Eso quiere decir que si un adulto tiene relaciones sexuales con un chico o chica que aún no haya cumplido los 16, aunque estas sean consentidas, el adulto podrá ser condenado por “abusos” a una pena de entre dos y seis años de cárcel (hasta 12 años si hay penetración vaginal, anal o bucal). Habrá, sin embargo, una excepción: las relaciones sexuales consentidas con un menor de 16 años no serán delito “cuando el autor sea una persona próxima a la víctima por edad y grado de desarrollo o madurez”.
