Standarisasi Metric di Papua?

Ini sudah tahun 2021 dan ternyata para pedagang di Jayapura, ibukota provinsi Papua masih menggunakan takaran yang tidak standar untuk aktivitas perdagangan mereka. Para pedagang ikan dan telur ayam di sana masih menggunakan takaran seperti rak atau tumpukan sebagai satuan penghitung komoditas dagangan mereka.

Bagaimana ini Pak Jokowi mau klaim keberhasilan pembangunan di Papua? Sementara hal yang sederhana ini saja belum bisa tercapai di ibukota salah satu provinsi terkaya di Indonesia.

Pada berita standarisasi penjualan di indonesiatimur.co itu saja, si pejabat bahkan baru mewacanakan, belum mengimplementasikannya. Jadi kapan kita bisa berharap mendapat buah yang nyata dari kerja pakde di Papua?

Mari kita renungkan bersama masalah ini.

Kompilasi video dari indonesiatimur.co ini memberikan gambaran bahwa ledakan setidaknya terjadi dua kali. Pada klip yang diambil dari jarak dekat, terlihat bahwa ledakan pertama merupakan ledakan yang jauh lebih kecil seperti ledakan petasan atau ledakan gudang peluru.

Kemudian ledakan kedua terjadi pada lokasi yang dekat dari lokasi ledakan pertama. Akibat ledakan kedua itulah yang dianggap menyebabkan hancurnya bangunan pada radius 3 km, mengambil nyawa lebih dari 100 orang dan mencederai ribuan orang lainnya.

Papuan are Indonesian

Despite of some West Papua independence movements existence in any part of the world, the fact of Papuan are Indonesian is undeniable. So many aspects we can use to indicate this. One is the fact of language that unite all Papuan tribes is Indonesian.
Of course the West Papua independence movements have their argument and I can spot one major flaw to their argument. It is their preference to adopt the discrimination policy to be implied whenever they achieved/granted their goal. Today, more than 50% of non native Papuan populates the island and they indentify themselves as Papuan. You know better that today everyone condemned racism.
Prof. Mahsun of Universitas Mataram says that Papuan genetic has more identical dna with Austronesian (Melayu) than any other family in the world. However some international activist provocate that Papuan is related to Afrikan. Fact is, even the Aborigin believe that their ancestor is Austronesian who came from Timor Island.

On the international context, the superpower already said it well..

No. I don't care who's gonna run for US of A President. Never be matter if they are Republican or Democrat and what they would do as if they like to become a President of Iraq. USA definitely not the world, nor does Malaysia
Now, I am defining the world. The world is Google helping everybody to find and to be found just about anything, including terrorist, CIA and you. Facebook challenges the regime on better framework of social interactivity, while Microsoft somehow lost. The world is platform.
Probably, TJ Murphy was only tell jokes when he say he's going to change the world with warbook. I almost convinced that the world is warbook and Google is universe.

Iraq provided an inspiring moment in sports by winning the 2007 Asian Cup with a 1-0 victory over Saudi Arabia in Sunday's final, a beacon of hope for a nation divided by war. This placed Iraq as number one in Asian Football beats other giants like South Korea, Japan and Australia.

The match itself is very symbolic since it held in Indonesia which happen to be the biggest moslem country, it also prove that football does not reflect on any political conditions (to remind you that Saudi Arabia was US alliance in latest Gulf War).

Why don't we talk about world politics, world economies, or anything international-transnational?
I have a degree in politics, International Relations Study. To be precise, it was International organization, war and peace study. My thesis was about an UN troops deployment in Bosnia Herzegovina, also the peacemaking efforts of the all other parties as well.
Probably takes some time for me to remember all those stuffs since it was not my interest for a decade. Digging old books and find some latest readings would be proper start.

what best to be first topic? Hllary vs Obama? you tell me... they are on hot seat today...

That leave me abandoning the blogger service which currently serve two blogs for me... this intendans and 10yearsfromnow. What a waste... Until today, I;m thinking about generating specific content for this intendans... some specific contents that I capable to author em and of course outside my personal context... Only I have not got a clue of what specific...

Defining Heaven

have you define yourself a heaven, lately?
I do... heaven is a state of being peace with myself thus others.

Since peace is condition required then you might be aware that there are states where peace does not present. What are those?

I like to include quotes about war and peace from two major scholars of its study. Both share a realistic view on war and peace.
first, Thomas Hobbes:
“There is always war of every one against every one. Hereby its manifest, that during the time men live without a common power to keep them all in awe, they are in that condition which is called war, and such a war, is of every man against every man. For war, consisteth not in battle only, or the act of fighting; but in a tract of time wherein the will to contend by battle is sufficiently known: and therefore the notion of time, is to be considered in the nature of war; as it is in the nature of weather. For as the nature as foul wether, lieth not in shower or two of rain; but in an inclination thereto of many days together: so the nature of war consisteth not in actual fighting; but in the known disposition thereto, during all the time thereis no assurance to contrary. All other time is peace.”

then, Johan Galtung:
“What we intend only that the terms ‘peace’ and ‘violence’ be linked to each other such that ‘peace’ can be regarded as ‘absence of violence’.”

Now, you've learn that the term peace can not be solely defined without acknowledgement of the war term. You got the whole idea is about nature.

Still, you wonder about how can we make peace with ourself...
This is my offer, a method to make peace with yourself. First, you have to find out your enemy within yourself. That is your ego. You’ll notice that it always state a contra to somewhat we called ‘peace of mind’. Most of the time, we choose to go with our ego and leave the other defeated, and then let the ego lead us to battle other person ego.
Second, practice yourself not to win your ego and make the ‘peace of mind’ spread among those who battle.
After you lose your entire ego, then you’ll find yourself in a very state of peace. That moment I defined as heaven.

How about me?
