Hello Friends;

Free stuffs really works on the net; like I said, I have 25 of these mini-blogs and 12 of them are earning this amount for me each and some of them even more. Like I said, use the free resources you have very well, no matter how little they are; they really matter.

I don't believe in the rumour going around on the internet: that Google will close blogger any time they want. The truth being told that most of these guys peddling this rumours have more than 1000 free blogger site running for them with 100% maintainance.

Lot of the individual started well with the paid options, along side the business there websites or blog seize to exist due to lack of funds: they employed the best programmers to update their blogs or site but the cost of maintain the site or blog became to high for them to continue.
A number of factors would lead to this: firstly you where hyped to believe that internet marketing would earn you millions over night. Consequently, you ignorantly leave your job for internet business with the concealed reality surrounding internet marketing. Coincidentally, you were out of funds to run your business on the internet.

Obviously, there are a lot of online business that can make you millions even without a website; yes of course! You don't need any site, no article marketing, no JVs whatsoever; all you need are the skills to succeed in that internet business. I am telling you from my candid experience - you don't need a website to succeed in Forex trading, neither do you need any blog to succeed in stock trading. Yet these business are making a lot of individuals millions.

I for one, did not start out on the internet with any blog nor website; but I was active online. I am making good money every week from the internet and my earnings per week is the monthly salary of most corporate individuals. My advise for you is this: train yourself in a particular business, succeed in it and use the internet to boost your earning potentials.

Do not leave your paid job when you are not fully equipped to do so: internet business can make you rich obviously, but can make you a pauper when you don't have adequate information on the business you want to embark upon.
Be wise!

Finally, blogger remain an epic platform to not only boost your presence on the internet: it gives you the opportunity to prepare yourself for any internet business you want to embark upon. You can also monetise your free blogger - even without money, you can still earn little amount with blogger. Wordpress is a good platform, but you cannot monetise the free option with your adsence - imagine google to pay you for sharing your ideas to your audience through adsense on your blogger site!

Calendaring / scheduling functionality
Membership site
SEO Ready (this is important. Some free website creator services charge for this).

All free website maker services offer different functionality for different prices. Some make it free, others charge for this stuff as a premium option.

5. Watch Out for Ads & Custom Domain Costs

If you like the free website maker option, be sure to see what you must deal with if you go with the free package. Usually you'll have ads on your site and you won't get a custom domain. Therefore...

6. Look to the Future

I can tell you that with WordPress and Joomla you can pretty much add any type of functionality you need... for some of it you may have to buy plugins/add ons. However, these are a pittance in cost compared to hiring a web developer.

If you've opted for a free website creator service, be sure to look at their upgrade options and how much those upgrades cost in the long run. Some website builders charge $15 to $20 per month which is far more than a simple hosting service on which you install a WordPress or Joomla website.

That said, using free website builders is easier.

7. Build Build Build

The final step is build your site. Add lots of great content. Learn some SEO and start doing that right away. Have fun.

Last time, I told us that blogger can make you cool money from the comfort of your home; but I have some reservations about this. Obviously, there are a lot of individuals making great fortune just from blogging alone: and these expert bloggers have sort ways to minimise cost of running their blogs and increasing revenue all the time.

Firstly, when you are serious of making good fortune from blogging, you start with at least 50 different blog niches .... I know I might be sounding weird to you right? However, this is one hard truth that all the gurus won't tell you. 10 blogs alone is not enough to make you serious money, except you have a strong source of traffic.

Like I said earlier; blogger.com for now, will always remain free till Google decides to change their market policy about blogger which we know they are not ready to do in the nearest possible future.

Firstly, before going professional, try as much as you can to use the free blogger.com to create your first 50 blogs. Don't boarder to pay anything for now. Manage this 50 blogs for the next 18months by updating them daily to determine your rate of performance.

Talking about managing your blog daily, if you are not visiting your site to see that things are moving well, you won't make money out of your free blog from blogger - you stand the chances of loosing your adsense account for your blogs being domant and possibly will not get any traffic.

Like I admonished you in my earlier post; Google has a strong and innovative technology that help them monitor your blog activities ... these innovations are up to date and I urge you once again to be very careful. How to Maintain Clients' Trust While Managing a Crisis

Q: How do you maintain your clients' trust while managing a crisis?

A: The best approach, of course, is to avoid the crisis in the first place. But in the real world (e.g., Enron, BP, News Corp., et al.), that's not always possible.

If a crisis hits your firm, says Jonathan Bernstein, who founded Sierra Madre, Calif.-based Bernstein Crisis Management 17 years ago, take the lead in making your case to the public. And he's not talking about just covering your you-know-what. Be frank about your problems by providing answers even before your critics start asking questions.

"In the absence of communication, rumor and innuendo fill the gap," Bernstein says. "Either you communicate or other people will communicate for you."

Typically, says Bernstein, small and midsize businesses, those that can least afford to suffer a crisis, are more prone to face one. A Fortune 500 firm can weather public opinion storms with armies of PR consultants. That option is not available for, say, the sandwich shop whose health code violation just made the front page of the local paper.

That's why Bernstein believes even small businesses should spend the money required to put a crisis plan in place. "It's not an expense," he says. "It's an investment."

The failure to plan tops Bernstein's hit parade of crisis management mistakes. A close second? The failure to provide backup for critical suppliers, key personnel, computer systems (off-site, please) and pretty much any piece of your business that you can't live without. He proffers thisfood services scenario: "If all the lettuce from a particular area is deemed to be suspect, and that's where you get all your lettuce, what are you going to be putting on your burgers this week if you don't have a backup supplier?"

Bernstein also insists that entrepreneurs prepare short- and long-term strategies for online crises. (He's such a techie that Craig Newmark, the founder of craigslist and craigconnects--the latter a Bernstein client--calls him an "alpha nerd.")

The short term: If critics launch an online campaign against you or your product, prepare a strong response for clients who ask about the disapproving chatter. "Tell them about it upfront," Bernstein says. "Tell them it's negative and inaccurate information, and tell them the truth."

The long term: Create as many online "points of presence" as possible--through websites, blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, whatever. This will help you raise your voice while diluting your critics' impact in any online discussion. According to Bernstein, it's all about search engine optimization.

For example, he says, three factors play leading roles in determining which websites get listed on page one of a Google search: content that's relevant to the search terms you want to be associated with, content that's regularly refreshed, and the number of relevant links from other sites to your site.

Ultimately, be prepared to stick to your online strategy over the long haul. "It can take up to six months to really make a difference," Bernstein says, "which is why you also need the short-term approach."

Every month, on average, 550K people globally and 49.5K people in the U.S. use Google to ask "how to blog for business". Clearly there are a lot of people looking into this, but I suppose the more important question is why should you create and keep up a blog for business? After all, as a business owner you have a lot of things you have to do already and blogging takes time.

Blogging or blog marketing should be part of your overall marketing strategy. According to eMarketer, 39% of U.S. companies already use blogging as part of their marketing strategy. Does that mean you have to? No. But it does make you wonder why so many people are doing it and if it isn't a good thing to consider. I'm sure most people think it will take too much time, but read on and see if you think it is worth the effort for your small business.

Why do 39% of companies already use a blog for business? Here are a few interesting facts taken from Hubspot and Jupiter Research:

65% of daily internet readers, read blogs daily
46% of internet users read more than one blog per day
Blogs help people narrow choices and influence buying decisions for products and services
Companies that blog have 55% more website visitors

There are many more statistics, but blogs drive traffic to your website and help customers to make product and services decisions. Also, if you host your blog on the same site as your main website and you blog once or twice a week, you will have a consistent flow of new quality content on your website which is something search engines love.

So what are the steps to get going on your blog for business?

Decide on the goals and target audience for your blog. Goals could be to increase your Google ranking to drive more people to your website, increase brand awareness, to build customer community and loyalty, or to establish yourself as an expert (on the product you sell or service you provide). Your audience is who you want to read your blog. This is would typically be prospects and customers if you are creating a blog to help maximize your business.
Create your own blog website or have someone create one for you. If you are a small or midsize business owner, you may want to have someone set up your blog for you so that you can focus on running your business. There are many options, but if possible you should look into hosting it on your website. Also a part of creating a blog is getting it found by search engines and people, so be sure to discuss this with whoever implements your blog.
Decide how often you should blog and create an editorial calendar to keep you on track. Blog posts (entries) are typically 500-700 words and should not be shorter than 350 words or you may get penalized by Google. How often to blog is really up to you, but to keep your readers interested and coming back for more, try to add new content no less than twice a week.
Start writing. Review your goals and make sure you are addressing them. Provide compelling and rich content. Draw your audience in with your titles and keep them interested with insights into your industry or business. A large part of blog marketing is about engaging your audience - you want them to comment on what you write and come back for more. Remember, a blog for business should be fun, so have some! And do not get discouraged when people don't just show up. At first no one will be reading your blog but you. Invite your customers via your email list, keep up the good content, and use good search engine techniques and people will come. You might also want to consider putting your articles on an article directory like EzineArticles. That made a big difference in my article readership.

That should help with the how, but on the "what to write" you can always get ideas by looking at what is going on in your industry and/or business and discuss that. If you are a restaurant owner, perhaps you have a great new seasonal menu you'd like to share, a new recipe, or is there a new food trend that's interesting? Or if you are in retail, what's new? What's the newest toy or product on the market? You can also use the blog directory on Google. Simply Google some keywords from your industry, such as "photography" or "beauty products" and on the left side of the Google page, click on blog. You can look at what others are saying to get ideas, but for goodness sake make sure to add new, fresh content or a new perspective.

Does blogging take effort? Yes it does, but with some effort and creativity, you will see that a blog for business can make a difference and help you reach your marketing goals.
