Some of my friends wrote some very nice things about me for a dating website. I wanted to preserve the warm comments, but had no interest in the particular dating sight because it's filled with Romance Scammers. The concept was good, but too easy for the scammers to try and lure you into their web of lies. This is what my friends said about me.

For instance, skinny dipping is cool (well, maybe chunky dunkin' lol -thanks Jaime, I'll never forget that phrase). I'm
pretty flexible when it comes to music. If I want to dance, I like rap and hip hop. If I'm cruising down the road, I enjoy hip hop or classic rock.

I'm content spending time in the local bars to visit with friends or just at home watching TV. I also enjoy going out for dinner from time to time, but it's not a weekly requirement. Once a month would be acceptable depending on the funds at the time. I enjoy going to local fund raisers, county fairs, local festivals, and being around people in general. However I also like my alone and private time with that special someone.

The best things I learned from my parents:
There are no 13.00 trees growin' out back.
If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it, because you can't take it back.
Life is too short.
Many more life lessons, just can't think of them right now :-)

When Does a Hug Mean Something?

other than JUST a Hug? Am I the only one who struggles with this? Do you find yourself hugging people just to hug them, especially someone you don't really know that well?? What does a hug mean? Have you ever been hugged by someone who you yourself were really into, had been dreaming about hugging and holding that person for a solid week, since the last time you saw them for only a few moments, almost obsessed with going to sleep every night, holding your pillow so tight, imagining it was that person and then......it happens, you see them out and when they see you, they immediately greet you with a hug. And of course, your heart races and you think to yourself......I GOT my hug!!! Now, a little more to this puzzling question to me is, this person and I don't really know each other that well, even though I know his family quite well for the most part, but in the past, he and I had never had any interactions, but to me, that hug meant EVERYTHING. I mean, he hasn't even been around to have any interactions with each other. That's all I could say was, OMG, I got MY hug!!! lolol Is this crazy? Was it JUST a hug to him? Does he greet everyone that way? Was it just a vibe he got from me a week ago? I really believe that anything is possible and you know, I'd love to believe there was more to that hug than your basic hug. Dang....mmmm, mmmm, mmmm :-) We'll see what happens when I see him again and after I've had a chance to observe how he is around other women. So, for the time being, I shall go back to my pillow at night, wishing it were him who I could be holding. If it's meant to be it will and if not, I've got another new buddy. Oh boy, lucky me lolol Story of my life. At least now, I've got that hug to hold onto and hopefully won't have that illicit dream about Dr. Phil again in place of wishing for that hug from someone real. LMAO Don't you hate when you can't control your dreams. I thought that was tooooo funny. Poor Dr. Phil lololol What a trip and a funny dream. It's like, where in the world did that come from lol

You know what they say, Free isn't always good and I have to agree with that. I'm on a couple of "free" sights and it seems as thought I get hit on by alot of guys who I believe are more than likely frauds and not really interested in meeting me. I have chatted with them online and they are extremely pushy and controlling. They expect me to just drop everything, when in fact, I do have a busy life and others things which I feel the need to tend to. There are so many internet dating sights these days, it's gotten very overwhelming, so sometimes, you're better off checking out the ones who others have had good luck with. There are so many internet dating sights anymore, almost too many to even consider. There is a dating sight for any type of niche.

Another new one has cropped up and almost sounds like a good idea. It's along the line of One Million Blogs where One Million blogs is promoting bloggers and their interesting blogs. This dating mosaic is based on pictures of people so you can go shopping for Mr or Ms Right using a visual tool. Mind you, it sounds all well and good, but it doesn't seem to be taking off very well. There was one man in the great state of Pennsylvania and I find that so hard to believe. Let's face it, aren't we all truly visual people. So anyway, here are their membership rules below.

I have to chuckle really because if you think about it, how many times in passing have you ever heard someone say to a man, are you a breast man, leg man or a butt man? WOW!! Am I wrong to assume that if someone's screenname is hornybitch and they're referencing how much they enjoy attention from men, does that not make you think that maybe they have alot of sex?? Well, apparently not, so the million dollar question would be.......Why in the world would you choose a screenname like that? Was it the last one available? LOL I doubt it. People can get so ridiculous when you assume something about them based on their screen name. I don't get it.

That's just one example of my frustrations for the day. So if you don't sleep around, don't choose a screen name which implies that you do. That's all I have to say about that for now :-)

I would love to just meet a great guy. Is he out there? I believe there are
two ways of meeting Mr. Right.

If you're only option is "the bar scene", then go with your friends, create

an office party setting, laugh and have a great time, be yourself and get

the courage (and I don't necessarily mean the liquid courage - lol) and

introduce yourself and your friends. Hey, who knows, you might find

Secondly, I believe that meeting someone through a friend of a friend

A debate among online dating companies over whether
their websites should be required to say whether they do
criminal background checks on clients has spilled over into
state legislatures, a reflection of the websites' rising
competitiveness.

True.com, a Dallas-based online dating service, started the
ruckus in July 2004 when it began touting its criminal
background checks and wrote proposed legislation that would
force online dating sites to say whether they conduct such
checks. The proposal has been considered by legislatures in
California, Virginia, Ohio, Texas, Florida and Michigan, but
none has passed it.

I'm all for this and I'd prefer to have someone tell me that
they've checked this person out. Sure will keep the frauds
out of the loop, well, the ones who have been already caught
anyway.

Why do guys online try to use other people's poetry to try
and attract us. Do men think we are so needy that we'll
believe ANYTHING they type to us. OK, so I had talked to
this guy only 3 times maybe and mind you, he came on very
strong, right from the beginning (remember, his is the gal
who had a fella request that I send him 100.00 lolol). OK,
so I'm a pessimist.

OK, back to what happened. This very loving, friendly chap
(yeah right) puts the following phrase into his IM to me.

Love is not about finding the right person, but creating a right relationship. It's not about how much love you have in the beginning but how much love you build till the end

OK, so I'm thinkin'......Yeah right!!! *rolling my eyes* So I decided,
