The house revolves around two main spaces, the double height foyer and the terrace. The foyer is restored and destined to become a sculptural area. The new terrace is where the family interacts and spends most part of the day. One of the main goals was to create a warm space distanced from current architectural stereotypes and trends. The wood and resin structure is enveloped by a quilted cotton duvet. The strategically placed folds add the form of arms and a headrest. WARP is a lightweight and portable side table for different opportunities designed by Oliver Schick. This table is made for LIGNE ROSET and was shown at the imm cologne 2012. It is applicable in the living room as well as in public spaces such as hotel lobbies, waiting areas but also in bars or cafés. Its shape signalises mobility and due to the integrated handle in the table plate it could be moved by the user to any place. The table´s height allows comfy working with a laptop on a couch or an easy chair and the shape of the foot frame offers plenty of legroom. via
