Very Small House Built on Sloping Terrains by Sepka Architects

It’s a perfect sample of small house that built on a sloping terrains located on the outskirts of Cernin. Designed by Sepka Architects this house interior layout is based on alternating straight and sloping floor surfaces that create the overall spiraling character of the interior and define the building’s external appearance. The designer could perfectly organize the limited space into comfortable living area. The house consist of a bedroom that especially designed to store huge books collection, children bedroom with 2 beds, a kitchen, dining room, bathroom and a small living room with LCD TV. However, the use of the sloping floor on the ground floor is not purposeless – it is there on investor´s request to accommodate movie projections as a small movie theater. Windows and other openings are placed with respect of the external façade – each of the walls only has one opening. The house exterior painted with pink color that purposed for thermal and water insulation, from the outside its look cute and tiny but while you enter this house you’ll see the innovative interior design that need high level creativity to create it. Moving parts such as the puff yin yang and a platform bed that fits the social area, resolve an enviable teen room:

A room full of character. The young owner of the room, explained his tastes to the architect and jointly proposed this huge space and well-done.

The bedroom has been solved in a rectangular space of about 21 m2, so that when girlfriends had received clearance to be with them comfortably.

The work area is well defined with shelves, table glass and cork boards, glass and magnet to leave messages. Also installed an enlarged photograph of the glass.
The bed is on a wooden platform of 7.5 m2. We used the slope to give movement to the scene and by the way, providing opportunities for multiple uses, such as having an element that most sit next to puff ying yang, frames the social space. Complement the design, a glass shelves illuminated retro.

The Benefits of a Minimalist Home

I could probably go on for a while about this, but let me just list a few key benefits of Interior Minimalist: (1). Less stressful. Clutter is a form of visual distraction, and everything in our vision pulls at our attention at least a little. The less clutter, the less visual stress we have. A minimalist home is calming. (2). More appealing. Think about photos of homes that are cluttered, and photos of minimalist homes. The ones with almost nothing in them except some beautiful furniture, some nice artwork, and a very few pretty decorations, are the ones that appeal to most of us. You can make your home more appealing by making it more minimalist. (3). Easier to clean. It’s hard to clean a whole bunch of objects, or to sweep or vacuum around a bunch of furniture. The more stuff you have, the more you have to keep clean, and the more complicated it is to clean around the stuff. Think about how easy it is to clean an empty room compared to one with 50 objects in it. That’s an extreme example, of course, as I wouldn’t recommend you have an empty room, but it’s just to illustrate the difference.
