I received a request from a university student yesterday asking me if he could use one of my Native American Indian art videos he found on YouTube for a school project.  I will reply to him that he can certainly use any of our videos as long as the clip is kept intact in its entirety.

Looks like Canada is not the only country that made a formal apology to its indigenous people when Prime Minister Harper made that historic apology in the Canadian parliament recently.  Australia did the same thing when its Prime Minister Rudd also apologized to Australian Aborigines, that country's indigenous people for crimes and injustices committed against them throughout Australia's history.

We have a multicultural festival called Carrassauga here each spring and I attended for the first time in several years.  One of the African pavilions had a booth with African arts and crafts including a few African tribal masks.  They were okay in quality but not nearly as striking as some of the ones I've seen elsewhere.  For online sources of some really nice looking ones, see African Tribal
