If you are willing to do what it takes to get promoted and get that dream job you will listen to this quote. Some of you may not want to do that because of your integrity. However, faking it isn't a bad thing if you need to provide for family or change the world for the better. Faking is being nice to people you hate or doing things you hate doing for the sake of getting where you want to be and where you can be happy. Fake that you are the most confident person in the room and it will seem like you are the most confident.

Overestimation over Underestimation

I would always prefer to overestimate somebody rather than underestimate. Overestimating the person won't blindside you but will diminish time and resources. Underestimating someone can hit you smack in the face and would never see it coming. Typically introverts are underestimated because they are quieter and not noticed as much. Extroverts are noticed more often because they are loud and talkative. When you are underestimated you surprise and when overestimated you disappoint.

Ultimately Selfish Nature

From deeper thoughts, it always ends up being about ourselves.

When we help others, we feel good about ourselves.
When we ignore others, we feel we are selfish since selfishness is bad and we don't want to be associated with bad things, we decide to help instead.

Both characters are selfish

Life happens to revolve around each other but whatever decision we make will always be about ourselves, whether we decide to do good or bad. Life is about continuously running (from what is bad) and chasing (after what is good). That's why where there's good, there's bad. Where there's pleasure, there's pain.

Everyone continues to talk about what is right and what is wrong but little do they realize or admit that what they mean by right is whatever that is self-beneficial and whatever they mean by wrong is whatever that is self-detrimental.

Just like saying "Please do right". What this actually means at deeper level of consciousness is "I don't care whether you're wrong, just do whatever that is right to me." That is when you see people arguing about justice and fairness for themselves but they will turn a blind eye when injustice happens to others unrelated to them.

Justice and fairness are expected and demanded by everyone. Nevertheless, justice and fairness have always remain very much one-sided. This leads to the question does true love exist?

Thought Controlled Bio-feedback

Bio-feedback is the ability to change physiological activity. The other day I visually thought about drowning and my heart rate was pounding. Force yourself to put a smile on and brainwaves will be transmitted to alter your mood. Being able to control your body like that just seems so powerful and it sure can be a thrill sending adrenaline through my veins.

True Love a Myth?

Ideally yes, but arguably no.

In the context of "romantic" true love, I believe that two people will feel highly attracted to each other based on a combination of hormones and neurotransmitters that activate their "reward" centers of their brain, leading to feelings of attachment to each other.The level of oxytocin released is proportional to the levels of attachment they have for each other.

Love is an illusion

I was born I have never seen true love. People do date and they do marry each other but they do that because of their selfish reasons. True love does not exist. Love is and always has been a choice, and the romantic era brought about this idea that love was just some emotion that just came upon you that could not be controlled. So people keep holding on waiting for this perfect true love to come about, when in reality, they just need to decide who they want to love and jump in with both feet.

Why Being a Night Owl is Genetic

A theory I have on why Night Owls can't sleep is that our ancestors had people in the night to watch over and protect the tribe or village while the others were sleeping. The Night Owls would sleep during the daytime when the Early Birds were awake to take care of the village. This has brought me to the conclusion that this may be a genetic rather than it being nurtured into us.

Another theory of mine is that our ancestors may have been from a different timezone but I think this theory is less likely.

Better Realism or Optimism

Optimism is nothing more than false hope and or "Ignorance is bliss". A realistic looks into the situation does everything in there power to obtain the desired outcome. Optimism are too reliant on luck and dream more than take action. Also, pessimism is just plain downright stupid.

Conquering Fear

I used to be a fearful person but discovered it was irrational thought that grew when I was a child. Taking the first step in fighting your fear is the biggest.

Steps I took to conquer fear of heights:

Learn fear is irrational
Tell myself I don't fear heights
Stand next to ledge with guardrail(baby steps).
Climb a ladder then stand there and look down
When looking far above think of what you are looking at as beautiful
Go on a small roller-coaster, medium and then large
Enjoy life

Now I can't wait to go skydiving!

Acknowledge ghosts and other mythical creatures aren't real
Man up

Sometimes theirs not much you can do other than man up. Don't let fear be your prison!

Nature vs Nurture

There is no doubt that both Nature vs Nurture play an important role in one's life. However, which one plays the bigger role. I would go 75% Nature and 25% Nurture. The greatest evidence that Nature wins is because if there were two identical twins and are separated there remarkably similar to each other. They typically act the react the same, have many similar likes and dislikes and same habits. Genetics are very power because it is the blueprint of who you are. Nurture play a role of the opportunities that are presented and the experiences that help you with what you want to become.

Power of Observation

Observing is a powerful tool that can change how you look at the world. It can be used to solve problems, equations and answers to life. Sherlock Holmes had that skill and become a brilliant detective. Another example but fictional is the television show House. House is a great doctor because he notices things other people don't notice able to make stories and create theories in his head. Simply noticing a way person has their hair done can tell you what they were doing or will be doing. Also, helpful in deducing if whether or not a person is lying or telling the truth.

Who you Know and Who you blow

A very high amount of the time successful and great people got where they are from people they knew or people they blew(brown-nosing). Who are you more likely going to hire if someone you know recommend his friend or someone else that has just as good as a resume as the other person. It is why you should be friends with everyone. Who knows who they know or where they will get in life. They can open doors for you or close them shut.

Full Moon Theories

A full moon theory that I find accurate is the baby births during the full moon. There are more admissions and births during a full moon. Why? Well it could be because the moon controls the tides/water and humans are made up of 75% water. This can cause pregnant woman water to break. In addition, I am a full moon baby. I wonder if there is any psychological effects of being one.

Second theory is people become more crazy and have abnormal behaviors during this time. This one I am not too sure of and still need to look more into but it could be totally possible due to moon controlling water and effecting gravity.

Student Loan Investing

I have thought about taking out student loans to invest in stocks, bonds, cds and etc... Though it may be illegal the only way to get caught is through a IRS audit which are very rare. Taking out 5,000 dollars in student loans and putting it in a good stock worth 10 dollars a share can be a very good long term investment. Since you don't have to pay back your student loans until you finish college.

Lets do some math, you can buy 500 shares of a 10 dollar stock with 5,000 dollars. Then say the stock goes up to 15 dollars. 500 x 5=2500 dollars profit made from investing in stock for 4 years. To be honest it really isn't hard to find stocks that will do good in coming years especially if you have money to put in. Also, imagine if you were a law student pulling out loans. Loans will be 50,000 dollars or even much more. There is much greater room for more profit. Seriously who didn't see Google stock would sore but who here could afford many shares? My last thought to my readers is to invest in WEED STOCKS now rather than later. Weed stocks will sore in the coming years!

I say never promise anything because you can unintentionally break that promise or circumstances change to where it has to be broken. I usually say I will try my best but no promises. When a promise is broken they will lose trust in you and may cause future problems.

Muscle Relapse

Alright say you have been working out for a year and your body is in shape/toned. However, when you stop working out for a great amount of time such as six months. Your body will start to cramp up and get Charley Horses for no reason. What I mean is if you never worked out your body in the first place it would not cramp up while doing something random like when you are sleeping. What it could be is your body/muscles relapsing from not being given its drug/workout.

Will Power and Motivation

You could be motivated to workout for health reasons but you must have the willpower to do so. With these two combined at high limits it can push you to success and greatness. First you have to find out what motivates you. More importantly, where does willpower come from? Are you born with traits that promote emotional override(willpower).

Everyone can be motivated but not everyone is motivated the same way. Perhaps willpower comes from past experiences and learning to push yourself or it is doing something to accomplish something greater than yourself.

Honor

Honor is very valuable to me as it is something I will not betray. Some have the misconception that honor is how people view you. That is not what Honor is to me. Honor is how I look at myself and whether or not I can be proud of my actions. Doing the right thing. Even when it's hard. Even when it makes people hate you. Even when no one will necessarily know or ever thank you. Doing the right thing when no one is looking because you answer to yourself. Though, I question how many people still believe in Honor.

They can provide help provide legal action against the corporation and just by telling the BBB of the wrong doing the corporation will have a BBB rating which companies care about. You can also go on BBB and just write a company review. The BBB is a nonprofit organization and independent organization to assist in self-regulation of the free market.

Sixth Sense

Aborting a Made Choice

Where does life begin? To me life begins when the heart starts beating which is between five and seven weeks of pregnancy and can be detected by an ultrasound. Life has a choice on whether or not it wants to live or die. Life will always choose to live as it has not experienced life and how are we to decide whether or not it wants to live. Also, once two people decide to have sex they are taking the risk of conceiving a child even if you used birth control, using condom or pulling out.

The only two reasons abortion should be allowed is if the person is raped or the life of mother is at stake. This is allowed because the mother was forced and did not make the choice and you can't exchange one life for another. In addition, incest abortion should not be allowed as they chose to have sex and can keep aborting life if abortion was legal.

My thoughts are not based on religion as I am not religious .

Lesser of Two Evils Theory

I don't believe in the lesser of two evils and would rather take the third choice. Whenever people say they voted for Mitt Romney or Obama most people who voted agree they are both liars and one of them is the lesser of two evils. Those who voted like that did not realize there was a 3rd and 4th option. 60% of the population took that option. One option was not to vote at all and the other was to vote for another candidate such as Gary Johnson. Though people say voting for a candidate for Gary Johnson was a wasted vote. I say if you voted for Mitt Romney is a wasted vote as he lost the election. Please stop failing to see the bigger picture!

When you are working or doing something and there is someone who knows more than or has more experience we are more inclined to ask for assistance even though we probably know the solution. Also, if we keep asking for help we may look unintelligent and fearful. In addition we try to think out side the box and be creative when needed. I always say "I fly best with clipped wings".
