Well, it's been a long time coming, but I believe I have my main blog site completed enough to transfer this blogger site over to it. This will be the last post here for a while I imagine, as I'll be posting and concentrating on the new site.

So, come one, come all and visit me at [Sorry, the site is unavailable at the moment. I'll update this when and if it returns.]

Using Wordpress on that site, so there's a new look and feel but it's the same me, so no need to be shy or uncomfortable. Stop by and leave a comment. All are welcome!

Not that anyone needs any more reminding, but I thought I'd post it anyway. ;-)

I did early absentee voting this time around and it was very quick and easy. We were one of the first people in my state to actually vote. We got the absentee requests the day after we called in, and got the ballots a couple of days after that and sent them in that same day.

I highly recommend it if your state allows it. No lines and no stress.

Tomorrow, here in the U.S., we'll be electing another President.

I know some people will be glued to CNN watching the results roll in to figure out what it means for their future. Concerned that if the 'wrong' candidate wins - it'll spell certain financial doom and gloom.

Guess what? I won't be one of them...nor will Yanik Silver.

Why?

Quite simply because we've figured out how to write my own ticket regardless of what's going on with the crazy economy, the next person in the White House or any external factor!

It starts from figuring out how to create profits on demand (just like turning a tap). Then that gives you freedom to do what you want and when you want. And it expands to how you live your life and what meaning you bring to others.

I came up to my blog here to update some things and saw that my BlogRush widget was not showing. That's odd, I thought. Checked my settings and it all looked good, but still no widget. Hmm...

Off to my BlogRush dashboard to see if anything was amiss, and indeed it was. John Reese and Co. have decided to shut down BlogRush, for a variety of reasons. You can read about the decision here at: http://www.blogrush.com/

While John wishes all the best to us, I return the sentiment and wish him and the crew at BlogRush the very best. I certainly enjoyed the tool and widget and used them everyday. I will miss checking my personal dashboard to see how many of you showed up to my blog each day.

Review: Rob Toth's 28th Birthday Sale

A friend of mine in the online world (Twitter friend, to be precise), Rob Toth just had his 28th birthday.

I knew that last year he ran a pretty stacked "firesale" of his products as a limited time promo. And when we spoke over a week ago, he mentioned that he was doing the same thing for this birthday.

Seeing as we've been Twitter friends AND he's a respected marketer, author, info product publisher (and more), I told him to send me the details of his "sale" once it was live and I'd check it out to see if it's something I could (ie: would want to) recommend to you.

Well...

What he put together for this year is even more packed than last year's "27 Gifts" and yet it's about 1/3 the price. ($8!!)

You probably don't know, but Rob started online a few years back with no formal education, no contacts, no experience, no extra money and replaced his cooks income where he was making $8.50 per hour.

Now he charges $199/hr. How Do You Go About Comparing Shopping Cart Software?

Anyone who desires a successful Internet business understands the importance of a good shopping cart. There are so many shopping carts online now that it can be difficult to wade through all your choices to locate the one that will work best for you.

One way of knowing which shopping cart is best for you is to read shopping cart product reviews that you can find online and in IT magazines. Read about what others think of the shopping carts, make note of the features discussed and compare what is offered to what you need.

Another way to find what is the best shopping cart software for your business is to do some comparison-shopping yourself using a list of what you need in a shopping cart and your budget.

When you have pared down the possible candidates to just a few, then it is time to look at live stores that use each of the candidates shopping cart programs. Notice how easy or not it is to navigate, search for products, add to or delete products from the shopping cart and the features available for the customer. Look to see if the shopping cart software companies offer a customer service and give them a try to see how they respond to you.

When you are paring down your list of possible shopping cart candidates do it by comparing price, feature, and by reading the reviews of each shopping cart. Look for the shopping carts that seem to be up to date on the latest technology, are easily integrated with payment processors and your Website. Make sure you discard the shopping carts that are older or have lower quality.

When investigating live stores that use the various shopping carts that you have pared down your candidates to you want to get a feel for how the shopping carts work when in use. Typically the shopping cart companies will provide a list of several online stores that use their shopping cart. Some of the things you will be looking for are how well the shopping cart blends in with the Website and does each store look different from the others? Actually use the shopping carts on these stores to see how the carts perform.

When filtering out the candidates use a list of the top 3 things that you are looking for in a shopping cart and if a candidate does not have one of the top 3 than cross it off your list. Make a list of the features that are important to you and which ones you cannot do without this will help to narrow down your list of candidates.

If you know you will be using electronic certificates that cross off any shopping carts that do not offer this feature.

Make sure you investigate how good each company's customer service department is by sending them each an email asking some pre-sale questions and make notes about how fast they respond, if they respond with a canned reply or really give you individual attention.

Review: Web Traffic Juggernaut

Web Traffic Juggernaut is a brand new website from Brett Ingram and his Think Big Publications that says they guarantee increased web traffic and online advertising with very little effort or cost to you, the website owner. Well I decided to put it to the acid test and see for myself...

The first impression I had was that the site looks very professional and clean, with a unique and attractive style and feel to it. It's easy to read, understand and navigate around. Joining the site was dead easy and painless. There are 2 upgrade options offered, but you are not required to upgrade to gain the benefits.

Once inside, I found the Members Area to be very well laid out and intuitive. I could easily figure out what to do after only a couple of minutes and I was able to get everything up & running in less than 5 minutes. Inside the site, you can create links and ads. For the links, you simply enter any URL link you use into the link generator and it transforms them into "Juggernaut" links. You can then create ads for anything you want to promote by using the Juggernaut Ad Generator, which is extremely easy to use. You can produce as many links and as many ads as you'd like. They are also organized in a very logical way. The links are displayed in the order you created them but also the 5 most recent links you made appear on the main page for easy and quick reference. Also, since the link generator is the tool you'll probably use most, it's also right at the top of the home page when you login. Very smart!

Once you've created at least one link and one ad, you can now start to generate traffic. Just use and promote your new Juggernaut link instead of the original link you had. Each time the Juggernaut link is clicked, the page loads as normal followed by a small ad window in the lower right corner. It shows three ads PLUS an image with your affiliate link that returns to the Juggernaut site. So whenever anyone clicks the Juggernaut image, they'll see the site, and when they signup, they become your referral. It's an excellent viral feature because you can gain referrals without even trying to, just by using the site and your new links.

Each and every time the ad window displays (when your Juggernaut links get clicked) you earn ad credits that get YOUR ad displayed in the ad windows when other Juggernaut members' links get clicked. So the more clicks you receive, the more times your ads will be displayed.

And this works virally - meaning as you build referrals with Juggernaut (either by promoting it or by just using it and visitors click the Juggernaut image on the ad window to join) you will also earn ad credits on THEIR link clicks. This works up to 5 levels deep. As you can see, you can create a massive amount of free ad views and web traffic by referring others to join Juggernaut also.

I did not get to test the full effect of a large downline yet, as I just got the tool and my downline is only at ten, but I can tell you that the rest of the site works exactly as advertised - I got clicks on my links, I earned ad credits, and my ads were displayed. The Juggernaut software even tracked my results so I knew precisely how many clicks and how many ad displays I had. That is an impressive unadvertised extra feature.

There's another benefit and feature which could be the best of them all - the downline emailing. You are able to email your downline with offers, promotions, or whatever you'd like, and this is where Juggernaut really stands out. They took the time to make it so that you can email often enough that it's valuable to you as a user, but not so often that it's a problem (read “bother”) for your downline. However, the best part of this feature (and actually of the credit earning too) is that they employ a unique dual-matrix technology that builds your downline in two ways. The initial one is the typical way--you refer new members, who then refer members, etc. Now the second matrix is of the "forced matrix" variety that places all of the new members in a downline in sequential order. Without getting too technical, this means that if you join and just remain a member (even if you don't actually do anything) your downline will grow automatically, because new members will fill out your forced matrix. You also earn credits on them too. Now THAT's very cool!

Overall I have to tell you that I am impressed with every aspect of the Web Traffic Juggernaut. It is a simple, yet powerful site that delivers on its promises. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to increase his or her traffic and advertising. Especially, if they want all that for free.
