I have had the chance to review the report and can tell you that it contains Excellent Information on Membership Sites. Yaro shows you from his own experience how he has created a 6 figure Residual Monthly Income from his own Membership sites, and how just about anyone can do it.

He offers some very cool Strategies in the Report including:

The precise model He uses to create several $100,000+ a year memberships, formulated into an easy-to-follow method he reveals to you - for FREE

His “Low-to-No Technology” model for creating no-hassle, easy-to-run memberships you can run from anywhere in the world ( doing whatever makes you smile…)

How to do a successful ‘warm-open’ for your shiny new membership (without the arduous launch process)

Yaro’s personal ’stick strategies’ to entice your new members to stay (no more ‘catch-and-release’)

How to make as much as $1 million by selling your membership site - IF you ever decide to quit your membership cash cow (either way you win, but having the option to exit as a millionaire is just very cool!)

Grab your copy of this Free Report while you can. (You’ll Be Glad You Did!)

Hey everyone, day 3 here at Armand Morin Live in Dallas. It’s been a lot of fun. Yes I learned that I Suck! It wasn’t really surprising.

Steve Renner -with - Armand Morin

Armand is a brilliant guy, and has a way with words, and I like that he calls it like it is. You don’t have enough people opting into your list, your web site doesn’t convert, YOU SUCK!

Covered some great Google Advertising strategies yesterday and watched Armand create a product live. Today he will edit the product will be up for sale here by next week. I think he is calling it, “Google Ad Secrets“. Now that’s the way to do it, Dream It Up, Take Massive Action, and Make It Happen.

Using Google Adwords is probably the most powerful Traffic Getting Strategy there is, and there is a lot of people out there teaching it, but Armand doesn’t just teach this stuff, he is actually out doing it on a daily basis.

One of the biggest things I got from this weekend was how Armand interacts with people, and how they react to him. He has a down to earth, easy going style that people can really relate to.

We had a little networking party last night and I have met some very cool people here in Dallas from as far off as UK and Australia, who came in specially for this training event. That is very cool! I may have picked up some new iNetGlobal Consultants.

One recurring theme I picked up is that most people here already have a business, but are just getting started online, and looking for some direction.

I see the hunger that people have for Internet Marketing knowledge, is insatiable. And this is just the tip of the iceberg, there has to be 1,000 of other people out there who are hungry for this knowledge.

There has never been a better time to be involved in the Internet, it’s easier than ever to get out and build your own online business, even if YOU SUCK!

You are doing it right now, whether you know it or not. Social Networking, is Network Marketing, only you don’t get paid for it.

Do you post on Twitter, have Facebook Friends, or a MySpace page, interact with other members there, this is Networking. InterNetwork Marketing, is really the same thing, Network with your friends and associates on the Internet. The Key is, at the end of the day you Make Money.

Internetwork Marketing - The Key To Making Money Online

Here is a little background on Network Marketing or MLM
- in case you are not too familiar with the concept.

Earlier network distributors were those people who were recruited by their friends, colleagues or family folks. They were provided a distributor start up kit by their sponsor and became an independent multi level dealer. The only advice that the sponsor gave was to get as many people in the downline as quickly possible.

The main incentive with multi-level marketing/network marketing home business is the residual income to be made from getting commissions from everything that your distributors under you sells. MLM was big business before the Internet came along and it’s one of the biggest industries today because of it.

The reasons for MLM’s growth are the new age marketing strategies. Earlier the market strategies involved talking to everyone about the opportunities offered by your company. However, this meant that some people listened and some people did not since not everyone is interested in being a network marketer.

So, after alienating almost your entire family about your network marketing home business, you would then call people you had never even met before from lead sheets. Cold calling strangers throughout the day to get new distributors under you either made you tough or you would eventually fold your hand and give it all up.

Let’s face it, not everyone is going to share your vision or enthusiasm with network marketing. But, now since MLM has became an online business, everything changed…

The phrase “Network Marketing and Home Business” takes on an entirely different meaning. Today, there are hundreds if not thousands of MLM companies that use the Internet. These companies usually have hundreds of thousands of marketers that are making incredible amounts of money. This income coming from MLM marketing has allowed many independent distributors to have a continuous flow of money, alowing them to quit their Day Jobs and enjoy a whole new lifestyle.

The MLM industry has exploded online because more people than ever before can safely shop online and get products from the independent distributors.

The network marketing home business model has begun to attract many individuals into becoming distributors because they are their own bosses and all work can be done from the computer. This allows a great sense of independence. One of the main advantages of online marketing is that marketers can really target those who are interested in the company and those who will take business opportunities.

Internet marketing techniques allow the network marketing home business owner to get targeted traffic that is interested in the product and the opportunity. No longer do you have to cold call prospects from lead sheets that are old and recycled. Online, you can reach hundreds of thousands of people to market all over the world, 24/7, without ever having to even leave your house!

Another advantage concerning the network marketing home business is that the business really is a network of other people you are constantly working with online. You can sponsor hundreds of others in your downline and are able to stay in touch with everyone over the Internet. You can have daily, weekly meetings with your company and downline to insure that everyone is updated and on the same page with campaigns, etc.

A new entrant who has become a distributor under you can be taught the marketing techniques by examples of other people’s success and marketing methods employed. The tools and methods are simple enough to learn. It will just be a matter of few days till your downline distributor starts generating his or her targeted traffic.

The advantages of the network marketing as a home business has never been more appealing than it is right now. It is a multi-billion dollar industry that just keeps growing. There has never been a better time to get involved and start your own Home Based Internetwork Marketing Business!

www.V-Local.com is a service that is at the right place at the right time for Local Business Advertisers. In a recent article eMarketer details US Online Business Advertising:

The Internet’s share of total media ad spending is rising by at least 1 percentage point every year—for two reasons: Marketers are spending more on Internet ads, and less on ads in traditional media.

The US Ad Spending report analyzes the shifts in the media landscape due to changing usage patterns, economics and technology.

The media spending shifts predate the recession, but the current economy reinforces the new advertising models and makes them more permanent.

Digital marketing offers compelling benefits, especially for cash-conscious companies. Marketers can more readily measure the results of Internet advertising than with most traditional media. This produces more-efficient advertising and higher ROI, which in turn pushes traditional media to compete with lower pricing.

eMarketer projects that the online share of ad dollars will continue to grow, rising from nearly 10% this year to slightly more than 15% in 2013.

This is good news for iNetGlobal Marketing Consultants (MC’s). As a leader in Online Business Advertising iNetGlobal delivers quality traffic for business at an extremely affordable cost.

OK so what’s with the Kick on Twitter lately? Well, I’m starting to see Twitter as a powerful networking tool.

You can tap into huge networks of people you would not normally come in contact with. The overlap in your target circle of influence into other circles, it’s amazing. Still working out the concept!

So what kind of people are there on twitter? Found a cool article on Mashable on what else > Twitter. Check out this article by:

Lon S. Cohen is a writer and Director of Communications at @ALSofGNY. He is @obilon on Twitter…

There are plenty of strategies for approaching Twitter. It’s getting more complex each day, but in the end it can be boiled down to a few simple approaches.

From Twittering on behalf of yourself to Twittering for a company, playing the part of a classic character to being a robot, here are seven ways users approach Twitter.

Find out more - Read on …

1. You are yourself

You are on Twitter for the community, the knowledge you get and give, and the sharing of resources - whether it’s for professional or purely personal reasons. Twitter is your communication device.

I can go on all day providing examples of people who Twitter for their own enjoyment or just business networking but not specifically to promote anything or anyone in particular. Here are a few of my favorites that I follow:

@john_hunter - He’s a writer from England who frequently just tweets what’s on his mind.

@MaryKnudson - A professor from a prominent school who really just enjoys having good conversations and sometimes helping people get connected.

@amykchulik - The best friendships on Twitter came from out of the blue. @amychulik and I have been tweeting for months on a number of subjects and I can’t remember for the life of me how we connected. I’m just glad we did.

@jpage - She’s a twenty-something online marketer here just for sharing and networking. We used to work together and barely got out of there alive, but we survived to tweet another day.

2. You have a personal brand

You might use Twitter under an assumed or enhanced personality and stick to a strategic plan. It’s not necessarily as insidious as it sounds, it’s just that you are your own business and you need to promote it in a certain way, with a certain angle. You pay close attention to the things you say so they align with how you want the public to perceive you, and even in times when you share personal information it only goes to further the identity you’ve fostered online.

Whatever the reason you tweet, at the end of the day, it’s to sell yourself as an expert in a particular field or to promote your products and services. Some people’s true online personalities are so unique and so attached to what they do they become unintentional personal brands.

@garyvee - I can’t go a day without imagining Gary jumping up and down in one of his videos telling me that I’m so totally awesome. Is it live? Or is it Vaynerchuk?

@BadAstronomer - Before he was on Twitter, he was a one-man brand, defying Moon landing deniers and shedding light on myths about the universe. He’s still up to his old tricks.

@henican - He’s a Newsday columnist and a Fox News political analyst and a Talk Radio Network host and… A Cartoon Network voice? His tweets are high concept mini-columns that perfectly capture his sensibilities, his humor and his voice.

3. You work for a corporate brand

You Twitter for a company that has its own history and values. Your own personality or interests rarely if ever leak into the Twitter feed, and usually it’s only if they are perfectly aligned to the brand’s strategy.

For example, you might talk and share opinions about social media itself but you’d stay far away from political discussions. Your main intent on Twitter is to advance the culture, the message and the products and services of the company that employs you. Your personality may be of a spokesperson, a brand name or even a remotely controlled rover on the fourth planet from the sun.

@shirleybrady - She’s the BusinessWeek.com community editor and a little bit of an exception to the rule. But for the most part she’s all business.

@ScottMonty - Less an exception to the rule, Scott, head of social media at Ford Motor Company generally stays on track when it comes to tweeting about Ford vehicles.

@comcastcares - As Director of Digital Care Frank Eliason’s job is to make you feel that a big cable company can be touchy-feely and your problems do matter to them.

4. You’re a fictional character or dead historical person

You are a real person but your Twitter account is entirely dedicated to promoting a character in a story, tweeting as someone from history or as a new character created just for Twitter.

@R2D2 - As the original tweeter, R2D2 is one half of the most famous robotic duo in the universe. After saving the galaxy from the evil Empire, he’s just building his network and tweeting about the old times with the Skywalker family.

@cdarwin - Charles Darwin was the 19th Century naturalist who turned the world on its ear with his book “The Origin Of Species,” proposing that random mutations and natural selection were the drivers of the diversity of life on earth.

@GeneHunt - He’s gruff, he’s offensive and he degrades women. He’s also on Twitter. @GeneHunt is the Twitter persona of Detective Chief Inspector Gene Hunt, a character in the UK version of Life on Mars and the spin-off Ashes to Ashes.

@joan_holloway - Somehow a sexy office manager from an ad agency from more than four decades ago has embraced Twitter. And I’m not all that upset about it. Joan Halloway is a character from the wildly entertaining show Mad Men that takes a look at the culture of ad agencies and relationships between men and women in the 1960s.

5. You’re literature

Even more specific is exclusively Twittering out a story or some poetry or something of the like. Some have tried to use it as a true publishing platform 140-characters at a time, either with short stories that fit within a tweet or as an ongoing series of tweets that will make up a longer piece.

@smallplaces - A novel entirely on Twitter called “Small Places” written by N. L. Belardes.

@twitterfiction - Original works of 140-character fiction. Like a publishing company on Twitter, they take submissions for original work to tweet.

@arjunbasu - It’s not easy to put so much irony and wit into 140-character short stories, but he does it. Called “twisters,” they always have some sort of twist in the end.

6. You are a robot

You are not really a person at all. You are a bot. I’m a science fiction fan. I’m all for the rights of robots and all that, but in the world we live in bots are not exactly the highly developed neural networks that will eventually take over the world as predicted by the Singularity or the Terminator series of films. For now, if you just use Twitter to promote content that is produced elsewhere and that process is automated, then you just might be a robot.

@NYTimes - All the news that’s fit to Tweet. Yeah, I said it.

@CNN - Cable news channel embracing and succeeding on Twitter.

@Newsweek - A national magazine trying to reinvent itself. Stories are fed into a Twitter stream.

7. You’re a blend

Like most things in life, Twitter is not black and white. Many Twitterers are a blend of the above designations. I think that Twitter is more fun when people mix it up a little, putting a personal and relaxed conversational tone to their stream even if they are there to promote a brand, whether it’s personal or corporate.

The Twitter Effect

Twitter is a Micro-Blogging platform, where people can send short messages to each other or just post them to the entire group. It is integrates with your Cell Phone so you can text. It’s a great way for people to stay in touch, with their friends, business associates, fans, etc.

Twitter is a social site and has quickly developed it’s own sense of community, and a language all it’s own. (similar to other communities like ebay)

Seems like the name of the game is how many followers you have. Having been on Twitter for some time, I have recently seen a sharp increase in the number of people following me. I don’t really care, as I kind of do my own thing anyway.

I did follow Britney Spears for a while just for fun, and started getting a lot of young girls following me, so I quickly unfollowed her.

I try to stay mostly in my own niche, in the people I follow, although, I am starting to see the possibility to tap into different networks.

This is very exciting.

I appreciate content, and an exchange of ideas, more than a bunch of marketers all trying to sell each other something!

By the way check out this Hot New Product blah, blah… (just kidding)

One of the challenges of Internet Marketers is creating effective sales copy. This article will show you How To Create A Sales Letter.

Copywriting requires Skill and Talent.Good copywriters can earn a Boatload of money for what they do. Coprwriting is Salesmanship in print, and works for you 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

An example comes to mind, Mike Filsaime said he recently paid Ray Edwards $25,000 to watch one of his Video Seminars and turn it into a Report.

Good Copywriters like Michel Fortin and John Carlton can get up $25,000 and more for a single sales letter, plus a percentage of the sales.

A good sales letter will make you a truckload of money and is worth every penny it cost to have it written. But what if you are on a limited budget, and can’t afford to hire a copywriter?

Writing your own effective sales copy is not as difficult as you may think, as long as you have a proven template, and formula to follow. Here is an article which outlines a 12 Step (Not AA) formula for writing effective Sales Copy!

By: David Frey - Contributing Author

12-Step Foolproof Sales Letter Template

You don’t have to be an award-winning copywriter to create effective sales letters. In fact, writing great sales letters is more of a science than an art. Even the pros use proven “templates” to create sales letters that get results. The following is a 12-step template for writing foolproof sales letters.
Overcoming the Hurdles Leading to Buying Resistance

Every person has some form of buying resistance. The objective of your sales letter should be to overcome your reader’s buying resistance while persuading them to take action. I liken writing a sales letter to running a steeplechase foot race. The first one to the finish line who has jumped over all the hurdles is the winner, or in this case, gets the sale.

Whether you’re giving a sales presentation in person or on paper, the process of overcoming the hurdles leading to buying resistance are much the same. These hurdles are manifested in many spoken and unspoken customer comments such as:

1. “You don’t understand my problem”
2. “How do I know you’re qualified?”
3. “I don’t believe you”
4. “I don’t need it right now”
5. “It won’t work for me”
6. “What happens if I don’t like it?”
7. “I can’t afford it”

Results-oriented sales letters will need to address some or all of these objections to be effective. The 12-step sales letter template is designed to overcome each of these objections in a careful, methodical series of copywriting tactics. The 12 steps are:

1. Get attention
2. Identify the problem
3. Provide the solution
4. Present your credentials
5. Show the benefits
6. Give social proof
7. Make your offer
8. Inject scarcity
9. Give a guarantee
10. Call to action
11. Give a warning
12. Close with a reminder

Each of these 12 steps add to reader’s emotions while calming their fears.

Motivation Is An Emotional Thing

It’s important to remember that people are motivated to buy based on their emotions and justify their purchase based on logic only after the sale. This means that each step in the sales letter process must build on the reader’s emotions to a point where they are motivated to take action.

That being true - - there are only two things that truly motivate people and they are the promise of gain or the fear of loss. Of the two, the fear of loss is the stronger motivator.

Think about it.

Would you rather buy a $50 course on “How to Improve Your Marriage” or “How to Stop Your Divorce or Lover’s Rejection?” I have empirical data that proves that the second title outsells the first 5 to 1. Why? Because it addresses the fear of loss.

Underlying the promise of gain and the fear of loss are seven “universal motivations” to which everyone responds. Whatever product or service you are selling you need to position it so that its benefits provide one or more of these universal motivations.

1. To be wealthy
2. To be good looking
3. To be healthy
4. To be popular
5. To have security
6. To achieve inner peace
7. To have free time
8. To have fun

Ultimate motivations are what people “really” want. The product or service is just a vehicle to providing these benefits so make sure your sales letter focuses on these motivational factors.

The 12-Step Sales Letter System

Now that we know what impedes a person to buy and what motivates a person to action let’s review the 12 elements of a winning sales letter.

1. Get Attention

Assuming the reader has opened your envelope, the next step is to get their attention. The opening headline is the first thing that your reader will look at. If it doesn’t catch their attention you can kiss your letter goodbye. People have a very short attention span and usually sort their mail over the wastebasket. If the headline doesn’t call out to them and pique their interest, they will just stop and throw your letter away.

The following are three headline generating templates that are proven to get attention.

“HOW TO _____________________”

People love to know how to do things. When combined with a powerful benefit the “How to” headline always gets people’s attention. In fact, they’re probably the two most powerful words you can use in a headline.

“SECRETS OF _________________ REVEALED!”

People always want to know “insider secrets.” We love to know things that other people aren’t privy to. Knowledge is power and those who have it feel powerful. Besides that, most of us enjoy a good mystery, especially in the end when the “secret” is revealed.

WARNING: DON’T EVEN THINK OF ___________ UNTIL YOU ___________.

Remember that people are motivated by fear of loss more than the promise of gain? Well, the “warning” headline screams fear. The word “warning” demands attention and combined with something of interest to the reader, is a very powerful headline.

2. Identify the Problem

Now that you have your reader’s attention you need to gain their interest by spelling out their problem and how it feels to have that problem. The reader should say to himself, “Yeah, that’s exactly how I feel” when they read your copy. In fact, you shouldn’t stop there. Pretend that it’s an open wound that you’re rubbing salt into.

This technique is called, “problem agitate.” You present the problem then agitate it so that they really feel the pain and agony of their situation. People are such strong creatures of habit that we rarely change our ways unless we feel great amounts of pain. In fact, companies are no different. Most businesses trudge along doing the same old thing until things get so bad that they have to make a change.

For example, if you were selling garage door openers you might agitate the problem by telling a short story about what happens when it doesn’t work.

“There’s nothing worse than getting home in the evening and not having your garage door open. It’s dark outside and after tripping on the porch step you search for your front door key.

Finally, you find it only to scratch your new front door up trying to find the keyhole. Exhausted, you get inside and plop down on the couch just when you remember your car is still running in your driveway….”

In this scenario the problem was a faulty garage door opener and the agitation is all the terrible things that happen because of the faulty garage door opener.

3. Provide the Solution

Now that you’ve built your readers interest by making them feel the pain it’s time to provide the solution. This is the part of the sales letter where you boldly stake your claim that you can solve the reader’s problem.

In this section you will introduce yourself, your product and/or your service. Relieve the reader’s mind by telling them that they there’s no need to struggle through all their problems because your product or service will solve it for them.

4. Present your Credentials

In most cases, after you have introduced yourself and your product or service your reader is thinking, “Yeah, sure he can fix my problem. That’s what they all say.” So now it’s important to hit them right away with the reason why you can be trusted.

List your credentials including any one of the following:

1. Successful case studies.
2. Prestigious companies (or people) you have done business with.
3. The length of time you’ve been in your field of expertise
4. Conferences where you have spoken
5. Important awards or recognitions

Your reader should get the impression after reading this section that “you’ve been there and done that” with great success and that the reader can expect the same results.

5. Show the Benefits

Now it’s time to tell the reader how they will personally benefit from your product or service. Don’t make the common mistake of telling all about the features of your product without talking about the benefits. As I already stated, people are interested, not so much in you, or even your product or service, but what it will do for them.

Get a piece of paper and draw a line down the center of the paper. Now write all the features of your product or service on the left. Think about the obvious benefits and not-so-obvious benefits of the each feature and write them down on the right side of the paper. Most of the time your product will have hidden benefits that people won’t naturally think of.

For example, a hot tub not only soothes and relaxes your muscles but it also gives you an opportunity to talk to your spouse without interruptions. The hidden benefit is greater communication with your spouse and ultimately a better marriage!

Bullet point each benefit to make it easier to read. Think about every possible benefit your reader may derive from your product or service. In many cases, people will buy a product or service based on only one of the benefits you list.

6. Give Social Proof

After you’ve presented all your benefits the reader will again begin to doubt you, even though they secretly want all your claimed benefits to be true. To build your credibility and believability present your reader with testimonials from satisfied customers.

Testimonials are powerful selling tools that prove your claims to be true. To make your testimonial even more powerful include pictures of your customers with their names and addresses (at least the city and state).

You might even ask if you can use their phone number. Most readers won’t call but it is a powerful statement to include their complete contact information. It demonstrates that you are real and so are the testimonials.

7. Make Your Offer

Your offer is the most important part of your sales letter. A great offer can overcome mediocre copy but great copy cannot overcome a mediocre offer. Your offer should be irresistible. You want your reader to say to themselves, “I’d be stupid not to take advantage of this deal.”

Your offer can come in many different formats. The best offers are usually an attractive combination of price, terms, and free gifts. For example, if you were selling a car your offer might be a discounted retail price, low interest rate, and a free year of gas.

Hint: When developing your offer you should always try to raise the value of your offer by adding on products or services rather than lowering your price. Include vivid explanations of the benefits of the additional products or services you are offering in order to raise the perceived value of your offer.

8. Give a Guarantee

To make your offer even more irresistible you need to take all the risk out of the purchase. Remember, that people have a built-in fear that they are going to get ripped off. How many times have you purchased a product and got stuck with it because the merchant wouldn’t give your money back?

Give the absolute strongest guarantee you are able to give. If you aren’t confident enough in your product or service to give a strong guarantee you should think twice about offering it to the public.

In reality, almost all small businesses already have a very strong guarantee, but don’t realize it! If you had an irate customer that wanted their money back would you just say, “No, I’m sorry. I will not give your money back?” Probably not. If they insist on getting their money back, in most cases you’ll give it back to them.

You see, most businesses already have a strong guarantee and don’t hold it up and trumpet it for fear that a lot of people would take them up on it. That’s simply doesn’t happen. When was the last time you asked for a full refund on something? If you’re like me, it’s been a while.

Here is an example of a guarantee that I give for one of my products:

* * “100%, No Questions Asked, Take-It-To-The-Bank Guarantee” * *

I personally guarantee if you make a diligent effort to use just a few of the techniques in this course, you’ll produce at least $4,490 profit in the next 12 months. That’s right, $4,490 extra profit you never would have seen without this course. If you don’t, I’ll refund the entire cost of the course to you.

Actually, you get double protection. Here’s how. At any time during the 12 months, if you sincerely feel I fell short in any way on delivering everything I promised, I’ll be happy to give you a complete refund. Even if it’s on the last day of the twelfth month!

This guarantee extends for an entire year and that they will receive specific benefits (in this case it’s money). It they don’t get what they expect, they get their money back with no questions asked. This virtually eliminates all the risk for the buyer.

Hint: Your offer may be so good that people won’t believe it. You’ve heard the old axiom, “If it’s too good to be true, it probably is.” To avoid this thinking, give the reason why you can give such as great offer. For example, you might have goofed when ordering inventory and now you’re overstocked and that’s why you can offer such a great price. When people read the reason why, it will help them reconcile your irresistible offer in their mind and make it more believable.

9. Inject Scarcity

Most people take their time responding to offers, even when they are irresistible. There are many reasons why people procrastinate on investing in a solution. The following are just a few:

They don’t feel enough pain to make a change
They are too busy and just forget
They don’t feel that the perceived value outweighs your asking price
They are just plain lazy
To motivate people to take action they usually need an extra incentive. Remember when I said that people are more motivated to act by the fear of loss rather than gain? That’s exactly what you are doing when you inject scarcity into your letter.

When people think there is a scarce supply of something they need they usually rush to get some of it. You can create a feeling of scarcity by telling your reader that either the quantity is in limited supply or that your offer is valid for only a limited time period.

Your offer could sound something like this:

“If you purchase by (future date) you will get the entire set of free bonuses”

Or

“Our supply is limited to only 50 (product or service) and will be sent to you on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. After they are gone there won’t be any more available.”

Or

“This offer is only good until (future date) after which the (product or service) will return to its original price.”

One word of caution: If you make an offer you need to live up to it. If you go back on your word after the deadline date you will begin to erode the trust and confidence your customers have come to expect from you.

10. Call to action

Do not assume that your reader knows what to do to receive the benefits from your offer. You must spell out how to make the order in a very clear and concise language. Whether its picking up the phone and making the call, filling out an order form, faxing the order form to your office etc…. you must tell them exactly how to order from you.

Your call to action must be “action-oriented.” You can do this using words like ‘Pick Up the Phone and Call Now!” or “Tear Off the Order Form and Send It In Today!” or “Come to Our Store by Friday and …” Be explicit and succinct in your instructions.

Plant your call to action throughout your letter. If you are asking the reader to call your free information line then perhaps some of the testimonials might say, “When I called their free information line” or in your offer you might say, “When you call our free information line…” Then when you give the call to action at the end of the letter, people won’t be surprised or confused. It will be consistent with what you said all throughout your letter.

11. Give a Warning

A good sales letter will continue to build emotion, right up to the very end. In fact, your letter should continue to build emotion even after your call to action. Using the “risk of loss” strategy, tell the reader what would happen if they didn’t take advantage of your offer. Perhaps they would continue to:

- Struggle day to day to make ends meet - Work too hard just to get a few customers - Lose the opportunity to receive all your valuable bonuses - Keep getting what they’ve always got - Watch other companies get all the business - Etc.

Try to paint a graphic picture in the mind of the reader about the consequences of not taking action now. Remind them just how terrible their current state is and that it just doesn’t have to be that way.

12. Close with a Reminder

Always include a postscript (P.S.). Believe it or not, your P.S. is the third most read element of your sales letter. I’ve seen good copywriters use not just one postscript, but many (P.P.S). In your postscript you want to remind them of your irresistible offer. If you’ve used scarcity in your sales letter, include your call to action then remind them of the limited time (or quantity) offer. It sounds like a simple step but postscripts get noticed.

Voila! You now have a powerful sales letter. Using this 12-step formula anyone can write an effective sales letter that sells. The following are a few extra tips to help you write an even better sales letter:

Tip #1: Write the Features/Benefits The biggest hurdle to writing a great sales letter is just getting started. Many people have a fear of writing. One way to get your letter started and develop a helpful guide for your letter is to write a feature/benefit list.

Take a set of 3 x 5 cards and write all the features you know about on one side of the cards. Then turn the cards over and write a benefit for each feature. You’ll have started your letter and produced a list of benefits you can use to write it.

Tip #2 Once you have completed the letter, let it sit for a day or so. This will allow you to be more objective you when you edit your letter. If you’ve just spent the last few hours working on it you will find it hard to catch the mistakes or edits in the letter because you’re just too close to it.

Tip #3 Develop a “swipe file” to help get your creative juices flowing. When you see a great ad or receive a particularly effective letter in the mail, keep it in a file that you can refer back to again and again. Companies pay thousands of dollars to develop their marketing materials; you might as well take advantage of that by using it as a model for your own work.

Tip #4 Before you start writing your sales letter, develop a customer profile sheet by documenting every thing you know about your target customer. Some great copywriters put a picture of a typical customer in front of them as they write to help them remember to whom they are writing the letter.

Tip #5 I often get the question, “How long should my sales letter be?” and my answer is, “As long as it needs to be.” Each part of your sales letter should be building your case. If it takes ½ page to build your case then that’s how long your letter should be; however, I use a 24-page sales letter to successfully sell one of my products.

Most anyone can write a powerful Sales Letter by just following this simple 12-step process. Make sure that you include each of the steps because each step builds your case in a unique way and adds to the reader’s emotions.
