SCAM WARNING - 419 Payment Agent

Yes! Yet another scam for you to be wary of. I am sure you all know of 419 scams, but did you know of this payment agent scam???

It may be Payment agent or officer, whatever they choose to call it, they basically are trying to 'hire' people to accept payment on their behalf and forward it to themselves. Yes that's right they send you an email asking you to accept payments into your bank account and then send it to them via western union or similar. They may offer a basic salary and / or commission on the figures that you will receive.

This is most definately an illegitimate scam and one to stay as far away from as possible. If anyone is asking you to accept payments and send it on to them you should stop and think 'why can't they accept the payment themselves?' most likely this will be enough for you to realise that this is a scam.

One thing that always pops up when you are looking at ways to make money online is a scam. They are frustrating and make your search for a legitimate online position a time consuming one, after all we have to trawl our way through all the trash before we get to the real money making solutions.

So what scam have I uncovered today? Well actually it was yesterday... I uncovered a product testing scam.

Most likely you will receive an email like this:

Hi, thank you for contacting us.
 
 
We need 15 participants that are willing to test a popular weight

loss product and/or a new colon cleansing product on a daily basis

for fourteen days.
 
 
These products have been promoted on many T.V stations across

the USA, being endorsed by popular US celebrities including Kim

Kardashian. As the products are going through a trial launch in

the UK, we have been fortunate enough in receiving a handful of

free trials.
 
 
If you plan to participate then the following needs to be done:
 
 
1) You must select either the Acai Berry weight loss offer or the

Colon Cleanse offer. If you decide to do both trials, you will be

paid twice the amount.

Yet this is not as legitimate as it and the website may appear. If you look carefully you are not giving your card detail for a minor payment of £2 (or there abouts), but a direct debit of about £60. They give you 10 days to cancel and make it very difficult to do so. Most of their emails and telephone numbers don't work and if you are lucky enough to get through to someone they will try to get out of cancelling every which way, or asking you to use an alternative route to cancel. Stick to your guns though and they will most likely tell you they are cancelling your order but you are unlikely to get a written confirmation of this, so you have to take their word.

Cancelling with your credit / debit card company is incredibly difficult as there is still a possibility that they may be able to take payment out of your account even if you change your account number and card.

This scam does not operate from one or two websites, there is a whole list of them. Some of which can be found here.

So please DO NOT fall for this scam!!!!!

Top 5 Tips To Make Money Forex Trading

So you want to make money online and you are debating whether or not to pursue with Forex Trading? Forex stands for Foreign Exchange and can be used to make money through the buying and selling of different currencies.

Unlike other money making solutions that I have been looking into, Forex does contain a high risk and needs to be used with caution, however it can make money if you are careful and do you research first. I am not going to go into a load of detail as to what Forex is as there are more long-winded guides elsewhere on the internet (some of which you will find below) and most Forex brokers give beginners an ebook for free called Currency Trading for Dummies.

I do feel I should mention that whilst the charts, graphs and terms that are used in Forex Trading may make it sound complex and difficult to the average person like you and me, however if you just get in there and follow my top 5 tips below, then you will be able to get your head around all of this really quickly and you will most likely find that you will enjoy it. I must confess I am not normally much of a gamber myself but there is something incredibly exciting about seeing your investments rising.

So enough of all that, what do you really need to know if you want to start making money online using Forex?

You should do your research first. Read all the information and tips you can get your hands on. A lot of this can be found free on the internet, or go to your local library and see if they stock any Forex Trading books. Most Forex Trading Brokers even offer tutorials on their websites again free of charge, for example FXCM offers free video education.
Find a broker you can trust and a platform you can use. Brokers are complex and difficult to get your head around if you are a novice. You don't want a Broker who makes money when you loose, you need a broker who makes money when you win, otherwise you could find your cash vanishing in front of your eyes, (so you are looking for an ECN Broker). I recommend reading up on Brokers and use comparison sites and reviews to aid you in your choice. Also make sure the trading platform that your broker provides is user friendly and that you can understand sufficiently. For a comparison site, I recommend the Forex Learning Site as they make it easy to understand and allow you to select the main criteria you are seeking from your Forex broker.
Start with a demo account. Most good brokers will allow novices a practice run with a demo account, these are usually completely free and will enable you to get used to their platform and try out strategies and get used to Forex Trading. I recommend using a demo account for a few months before going live and try to see the fake demo money as your real hard earned cash so that you can appreciate the highs and lows as you would if you were really trading on the Forex market.
Use Micro accounts. Whilst you have the potential to make a lot more money with standard Forex accounts, you have to invest large sums of money, which means there is also a lot more to loose. I recommend that you use a Micro account, where you can buy smaller lots and can deposit smaller amounts of cash. This reduces the risk when you are starting off, once you are a seasoned Forex trader then you can look into opening a standard account.
Remeber that Forex Trading is not risk free. You will need to invest money before making money with Forex Trading. So be sensible, trade responsibly, do your research and practice, practice, practice!

I really hope that this advice gets to some of the 'normal' people out there as Forex Trading is not something we would even consider, but once you get passed all the lingo and charts, it is fun and it is a lot more simpler than you would initially think. Obviously some strategies are more complex, but there are some money making strategies which are reasonably easy.

I highly recommend the Broker that I have chosen, purely for its wealth of support for the novice trader. I am not getting anything from my recommendation so you can trust it. Whilst I have not yet traded live with them, I have used their training tools and I am still practicing on their demo account. As I said you should really practice for a few months before trading live on the Forex market, yet to bring it you guys sooner I felt I should offer these tips, if I do well on the demo account I do intend to set up a Micro account and deposit the minimum initially. So you’ve seen a warning or fallen prey to a scam, right? To novice internet money makers, scams are often impossible to distinguish from legitimate opportunities. Here is my own list of ways to spot a scam from the real thing, so that you can truly make money online.

Upfront fees or charges – Scams will all request a small or large amount of money upfront before any supposed information, service or income is to be received. Whilst it is important to stress that not all companies who request money before giving you their product are scammers, it is something to watch out for. If a company is requesting money and you just aren’t sure whether it is legitimate, you’re probably better off just staying away, or at least checking for company reviews.
Cash In Hand Payments – If they only offer to pay you cash in hand or through any other means you don’t trust, simply move on and leave this money making opportunity behind you. People make money by taking risks sure, but only by investing your time or money in the right risks will make you rich. So cash in hand opportunities are often illegitimate scams, after all if they are a reputable company why aren’t they bothered about taxes.
Out-of-date Information – Scammers often set up a website offering ways to make money online or at home and then leave it alone to generate income with minimal effort or input. So like me, you are eager to start making money online, yet are aware of the hundreds of scams the Internet holds. Well, as promised I endeavor to be honest about ways of making money and have come across a scam which my readers should be wary of.

Lucky for me, I am fortunate that I possess the ability to spot key scam give-aways, which I will share in my next blog. However for now I feel it is necessary to make my viewers aware of this scam, as to novice eyes, this may appear to be a legitimate opportunity to make money online. Yet this is not the case.

With Good Partners Mailing and Typing opportunities, there is no way you will earn any money through them. Whilst there are legitimate ways to make money via the Internet by using administration skills such as mailing and typing, Good Partners will actually put you out of pocket. Yes that is right! With Good Partners you will not make money online, but loose money both in the virtual world and offline.

With a professional looking website, novices may fall into the trap thinking it is a real money making solutions. They state that they are willing to provide workers with equipment and everything they need to start up and request £30 be sent to them before registration to stop people 'running off with their goods'. However unlike their website suggests, this £30 will never be returned to you and you will never make any money through them for it to be deducted from.

I nearly fell into their trap myself, however after spotting the tell-tale signs that this was a scam, I typed 'Good Partners Mailing and Typing Review' into Google and came up with a long list of negative reviews about people who had been scammed by this company. So if you are serious about making money online and not loosing it, be sure to avoid this company like the plague and look out for my next post on 'How To Spot A Scam From A Legitimate Way To Make Money Online'. Hopefully, I will have completed all the necessary research and have this blog written up by the end of today.

Get Paid To Participate In Surveys

One legitimate way to make money online is by taking part in paid surveys. There are a number of websites that you can subscribe to which offer money or vouchers for you to complete surveys.

With hundreds of scams on the Internet eager to capture those of us who are looking to make a pretty penny or two online, it is a breath of fresh air to find legitimate, scam-free solutions. Yet I am pleased to say that I have registered to a number of sites that do really offer money or vouchers for your participation in the surveys they have available.

Simply sign up and watch out for their emails informing you of surveys they have available for you. One site which I daily receive emails from offering two surveys for $1 each is Palm Research.

Other good sites to register with include; Opinion World, Crowdology, YouGov, IPSOS, Lightspeed and Toluna. This is just a small list of websites that do legitimately offer paid surveys, there are a number of them out there.

If you do decide to give paid surveys a try, you may find RoboForm a useful software and it's free. It is particularly useful during the registration process as it helps fill in common fields such as name, address, phone number, email, etc. Thus saving you a lot of time.

Whilst legitimate and a source of money online, paid surveys are by no means a real money making solution. They are time consuming, for little profit, the money they offer is poor. You can expect to be paid approximately £1 per survey which will take roughly 10 - 20 minutes. Also you may find that you could waste 5 minutes in a qualifying survey to find that there are no suitable surveys available for you at that time. This is quite a common occurrence in my experience and can be rather frustrating.

You may also find that there will be a minimum amount that you need to earn before you can withdraw any funds that you may have accrued through paid surveys.

So by all means, make a small amount of money online by participating in paid surveys, but be aware that they are time consuming and don't earn much.
