Well this is a little bit of a difficult one for us here at Internet Opportunity Review. Firstly, because this is a gambling product and secondly because it set off warning bells. In the first case, please do not consider this opportunity if you are underage or if online gambling is illegal in your country of residence. And in the second case, let me explain…

You normally have to be very careful of gambling products. The odds are always with the casino, so if the ’system’ is promising to overturn those odds, well, they are most likely lying. So that’s what sets off alarm bells - how can a casino product make money from the all powerful casinos?

Well, in the case of the Casino Cash Cow they don’t promise this. Instead, they claim to have discovered a way to put the odds back in the player’s favour.

So how does it work?

The premise behind Casino Cash Cow is one of casino scalping. This isn’t a new invention, rather it’s a time tested way of returning the edge back to the player. You see, a casino will always have the edge because the casino games are set-up in that way. In Roulette, the house has the extra zero (or zeros), giving them an edge of around 2.5%. So for a system to work it has to find some kind of advantage it can exploit. For the Casino Cash Cow, this advantage is the Casino Bonuses.

The ebook takes you through the process of beating the casinos via their own bonuses, and has a list of the casinos where most advantage can be claimed. The focus is on making smallish amounts and then moving onto the next casino. This isn’t a ‘get rich instantly’ scheme - it does take a bit of time and patience. However, the logic cannot be faulted and if you don’t get greedy, take the bonus from a casino and then move on, you can definitely make money.

Type ‘<product_name> review’ into Google and you are generally met with a load of results from specially registered domains (productnamereview.com) or from Squidoo, article sites, classified sites or hosted blogs. Finding a Genuine review from someone who’s actually used the product is very difficult.

This was a tough one to pick as there are a lot of horribly biased review sites out there. After a lot of searching, we present the award to http://workathometop10.com/. The clinchers for the award were:

• Use of dodgy stock photography for the ‘review writer‘ and for the writers of the ‘testimonials‘
• Heavy recommendation of survey sites. Pfff…
• Use of ‘50% off today’ and similar banners

The Blogging Award for top genuine Internet Marketing Blog

This was a tough one too, as there are actually quite a few IM blogs that cover Internet Marketing well. In the end we went for MasonWorld: http://www.masonworld.com. Mark’s blog features a wealth of great free information on affiliate marketing as well as genuine reviews of products he has used. Keep it up!

The Review Award for top genuine Internet Marketing Review Site

The hardest part of this award was finding a dedicated review site that gave any negative reviews at all. The overwhelming majority just listed the top 5 or 10 products they wanted to sell and gave them all 5 or 4 stars. Finally we came across WorkFromHomeInternet.net from Sean Richards. Apart from taking silly photos of himself for the site, Sean does a very good job of adding a brief, accurate summary of a product (and he’s not afraid to give 1 star ratings) and then linking to genuine reviews elsewhere on the internet. The site is an excellent way of getting an overview of what’s currently worth buying. Full marks!

Poker Books

Reading Poker books is all well and good. If you’ve tried it you’ll know that it can certainly help your game. But often it’s difficult to relate the situations described in the books to ones you find yourself in online. It’s also tricky to visualize it all. So, Poker books, while good, have their limitations.

Online Poker Videos

So, imagine you could take the knowledge imparted in a poker book but actually watch the situations as they unfold at an online poker room. You could get inside the head of a Pro as you watch them make their moves, explaining why they’re doing what they’re doing. That is Real Poker Training. I personally found it to be incredibly useful, and after soaking up several hours of video started to feel that this was indeed a genuine Internet Opportunity. By watching and learning, I would be able to replicate what I’d seen myself. This has in fact proved to be true - my game has come along in leaps and bounds since becoming a member. Of course, I’m nowhere near ready to turn Pro (even if I wanted to), but I’m certainly not losing and still have many hours of video left to watch.

It’s not all roses…

Of course, the RPT site isn’t perfect. The video that the online player produces is a bit small, and the audio quality is at times a bit poor. The quality of the instructors varies too - the regulars are all great, but there are one or two guest teachers whose classroom manner leaves a lot to be desired.

Overall

Overall though, the site is excellent. For anyone who fancies making their full-time incoming from online Poker, I would urge them to start off with a membership at Real Poker Training. In this opportunity review, we will be examining BANS (Build a Niche Store). BANS attempts to turn the process of creating an ebay affiliate site into child’s play, promising lots of money in exchange for very little work. So does it come good on those promises or is it just hype?

What you will need

BANS isn’t an out-of-the-box money generator (and we’d be very suspicious if it promised it was). It is a complete PHP script that you can install on your webserver. This script creates all the pages for your store, working from the configuration that you choose. So in order to run it you will need:

• A domain name. Your store should have it’s own domain name.
• Web hosting for the domain
• An eBay Partner Network account. This is free, and can be obtained from ebay
• A ClickBank affiliate account. This is also free from ClickBank

Setting up the store

Setting up the store is very easy, especially if you have some experience with setting up websites. Even if you don’t, they instruction manual that is included with the package is very thorough and does a great job of explaining things in layman’s terms. You should be able to get everything up and running in a few hours.

Extras

The BANS package come with entry to their forum, and this is actually very valuable for beginners. You’ll find lots of information and help from people who already have BANS stores.

What’s it lacking?

BANS won’t help you find the profitable niches, so there’s work required in that. And it doesn’t automatically promote your store for you, it’s up to you to market the store and send some traffic to it. Without any traffic coming to your site, you won’t be able to get any commissions. There are lots of tips on this in the forum, but nevertheless you shouldn’t think that setting up a BANS site with result in automatic cash. Some work is required.

The Bottom Line

BANS is actually a great product. A lot of work has been put into it, and the overall package is very professional. The sites that BANS produces are effective, and if you can send traffic to them you will certainly make money. And with BANS being as easy to use as it is, it’s not hard to create dozens of sites. As an internet opportunity, we don’t hesitate in recommending it, and give it a 4 star recommendation.

AdWords confessions is an ebook designed to help you promote products via Google Adwords. Specifically, it goes into a lot of detail about promoting Clickbank products. So, can the book offer anything worthwhile for Clickbank affiliates in 2008 or are the techniques old hat?

Beginners Information

The first 28 pages of the ebook contains information for beginners - how to setup your AdWords account. While this information is freely available on the web, the ebook also contains a list of keywords that you can use in your first campaign. In fact, this is one of the strengths of Adwords Confessions - it often gives you exact keywords and ad copy to use. This section also contains some useful, if incomplete, information on Site Targeted campaigns. It mentions them, mentions they can be useful, but doesn’t go into detail. (It also doesn’t mention how these site campaigns can be risky and expensive).

Ad Copy for Clickbank Campaigns

This, for me, is the stongest section of the ebook. If you are promoting Clickbank products via Google adwords then it is essential that your ad copy is outstanding. The book here gives some great tips on increasing your clickthrough rates via excellent copy, and some other related techniques.

Finding Keywords

The ebook also contains a section on finding keywords for use with Clickbank campaigns. There are some useful tips here, and definitely a few things you won’t have thought of.

Where to place?

The ebook contains some research on where the most profitable ad positions are and how to place there. Again, this is useful information.

A poor finish

Having started strongly with the information above, the ebook finishes poorly with some throwaway information on splash pages, opt-in lists, and the Google Slap. The info on the Google Slap is a bit out of date, while no golden tips on splash pages and opt-in lists are given. The remainder of the ebook is spent trying to sell you other products and the Adwords Confessions affiliate program.

Overall

Overall, I’d say that the ebook does give some excellent tips related to marketing Clickbank products via Google. However, it is let down by being a bit out-of-date and by being a bit expensive for what you’re getting. Overall, we give it a rating of 3.

Well, people who are looking for some kind of trick or secret that will get Google to give them completely free no strings attached advertising are looking in the wrong place. The only way that can happen is with an Adwords voucher for new clients. No, this is something else. It’s about how to offset the cost of PPC advertising with Google.

For me, the ebook has pros and cons, but overall I’d say it’s definitely not a scam. It does offer useful advice so let’s look at the pros first:

• The ’secret’ behind the ebook is actually pretty clever, and you probably haven’t thought of it before
• Some decent examples are given, including a whole list of adwords keywords for a particular niche
• The ebook is extensive; it’s no 10 pager - so you do get the feeling that you’ve bought something worthwhile

But, that said, it definitely wasn’t perfect. On the negative side, I felt that:

• It didn’t go into enough detail about how someone with a very small budget can start up
• It didn’t take into account more recent developments such as the Adwords quality score

Overall, I’d say if you already have a website with some traffic then the idea can be applied very effectively. However, if you’re just starting out with a limited budget I would tread carefully. A neutral 3 star rating.

From digging a bit deeper, it seems that this membership site provides you with a guide and resources to go about getting a job as a games tester. It doesn’t hand everything to you on a platter. It’s not straight out easy money. You will actually have to get out there, and get those jobs, which will require effort on your part.

That being said, if you have a passion for video games and the dedication to succeed, then membership to Gamer Testing Ground will certainly be useful for you. Overall then, we’ll give it a neutral rating of 3. The opportunity is there, but requires work.

Profitlance is an online training course for internet marketing techniques. It has received good reviews from many different sources (as you can can see below).

Its focus isn’t on getting rich quick; rather it seeks to give you a set of long term transferable skills that you can put to work on the internet. Be warned though; Profitlance won’t do all the work for you. It will help and guide you, but at the end of the day you still have to put the work in.

However, it seems that in order to do so in many cases you need to purchase goods from the companies in question. Other times it seems that the ‘pay’ you receive merely takes the form of goods, services or coupons. In other cases your pay may take the form of entry into a sweep stake.

That being said, it does seem that a few of the surveys do pay well in cash. However, they don’t appear to pay in a way that matches the hype of Paidsurveysetc.com

Overall, we’d say that this opportunity seems to good to be true. Which normally means that it is.
