InvisibleLa is a blog about the city I was born in, was not raised in, but currently (happily!) live in: Los Angeles. He was always surrounded with lot of controversies related to his face appearance, behavior and scandals. He was accused of child sexual abuse in 1993 and 2003. In May 1994, Jackson married singer-songwriter Lisa Marie Presley. The great artist took his last breath on June 25, 2009. Jackson died due to a sudden cardiac attack. Death of such a great musician and singer came as a shock to his family and fans.

M.J. lost his breath on June 25 but he is still alive in the hearts of his fans. Even after the death of Jackson his songs are good enough to keep him alive. He is being remembered at every single place when we talk about music. Many honoring events held in the memory of Jackson. One such memorial was held in Los Angeles on July 7, 2009 and Jackson’s children shared some of their father’s memories with the people present there. Jennifer Hudson and many more stars paid homage to the king of pop in L.A’s Staple’s Center by means of his music. Jackson’s family got reunited to pay him tribute on July 11, 2009.M.J was also remembered at the BET awards held in the year 2009. In the award ceremony the entertainers were awarded as a tribute to Jackson. Beyonce, the singer present at the evening paid tribute to Jackson by referring him as her Teacher and hero. That’s not all where M.J. was remembered, he became the part of every magazine, newspaper, concert and everything. M.J. has not died, he just stopped breathing, but still his music breathes for him in his fans’ hearts.

You may also find these great hot dogs being served in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood(The Aladdin Hotel). Or if you are ever in the mood to gamble in Los Angeles. Than you can find some Pinks Hot Dogs at the Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood, California, right across the street from the Forum where the Los Angeles Lakers use to play before moving to the Staples center. Pink’s Hot Dogs are also served at the Greek Theater in Griffith Park, Los Angeles(down the hill from Griffith Observatory).

The hours for the Pinks Hot Dog stand are almost around the clock. Open anywhere between 16 – 18 hours a day. It opens daily at 9:30 am and closes between 2 and 3:00 am. On top of that if you visit Pink’s you can have another chance to see a slew of celebrities. Especially since it is in close proximity of Paramont Studios. Such celebs that have been to enjoy the tasty hot dogs are: Celine Dion, Billy Dee Willaims(loved him as Apollo in the Rocky movies and Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars movies), Bruce Willis, Snoop Dog, Bobby Flay, Tyra Banks, Alec Baldwin, Rosie O’Donnell, Aerosmith(loved Steven Tylers daughter – Liv Tyler in “The Lord of the Rings”). And yes, even the great Martha Stewart was found buying and taking a few bites of these delicious hot dogs.

The hot dogs are thee best dogs one could ever possibly have. One can view Pinks menu. I usually spend anywhere from $5.00 – $8.00. My usual is just a hot dog with mustard straight up, side of sauerkraut with Orange Crush and a bag of chips. I do get adventurous and get the spicy Chicago Polish Dog – mustard, relish, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and no chili. My all time fav though is the Bacon Chili Cheese dog.

Really, Really trust me. Pink’s Hot Dogs are worth it. I know I said you can get them at Planet Hollywood in Vegas, Hollywood Park Casino or the Greek Theater. But for the ultimate experience stop at Pink’s Hot Dog Stand on Melrose and La Brea.

Charlton Heston was president of the National Rifle Association from 1998 to 2003. Heston made a cameo appearance in the 2001 remake of Planet of the Apes. In the film, he plays a chimp who introduces arms to his species by giving a pistol to his son, General Thade.

His last film role was an uncredited appearance as the voice of nobleman in Shrek 2 (2004) .

In 1944, enlisted in the United States Army Air Forces. He served for two years as a B-25 radio operator/gunner stationed in the Alaskan Aleutian Islands with the Eleventh Air Force as a Staff Sergeant.

El Cholo restaurant has been a fixture in the Los Angeles area since 1926. And the restaurant has been ran by the descendants of Alejandro Borquez and George Salisbury. The hours are generally around 11 AM – 10 PM. They do have vallet parking. And the busiest times of the year are in May around Cinco De Mayo(May 5th) and in September around the independence of Mexico from Spain(September 16th). El Cholo is widely known and famous for their margarita’s. Plan to spend between $10.00 – $20.00 per person,

I have been going to El Cholo restaurant for the last 12 years. Everytime has been a wonderful experience. I would recommend being seated in the patio area. My favorite dishes are the “Taste Of History”($12.25). It includes 1 taco, 1 enchilada, 1 tamale, 1 chile relleno with rice, beans and a salad. I usually order the Taste Of History when I really can’t decide on what I want. I never can finish the plate, so I take the remaining food home. The other plate I love to have is the Chile Colorado. Its chunks of beef in a spicy sauce, with the sides of rice, beans and cup of their fresh guacomole sauce and their homemade tortillas($10.75). You will also recieve free, fresh corn chips and salsa. And at the end of your mill will get sweet, savory prelaine candies.

I know in Los Angeles we have many of these inner cities as well. Such as East Los Angeles – Echo Park and City Terrace, West Los Angeles, South Central Los Angeles – Leimert Park and Watts as well as Hollywood. Many of them make up small businesses and have great restaurants, and annual festivals highlighting their country of orgin and its cultures.

Now you probably wonder why I would mention Los Angeles enclaves. Well I am sure you do realise the diversity of the “Little Town’s”. And this is one of the many things I enjoy about the Los Angeles community. The best of many countries being brought to one community is a difinite highlight of living or visting such large cities. This is not counting the many districts as well in Los Angeles. Los Angeles also has a financial district, clothing district, jewelry district, toy district as well as a few other districts. So you can do one of two things, visit all the “little enclaves” or shop in the many districts, or do both, your choice. Los Angeles is a must definite visit for a vast cultural and shopping experience.

Keifer Sutherland Divorce Decree

Last January, Kiefer had another legal entanglement. Sutherland served 48 days in the Glendale jail for his second DUI conviction and violating probation.

Jack Bauer will be back this Novemeber. Fox announced a two-hour “24” prequel to the upcoming seventh season will air Nov. 23. The two-hour episode, shot in South Africa, will open the new season of “24” that starts in January.
