WordLinx Pays!

2013-11-25T02:43:00.001+08:00

The down side to having more than a few blog sites is that I get to neglect some of them. I understand I haven't updated here for quite some time now. Well, it's time to post some updates.

This update is pretty recent. It's about a cash out I've recently made from a PTC (Paid To Click) site called WordLinx. It was one of the first sites I've joined since three years back when I started exploring earning money online.

If you're an online newbie and don't know how PTC's work, these sites are pretty simple. You join for free, view some ads, and earn some cash. Of course, you'll need to have a payment processor like PayPal.

You will need to be a bit patient as it takes time to cash out from PTC sites. They don't pay a lot every click but at least they do pay. Cash out is $10 less some processing fees. Below is my payment proof from WordLinx...

I hope you'll join too as my referral! Happy online earning to you!! ^_^

Sitizens Surprise!

2013-02-12T00:13:00.000+08:00

As I was going through my other email account, I found this tiny bit of good surprise. I call it the Sitizens surprise 'coz apparently I got paid by TimTech -- owners of Sitizens just for playing this social game.

Don't ask me for any strategies as I don't have one. I just joined this program when it launched, added the small button to my browser, then whenever I visit sites I simply remember to click on the .

Sometimes I find that the site/s have already been "kinged" by another player. At times, I became the "king" of each unique and new domain that I get to visit. Geez, I didn't even have any strategies or quota on how many sites I would add to Sitizens. I guess you could say that I just do what I do best -- trying to make money online. LOL!

Here's the proof that I indeed got paid by TimTech for playing Sitizens.......

Note: I edited out some vital details for security reasons.

There you have it! A surprise like my Sitizens surprise is sure a welcome one every day! I hope to get lots more surprises like it!!! ^_^ Till next time... ta-tah!

Happy Chinese New Year 2013

2013-02-10T00:05:00.000+08:00

We're welcoming the Chinese New Year here in Manila. Much as I would love to go out and take various photos, I'm feeling a bit under the weather since yesterday. So here I am trying to get better, but still taking things a bit easy.

Just to share with you, here are some photos of the Chinese New Year in Manila from Rappler.com... PHOTOS: Chinese New Year in Manila

Plus, if you're a believer in Chinese zodiac signs and wonder what the year of the water snake has in store for you, here's one article I found... What does the Year of the Water Snake hold for you?

With that, have a great year ahead. Here's a little something for you... I cooked this in the afternoon. It's called the Chinese New Year cake or "tikoy" as we call it in the Philippines. It's sweet and sticky and is said to bring good luck! Enjoy! Xin Nian Kuai Le! Happy Chinese New Year! ^_^

HubPages -- Finally Got My Pay!

2013-01-30T09:12:00.000+08:00

WooHoo! I finally reached cashout at HubPages. In case you haven't heard of it, it's a user-generated content site where you can share articles on your interests and areas of expertise. Yes, it's pretty much like blogging, except there's a format -- you use the site's layout and design and you'll need to follow TOS (terms of service) to maintain your account in good standing.

Honestly, it took me more than twelve months to reach the minimum payout of $50. It's not as tough as it sounds, esp. if you write articles regularly. That's one of my challenges. I would need to spend more time in coming up with hubs for HubPages.

If you haven't tried it yet, I do urge you to sign-up with HubPages and take a shot at sharing your talent and skills in writing.

At this point, writing is not yet a viable source of income, but it can be a good source of extra income. Given enough time and experience, I hope that it will turn out to be a good venture for me. ^_^ Till next time... Ta-tah!

Happy New Year World!

2013-01-01T02:57:00.000+08:00

http://www.satisfaction.com It's the start of a brand new year... 2013... let me greet you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR! ^_^ I hope that you will spend it bonding with family and loved ones.
As I look back at the year that just passed, I can't help but be thankful for all the blessings that I received. 2012 was an okay year, but it can be better. I am one with the world in hoping for a better 2013... more joy, peace, blessings, prosperity, and good health!
There's much to be wished for. My biggest one is to be able to travel the world! Now if only financial resources were overflowing... LOL! But seriously, I'm thankful for all that I have in my life right now and I can't complain. I hope that you are in a similar position.
I've always loved the New Year. For me, it brings hope for a brighter future. Let's toast as we celebrate the welcoming of 2013! ^_^

Christmas Must Be Something More...

2012-12-24T18:30:00.000+08:00

In the many years that passed, I hardly find newer Christmas songs that I like. But here's one of the newer ones from Taylor Swift that I think has some meaning to it. It's pretty cool too that it's sung by one of the younger generation artists. I guess you could say that because of this song, I kinda like Taylor Swift more. If only more younger people would have more substance and less superficiality. Anyway, here's to wishing you and your family a Blessed and Merry Christmas! May your celebration be wonderful and be full of love! ^_^

"It’s Christmas Eve. It’s the one night of the year when we all act a little nicer, we smile a little easier, we cheer a little more. For a couple of hours out of the whole year we are the people that we always hoped we would be.”

8 Ways to Earn Money with Digital Photography

2012-11-20T14:10:00.000+08:00

Are you a shutterbug? If you like to snap pictures at family events or just out in the neighborhood, put that camera to good use in ways that will earn you money for your efforts. This article mentions eight ways that you can make money with digital photography.

The world of photography has changed since the instant camera was developed. With a digital camera, you can take a not so good shot and make it perfect using a variety of software options. Best of all, pictures can be printed on quality paper on your printer or at a store kiosk for just a few cents per picture.

Technology has created memory cards much like the flash drive storage medium to file and save pictures for sharing on the Internet. You can easily upload pictures from the memory card to your friends, family and a blog or website if you have one.

1. Stock photography. This business is growing. For website newsletters, magazines and articles, publishers look for photos that capture the essence of their articles. It is not terribly convenient to go out and snap some pictures every time you need one. Selling stock photographs to businesses and individuals is convenient for them and lucrative for you.

2. Wedding photographer. Okay so if you are not a professional you won’t be the main photographer at first but you can be hired to take candid shots at the reception or wedding photos after the ceremony. The happy couple can order as many pictures as they want and you can create wedding CD's of the pictures you took.

3. Newspaper pics. If you are in the right place at the right time, you might capture photos that are worthy of the newspaper. When news happens, a newspaper photographer might not be on the scene. You can capture the moments and sell them to newspapers. Snapping shots at community events may also earn you some money from local newspapers.

4. Magazine photographer. Create a portfolio of photos that you have taken and submit them to magazines. Looking at your work, they may hire you for assignments. Magazines are a tough market to break into so cut your teeth on other smaller assignments for local newspapers.

5. Local photography business. Ever gotten a mailing that shows cars for sale or houses for sale? Someone had to take those photographs. It could be you. Hire yourself out to area businesses to do the photographs for them.

6. Event photographer. Some families like to document their events like family reunions, christenings, bar mitzvahs and birthday parties. You can be the eyes in the room catching candid shots of everyone.

7. Photography website. If you know a lot about digital cameras and photography, create a website to sell photography products. Keep visitors and customers coming back with engaging content on various aspects of photography.

8. Teach a photography class. Those cameras look easy to use but some of those symbols can mix people up. Teach others to use their digital camera and create great pictures that they, too, can market as a business.

Do you like photography? What started off as a hobby can become a new business venture.

Least to say, this is something I'm looking into as well at the moment. I've always like taking photos and sharing them on my various articles over at Squidoo. I guess it's also worth checking out if I can make additional money out of the photos that I take. ^_^

List Building Tips (Part 14)

2012-11-16T04:24:00.000+08:00

All right, here are some more List Building Tips to help you grow your business online. This time around, let's talk about word of mouth advertising.

I do believe I have previously mentioned about the use of social media sites to further promote your business and to grow your list of subscribers.

Here are more ways to add to that. Count on some friends to refer you or recommend you. Plus, take a look at some of the lists that you yourself have joined in the past and try to see what seems to work or not. Then try to see things from your readers' perspectives. What would you like to see more in your newsletters or emails? Read on.......

35. Add a “tell-a-friend” form to your site

As mentioned in earlier tips, word of mouth advertising very frequently forms the lifeblood of businesses. It often brings in higher quality prospects, since a close friend has told them they can trust your business. In short, it is effective method for advertisement.

One way in which you can do this—initiate a word of mouth campaign—is to use a “tell-a-friend” script. This should be available on your website and possibly linked to infrequently in your mailings. It will give your subscribers a quick way to tell their friends about something good or interesting you did.

36. Make a list that you would join and enjoy

To keep your subscribers happy, you need to be providing good content and communicate with them on their level and keep them active. If you don’t share good quality, your list will die off and it will be hard to get other’s to share your content.

So when you start building your list and writing newsletters, ask yourself whether or not you would sign up for your own list if it was someone else's list. Try to be as honest as you can with yourself.

In general, of course, it is difficult to evaluate our own work, and to understand how others might perceive it. For this reason, it is a good idea to look at old archives, so that you can feel a sense of distance and unfamiliarity—and evaluate it from the perspective of an outsider.

Finally, consider comparing your list content with other lists in your niche. Ask yourself the following questions truthfully about both your own list and competing lists:

i. How frequently does the list advertise?

ii. How much space do advertisements take up?

iii. Are there many solo ads?

iv. Are there high-profile guest writers?

v. Are there interviews with experts in the industry/niche?

vi. How frequently does the list give away reports and ebooks?

vii. How frequently does the list give away audio content and video content?

viii. How personal does the writing feel?

If you feel you can’t answer these items objectively, consider asking a friend for help. As harsh as it may be to hear someone close to you criticize your work, it’ll be worth it in the long run when your number of subscribers rise dramatically through word of mouth.

Eruptions of Flowing Traffic

2012-11-08T01:04:00.000+08:00

Perhaps it's 'coz I haven't really surfed traffic exchanges much on a regular basis that I'm looking at old sites with fresh perspectives. Or perhaps having been a lensmaster on Squidoo has enabled me to acquire new lenses. LOL! ^_^

Kidding aside, I can't help but be surprised and be quite pleased with the new header of Volcano Hits. It's one of those traffic exchanges that I've belonged to for quite some time now, but I only get to surf a few sites on a regular basis. One of the reasons is that my main desktop pc has been busted for quite some time now. I'm still trying to raise enough to replace it with a pc I truly like. So mostly I'm working on a tiny notebook that my daughter owns. It's not that huge so it also tends to slow down when I try to do many things at the same time. Anyway, I digress.

Volcano Hits is also one of the partner sites of Winning Solos Text Ad Exchange, a text ad exchange site that I own. That means you can join Winning Solos from the downline builder at Volcano Hits and get a special promo code to redeem at Winning Solos for some bonus advertising credits. That goes vice versa. ^_^

So, anyhoo (as a friend used to say), I'm going back to more online work stuff at the moment. If you still haven't joined my site Winning Solos or Volcano Hits, you may want to join both from my links here on this post.

Happy advertising to you! ^_^
