One way to get traffic for Internet Marketing is to ping your blog everytime you update it. To ping your blog is very important because it would notify search engines and directories that your blog has been updated. To ping my blogs i usually use one of them :

pingoat
pingomatic
ipings

I usually use pingoat first but when it has some trouble, then i use pingomatic or ipings

Tips :

if you ping for the first time, please make sure that the blog name and url are correct
only ping after you update your blog
if you have feed, you can also use it

Steps :

Create a new blog with a popular topic that is related to your main blogs/websites
put links to your main websites
update the feeder blogs everyday with related articles to your main websites
put your main website link at the end of your posts
don't forget to ping after you post the articles

You can get traffic for a website by writing comments on related blogs. Why ? because you can get a back link to your website.

Step 1 : Find related blogs

How to find blog search engines ?

Enter " search blog " on Google search box

I think the main types of blogs are blogspot and wordpress. You can focus on them.

How to find related blogspot blogs ?

go to http://blogsearch.google.com/
type in " your keywords "

How to find related wordpress blogs ?

type in " your keywords "+supported by wordpress on the Google search box

Step 2 : Write comments on other blogs

Rules :

don't write your link on the comment box ! you can write it on the website box that is provided ( below the username and email ).
write comments that are related to the post. Don't just praise the blog. You must read the post first, then write the comment.

At first, you just write one comment on each blog. Monitor which blogs give responses ( use Google Analytics ). To them that give responses, you can write comments again and try to build good relationships with the blog owner. Please try this method and let me know the results.
