IBD.

Canada is not the only place where pediatric IBD cases are on the rise. France is also noting a spike in children with these illnesses, and French doctors find the high numbers very worrying.

Lifestyle changes can help

While there isn’t a precise and complete cure for the condition, making some lifestyle changes can help alleviate some of the disease’s most unpleasant symptoms, like cramping and diarrhea.

A study out of Baylor College of Medicine that reviewed 19 different studies discovered that people who had the highest intake of dietary fiber and fruit were the least likely to end up developing Crohn’s disease, while those who were the most prone to it had the highest intake of meat and omega-6 fatty acids. When it comes to ulcerative colitis, higher vegetable consumption appeared to reduce the risk, while fat consumption raised it.

A different study, this one out of Osaka University, found that people suffering from these illnesses had lower levels of vitamin D in their blood, as well a vitamin K.

Research shows that people who avoid saturated fats and sugars and increase their fruit and vegetable intake can note improved symptoms of IBD, and those who adhere to these changes can even sometimes experience remission from the disease. Vitamin B6 and Vitamin D have also been linked to relief from symptoms.

Fluoride Can Seriously Kill Your Thyroid Gland

There is a discouraging extent of research studies showing that the widely lauded benefits of fluoride dental health are more imagined than real. The fallout of sustained fluoride intake on general health is the core concern. Again, there is a mass of research literature on this matter, freely available and even being talked about across the globe.

However, this effort of endeavor was not considered by the York Review when their proposition was changed from "Studies of the effects of fluoride on health" to "Studies on the effects of fluoridated water on health." It is clearly evident that it was not considered by the BMA (British Medical Association), British Dental Association (BDA), BFS (British Fluoridation Society) and FPHM, (Faculty of Public Health and Medicine) since they all insist, as in the briefing paper to Members of Parliament - that fluoridation is safe and non-injurious to health.

It is a shameful fact yet it is much fitting to discover the effects of fluoridation, specifically to the thyroid gland.
It has been acknowledged since the latter part of the 19th century that certain communities, notably in Argentina, India, and Turkey were chronically ill, with premature aging, arthritis, mental retardation, and infertility; and high levels of natural fluorides in the water were responsible. Not only was it clear that the fluoride was having a general outcome on the health of the community, but in the early 1920s Goldemberg, working in Argentina showed that fluoride was displacing iodine; thus associating the damage and rendering the community also hypothyroid from iodine deficiency.

Fluoride Was Once Prescribed as an Antithyroid Drug

Most of us think that fluoride is generally a good supplement to reduce tooth decay. Fluoride, however, has also been prescribed as a drug to reduce the activity of the thyroid gland. Up through the 1950s, doctors in Europe and South America prescribed fluoride to reduce thyroid function in patients with overactive thyroids (hyperthyroidism).

Doctors selected fluoride as a thyroid suppressant based on findings linking fluoride to goiter, and, as predicted, fluoride therapy did reduce thyroid activity in the treated patients.

Moreover, according to clinical research, the fluoride dose capable of reducing thyroid function was notably low — just 2 to 5 mg per day over several months. This dose is well within the range (1.6 to 6.6 mg/day) of what individuals living in fluoridated communities are now estimated to receive on a regular basis.
Eminently harmful to the thyroid gland

This was the basis of the research in the 1930s of May, Litzka, Gorlitzer von Mundy, who used fluoride preparations to treat overactive thyroid illness. Their patients either drank fluoridated water, swallowed fluoride pills or were bathed in fluoridated bath water; and their thyroid function was, as a result, greatly depressed.

The use in 1937 of fluorocytosine for this purpose showed how effective this treatment was, but the effectiveness was difficult to predict and many patients suffered total thyroid loss. So it was given a new role and received a new name, Pardon. It was marketed not for overactive thyroid disease but as a pesticide.

This bit of history illustrates the fact that fluorides are dangerous in general and in particular highly damaging to the thyroid gland.

Thyroid

The thyroid gland regulates the body’s metabolic rate and plays an exquisitely important role in human health. Because all metabolically active cells require thyroid hormone for proper functioning, thyroid disruption can have a wide range of effects on virtually every system of the body.

Chemicals that interfere with thyroid function must be treated with great caution. According to the U.S. National Research Council, and as discussed below, there is substantial evidence that fluoride exposure can impact thyroid function in some individuals.

Fluoride & Hypothyroidism

Your thyroid gland produces the master metabolism hormones that influence every function in your body. It’s found in front of your neck and is part of your endocrine, or hormonal, system. The thyroid gland is responsible for maintaining your body’s overall metabolic rate, as well as for regulating normal growth and development.

Your thyroid hormones interact with all your other hormones, including cortisol, insulin, and sex hormones like progesterone, testosterone, and insulin. Since almost all active cells need the thyroid hormones to function properly, there’s no doubt that a dysfunctional thyroid can have a severe impact on your health.
Aside from exposure to fluoridated water, other lifestyle factors that can cause hypothyroidism include consuming a diet composed mostly of processed foods, having frequently elevated stress levels, and insufficient iodine in your diet. Gluten and food sensitivities, which cause inflammation, are also a common cause of thyroid dysfunction. Consuming unfermented, genetically modified soy, which is high in isoflavones (potent antithyroid agents), is also damaging to your thyroid gland.

Fluoride & Goiter

Studies dating back to the 19th century have implicated fluoride as a possible cause of goiter. Goitre (aka goiter) is an enlargement of the thyroid gland that in some cases can produce visible swelling in the neck. Although the main cause of goiter is iodine deficiency, it can also be caused by other things, including hypothyroidism and goitrogens (substances that cause goiter).

Studies that have examined human populations with adequate intake of iodine have reported mixed results about fluoride’s ability to produce a goiter. The research has been more consistent, however, where the examined populations had either excessive iodine intakes or deficient iodine intakes.

Most of this latter research was initially published in either Russian or Chinese and was only recently translated into English by the Fluoride Action Network. Accordingly, previous reviews of fluoride/goiter research were not able to take these studies into account. As such, the evidence linking fluoride to goiter for populations with excessive, or deficient, iodine exposure is stronger than previously recognized.

Fluoride, Thyroid, & Dogs

An investigation by the Environmental Working Group found that commercial dog food contains very high levels of fluoride (due, in part, to the presence 0f fluoride-rich bone particles).

Since dogs have been found to suffer a high incidence of hypothyroidism, the relationship between fluoride contamination and thyroid disease in dogs deserves further attention, particularly since it was fluoride’s production of goiter in dogs that first prompted the idea that fluoride could be an antithyroid agent.

Displaces iodine in the body

These figures would be worrying enough since they mean that iodine deficiency, which results in hypothyroidism (thyroid hormone cannot be manufactured without iodine) is likely to affect huge numbers of people. What makes it infinitely worse, is that fluorine, being a halogen (chemically related to iodine), but very much more active, displaces iodine. So that the uptake of iodine is compromised by the ejection, as it were, of the iodine by fluorine.

To condemn the entire population, already having marginal levels of iodine, to the inevitable progressive failure of their thyroid system by fluoridating the water, borders on criminal lunacy.

I would like to place a scenario in front of those colleagues who favor fluoridation. A new pill is marketed. Some trials not altogether satisfactory, nevertheless, show a striking improvement in dental caries.

Unfortunately, it has been found to be thyrotoxic, mutagenic, immunosuppressive, cause arthritis and infertility in comparatively small doses over a relatively short period of time.

Do you think it should be marketed?

Fluoridation of the nation's water supply will do little for our dental health but will have catastrophic effects on our general health. We cannot, must not, dare not, subject our nation to this appalling risk.

Moreover, fluorides are cumulative and build up steadily with ingestion of fluoride from all sources, which include not just water but the air we breathe and the food we eat. The use of fluoride toothpaste in dental hygiene and the coating of teeth are further sources of substantial levels of fluoride intake.

The body can only eliminate half of the total intake, which means that the older you are the more fluoride will have accumulated in your body. Inevitably this means the aging population is particularly targeted. And even worse for the very young there is a major element of risk in baby formula made with fluoridated water. The extreme sensitivity of the very young to fluoride toxicity makes this unacceptable.

In accordance with section 312(b) of the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986, title III of Pub. L. 99-660, 100 Stat. 3779 (42 U.S.C. 300aa-1 note) and section 2114(c) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 300aa-14(c)), the following is a table of vaccines, the injuries, disabilities, illnesses, conditions, and deaths resulting from the administration of such vaccines, and the time period in which the first symptom or manifestation of onset or of the significant aggravation of such injuries, disabilities, illnesses, conditions, and deaths is to occur after vaccine administration for purposes of receiving compensation under the Program.

Remarkably, most Americans have no idea there even exists a Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. The media mostly ignores it, pretending it doesn't exist in precisely the same way the media pretends there's no mercury in vaccines (even though there still is).

And if you really want proof that vaccines are dangerous because of the toxic chemicals they still contain, just consider this hilarious fact: Hillary Clinton says vaccines are safe. Yep, and she wants all her emails to be made public, too, so that you can find out how the Clinton Foundation has been funded with millions of dollars from terror-linked anti-American governments known for committing "violence against women" explains the New York Times.

Anyone who's stupid enough to inject themselves with a toxic cocktail of chemicals recommended by Hillary Clinton might even be brain damaged enough to vote for another Clinton... or another Bush, for that matter. (Have you realized it's all theater yet?)

Vaccines are made dangerous by the toxic additives

Virtually all informed people have already come to the realization that vaccines are far less than perfectly safe for the simple reason that they contain mercury, MSG, formaldehyde, aborted human fetal tissue and other bizarre chemicals -- none of which are medically necessary in a vaccine in the first place.

Vaccine manufacturers add these chemicals to vaccines on purpose. They want them in the formula! And instead of removing the toxic chemicals and manufacturing "clean vaccines" that would meet almost no resistance from the public, they instead got Congress to grant the industry absolute legal immunity so that they could continue to sell flawed products that repeatedly harm children, teens and adults. How's that for corporate ethics?

If there's anyone who hasn't yet awakened to the origins of the present-day vaccine fanaticism and measles scaremongering hoax, here's something very important to consider:

In fact, vaccine pushers have never met a chemical or heavy metal they didn't absolutely love! And they're sure that infants, children and pregnant women are perfectly safe to be injected with unlimited quantities of vaccines, because that's what the corporate-funded fraudulent science says.

Their logic is utterly irrational and bizarre, of course. They argue that aluminum is safe to inject into children because there's also aluminum in Tums antacids, for example. This is the logical equivalent to arguing that because there's lead in brown rice, it is therefore safe to inject children with lead, too.

Fluoride fanatics also attempt to invoke the same twisted logic. Because fluoride is a "naturally-occurring mineral," they claim, it's a great idea to artificially inject toxic forms of fluoride into the water supply to "restore the mineral." This, too, is the logical equivalent of arguing for more arsenic in the water supply because arsenic is also a "naturally-occurring mineral." Perhaps next we'll see fluoride advocates calling for arsenic, lead, cadmium and mercury to be added to the water supply, too.

But wait: Vitamin C, midwives and medicinal herbs are all "dangerous"

The same people pushing vaccines, fluoride and GMOs as "safe" also attack everything from the natural world, condemning those things are "dangerous."

It's not just natural things like vitamin C that the vaccine pushers insist are dangerous: they also have a deep philosophical investment in ideas like medical fascism, the suppression of scientific reality and the destruction of human rights.

• The elimination of free speech about medicine and health and the suppression of any discussion of natural cures on the internet. (Google, anyone?)

• Forced depopulation to reduce the global population and thereby "save the planet."

• The use of human children as guinea pigs for medical experiments.

• The imprisoning of Americans who disagree with the corporate-funded "scientific consensus" delusions of the day.

• Egomaniacal arrogance of poison pushers who are so convinced their drugs / vaccines / fluoride / GMOs are so incredibly amazing that every person on the planet should be forced to consume them at gunpoint... for their own good, of course, because the poison pushers are so compassionate.

Sycophantic Pro-Vaccine Propaganda Setting Stage For Ugly End-Game Scenario

Government propaganda is now reaching surreal levels. Anyone awakened to the plans of the globalist new world order understands the context of the accelerated multi-phased propaganda. However, the masses still watching and believing mainstream media news still seem clueless to what is really happening both domestically and abroad. Or are they?

Despite the disparity of the awareness, many of us get the sense that at least some are becoming less clueless with every day that goes by. Perhaps this is wishful thinking or optimism but I get the feeling this might be the case. Why? Because the empire is becoming more and more daring.

With every day we are seeing the big government challenge basic human values, ethics, common sense, logic and reason. Because of their desperate overreach, this overall scenario may contain a silver lining in terms of human awakening. However, looking at the recent pro-vaccine hysteria, the more frightening reality staring us in the face may be this - the vaccine propaganda is spinning off in its own bizarre direction and is now quietly cementing itself as one of the most powerful tools to be potentially used to implement tyranny and depopulation consistent with the globalist plans for a new world order outlined in the Georgia Guidestones.

One thing I've learned about the Obama administration's tactics is that when they need something really bad they summon Hollywood into the game. In case anyone is not paying attention, look for this sign. How many times have we seen Hollywood jump into the show in the last several years when they (the administration) is bent on pushing a specific agenda? From David Keith appearing on Steven Colbert show to sell geoengineering to the viewers, to director James Cameron selling global warming/climate change in a Showtime TV show, to Hollywood producer Kathryn Bigelow rolling out Zero Dark Thirty to the sell the Bin Laden death hoax, to the post Sandy Hook false flag Hollywood gun control infomercials, to now the ridiculous Jimmy Kimmel "anti-vaxxers" spoof video attacking anyone who DOESN'T want to be forced (i.e. anyone who wants to make a personal choice about what goes into their body) to vaccinate their children with the (still largely unproven for safety) Measles vaccines (as is confirmed on its own insert).

Despite this basic medical conclusion, apparently worth a clearly posted warning on the vaccine's own insert, Kimmel was apparently told to push the pro-vaccine propaganda to protect profits. All profits and corruption aside, the more concerning issue is how this new wave of pro-vaccine propaganda is now setting the stage for what could be a very ugly and horrific end-game scenario here in the U.S., as depopulation and true tyranny now becomes exponentially more realistic and well within reach of the controllers.

There are many red flags in this march toward medical and total true tyranny that should concern everyone. One being, whatever happened to all those left wingers who used to tell us about how abortion is all about CHOICE and freedom of choice over your own body? Wasn't that the number one argument Liberals used all these years to justify their position on abortion? Great argument in my opinion, at the very least in some cases. Women naturally have the right to choose what they will do with their own body. What a concept! But, where are those voices today? Where are the angry Liberals defending their bodies against forced vaccinations?? This form of silence is a red flag that should concern anyone who cares about American and freedom.

Isn't freedom of choice, especially when it comes to your OWN body at the root of being an American and the general concept of freedom. If freedom means anything at all, isn't the choice of who you are and what you do to yourself at the heart of it all? How can a "government" under any circumstances, especially here in America, fathom that anything forceful is freedom? Whoever said that we as a people are through with pursuing freedom? Are we to discard our history, values and beliefs because a few tyrants in control feel that freedom is no more?

Many of us are fully awakened to this obvious tyranny that is unfolding, but you may wonder how can it be that there are still people asleep? The answer is TV, mainstream media and Hollywood propaganda being controlled by the CIA. This remnant of un-awakened people will now have to wake up to avoid a horrific end-game scenario now clearly primed to unfold in the near future.

The strategy has intensified, it's now or never for many Americans. Wake up or die (of cancer or other disease) or perhaps wake up or lose your freedom. This American experiment will ultimately be a disastrous and tragic story with a likely horrible ending for many people. The penalty of ignorance will soon be felt and is already being felt by many. Nonetheless, the Hollywood celebrity CIA assets continue to sell ignorance to the American people, as ignorance is the lifeblood of the new world order. Keep everyone stupid and kill off and demonize those that are awake - their strategy is crystal clear.

Here is another red flag, another warning, food for thought and cause for concern. The controllers are working up a big propaganda campaign in an effort to get everyone vaccinated for Measles which is a medically 'limited' disease. Meaning, for the most part, when you contract the disease your chances of survival (as with the common cold or the flu) is very high. As WebMD website puts it:

The disease is brief and self-limited for most children, and the treatment is entirely supportive.

That's right, after recovering, those who contract the disease are then considered immune for life! Great, isn't it? Immunity for life? This is what government is protecting you from. They apparently don't want you to have immunity for life unless they profit from it. Government wants you to roll over and let them stick their antigens inside your body so that you form anti-bodies to THEIR antigens, risk spreading the disease in the process (in the case of Measles "LIVE virus" vaccine) and then HOPE you are immune. This is like trading 'definite' immunity for 'hopeful' immunity and demonizing anyone who doesn't pick the 'hopeful' immunity.

Here's the ominous sign in all of this. If government is willing to ramp up propaganda for a vaccine intended to immunize you from a self-limited disease, what is government going to do when the vaccine giants finally get their Ebola vaccine ready? Maria Cheng, AP Medical Writer states:

The World Health Organization will start large-scale testing of an experimental Ebola vaccine in Guinea on Saturday to see how effective it might be in preventing future outbreaks of the deadly virus.

The vaccine being tested - VSV-EBOV - was developed by Canada and is now licensed to Merck. A second vaccine - one developed by U.S. National Institutes of Health and GlaxoSmithKline - will be tested in a separate study as supplies become available.

Remember Problem-Reaction-Solution? Does anyone see the obvious ominous threat that is coming to all of America in the name of "public safety"? This is what happens when you give up your individual freedom in the name of the public good. What few realize is that they are using the Measles vaccine hysteria to set up the stage for full-on forced vaccination of their upcoming Ebola vaccine.

With the vaccine industry already caught spiking Tetanus vaccines in Kenya with sterilizing agents, the vaccine stage now stands as a prime tool for the longstanding depopulation agenda long admitted by Bill Gates himself. Problem-Reaction-Solution: It will take little effort for the globalist terrorists to release Ebola again into the public, work up the 24/7 Ebola stories (like they did in 2014) and then create legislation to forcefully vaccinate everyone. The 2014 Ebola scare may have even been a drill for the real scare. Those who refuse will be exponentially demonized if not outright arrested or attacked. Its is thus not difficult to imagine that potentially, this one issue alone could trigger full-on revolution, violence toward health care workers, and enough chaos that could justify martial law.

The controllers know that Americans will not go for medical tyranny yet they continue to play this card even handing the task to Hollywood puppets to push the agenda. I believe this is an ominous sign of things to come. We all knew things were going to get worse before they got better. Be ready for what is coming, be informed, help educate others and remain positive and hopeful.

Remember, the evidence against vaccine safety is established and very compelling and only healthcare ignorance, scientific fraud and protection of mega-profits is keeping the deception going. There are many ways to expose this medical tyranny blueprint, pick one and run with it. The same way that military all take an oath to defend the Constitution, likewise medical doctors all take an oath to do no harm. It is also against medical ethical principles to forcefully treat a patient. This principle is as old as medicine and any doctor (regardless of any old or new government laws) who goes along with forceful treatment is violating their oath and is violating medical codes of ethics.

The issue is not about whether vaccines work. Vaccines can be a great tool to control disease if used properly. The issue is about ethics. Know that in modern medicine ethics is highly emphasized, and violating a patient's basic rights is at the heart of this matter. Anyone can research a pharmacology book and confirm that there are no medicines or vaccines available in these modern times that are so flawless that they justify forceful administration. Almost every single drug and all vaccines have dangerous unwanted "side effects" and drawbacks associated with them, enough to make an argument for why a patient might choose to not receive that treatment.

Naturally the State will hold that the claimed "safety" of the public is more important than individual choice and humanity will have to continue demonstrating that government's version of "safety" is not safe at all, and hope that someone listens.

Finally, remember that the proof is all there and ultimately we are up against disinformation, the CIA and its mainstream media and Hollywood mouthpieces. For this reason is it up to all of us to spread the word. Educate those we know about this topic and do everything you can to inform those that don't understand what is happening. In the end 'Truth and knowledge' will clash against 'Lies and propaganda', and like all other government conspiracies the truth will come out in what Arthur Schopenhauer called the three stages of truth. First they ridicule you, then they violently oppose you, then you win. We are now in the first stage of ridicule. When the Ebola vaccine is ready I expect the 'violent opposition' will begin. Just Label It organization a GMO greenwashing corporate front group , say industry insiders

The Just Label It organization is actively seeking to block GMO labeling legislation because its key board members and operatives have been corrupted by the very same mega food corporations that oppose GMO labeling, high-level industry sources told Natural News.

This Natural News investigation has obtained on-the-record quotes from no less than five credible sources in the industry, all of whom accuse Gary Hirshberg of Stonyfield Farm and Scott Faber of Just Label It of betraying the GMO labeling movement and secretly pushing a covert agenda to sabotage state-level labeling efforts.

All five sources demanded anonymity, citing their fear that punitive action would be taken against them within the industry if their names were attached to this story. "When this comes out it will start a Civil War in the labeling movement," one source told Natural News. "There are those of us who believe that GMO labeling will never be achieved, at any level, as long as Gary Hirshberg and Scott Faber are siphoning money away from committed labeling campaigns and sabotaging real GMO labeling at the state level."

Gary Hirshberg's Stonyfield Farm is largely owned by the Dannon yogurt corporation, which strongly opposes GMO labeling

At the heart of the accusations against Gary Hirshberg and Just Label It is the apparent conflict of interest stemming from the fact that Stonyfield Farm is 85% owned by Danone, a $29 billion company that provided funding to defeat GMO labeling efforts at the state level.

At the outset, it seems extraordinary that a chairperson of the Just Label It organization could be someone with such strong financial ties to a powerful corporate opponent of GMO labeling. "The real problem with Hirshberg is his longtime partner in Stonyfield is Danone," a confirmed source told Natural News. "[Danone] had $29.3 Billion in sales in 2013, is a toxic pesticide / yogurt and junk food international conglomerate, with an agenda in the U.S. to block GMO labeling."

Other sources told Natural News that Gary Hirshberg had deliberately hijacked the Just Label It campaign. "Gary Hirshberg is attempting to turn a grassroots civil rights movement into a corporate controlled, special interest orgy [in cooperation] with other corporate organic bosses that are controlled mouthpieces of multinational junk food companies."

"In an effort to protect his massive corporate fortune, Hirshberg set up his own GMO non-profit Just Label It, only allowing corporate organic and other sellouts to be on the board," says an Organic Spies document acquired by Natural News (download link below).

"Hirshberg was hoping to look like a hero to the media and confuse consumers that Just Label It was the real deal. Unfortunately, after three years of watching this corporate weasel spin his twisted web, the Organic Spies has discovered that Just Label It is simply another corporate controlled front group that has never come close to succeeding in Washington DC or anywhere else, except pocketing large donations from organic companies and other high level donors, while real grassroots efforts starve for cash. Instead of actually joining the real campaigns at the state level, Hirshberg has feigned involvement to the press and through corporate PR efforts, while a series of ballot initiatives have narrowly lost after being massively outspent, and he's made off with millions of dollars in donations that could have made the difference in California, Washington, Oregon and Colorado."

"What setting up a corporate front group does is ensure that Hirshberg has a seat at the table in negotiating any federal GMO labeling bill, which is essential to Danone and his corporate organic friends who want to water down any bill to protect their profits," reads the Organic Spies allegations document.

Natural News welcomes a response from Gary Hirshberg and Stonyfield, and we will be happy to publish that response if it is offered. We believe that Hirshberg, Faber and Just Label It should be afforded the opportunity to respond to these allegations.

Scott Faber, former GMA executive who supports GMOs

As part of this investigation, I spoke to Scott Faber who flatly denied the allegations leveled above, saying that Just Label It was fighting hard for GMO labeling at the federal level. He stated that the allegations were "utterly unfounded" and were being fronted by people who were attempting to create confusion and chaos in the GMO labeling movement.

But Faber himself is on the record saying that he believes genetically engineered foods are not just safe, but even "promising." As he testified before Congress in this video, when Faber was with the Environmental Working Group, he stated:

We do not oppose genetic engineering, genetically modified food ingredients. We think there are actually many promising applications of genetically modified food ingredients. ...This isn't a question about the technology, this is a question of whether or not to require labeling.

"Why would Scott Faber the Executive Director of Just label It repeat Monsanto's discredited claim that there is no scientific evidence that GMOs are hazardous?" a source asked me during an interview. "There is mounting scientific evidence that GMOs and the toxic chemicals that accompany them pose a major threat to human health and the environment."

Indeed, that very theme was driven home just yesterday when Jane Goodall, one of the most celebrated scientists in world history, went public with her warning that GMOs are the result of "...a huge conspiracy by the big companies who do genetic modification to keep the public from knowing the truth, to subvert the course of justice."

Goodall warns that "...the general public and government decision makers have been hoodwinked by the clever and methodical twisting of the facts and the propagation of many myths. ...[A] number of respected scientific institutions, as well as many eminent scientists, were complicit in this relentless spreading of disinformation."

"Jane Goodall nailed it when she talked about how the evil biotech corporations have infiltrated respected organizations to spread disinformation," another source told Natural News yesterday, after the news broke. "Just Label It is a propaganda conspiracy [led by a] corporate backstabber who takes his marching orders from corporations that strongly oppose GMO labeling."

A conspiracy to divert funds away from GMO labeling?

Allegations against Gary Hirshberg go beyond mere conflicts of interest. In investigating this story and speaking to high-level sources within the industry, Natural News was also told that Hirshberg essentially committed fundraising fraud and intentionally diverted funds away from the Prop. 37 California labeling vote.

"In the critical weeks before the Prop. 37 vote in California, Gary Hirshberg intentionally diverted resources from the campaign by holding fundraisers in California, including LA, where he misled celebrities to believe they were raising awareness and donating to Prop. 37," a source told Natural News. "Instead, Hirshberg raised money and media attention for his own organization, Just Label It, which focuses solely on a national labeling standard."

"In each successive GMO labeling ballot initiative, Hirshberg has donated insignificant amounts [of money] and encouraged his fellow organic company CEOs to give token amounts as well," the same source explains.

"I disagree with Gary Hirshberg chairman of Stonyfield Farm and leader of Just Label It, for putting all his eggs in the federal basket," wrote attorney Michele Simon, author of Appetite for Profit. "While Hirshberg and his company endorsed 37, he donated relatively little to the campaign and was even quoted in the New York Times saying he doesn't think this problem can be solved state by state. Obviously not, but how does Hirshberg ever expect to get anywhere at the federal level unless and until we can gain traction locally? This is exactly how most policy change is made, especially when we face massive industry opposition. Some are already predicting that the California loss will set back the effort nationally."

"Hirshberg has demonstrated himself as a skilled corporate operator who has numerous political and business conflicts of interest that should disqualify him from being any type of leader in the GMO labeling movement," reads the Organic Spies allegations report (see below).

Scott Faber was the Vice President of Federal Affairs for the GMA

Scott Faber, too, has his own skeletons. From 2007 to 2012, he worked for the Grocery Manufacturers of America, the very same anti-labeling organization that committed actual crimes in Washington State while carrying out illegal election money laundering to hide the names of corporate donors that oppose GMO labeling.

During every state GMO ballot measure, the GMA has viciously fought to block labeling laws, and it has been largely successful in doing so. To realize that Scott Faber held a high position in this organization for five years and is now the Executive Director of Just Label It raises a long list of red flags. This is even more interesting when considering the financial web between Danone and Gary Hirshberg's company Stonyfield Farm.

"Hirshberg and his corporate organic cronies have handed America's GMO labeling movement over to a corrupt hired gun with no loyalty to organics, family farmers or the food movement," says the Organic Spies allegations document. "Instead, Faber has a 5-year track record of selling America's farmer and consumers out in exchange for a large salary. It's no wonder Just Label It's DC strategy is in shambles. Failure by design is what Just Label It sounds like, while sabotaging real grassroots efforts that have a chance to succeed."

Infiltration and corruption: the Monsanto way

The biotech industry's playbook is founded on the infiltration and corruption of every institutional imaginable: science journals, universities, media networks, government regulators and grocery retailers.

"[T]he commercialization of GE foods occurred through the unbelievably poor judgment -- if not downright corruption -- of the US Food and Drug Administration (the FDA). ...[I]t apparently ignored (and covered up) the concerns of its own scientists and then violated a federal statute and its own regulations by permitting GE foods to be marketed without any testing whatsoever," writes Jane Goodall in the foreword of the book Altered Genes, Twisted Truth - How the Venture to Genetically Engineer Our Food Has Subverted Science, Corrupted Government, and Systematically Deceived the Public by Steven Druker.

Biotech's infiltration and corruption of the mainstream media is also documented in the book. "[J]ournalists who tried to bring unsettling facts to light had their stories altered or totally quashed by higher level executives," writes Jane Goodall.

Given biotech's successful infiltration of the media, the U.S. government, science journals and universities, it's no leap at all to realize that infiltration of the GMO labeling movement is far more than merely likely: it seems inevitable.

Perhaps that's why so many voices in the industry are now saying it has already happened, and that Gary Hirshberg and Scott Faber are essentially "Monsanto minions" who have turned Just Label It into a biotech front group intended to block GMO labeling, not achieve it.

AGree a front group with ties to Monsanto, Bill & Melinda Gates?

As the Organic Spies writes, "[A]nother new front group that Hirshberg serves on as a 'co-chair', named AGree, is a massive threat to the organic movement."

"Hirshberg's connections to Michael Taylor and Tom Vilsack are almost tame compared to his involvement with another corporate agribusiness front group called AGree. AGree launched in the spring of 2011 and is controlled by former Monsanto and Solutia board member, William Ruckelshaus and Gordon Conway, who promoted GMOs for more than a decade at the Rockefeller foundation. As one of the "co-chairs" of the new organization, Hirshberg is collaborating with a rogues gallery of former top USDA, USAID officials that have a history of promoting GMOs and industrial agriculture, but now want to create a policy based decision 'framework' making process to 'address' challenges in agriculture for the future. Not surprising, AGree is fully funded by the Billionaire pro GMO, pro industrial farming monoculture globalist foundations, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation and The Walton Family Foundation, led by the heirs of the WalMart fortune."

The AGree website features cooperation with corporate partner National Geographic, which recently ran a brazenly dishonest hit piece entitled "THE WAR ON SCIENCE" which characterized anyone who disagreed with Monsanto's science fraud as being equivalent to those who "think the moon landing was faked." (This derogatory tactic of declaring anyone who opposes genetically engineered seeds as being "anti-science" is borrowed straight out of Monsanto's play book.)

According to the AGree website, its co-chairs include people who have deep ties to the biotech and processed food industries:

Dan Glickman - former USDA Secretary of Agriculture, "who helped lead the Monsanto deregulation charge under President Bill Clinton," says Organic Spies.

Jim Moseley - former USDA Deputy Secretary, "who was appointed to the USDA for his corrupt promotion of factory farms for the National Pork Producers Council," says Organic Spies.

Emmy Simmons - an "agribusiness lifer who spent 30 years with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) that promotes GMOs," says Organic Spies.

The AGree mission statement reads like Dilbert comic strip "corporate speak":

AGree seeks to drive positive change in the food and agriculture system by connecting and challenging leaders from diverse communities to catalyze action and elevate food and agriculture as a national priority... Through collaboration and frank discussion, AGree has established a venue whereby a broad coalition of interests have built trust, found common ground, and developed shared strategies for achieving transformative change.

"AGree is incubated within the Meridian Institute, which is led by two men deeply connected to the biotech industry, each having used their elite ties to promote Monsanto's chemical GMO agenda around the world. Meridian Board Members: William Ruckelshaus, Gordon Conway, William Ruckelshaus, who serves as Chairman for the Meridian Institute, previously served as the first administrator of the EPA under Richard Nixon, where he banned DDT. Ruckelshaus later went on to serve as acting director of the FBI and named deputy attorney general and then once again at the EPA. According to SourceWatch, Ruckelshaus set up shop and started working with chemical corporations, to undermine basic safety regulations related to Superfund sites, including Monsanto, DuPont and Union Carbide. Eventually, Ruckelshaus served on the boards of Monsanto, and Monsanto spin-offs Solutia and Pharmacia."

Organic Spies releases long list of allegations in detailed document

The Organic Spies is a secretive group of investigators and activists who are best known for exposing Whole Foods' embarrassing denial that their stores sold products containing genetically engineered ingredients.

It was Organic Spies, in fact, that ultimately forced Whole Foods to announce it would achieve 100% GMO labeling compliance on all the products it sells by the year 2018.

Jane Goodall and Steven Druker Expose US Government Fraud over GMOs

In an acclaimed new book being launched Wednesday in London, American public interest attorney Steven Druker reveals how the US government and leading scientific institutions have systematically misrepresented the facts about GMOs and the scientific research that casts doubt on their safety.

The book, Altered Genes, Twisted Truth, features a foreword by the renowned primatologist Dame Jane Goodall, hailing it as “without doubt one of the most important books of the last 50 years”.

The book’s revelations come at a crucial time when some European countries are considering the commercial planting of GM crops following the European Parliament’s decision to allow member states to opt out of the blockade that has barred them from the EU until now. Based on the evidence presented in the book, Druker and Goodall will assert that it would be foolhardy to push forward with a technology that is unacceptably risky and should never have been allowed on the market in the first place.

The book is the result of more than 15 years of intensive research and investigation by Druker, who came to prominence for initiating a lawsuit against the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that forced it to divulge its files on GM foods. Those files revealed that GM foods first achieved commercialisation in 1992 only because the FDA:

• Covered up the extensive warnings of its own scientists about their dangers.
• Lied about the facts.
• And then violated federal food safety law by permitting these foods to be marketed without having been proven safe through standard testing.

The book points out that if the FDA had heeded its own experts’ advice and publicly acknowledged their warnings that GM foods entailed higher risks than their conventional counterparts, the GM food venture would have imploded and never gained traction anywhere.

It also reveals:

• Many well-placed scientists have repeatedly issued misleading statements about GM foods, and so have leading scientific institutions such as the US National Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the UK’s Royal Society.
• Consequently, most people are unaware of the risks these foods entail and the manifold problems they have caused.
• Contrary to the claims of biotech advocates, humans have indeed been harmed by consuming the output of genetic engineering. In fact, the technology’s first ingestible product (a food supplement of the essential amino acid, L-tryptophan) caused dozens of deaths and seriously sickened thousands of people (permanently disabling many of them). Moreover, the evidence points to the genetic alteration as the most likely cause of the unusual contamination that rendered the supplement toxic.
• Laboratory animals have also suffered from eating products of genetic engineering, and well-conducted tests with GM crops have yielded many troubling results, including intestinal abnormalities, liver disturbances, and impaired immune systems.
• Numerous scientists (including those on the FDA’s Biotechnology Task Force) have concluded that the process of creating genetically modified food radically differs from conventional breeding and entails greater risk.
• There has never been a consensus within the scientific community that GM foods are safe, and many eminent experts have issued cautions – as have respected scientific organizations such as the Royal Society of Canada and the Public Health Association of Australia.

Druker says: “Contrary to the assertions of its proponents, the massive enterprise to reconfigure the genetic core of the world’s food supply is not based on sound science but on the systematic subversion of science – and it would collapse if subjected to an open airing of the facts.”

At their upcoming press conference, he and Jane Goodall intend to challenge the Royal Society to confront the facts, apologize for the misleading statements that it and several of its prominent members have issued, and take earnest steps to set the record straight.

In her foreword to Altered Genes, Twisted Truth , Goodall commends it for countering the disinformation and providing much-needed clarity. She states: “I shall urge everyone I know who cares about life on earth, and the future of their children, and children’s children, to read it. Italian court rules mercury and aluminum in vaccines cause autism: US media continues total blackout of medical truth

It has been more than five months since an Italian court in Milan awarded compensation to the family of a young boy who developed autism from a six-in-one hexavalent vaccine manufactured by corrupt British drug giant GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), and the U.S. media is still nowhere to be found in reporting on this breakthrough ruling.

On September 24, 2014, Italy's version of the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program agreed that GSK's "INFANRIX Hexa" vaccine for polio, diphtheria, tetanus, hepatitis B, pertussis and haemophilus influenza type B induced permanent autism and brain damage in the previously healthy child, whose name has been kept private for safety.

The vaccine, which contains multiple antigens, thimerosal (mercury), multiple forms of aluminum, formaldehyde, recombinant (genetically modified) viral components and various chemical preservatives,^[PDF] demonstrably caused the young boy to regress into autism shortly after he received all three doses of the vaccine, prompting his family to petition the case before Italy's Ministry of Health.

When the Ministry rejected it, the family proceeded to file a lawsuit, which is no longer an option in the U.S. thanks to a Supreme Court ruling that exempts drug companies from legal liability when their products harm, permanently disfigure or kill people.

After listening to expert medical testimony, the Italian court remarkably concluded that the boy suffered permanent harm as a result of the vaccine, and particularly its neurotoxic mercury and aluminum components.

Confidential GSK report reveals that INFANRIX Hexa causes brain damage, anal leakage, autism and more

Also presented as evidence was a 1,271-page confidential GSK report revealing that the drug giant knew full well from human clinical trials that INFANRIX Hexa causes autism, but the company chose to release the vaccine anyway. Italian courts also found MMR vaccine causes autism

The ruling by the court, which is now being challenged by the Ministry of Health, comes upon the heels of an earlier one from 2012. Judge Lucio Ardigo found that the popular measles, mumps and rubella vaccine, also known as MMR, caused another child's autism. A 15-month-old boy who previously had no health conditions suddenly developed severe bowel and eating problems after getting the MMR vaccine. He was later diagnosed with autism.

The court found that the boy had "been damaged by irreversible complications due to vaccination (with trivalent MMR)," read the official court documents, according to Age of Autism.

"There is a desperate need for more science on autism and the role that vaccines play, flimsy industry, medical and government retorts to the contrary notwithstanding," wrote Mary S. Holland for the health news and information site.

Eminent environmentalist and anthropologist Jane Goodall has written the foreword to the book and states that Steven Druker is a hero for exposing this massive fraud and is worthy of a Nobel prize for lifting the lid on the truth about GM.

She goes on to state that the industry worked to:

“convince the public and government officials, through the dissemination of false information, that there was an overwhelming expert consensus, based on solid evidence, that the new foods were safe. Yet this, as Druker points out, was clearly not true.”

Goodall adds that the companies have spread disinformation to try and win public support. She states:

“Druker describes how amazingly successful the biotech lobby has been – and the extent to which the general public and government decision makers have been hoodwinked by the clever and methodical twisting of the facts and the propagation of many myths. Moreover, it appears that a number of respected scientific institutions, as well as many eminent scientists, were complicit in this relentless spreading of disinformation.”

Jane Goodall is best known for her 55-year study of social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees in Gombe Stream National Park, Tanzania. She holds many awards for her environmental and humanitarian work, including the Benjamin Franklin Medal in Life Science, the French Legion of Honour, the Benjamin Franklin Medal in Life Science, Japan’ s Kyoto Prize and the Tyler Prize for Environmental Achievement.

She describes Druker’s work as one of the most important books of the last 50 years, and adds:

“It will go a long way toward dispelling the confusion and delusion that has been created regarding the genetic engineering process and the foods it creates. Although this book tells a story that’s in many ways distressing, it’s important that it has finally been told because so much confusion has been spread and so many important decision-makers have apparently been deluded.”

Steven Druker gave a press conference in London on Wednesday and has challenged Britain’s Royal Society to apologise for its pro-GM stance and its part in rubbishing scientists who have safety doubts over the crops and food. His work highlights research which has found tumours, liver and kidney harm in animals given GM feed in trials. And he complains, that researchers who dare to raise these problems have been pilloried.

He said:

Polysorbate 80 And Other Emulsifiers Found In Foods and Vaccines Alter Gut Microbes Leading To Inflammatory Conditions

Polysorbate 80 and other emulsifiers commonly found in pharmaceuticals, vaccines, cosmetics and many foods have been found to negatively affect the immune system and affect fertility. Researchers writing in Nature have now found they are also altering our gut microbiota composition and driving metabolic changes that lead to inflammatory conditions and obesity.

While it has been long suggested that gut microbiota disturbances are involved in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), obesity and metabolic syndrome, the new findings suggest emulsifiers might be partially responsible for this disturbance and the increased incidence of these diseases.

The study used mice to test the effect of two common emulsifiers - carboxymethylcellulose and polysorbate-80 - on the microbiome make up and metabolism, finding that relatively low-level concentrations of the emulsifiers resulted in distinct alterations to the gut microbial ecosystem (microbiota) and led to low-grade inflammation and the onset of metabolic syndrome.

Writing in a study in Cell, CU-Boulder Research Associate Dorota Porazinska and doctoral student Sophie Weiss showed how gut bacteria can ameliorate autism-like symptoms.

Interestingly enough it is also an emulsifier used in popular brands of ice cream.

Led by Dr Benoit Chassaing of Georgia State University, the research team reported that the emulsifier-induced metabolic syndrome was associated with microbiota encroachment, altered species composition and increased pro-inflammatory potential.

"These results support the emerging concept that perturbed host-microbiota interactions resulting in low-grade inflammation can promote adiposity and its associated metabolic effects," wrote the team. "Moreover, they suggest that the broad use of emulsifying agents might be contributing to an increased societal incidence of obesity/metabolic syndrome and other chronic inflammatory diseases."

In addition to this study, there have been studies in Food and Chemical Toxicology which showed that Polysorbate 80 causes infertility. Baby female rats were injected with polysorbate 80 at days 4-7 after birth. It accelerated the maturing of the rats and caused changes to the vagina and womb lining, hormonal changes, ovary deformities and degenerative follicles.

According to Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, Volume 95, Number 6, December 2005 , pp. 593-599(7), "it is of current relevance as a 'hidden' inductor of anaphylactoid reactions", and "Polysorbate 80 was identified as the causative agent for the anaphylactoid reaction of nonimmunologic origin in the patient. The study included a pregnant woman who suffered anaphylactic shock after being given a IV drip of multi-vitamins containing polysorbate 80.

Study details

"The dramatic increase in these diseases [IBD, obesity and metabolic syndrome] has occurred despite consistent human genetics, suggesting a pivotal role for an environmental factor," commented Chassaing. "Food interacts intimately with the microbiota so we considered what modern additions to the food supply might possibly make gut bacteria more pro-inflammatory."

Chassaing and his colleagues theorised that emulsifiers might affect the gut microbiota to promote these inflammatory diseases and designed experiments in mice to test this possibility.

Mice were fed two commonly used emulsifiers, polysorbate 80 and carboxymethylcellulsose, at doses seeking to model the broad consumption of the numerous emulsifiers that are incorporated into almost all processed foods, they said.

The team found that emulsifier consumption changed the species composition of the gut microbiota - and did so in a manner that made it more pro-inflammatory.

According to the team, the altered microbiota had enhanced capacity to digest and infiltrate the dense mucus layer that lines the intestine, which is normally, largely devoid of bacteria.

In addition, alterations in bacterial species resulted in bacteria expressing more flagellin and lipopolysaccharide, which can activate pro-inflammatory gene expression by the immune system, said Chassaing and colleagues.

Immune response

These changes in bacterial expression triggered chronic colitis in mice genetically prone to this disorder, revealed the team.

In contrast, in mice with normal immune systems, emulsifiers induced low-grade or mild intestinal inflammation and metabolic syndrome, characterized by increased levels of food consumption, obesity, hyperglycemia and insulin resistance.

However, the effects of emulsifier consumption were eliminated in germ-free mice, which lack a microbiota, said the team. Who also showed that transplant of the microbiota from emulsifiers-treated mice to germ-free mice was enough to transfer some parameters of low-grade inflammation and metabolic syndrome.

Chassaing and his team said this indicates that the microbiota has a 'central role' in mediating the adverse effect of emulsifiers.

The team is now testing additional emulsifiers and designing experiments to investigate how emulsifiers affect humans.

If similar results are obtained, it would indicate a role for the food additive in driving the epidemic of obesity, its inter-related consequences and a range of diseases associated with chronic gut inflammation, said the authors.

While detailed mechanisms underlying the effect of emulsifiers on metabolism remain under study, Chassaing and co pointed out that avoiding excess food consumption is of paramount importance.

"We do not disagree with the commonly held assumption that over-eating is a central cause of obesity and metabolic syndrome," said Andrew Gewirtz, senior author of the study. "Rather, our findings reinforce the concept suggested by earlier work that low-grade inflammation resulting from an altered microbiota can be an underlying cause of excess eating."

The evidence for the abominable toxicity of Round Up chemicals like glyphosate is already overwhelming, yet there seems to be a never-ending stream of research and evidence pointing toward their dangers. A new study has just been published showing that farmers in Sri Lanka exposed to glyphosate through drinking water are 5 times more likely to develop chronic kidney failure than those who don’t drink herbicide-polluted water.

Farmers in this part of the world often wear scant protection when spraying glyphosate on their rice fields, but it seems that this protection is not enough. The fact that Round Up has contaminated their drinking water is an example of how multi-tiered the problem of herbicidal toxicity truly is.

Big Ag chemicals, more specifically, biotech’s chemicals (since their GM rice, soy, corn, and other genetically altered seeds are meant to withstand copious amounts of spaying) are detrimental to humans and the environment from the moment they are sprayed to years later. In this case, the toxicity is felt when residents of small rural villages drink from wells that have contaminated ground water due to spraying.

The research abstract concludes:

“The current study strongly favors the hypothesis that CKDu epidemic among farmers in dry zone of Sri Lanka is associated with, history of drinking water from a well that was abandoned. In addition, it is associated with spraying glyphosate and other pesticides in paddy fields.”

To summarize the study, Dr. Channa Jayasumana states:

“Drinking well water and occupational exposure to Herbicides is associated with chronic kidney disease, in Padavi-Sripura, Sri Lanka.”

Simply put – but apparently not so simply solved.

Concentrations of glyphosate and metals are much higher in these abandoned wells, increasing the risk of deadly chronic kidney disease (CKDu) by up to 5-fold.

The Center for Public Integrity says fatal chronic kidney disease of unknown origin, or CKDu, has killed more people in El Salvador and Nicaragua than AIDS, diabetes, and leukemia combined over the past five years. This wave of CKDu affecting numerous poor farming countries around the world simply didn’t exist prior to 1990.

Another study published in the Journal of Organic Systems also found a link between glyphosate and the enormous increase in chronic diseases across the United States.

It has already been established, through groundbreaking research that glyphosate, the active ingredient in Monsanto’s broad-spectrum herbicide Round Up, might be “a crucially important factor in the development of multiple chronic diseases and conditions.”

This is just more confirmation that the world should ban GMOs and their chemicals as fast as possible.

For example, the Johns Hopkins Patient Guide warns the immunocompromised to "Avoid contact with children who are recently vaccinated," and to "Tell friends and family who are sick, or have recently had a live vaccine (such as chicken pox, measles, rubella, intranasal influenza, polio or smallpox) not to visit."(1)

A statement on the website of St. Jude's Hospital warns parents not to allow people to visit children undergoing cancer treatment if they have received oral polio or smallpox vaccines within four weeks, have received the nasal flu vaccine within one week, or have rashes after receiving the chickenpox vaccine or MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine.(2)

"The public health community is blaming unvaccinated children for the outbreak of measles at Disneyland, but the illnesses could just as easily have occurred due to contact with a recently vaccinated individual," says Sally Fallon Morell, president of the Weston A. Children Around the World Vaccinated at Gunpoint – Is the U.S. Heading in the Same Direction?

The Guardian is reporting that health officials in Pakistan are arresting and throwing into jail hundreds of parents who refuse to allow their children to receive the oral polio vaccine. These health officials are forcing children to receive the vaccine at gunpoint, as can be seen in the photo captured by AP photographer Mohammad Sadjad.

The Guardian reports:

Feroz Shah, a spokesman for the district administration in Peshawar, said 471 people had been imprisoned in the city and surrounding villages under government orders on charges of endangering public security.

Parents targeted by police were not arrested if they agreed to vaccinate their children, said Shakirullah Khan, a senior police officer in Peshawar.

Authorities have previously made scattered arrests for polio refusals, but such a widespread crackdown is rare.

“This is the first time such drastic action was taken,” Shah said. “This shows the determination of the government to eradicate polio.”

Just to emphasize the point here, these are parents of children who are being rounded up and thrown into jail in Pakistan. Not terrorists, not murders, not thieves, but parents who do not want their children to receive the polio vaccine.

As can be seen in the photo above, the oral polio vaccine is being given right on the street, and not in a clinic. How many times were these children forced to receive this vaccine? How would the health worker even know the vaccine history of these children? Do they have pre-existing conditions that would make the vaccine a risk to harm them?

It would seem such basic health questions could not be answered when the order is to vaccinate every child by force right on the street, with no objections allowed.

Is There a Polio “Epidemic” in Pakistan?

Last year (2014) polio made headline news because the World Health Organization (WHO) declared it was now an “epidemic” in certain parts of the world, and Pakistan was claimed to be an area especially hard hit. As usual, “anti-vaccine parents” were blamed for this world-wide “epidemic.”

So how bad was this polio “epidemic” that WHO declared in 2014? In May of 2014, when they made the announcement which was carried as headline news in most U.S. mainstream media outlets, there had been 74 cases – in the ENTIRE WORLD. 59 of those cases were in Pakistan at the time. Today, as of Feb. 25, 2015, there have been 10 cases so far worldwide, but 9 of those are in Pakistan. I could find no cases of any deaths worldwide due to polio in recent years.

Is this an “epidemic” of global proportions? Is this justification for authorities to roam the streets in Pakistan and force people by gunpoint to receive the vaccine, and throw hundreds of parents into jail if they don’t comply? The measles “epidemic” in the United States pales by comparison in terms of absurdity in using such fear tactics to justify forced vaccinations. One must ask: Who is actually profiting from this?

UNICEF, which partners with WHO for global vaccine purchases and distribution, is one of the largest purchasers of vaccines for worldwide distribution. In 2013, for example, they purchased 1.7 billion doses of the live oral polio vaccine to administer to children under the age of 5.

The Oral Polio Vaccine is Banned in Western Countries Due to Dangerous Side Effects

The oral polio vaccine is so dangerous that it is no longer used in developed countries like the U.S. But, it is mandated, purchased, and distributed in poor countries.

The real tragedy with the live oral polio vaccines is that they can cause the very thing they are supposed to be preventing: polio. Both “vaccine-associated paralytic poliomyelitis” and “non-polio acute flaccid paralysis” are known side effects of the live oral polio vaccine. It sheds the virus from the vaccine through feces and into sewers and sanitation systems. India recently achieved its “polio-free” status, but at the cost of tens of thousands of non-polio acute flaccid paralysis cases each year (see: The Vaccine Myth of “Polio-free” Status – Polio Vaccine Caused 53,000 Paralysis Victims in India Last Year.)

Doctors and researchers who understand the dangers and risks of the oral polio vaccine (OPV) have been calling for an end to this terrible vaccine for years now. An editorial appeared in the Oxford Journals Clinical Infectious Diseases periodical in 2005 titled, “When Can We Stop Using Oral Poliovirus Vaccine?” It was written by Dr. Harry F. Hull of the Minnesota Department of Health, and Dr. Philip D. Minor of the Division of Virology, National Institute for Biological Standards and Control, in the United Kingdom. They requested that the oral polio vaccine be stopped:

Why must OPV vaccination be stopped? Vaccine-associated paralytic poliomyelitis was recognized shortly after the introduction of OPV, with cases occurring in both vaccines and their contacts. The time is coming when the only cause of polio is likely to be the vaccine used to prevent it. Ample molecular data are now available to demonstrate that vaccine viruses can revert to full neurovirulence. Outbreaks of polio in China, Egypt, Haiti, Madagascar, and the Philippines caused by circulating, neurovirulent vaccine-derived polioviruses (VDPVs) demonstrate that these revertent strains are fully transmissible and pose significant population risks. Again, in 2009, an editorial was published in the Oxford Journals Clinical Infectious Diseases periodical titled, “Time for a Worldwide Shift from Oral Polio Vaccine to Inactivated Polio Vaccine“, by Dr Aamir Shahzad of the Department of Structural Biology and Biomolecular Chemistry at the University of Vienna.
He wrote:

OPV has lost its effectiveness in providing herd immunity. It seems that children are getting polio from OPV, and it also seems that OPV is proving to be ineffective in stopping polio transmission from another source. Therefore, the whole world—and especially developing countries—should shift from OPV to IPV. (Source.)

Who are the Vaccine Dissenters in Pakistan?

The pro-pharma western media in places like the U.S. like to paint vaccine-dissenters in places like Pakistan as ignorant, poor people who need to be forced into a vaccination program against their will for the “greater good” of society. However, is this actually true? Just as is the case in the U.S., researchers and health professionals are not unified in their views on vaccination policies.

Karim Khan is a freelance journalist in Pakistan who has written about the sentiment towards western pharmaceutical companies and the World Health Organization in regards to mass vaccination programs. Writing in the Express Tribune last year, one of Pakistan’s leading English language publications, he wrote:

Is it the ignorance regarding both the disease and the science of the medicine that worries critical thinkers? Yes, but more so it is the lack of freedom of questioning in a country that has effectively given itself to a form of slavery by so-called non-profit international organisations that earn millions from vaccination campaigns. The recent imposition of travel restrictions on Pakistanis as “recommended” by the World Health Organisation (WHO) are more than proof of such slavery.

Worse though is the one-sided media reporting that uses language as a tool to shape voice of dissent as “propaganda” by running headlines with terms like “anti-polio” campaigns when the questions raised are in fact directed at the safety of the vaccine claimed to be effective against polio. The important question is: are parents made aware of the risks significantly early to let them make an informed decision on vaccinating their child? What is the Future of Mandatory Vaccinations in the U.S.?

Could we see armed health officials roaming the streets of cities in the U.S. forcing children to be vaccinated against the wishes of their parents at gunpoint?

The rationale and the legal framework for such actions is actually already in place to do just that. As we reported last month (February 2015), the Department of Homeland Security is quietly stockpiling billions of dollars worth of experimental vaccines to presumably use in the case of a “national emergency.” The U.S. government has broad powers granted to them to force people to receive these vaccines by declaring an “epidemic” or “national emergency.” (See: Homeland Security Stockpiling Billions of Dollars of Experimental Vaccines.)

All across the U.S. local state legislators and health officials are moving to take away the right to informed consent regarding vaccines for children. It Americans don’t wake up soon, whether you are pro-vaccine or anti-vaccine, and stop this rush to take away individual rights and liberties, it may not be long before the photo you see at the top of this story represents what is happening in the streets of America, with thousands of parents being arrested and thrown into jail for refusing to comply with mass vaccination programs.

California Infant Dies after 8 Vaccines, Family Gets Him Back from Hospital Cremated

Parents in California are distraught after losing their infant son after being vaccinated. He died in his sleep and was taken to the hospital already deceased. Hospital staff ruled his death as sudden infant death syndrome. The couple was told an autopsy was required to be performed on their son.

After returning home, waiting to get an update, they never received one. Numerous phone calls were made to get answers. Weeks went by. Finally, they received verbal confirmation and told their son was best not to be seen prior to being cremated, because of the condition he was in. Once cremated, they could pick up the remains of their child from the crematory. They were not given the chance to say their goodbyes.

More than one year and four months have passed and the family has yet to receive his autopsy report. It turns out their son was given a vaccine not approved for his age and an extra dose of the hepatitis B vaccine that he shouldn’t have received until later on.

This harrowing story is a reminder that vaccines can be lethal. Parents shall maintain the rights to choose what medical interventions they feel are safe for their child. After all, they are the ones who have to live with the consequences.

One Less Baby Boy

“Our sweet little fussy bear Matthew Gage Downing-Powers was born healthy on April 26, 2013. In the hospital, he was given the Hepatitis B vaccine after birth. That’s what they do here in the United States and what the CDC recommends newborns receive, following the current schedule. His reactions to the shot were deemed normal and I have older children that have been fully vaccinated, so I was aware of what to expect.

I took Matthew in for his 2 month well baby checkup on July 2, 2013. During this appointment, he was given 8 vaccines for DTaP (3 in 1), Polio, Hib, Hep B, Pneumococcal PCV and the oral Rotavirus vaccine. Then I was late getting him to his 4 month checkup. I brought him as soon as I was able.

On Monday October 7, 2013, when Matthew was 5 ½ month’s old, I brought him in for his 4 month delayed visit. The doctor said they could get him caught up on his shots. I thought ok, you can do that. Matthew received 8 vaccines, DTaP, Polio, Hib, Pneumococcal, Hep B and Hep A. These would be the last vaccines he would ever receive.

After the shots, he didn’t have a fever or a low grade one. We didn’t give him Tylenol. He was just grumpy and crying some. We checked him every hour. His temperature stayed normal but he wasn’t his happy go lucky self. All my kids got grumpy after their shots.

I didn’t call the doctor on Tuesday. I knew these were typical behaviors after the kids received the vaccines. He is my 4th son. We had our other 3 vaccinated and knew what to expect.

I thought I would give it another day to see if he was still grumpy but we didn’t get to the next day. Matthew was gone by then. He was found lifeless. He went to bed that Tuesday night and my husband found him Wednesday morning.

My husband Zack and I both performed CPR on our son and so did my dad and step mom. He had some light pinkish-brown tinged mucous coming from his nose and mouth. I wasn’t willing to believe he was gone. None of us were willing to give up on him.

My husband called 911 but they were taking so long. I ran my baby to the hospital that was a 2 blocks away. I took him to Needles hospital which is called Colorado River Medical Center in Needles, CA. The hospital also did CPR on him and said he died of SIDS, soon after I brought him in. He had been gone for hours they said. They told me he passed sometime between 11 PM (after he was put to bed) and 7 AM Wednesday morning (shortly before he was found).

My life has been full of heartache since we lost our baby. That was the worst day of my life, seeing my son that way but still believing he would come back to me.

Hospital staff said I would be under investigation and it was California law when a baby passes, to undergo an autopsy. From the hospital in Needles, Matthew was transferred from that hospital to the coroner’s office, in San Bernardino, CA. We had chosen to have Matthew cremated at a funeral home in San Bernardino.

After leaving Matthew at the hospital, we were told to go home and wait for an update when the autopsy would be done. We planned to see him at the funeral home we picked out, after deciding we would have him cremated. I was told I’d be informed when the autopsy was to be done and when it would be completed and that I could view him before being cremated.

I didn’t write down the names of the staff members I left my son with. I didn’t think of that when it happened. But I should have. No one called me to inform me what was going on. I called numerous times and kept getting the runaround. Absolutely no one would give me answers.

Weeks went by before I received a call back. By this time, I was informed Matthew was not in a condition I’d want to remember him in. I felt helpless and convinced I should sign a paper letting them cremate him. Prior to this, the funeral home confirmed the remains were Matthew’s. They asked me what urn I would like and then confirmed it was him. I also sent a picture of him, to make sure.

Matthew didn’t get brought back to our home in Needles, California until November 20, 2013. A month and a half after he passed away.

I don’t think they cremated him before telling me but part of me feels they did, to cover up his death. I will never know but my instincts tell me something was being hidden. I think the funeral home did a nice job, they were very patient with me, they understood why I kept calling them so many times, to see if somebody there could tell me what happened to my son’s body.

I didn’t know where my sons body was. I didn’t know what was going on at the coroner’s office. I was never notified whatsoever and to be honest, I was really flipping out. I wanted to know what was going on with my baby and what answers did they have for me so far.

The coroner was informed of the vaccines Matthew had just received. I had even asked the coroner if it was possible the vaccines killed my son. The coroner straight lied to my face, or more, over the phone, saying that no, it was not the vaccinations that killed him.

There was only one time they contacted me and that was over how many people had done CPR on him. And that was the last time I heard from them.

I did contact him after we had received his death certificate saying pending investigation still and I asked if they had finished with his autopsy report. They told me no. I called once more and they told me that they couldn’t give me anymore information and that I would have to call the coroner’s office here in Needles, California. I have done that and still no answer, no nothing.

The coroner said it wasn’t my fault and sometimes this just happens. I couldn’t believe what I was just told.

It took me a long time to speak up and share my story because of this pain. I decided to come forward because I don’t want Matthew to die in vain because of vaccine manufacturers not doing a better job making safer vaccines, before pushing them onto unsuspecting parents and their innocent babies they view as profitable beings.

Why are infants getting so many at one time? Has it been proven it’s safe to give these kids all the vaccines they are shooting them up with during these well baby checkups? From what I’ve learned since all of this, the answer is no.

Later, I learned two of the vaccines given at his last appointment, should not have been given to him. Babies are not supposed to be given the Hepatitis A vaccine until at least 1 year of age and this was given to Matthew at 5 1/2 months old.

I also learned he was given the third dose of Hepatitis B too soon. Matthew wasn’t supposed to get that until his next visit during the 6 month checkup which would’ve also been delayed to space out the shots, because we were late getting him the 4 month vaccines.

I think it was right after the funeral I learned that they had given him the Hep A vaccine too soon. When I had learned this, it killed me. I started blaming my self and still do because I never took the time to know what vaccines were supposed be given to a child, at what month, how many doses, etc.

I felt because I didn’t do the research until after Matthew died, I was foolish and this was somehow my fault. I felt in some way this was my fault because I was late on his vaccinations. My thoughts were if I would’ve followed the CDC’s schedule and not been late to that 4 month check up, he probably would not have gotten the wrong vaccines. Now he’s gone.

I do understand he could’ve been taken sooner even if the correct vaccines were given on the schedule. It’s just something I live with.

It’s been over a year and four months since Matthew passed on October 9, 2013 and I still haven’t gotten the autopsy report that I told them I wanted a copy of. I keep getting the run around!

I went the doctor’s office recently and found out the nurse that injected Matthew is no longer working there. I was told she got fired because she didn’t know what she was doing when giving vaccines.

I said to the office if it turns out his death was because of her ignorance, I will be going after them all. My son shouldn’t have died because you guys were too lazy to train her to give vaccines properly. They didn’t even apologize to me. I’m just beyond angry at this point. I can’t wait to get my answers.

They said my baby is the only one who had passed away since she started working, until the end of her working. Who knows if that is true? There could’ve been more lives taken and they wouldn’t admit it.

I want to tell other parents, they say vaccinations are safe, but in reality, they aren’t.

Ask questions and know which vaccines they plan to give to your baby. Know the risks associated with all of the vaccines they plan to give during the checkup. And remember, it’s your choice. It’s your child. And whatever you do, don’t let them mix the vaccines into one needle or give them so many at once because if you don’t think this won’t harm your child, then look at the child I lost. It is possible.

Matthew was given DTaP, IPV, Hib, PCV, Hep B and Hep A in 3 shots, one in his right arm and two in his left leg.

Now I’m pregnant with my 5th child. I have to stay strong. I have too. I have to remain less stressed for my family and during my pregnancy. I have 3 boys, a hubby and soon my rainbow baby, all counting on me, to hold this family together.

In all honesty though, sometimes I feel so overwhelmed because I miss Matthew so much and people are so unaware how often vaccines take the lives of infants. I’m beyond angry that this has happened to my baby. And scared it can happen again with the kids I do have. And that I’ll be forced to vaccinate this unborn baby.

A bill was currently put forth by our California state politicians to take away my right to exempt my children from further vaccines due to personal beliefs. If this passes, this would take my parental right away, to choose vaccinating my children in the future. What they should do is create a new exemption for parents to file that took one for the team! We should be able to opt out for that reason alone.

Was it not enough Matthew was taken? He should be honored by these people but instead, they deny his existence by pushing bills that slap parents in the face that have lost their child to vaccines or to those parents with vaccine injured children. Maybe if they would make safer vaccines, more would want to get them.

My son was injected with 8 vaccines, if you don’t know what is in them, learn! When I did, I was shocked and mad at myself for not questioning this before. Matthew is the reason I opened my eyes, to see what vaccines can really do to a baby, let alone anyone. I’m not the only one who believes vaccines are not what they claim they are. I really hope this opens parent’s eyes who do vaccinate their children.

My older son is having a hard time, my second son said he is afraid of the shots now and my third son is 3 years old, he just knows his baby brother is gone. As for my hubby, he keeps it in, so it’s kind of hard to know what he is feeling.

To this day, I still haven’t received his autopsy report. They keep giving me the run around. So the investigation is still pending. I have filed a report with the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS). I’ve learned they sometimes don’t follow up with parents, which prevents them from reporting a reaction. Until I receive an autopsy report, it makes it difficult to file a claim with the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVICP). I feel they are stalling us because the time frame to file when you lose a child to vaccines is 2 years, it’s going on a 1 ½ years for us. We won’t give up. My son should still be here.

His shot records don’t lie! They shouldn’t cover up these reactions to vaccines these kids suffer from. They should not stifle parents from pursuing the already time consuming and deterring recourse they’ve set up, talking about the vaccine injury compensation program.

Since I looked into this more, I’ve learned how common it is for babies to die right after getting vaccinated. I just want it to be known that this can happen and I hope mothers ask questions first, before handing their child over to get shot up. How many of us moms helped hold our own child down, to keep them restrained while being vaccinated, knowing we helped them hurt our own?

Matthew’s death was a high price to pay in the name of preventing any of these diseases my kid would’ve been fine dealing with.

I didn’t believe a few people who told me this can happen, but it did. And now I have to live with that for the rest of my life, knowing I should have asked questions and researched first, before blindly agreeing to them injecting or giving him anything. I didn’t research. I didn’t question what vaccines were given to all of my children. I had no reason to distrust doctors, until now. Since this happened to Matthew, my eyes are wide open now. Now I’m not afraid to question everything that is done to my children.

It’s a parent’s decision to make, to vaccinate their child or not. Parents need to research both sides, for and against. Then make their decision on the matter. My dad told me I didn’t get sick till after I started school and had to have those required vaccines. After that, my dad never vaccinated me again. My dad said it a few times before all of this happened, but I didn’t pay attention. I wish I had listened to him.

I just let the doctors and nurses do what they said was needed. No questions asked. I thought they would tell me if there were severe risks involved. Nobody told me anything like that. I trusted them with my child’s life and would’ve liked to have known that death from vaccination is an associated risk. Why didn’t the doctors or nurse tell me this? I really wished I researched and asked questions instead of just trusting the system and doctors. And now because I didn’t, my child is gone.

There are a lot more parents out there like me. Some don’t come forward due to fact they are afraid of what people would say. Sometimes people can be really cruel and not understand what parents like me go through.

I just want his story to be told. My hubby and I say thank you to everyone lending their support. We are so blessed to have the short time we had with our little fussy bear. I hope sharing this will help mothers know it can happen.

I want it well known I’m not telling parents not to vaccinate their child. I’m simply saying to research before you vaccinate. Learn if you choose to vaccinate, then that is your choice, not someone else’s to make because you will be stuck with the consequences.

Don’t disrespect parents like me, who have lost their child to vaccines. And don’t disrespect parents of living vaccine injured children. Our rights to choose these medical interventions need to be preserved. It is beyond disturbing that bought politicians think they can choose what gets injected into our children. They don’t care about your child’s health. Clearly many are dying and getting injured from these vaccines and they turn a blind eye. That should tell you something.

I miss my baby so much. A huge part of me was taken when he was. I cannot let this happen again. I cannot put my other children at risk of being vaccine injured any longer.

Matthew took one for the team and his life didn’t matter to those wanting to strip my rights to opt out of further vaccinating. Why does he not matter? Why do mild cases involving the measles get reported all over the news, but not babies dying after getting the MMR shot or other vaccinations? Why don’t the vaccine injured children matter?

We miss and love you so much Matthew. You are always thought of every day. You are always in my heart and I will never stop loving you.

As long as vaccine manufacturers avoid doing causation studies, as long as this data doesn’t exist, health officials and published vaccine-promoting, peer-reviewed literature can state there is no proof vaccines cause SIDS or other vaccine injuries.

How can a medical examiner be sure of which vaccine caused a person’s health to decline when multiple vaccines are given at a time? Overstimulating the immune system via vaccination can lead to a fatal outcome. Since it is proven difficult to narrow down which vaccine contributed to a child’s death after vaccination, giving numerous or combination vaccines should be a concern.

Are processed foods finally on their way out?

The public doesn’t trust manufacturers like Kellogg’s and Kraft anymore. Earnings are falling, and dozens of Big Food companies’ stocks are down. One of the biggest food companies in the world, ConAgra, is even slashing its 2015 earnings projections. Is Big Food really over?

ConAgra is changing management – is it because their 2015 earnings projections are way are down and stocks took a plunge recently? The food giant owns brands like Hunts, Swiss Miss, as well as Chef Boyardee, among others. Do people really want to eat cancer-causing chemicals in a can anymore?

Kraft, the maker of Oscar Mayer deli meats, Jell-O, Maxwell House coffee, and Velveeta cheese also recently shook up top management and reported sluggish sales. Big Food company, Kellogg’s, has seen its sales plunge 5.4 percent over the past year.
Campbell’s Soup CEO has said:

“There’s a mounting distrust of so-called Big Food, the large food companies and legacy brands on which millions of consumers have relied on for so long.”

Do Americans finally realize what Yale medical researchers David Katz and Samuel Meller declared in a paper in 2013, that a “diet of minimally processed foods close to nature, predominantly plants, is decisively associated with health promotion and disease prevention.”

Eating minimally processed foods was even found to be more important than whether you are vegan or vegetarian, eat a paleo diet, or take part in any other specific diet like the ‘Mediterranean diet.’ Even eating meat, according to Katz and Meller, is O.K. as long as:

“. . . animal foods are themselves the products, directly or ultimately, of pure plant foods—the composition of animal flesh and milk is as much influenced by diet as we are.”

Big Food is simply floundering. People don’t want toxic chemicals in their beer, in their cereal, or in their milk.

Is this also why retailers like Target are doubling their organic and sustainable products, and organic food sales are expected to be over $35 million in 2015? Is this why farmers are turning to non-GMO seed, and people are turning to local food co-ops or even starting to grow their own food?

Is “American cuisine” finally going to mean something besides processed junk? It looks like Big Food is on a path to self-destruction – at least unless they make some serious alterations to keep up with what the people want. It’s about time we wised up.
