Crop tops are already in abundance on the high street & are going to be pretty big this summer. With temperatures still varying in the UK, I like to layer up my crop top & tie a denim shirt over the top - somehow I don't quite feel so exposed.

My white obsession continues....with these lust worthy Michael Kors toe posts. This time the white is seriously blinged up with some gold hard wear, which for me is the perfect summer combo.

I was lucky enough to receive a voucher from Zalando, so decided to treat myself to these beauties for my June holiday (just over 2 weeks to go!!).

Being real leather they're gorgeously supple & coupled with the slightly padded sole I just know they're going to be my summer go to flats!

Chargrilled Chicken Kebabs With A Smokey Barbecue Salsa

Weekend lunch...this is a simple but really tasty meal I made at the weekend for our lunch. The chicken is marinated in orange zest, rosemary & olive oil before cooking, which really compliments well with the smokey flavours of the salsa.

When the sun is out it's a fab dish to cook on the BBQ & works well with other kinds of meat, but hey, with the spring weather we've been having in the UK I had to make-do indoors with my griddle pan!

If like me you're totally not into the whole denim dungaree trend, then a denim skirt is a stylish, sexy alternative. I loved the raw edge hem & distressing on this Zara skirt I bought last week. It will definitely be a wardrobe staple throughout the summer.

My sandals are also new, purchased ready for my holiday in June. With the sun out over the weekend I couldn't resist breaking them in. Being white they're summer perfect, so expect to see a lot more of them!

Jewellery wise, my current obsession is my astrid & miyu statement necklace, which has literally been gracing my neck since it arrived last week.

Miu Miu Cats Eye Sunglasses

Happy Monday Lovelies!

I've been after a pair of sunglasses for my forthcoming holiday for a little while (I'm officially on countdown!) & especially fancied a pair of over sized Cats Eye's.

Not wanting to jump on the Celine Audrey band-wagon I found this gorgeous pair of Miu Miu Cats Eye sunglasses that were exactly what I had in mind.

I love that they're over sized without taking over my whole face, with such beautiful shaping around the edges of the frame!

I love a good trifle but do find it can look like a bowl of slop when served...enter the Tumbler Trifle! Appealing to my love of individual portions, this is a natty, easy & pretty take on a traditional trifle, which is sooo much easier to serve.

The flavours sit together harmoniously, with the banana boiled in coconut milk, the cream flavoured with vanilla extract & the crushed ginger snaps being a tasty little topping!

chicfeed is my go to app for keeping up with street style. Available for both iPhone & Android, you can follow all the top street style blogs like The Sartorialist, Face Hunter & Jak And Jil blog to name a few. It's such a great app for my daily dose of inspiration!

Pose

I'm totally hooked on Pose to see what real fashionistas are wearing.

Pose offers plenty of inspiration courtesy of amateur fashionistas & celebrities alike who upload their favourite poses & tag them with brand info. You can also upload your own looks.

Touch Closet

If like me you sometimes forget what you've got in your wardrobe (remember this post), then this is the App for you!

Touch Closet allows a virtual organisation of your wardrobe so you'll always know what's in there - great for last minute "What Shall I Wear" dilemas!!

It's a great way of keeping your own wardrobe in check & avoids too much duplication (do you really need another pair of boyfriend jeans!!!!)

It's not often I come across a new website I've never seen before with fab designer products, so when I stumbled upon Legally Glam I was instantly impressed & decided to pull together my wishlist of favourite products from the site to share with you all.

Top of the list is the gorgeous Michael Kors watch - being white it's summer perfect & appealed to my current white obsession that seems to be getting worse each week!
The website carries loads of womens designer watches - think brands such as DKNY, Dolce & Gabbana.

More often than not, we like to kick off the weekend with a trip to the pub or a meal out, but on the odd occasion we stay in on a Friday night I like to cook "treat food", for example my favourite burger or a homemade pizza.

What I love about homemade pizza's is that you can make them a little healthier than buying in - I prefer a wholemeal base & always use a good quality low fat Mozzarella.
Once you have the ingredients for a good dough, you can have great fun creating different toppings.

Last Thursday I was lucky enough to attend the boohoo.com AW13 Press Day & grab a sneaky peek of their fabulous new range.

Since launching in 2006, boohoo.com have grown to be one of the biggest online fashion retailers in the UK & it was easy to see why as their AW13 range is their strongest yet.

What I really loved about the range for autumn was the interest within each garment - pannelling, textured fabrics, embellishment & metallics were all evident, with some wonderful silhouettes.

To complement the looks, there were lots of eye catching shoes & accessories, with some truly amazing statement necklaces.

Tartan is going to be big for AW13 & boohoo.com's English Heritage range had some great interpretations that looked like they'd walked straight off the catwalk at London Fashion Week.

It was a fab fun day with the pop up nail bar, photo & video shoots to get involved in.

My favourite range of the day was the Boutique range, which is their Limited Edition collection. I especially loved the collection of party dresses within this range & some gorgeous jackets.

I know we've not even had a proper Spring, let alone Summer yet, but the day really got me excited for Autumn/Winter!

April was such an exciting month for me, kicked off with a trip to London with my sister to buy my ultimate dream Chanel bag after years of wanting/saving! Once purchased, I've really enjoyed using it & incorporating it into my daily outfits/routine.

I've received so many lovely compliments about them from family, friends & even in shops when I'm paying for something, which has inspired me to try a few different colourways.

The technique works well with either neutrals or brights.

The Best Broad Bean Salad

Can you believe it's May already!!!

Today's salad is a great example of the sort of thing I've been eating for my lunch lately - fresh, tasty & healthy.

I use this recipe for the basis of the salad, & like to add some extra beans such as Edamame beans, Butter beans & a few fresh garden peas.

For the meat, I've used extra mature Spanish Serrano ham.

The flavour combination with the fresh garden mint & lemon dressing is mind blowing!

Today I thought I'd take you to Las Vegas with a little glitzy outfit inspiration!!
How do you like my casino dream outfit?
I'm totally drooling over those Burberry Prorsum wedges.

Having already travelled to some iconic USA cities (New York, LA, San Francisco), Las Vegas is next on my list of US cities & is in my top 5 places I want to visit.

Apart from all the glitz & glamour (which I would totally embrace), there's plenty of things to do in Vegas.

Shopping...believe it or not, Las Vegas plays host to all the designer boutiques & as shopping is my favourite past time, it would be high up on my list of things to do.

Casinos...you can't go to Las Vegas & not have a flutter! The key is to have a gambling budget & stick to it! I can just imagine the rush of adrenalin when you get your first win.

Take in a show...Vegas is famous for it's shows, whether it's magic, Cirque Du Soleil or the big belters like Tom Jones. I would have so loved to have seen Elvis perform here.

See the desert...bizarrely, I love the idea that Vegas is literally on the edge of the desert & would love to do one of those Jeep safaris across the sand.

So here's to dreaming & the hope that soon my dream will become a reality!

Rosemary And Sea Salt Focaccia

Today's recipe can easily be described as my current food obsession! Not only does it taste A.M.A.Z.I.N.G, what's more is I haven't had to make it!!!! Naturally this means I can't take the credit for it either. It's all down to my wonderful husband Ian.

A couple of weekends ago, our friends came over for a meal. I'd decided to serve Paella with a fresh mixed salad as the main course & Ian volunteered to make Focaccia.

It turned out a treat & is so easy to make (so Ian tell's me)!

This weekend Ian made the Focaccia again & we decided to indulge in some yummy Italian antipasti to go with it. It was just as delicious 2nd time round.

If you have a bread maker like we do, you can cut corners a little & use it to mix the dough!

Saturday was such a glorious day of sunshine I decided to wear my floral denim for the first time, thanks to Zalando. I'm normally a 30 inch leg when it comes to buying jeans, but these only came in 32 & 34 inch legs, so I opted for the 32 inch & decided they could have a cute little turn up.

Zara White Leather Wedges

Happy Monday Lovelies!

To kick off this brand new week, I thought I'd talk you through my recent purchases, starting with the beautiful white wedges above. I've been after a decent pair of white leather wedges for a while. These were exactly what I had in mind (all I need now is a white bag to go with them - I'm saving hard on that one!!).

Zara TRF Ethnic Jacquard Jacket

My turquoise accessories immediately sprang to my mind when I saw this jacket. The white & turquoise look so fresh together & the ethnic print is totally relevant right now. I wore it for the first time last Wednesday when I went on a shopping & lunch date with my Mum.

Zara Combination Pearl Necklace

The combination of pearl, silver & gold attracted me to this gorgeous statement necklace, when I was shopping with my Mum. I'll be able to mix a great deal of my existing jewellery collection with it. It reminded me of a Chanel necklace I saw when I was last in London which was waaaayyyy out of my price range!

Floral denim is pretty big right now going from Spring pastels into summer tropics. I loved the colour palette & print of these Vero Moda skinny jeans & thanks to a voucher I received from Zalando I've added these beauties to my wardrobe. I can't wait to wear them with the rest of my pastels.

Ok, I know what you're thinking "I thought she already had a white biker jacket" & you're absolutely right. Remember this jacket I bought right at the beginning of the season?

As it was really cheap I had always said to myself that if I saw a more authentic looking white biker later on, I would buy it!

I hope you can see why I bought this gorgeous Topshop jacket - the side buckles, the quilting, the more substantial look & feel of the jacket.

As for the H&M jacket....it's heading straight for eBay!!
