So you want to get free advertising, traffic and back links from the multitude of social networks out there but you don't know which to use and what to do. Hopefully today you'll learn a few useful tips to boost your profile and maximize the buzz of social networks.

Where To Start?

Digg is hard to use unless you've been around a while. It's top users really flex their collective muscle when it comes to dominating the front page. That doesn't mean you shouldn't add your articles - Not at all - Adding your articles to Digg, making tons off friends and testing the water is well worth it. Chances are you WON'T make the front page, but if you do......traffic jackpot.

Propeller is fast to use, which means you can get in and out with much fuss, so I highly recommend adding your link there.

Stumble Upon is nowhere near as good as it was and you have to stumble a ton of site to get and credibility. You should add your profile and your blog/site, but don't expect the promise you may hear.

Reddit is pretty good and low effort so definitely give it a try.

Delicious is a little bit of a pain - The tool bar you have to download is annoying and the whole submission process could be handled better, but if your site gets buzz from delicious then it will all be worth the fuss.

The key to the major sites is to make friends, comment on articles and be positive. You will get reciprocal votes, as long as you appear genuine and give someone a value of sorts.

Twitter - Here is a little trick for twitter to get an extra "dofollow" link. You get to add your website or blog, but if you stick your site url in your bio entry, you'll get an extra "dofollow" link. A nicve little bonus.

Using Myspace and Facebook - These two can be useful as you just upload your links on your profile and add friends galore. People who follow you on Social Networks have a greater trust for you and therefore your site or blog, making preselling easier. The slot machine chat room on Facebook is a great way to find new friends to add.Qassia is relatively new, but a lot of smart people are using it to get backlinks (pr5) to there websites. With Qassia, you add articles and get rewarded with a "dofollow" backlink and Qassia "cash".

Qassia Cash can be used to advance you link positions and there is talk that it will be able to be used to purchase advertising. I find Qassia the easiest source of "dofollow" backlinks available.

Pligg SitesThese mini "Digg" sites are worth a mention as they when used properly , help you build up some nice little traffic. Pligg sites are Digg clones and as such are easy to submit and vote on. They a much smaller so they won't get you anywhere near as much traffic, but because they are small they are easier to dominate and make the front page.

Just like the big social bookmarking networks, Pligg sites work by you submitting a link and then others vote on it. You can add friends and get more votes, which is always a good strategy.

The best Pligg based sites are Topstumbles, DropJack and StuffDaily.

Using these can help get you the extra traffic boost you want to take your "numbers" to the next level.

Superior business leader and American investor Warren Buffett is often called “Oracle of Omaha” or the “Sage of Omaha” and philanthropist. (Wikipedia, 2007) Buffett is the CEO, and the biggest shareholder of the Berkshire Hathaway Company. Buffett’s has an estimated current net worth of approximately $52 billion in US funds. Forbes Magazine ranks Buffett the third richest person in the world in September 2007 behind Carlos Slim and Bill Gates. Warren Buffett is known for his economical and plain lifestyle. Buffett still lives in the same Omaha, Nebraska house that he purchased in 1958 for $31,500 with a current value of $700,000. In 1989, Buffett spent $9.7 million of the Berkshire’s funds on a corporate jet. He jokingly named it “The Indefensible” because of his past criticisms of such purchases by other CEOs. (Wikipedia, 2007) Warren Buffett decided to make a commitment to give his fortune to charity back in June 2006. Buffett’s charity donation is approximately $30 billion, which is the largest donation in the history of the United States. The donation was enough to more than double the size of the foundation with 83% of it going to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Buffett believed that his family had enough money to get started in life so Buffett decided to give his fortune to charity. Buffett’s annual salary in 2006 was only $100,000. In 2007, Buffett was listed among Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World. (Wikipedia, 2007) What makes Warren Buffett a good business leader? This is what everyone wants to know because Warren buffet is so successful. It all starts with leadership. Warren buffet is a true leader where his leadership makes a difference in the world. Leadership is very much related to change and Warren Buffett has the capabilities of leadership change to fit the changing world.

Warren Buffett has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to map read in the irregular waters of change. Is Warren Buffett born a leader? The authors of this paper believe not. Experience and research has shown little evidence that an individual who comes to power is a “born leader.” Warren Buffett took the falls that any other leader has to take. Warren Buffett learned from his mistakes and turned his mistakes into a positive thing. Mr. Buffett’s continual approach of analyzing both possible investment choices, market trends, and the ability to place management resources of the right caliber in the right position has consistently brought this investor to the forefront amongst peers and the marketplace. At the core of every sound investor is a creative innovator. Innovation demands creativity. Creativity in turn draws on our cognitive faculties, across the full amplitude from emotion to reason. In the number-heavy world of global investing, innovative thinking is critical. Innovative investors decipher future trends, spot likely winners by combining science (financials) with art (acuity and perception) and continuously mitigate risk. They assess user needs, product features, the proper deployment of money, professional organizational structures and risk management. Despite over 50 years of growth, Mr. Buffett always adheres to one of the most basic business principles: “…only compete where you have a competitive advantage.

Warren Buffett refers to staying within your circle of competence. Social psychologists tell us, though, that we are prone to overconfidence when it comes to assessing our abilities…” (Arthridge, 2006) A man of Warren Buffett’s position and track record could easily be derailed to a sense of over confidence. The principle of only competing within your range of competitive advantage is a principle that can be applied to many other areas in life, and Mr. Buffett’s ability to work and live by this idea has allowed him to continue forward with minimal bruising. By establishing the previous examples, the authors can reinforce the principles of cognitive theory in that Mr. Buffett behavior patterns are clearly dictated by thought processes, which include interpretation, analysis, and foresight. “As experiences and events gain meaning and value, the process becomes increasingly top down as the mind in (a) attempt at an orderly process influences perception though beliefs, goals and external process” (Gardener, 2007) Warren Buffett’s is a self empowered leader, because he is loyal, sets goals, plans a strategy for achievement, and stays committed until he accomplishes his purpose.

Up to date, he is the greatest stockbroker of all-time. He is a very conservative investor that prefers to invest in companies that sell name brand products that he uses. For example, Coca-Cola, Gillette Razors, See’s Candy, Gulfstream Jet, and GEICO are the major companies he invested in. In the nineties his assets quadrupled in less than five years. He is a smart investor that usually does not take big investment risks. For example, he will not invest in internet stock, because the return is unpredictable. He likes to invest in companies that he is sure will be successful 20 years later. He buys the company with the intentions of keeping it forever. Usually, the management team of each company is the same staff that sold it Warren Buffett from the beginning. He stays loyal to his partners, and the team workstheir best to keep him happy. After Warren Buffett’s wife died, he decided to donate 85% of his money to charity. However, “he wants his money to be used the same year he donates it”.(Harris, 2006) The requirement will accelerate the process to help the world. According to Fortune magazine, five-sixths of his money will go to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. This foundation which focus on finding cures for diseases that are common in poor nations. The rest of the money will be split among four other charities, that are each run by his three children and one that is in his late wife’s name. Warren Buffett is not a huge spender. In fact, he still lives in the same house he bought 40 years ago. Warren “told ABC News “Nightline” that being born into wealth did not entitle his children”(Harris, 2006).

In addition, he told Fortune magazine that, “A very rich person would leave his kids enough to do anything, but not enough to do nothing.”(Harris, 2006) In other words, he wants his children to work earn their money and value hard work and smart choices. In the year 2006, Warren’s first annual donation to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation was $1.5 billion and the rest was divided among the four charities. He was the first person to make a donation better than Bill Gates, the richest man in the world. It seems as if Bill Gates and Warren Buffett set a good example and lead others to be more generous, because now the Barron Hilton has committed to donating half of his fortune to charity also. Barron Hilton is the founder of the Hilton Hotels and is worth $2.3 billion. Hopefully, a trend started among the fortunate to give to the less fortunate. The personality of Warren Buffett ties to the Social Cognitive Level, because he tries to understand and make sense of other people. He observes the differences in social knowledge when dealing with people. Social cognition refers to making sense of ourselves, others, and how the information is used. In the sixties and seventies Albert Bandura and Walter Mischel were psychologists, studying personality development. They found that social learning and cognitive principles improve ones abilities to self-regulate and to follow goals. Warren investment choices were successful, because he conditioned his the way he processed information, choices, and expectations.

The majority of Americans have errors and other unverifiable information on their credit reports that could be dragging down their credit score. Odds are good that your credit score is lower than it should be. The unfortunate thing is that odds are you will be yet another one of the millions of Americans who will continue to suffer with an unfair credit score because you will do nothing to repair your credit.

Most Americans want to believe the credit reporting system works; that people earn their bad credit and there is nothing they can do about it but wait for seven years. But study after study shows the credit reporting system frequently does not work. This is why the Fair Credit Reporting Act and other consumer protection legislation give you the right to do something about it - the right to make sure your credit score is as good as it can be.

So why is it that, though everyone has the right to dispute the negative items in their credit reports, very few people do? It certainly can't be because they don't understand the importance of a high credit score. After all, it doesn't take a genius to figure out the benefits of a good credit score when it can be the difference between paying $2,500/month and $2,000/month for the exact same house.

More likely, the reason people do not repair their credit is a mix of apathy and lack of understanding of the credit reporting system. Too many people assume the credit reporting system is some official government bureaucracy with an extensive system of checks and balances designed to ensure the safekeeping of their credit history. This couldn't be further from the truth.

The credit bureaus at the center of the credit reporting system are not official organizations. Instead, they are massive, for-profit corporations that collect personal information from your creditors and make money by selling this information in the form of your credit reports.

So now you are asking yourself, how do they ensure this information is correct? If a creditor reports something that is wrong, how do the credit bureaus make sure it doesn't end up on your credit reports?

The answer to both of these questions is: they don't. Your creditors report information, the credit bureaus record it, and for most people, the story ends there.
Nobody at the credit bureaus or in the government is going to make sure your credit reports are accurate. The way the credit reporting system is set up, there is only one person who will ever bother to check up on your credit reports - and that person is you. You are the missing, and ultimately the most important, piece of the credit reporting puzzle.

Making sure your credit score is where it should be is your responsibility and repairing your credit reports is a task you will have to initiate because no one out there will do it for you.

It is your right and your responsibility to dispute the questionable negative items in your credit reports and the sooner you start, the better. You can work to repair your credit on your own or you can enlist the help of a credit repair law firm like Lexington Law.

Capital Gains tax is a federal tax penalty that is imposed on capital accumulation, investment and productivity. Some of the income that is subject to capital gains tax includes the sale of an investment, a home, a family business, a farm or ranch or even a work of art. The capital gains tax is applied on the difference between the price paid for an item and the money received from selling it, or the capital gain. The most common form of capital gain for people is the sale of their corporate stock. The capital gains tax rate for individuals is currently at one of its highest rates ever and is at 28% while the corporate rate is at its greatest level in history, namely 35%. There is an inequality with capital gains tax in the fact that people must pay taxes on all of their gains but are only able to deduct a portion of their losses.

This particularly applies to investments that fluctuate between gains and losses over time.In many states taxpayers are liable, not only for the federal capital gains tax but also the state's own form of capital gains tax. This can actually take the combined rate to almost 40%. California, Montana and Rhode Island are amongst the highest in the country.For the government, the capital gains tax payment represent 6% of personal and corporate income tax receipts and 3% of total federal revenues. There is a lot of controversy surrounding the capital gains tax that individuals and corporations have to pay but it actually brings in much less revenue for the federal government than most people would think. In fact, the total collections during the 1990s were between $25 billion and $30 billion a year.

In the USA, capital gains are not indexed for inflation which means that the seller pays capital gains tax on the real gain and also on the gain attributable to inflation. In other countries, such as the United Kingdom, the capital gains tax rate is much higher (over 40%) but there it is actually indexed to inflation. The difference between capital gains tax and all other forms of federal tax is that it is basically a voluntary tax. People can avoid paying any of the tax by simply not selling their assets. This is becoming increasingly common, especially with the uncertainty of the stock market, and the government estimates that there is $7.5 trillion of unrealized capital gains which would all be subject to capital gains tax if it was sold.

If you want to get into Affiliate Marketing you will need to find a niche. And finding a niche can be a heavy burden. Before I give you some thoughts on finding your niche and what to consider, let's first define it.

A Niche Defined

A niche market is a market that is targeted not for the majority of the population, but for a subset of the population. Metaphorically speaking - it is one egg in your basket of many eggs. Now if you can find a niche market that isn't being met by a potential market, you can see a profit.

For the small person the niche market is ideal. Why? These ventures are not pursued aggressively by large business because of a lack of interest or a lack of awareness.

What's the key to the niche business? Grabbing a niche that is not already owned by an established company or person. Example of a niche: Small Business Market, Home Office Market, you get the idea-as you can realize from looking at these two examples - additional drilling down to a more targeted market is possible.

Finding a Niche

1. What are your interests? This is where a lot of soul searching will have to come into play - along with whether it is a passion. If it is not a passion, you may have a problem sustaining your interest. Your passion can be a hobby, an interest you pursue on your day off, or an extension of your 9 to 5 job. (Sometimes your hobby can be rather limited, thus, not giving you enough material to write about over a long period of time-that's why you need to research your topic)

2. Does, or can your interest, be easily meshed with different Affiliate Programs.

3. Research your niche: Is there a need that is not being met by the others that you will be competing with. You can do varied searches in Google, Yahoo and MSN to get the flavor of what is out there. Look over their websites, ads, etc. to get an idea of where you can position yourself.

Let me elaborate on point 3. I will begin by saying, you need to do research, but that does not mean copying what you find and using it to build your website. That is definitely not your own voice, but another. Yes, for those new to online marketing, the Internet is a big place, but copying without permission is stealing. You need to use your own voice. Nothing can be more aggravating, irritating and lawyer ridden then copying a website or content (where the author has not given you permission to copy).

Setting Up Your Affiliate Plan

Once you have found your niche, did your research and you know your niche has a ready-market; it's time to start setting up your Affiliate Plan to getting online.
Note: If you find no competition, that could be a good sign or a bad sign:
1) it could mean others have tried and failed to reach the proposed market;or
2) your would-be competitors haven't found the niche yet. Test market.

How To Copy PS2 Game

Ok, before you can burn (copy) anything your PS2 has to be modded and if you haven't done that already you can do it with: Mod Chip (links to wiki article) or Swap Magic (links to wiki article).

So, once it's been modded, here's how to go about copying/burning:
After you have downloaded the PS2 game you want and it's on your hard drive, you may proceed... (For PS2 downloads I use UnlimitedPS2Games)

You can use one of 3 good programs out there to do this:

DVD Decrypter
Open DVD Decrypter, highlight and select Mode, then ISO, then select Write.?? Once that's done, you need to find and select the PS2 game file that you downloaded--click on the folder with a magnifying glass on top of it and search for your file; change the write speed to the lowest speed that your dvd drive supports. Once you have everything in order Just click on the file and the burning process will begin.?

Alcohol 120%
Open up Alcohol 120%, click on Image Burning Wizard and another window should appear. From that window click on browse and search for the PS2 game file, find the file and open it, click on next and now you just set the speed as recommended--start the process and you're done.

Nero
Open Nero and select DVD, click on open and search for the PS2 image. Once found, set the write speed to the lowest speed and then click on burn.???That's it, happy gaming.

Have you have ever checked to see how much of your site Google has indexed by using the site:www.domain.com command? If so you may have been puzzled to see results that said 'Supplemental Result' after the website URL.

What is a Supplemental Result? Well, briefly it is an index of web pages that Google has determined do not belong in the regular search index. Wait a minute, not showing in the regular Google search results? That is a lot of potential visitors to your site just lost because your pages are no longer showing up in regular Google searches. What can be done to get yourself out of Supplemental Hell? Site Age:First of all things to consider is whether or not your site is new and does not have many inbound links. If that is the case, don't worry too much, just get out there and try to get some incoming links to your pages. Be sure to do this as 'naturally' as possible avoiding web spammers or 'bad neighborhoods'. Duplicate Content?: Are your pages lacking original content and just contain copies of information taken from other sites or do multiple pages contain similar content? Original and informative content is king and Google is very loyal to it. Get rid of copied content and write your own or pay someone to help. URL's with extensive variables: Avoid URL's that contain multiple variables. If possible avoid variables longer than 2 characters and keep the amount to a minimum. For example, www.domain.com/file.php?itemnumber=2344 would be better served by shortening the variable to something like file.php?in=2344. Link, Links, Links: I mentioned too few links earlier in the article and suggested increasing links. Well, remember to get good links, avoiding bad neighborhoods. Fewer quality links are better than a lot of low quality links. Too many low quality incoming and outgoing links will lessen Google's trust in your page. Get quality links from quality sites, preferably from pages not already in the supplemental index. Lastly, remember that Google seems to be constantly changing its algorithms and tweaking them. If your site is genuine and following Google's webmaster guidelines, then your site has a good change of returning to the regular index.
