Dear INXS.com Members

We wish to inform you that INXS.com is being moved to another server, so we are taking this opportunity to revamp and redesign INXS.com.

All your favourite features will return, as well as your fantastic blogs, comments and photos which will also be integrated into the new website as soon as possible.

The site in its current form will come to an end on the 20th March 2009, but will still be up with limited functionality.

For this reason, all Premium and Community members who joined from Sept. 19 2008, will automatically receive a full refund.

We're sorry for any inconvenience or frustration this may cause. We thank you for coming on the journey with us and we ask for your continued support when the new site is up and running.

1st June

Sleep in till 9:am..!!!!
More Beachley Athletic shooting (Philippe..) to match LB's feet to a China Walk shot.
LB up to Newcastle via RRS training for the night to film Maitland Toyota TVC tomorrow.
Started burning my "eclectic" CD's to our Music Computer...
Quiet night.

2nd June

Raining last night & today.
Drop another pair o' jeans to be taken up.
Food shop.
Bunnings to buy a ladder & get drill bit for towel rail.
Finally put up the 2nd towel rail up in the upstairs bathroom...
Office stuff & more "eclectic" CD burning.
LB up in Newcastle to film Maitland Toyota add then back home by 6:30pm.
Cooked a special candlelit "tuna on mash" dinner.

3rd June

Drop Music Mac to Jess up at Apple Crowy for a hard drive upgrade.
Brunch w Aps in Crowy at "Crowzone."
LB lunch w the Random House book girls.
Get copies of "Kick" & "Live Baby Live," & reissue CD's from the Coachouse.
Crowy to p.u. new hard drive computer.
Lotsa rain..
Supply shop then home.
LB a Benny massage.
Load up the new HD on the Music computer.
Wild & woolly weather...
Dinner w the Francis's at their house.
Yum roast.

4th June

CD's a burning...
LB off early to Scenar, then cancelled training so home for brunch.
Drop LB to the ferry to go to a city meeting.
Office stuff.
P.U. LB from Manly Wharf at 4:pm & p.u. repaired jeans.
Home for a quiet night.
LB cooked Mex. tofu for dinner.

5th June

LB to training then fly up to the Goldy to do an Oakley Shoot for the next few days. Drove her to the airport for a 10:50am flight.
Home via Dee Why for mail & banking.
Out to try find a rubber washer for the broken blender...
Quiet night.

6th June

LB up the Goldy doing Oakley Shoot.
Mail and stuff.
More stormy weather...

7th June

LB up the Goldy doing Oakley Shoot.
Finally sunny today.
Clean up the garden after the storms...
Walk to the ferry & off to the "Come Together" band fest at Luna Park.
Loved "I Heart Hiroshima" but disappointed with "Faker" (the headliners).
Hung in the Band/VIP area a lot of the day.
Played pool and mostly hung out w the guys from "The Galvatrons."
Avoided the AfterParty at "Will & Toby's & caught a cab home...

8th June

LB up the Goldy doing Oakley Shoot.
Harris farm for supplies.
Cooked up a big Thai curry.
M&V up for the night at lunch time...
Settled in for the rainy day of Sci Fi.
"Ironbark" delivery for dinner.
Square eyed and bed round 10:pm...

9th June

Up & eventually watch some "Enterprises."
1:30pm off to p.u. LB from the airport as back from the Goldy early..
M&V out to get some nibbley delicacies.
Home to party as M&V stay the night again...
Watched "Apocalypto...." not so party, but awesome film...

10th June

Dee Why for mail & Harris for food shop.
M&V leave today but watched an "Enterprise" before...
LB training then meet w her new management - "5 Oceans" (Nick & Fraze).
Office stuff for me.
LB Beachley Athletic meeting w Dave at ours at 6:pm.
I cooked up a roast chicken dinner for LB & I, and David stayed for dinner as well.
Early night.

11th June

Gardening.
Fix gate buzzer & replace the globe.
Make chicken stock.
Office stuff.
Plumbers round to fix upstairs leaky toilet.
Decided on my 50th birthday party & it shall be at "Will & Toby's."
LB & I off to the State of Origin match at Tapsel's along with a bunch of her work girls...
NSW thrashed by Queensland, 30/Nil...
Home to bed.

12th June

LB early RRS train.
Sent off 50th invites.
"Helingah Mall" for lunch, food shop & LB sort out her phone bill.
LB off to Brooky oval to do an "Eagles Angels" photo shoot.
Cooked up a risotto storm for dinner.
Quiet night.

13th June

LB to training then a trial session of "N.E.T." to work on her hip.
Office stuff for me then go and get the mail & thus more office stuff...
LB a 1&1/2hr interview at our house for an ABC Production on the "History of Surfing."
LB cook a stir fry for dinner.
Watched the Roosters beat Penrith footy game.

14th June

Changed Aps UK flight to Wednesday as Visa still not through...
LB & I lunch w Neil at the "Barking Frog."
"Hellingah Mall" to buy our house a Dyson vacuum.
Food shop for tonight and a bit of clothes shop for LB.
Home & I prep dinner then Smudge & Minno arrive.
Cards & yep, Thai green curry for dinner.
Boys smashed the girls 2 games to half...
Fun night.
S&M home about 10:30pm.

15th June

LB doing "W.W. of S." this morning so drop her at Channel 9 then go take Aps out for breky to "Xenos" in Crowy. Excellent...
Drop her home then p.u. LB and off to the "Stoned Crow" in Crowy for Tapso's b'day lunch..
"Gilly" dropped in for a few drinks.
Home to relax & watch the footy on this cold, blustery, wet day...
Eels vs Tigers.
LB make Nachos for dinner.
Watched 60 Mins & a Parky w the Beckham's & Elton John.

16th June

P.U. mail then "Hellingah Mall" for HCF & update Mum's bankbook.
LB to a NET session.
Drive to lunch w John Laz, Adam Sutton & Lizzy (China Walkers) at "Manta" at Wooly Wharf.
LB met me there.
Great fun to catch up w the China walkers...
LB off to RRS train.
I gave John & Adam a lift to Chinatown then off home.
Early night as LB early start tomorrow.
I started the "Underbelly" book till late...

17th June

LB off at 6:am to do a talk for "Woolies" managers out at Baulkham Hills then training.
Office stuff for me & backup computers.
Mail & food shop.
LB home & go for a surf.
Cooked up Noodle stirfry for dinner.

18th June

LB off to Scenar.
10:am Band Conference Call.
LB film NET session then Ch.9 for "20 to 1" taping from 1-3:pm.
Errands & food shop.
LB home then out for a photo shoot.
LB broke the news that "Will & Toby's" have double booked so now we can't have the venue for my birthday... after all the invites have gone out...
YISH!!! So now, we have 2 weeks to find somewhere else & let everyone know...
Cooked up a prawn pasta dish for dinner...

19th June

Drop LB to the ferry to go do a morning talk to KPMG staff.
Errands mail then home.
Off to get LB from Nth. Sydney & do an 11:am Conference call w the Eye Foundation on the way.
Home.
LB off for a surf & then RRS train.
Shave & get ready then off to Lifestyle Working Opening Party at 5:pmish.
Had a look around & at LB's office... Pretty cool place.
Then to the Eye Foundation Private dinner.
Amazing house...
Nice mixture of people too.
Drinks first then sit down for dinner.
Anne Fulwood interviewed Mark Gillies, & myself which went well...
Finish up & home round 10:30pm. Fun night...

20th June

LB off to Gosford to give a talk then back to Sydney for meetings til mid arvo.
10: am Haircut w Elvira.
Paddo Optometrist to get new glasses frames sorted.
Coachouse to put up Fire Notice from the Body Corporate.
Food shop then home.
Sent out the email w the new 50th Birthday Party venue details.
Watched the footy then bed.

21st June

Gardening.
LB for a surf & I, a swim.
Walk to Freshy shops.
Manly Wharf to meet Carly from "Wyndham" & her fiancé.
Neil's to p.u. LB stuff & go through photos for her book. Catherine up till Wednesday.
Home, get ready then p.u. TF & Buff to go see Michael Bublé at the Ent. Cent.
Park back stage & walk to "BBQ King" for dinner.
Got seated straight away facing the door... "Fish Bowl..."
Head backstage & meet up w Steeve Hennesy (AF's keys tech).
Have a beer & a chat & a brief hi to Mr. Bublé then out to watch "Naturally 7."
Great seats behind the mixing desk.
Fantastic, entertaining show w great lights sound & humour...
Backstage after then give Steeve a lift to the Int. Cont. Hotel.
TF & Buff got a cab home.
LB & I up to the end of tour party in the Hotel top bar.
Great fun chatting to Steeve, crew & band.
Michael eventually up for a few drinks.
Headed home round 2:am...

22nd June

Garry's Birthday.
Syd/Farm.
Breky, tidy up, put the bins out & load up the car.
Harris Farm for Pesto fixings then on our way by midday.
Stop at Bowral Woolies for a few things.
Arrive and unpack, light the fire, etc...
Placed all the "bulls" in the bookcase that I brought back from Mum (& Dad's) collection in Adelaide...
M&V over & LB a Mickle massage.
Made up the usual big batch o' Pesto.
Cards & Vickle pre-made yum dinner w tofu cheesecake desert...
Dubious results in cards as a "new" rule brought in by the girls - can't win on the other teams loss... So, played a deciding hand...
Girls won... Cheats...
Fun night & early to bed...

23rd June

Farm/Syd.
Went through CD's to take home & burn.
LB finish off her Teahupoo story to send to MG for the book.
Made final decisions re the new garden beds with Gary the stonemason.
Farm Meeting.
Lunch of leftover Vickle dinner.
Clean up and off to get LB to her 3:pm NET session in Nth. Sydney but an accident on the M5.
Managed to go round it so only a bit late.
Quick dinner food shop whilst LB treatment, then home.
LB cook dinner.
Watched the Rabitoh's win...

24th June

LB surf, then training and meetings till late arvo.
Mail, fuel up then get my car washed... Crap job so took it back & got a free wash voucher.
Office stuff for me today.
Catherine b'day dinner at Manly Tapas.

25th June

Eye Foundation Press Day.
LB drop me at Manly to jetcat to Sunrise by 7:15am for interview along w Dr. Gina Kourt.
2HD, 2WS, "Charles Wooly Across Aust.?" phoners whilst walk to ABC Ultimo.
Breky on the way.
10:30am ABC-774 w John Faine.
Cab over to Kaz & Aps to fill in time then walk to 2UE as well as 2 phoners w 891-ABC & SEA-FM.
AFTS lunch @ KPMG but couldn't go due to today's Press.
Liv pick me up & off to 2GB, a phoner then to 2MMM w Will & Lehmo. V. funny...
Cab to "Garfish" in Crowy to meet LB & home....
One more phoner to Canberra and that's it...
LB off to Scenar & bring home "Thai & I" for dinner.

LB to a KMart meeting then home for new pesto lunch & the rest of the day off (+ a surf).

Midday off to check out "De Nom" and finalise my party details.
LB a I lunch w Elle (Fairfax internet) @ "Balkin."

Home & LB surf.

Dinner w Liz & Matt at "Stella Blue" in DeeWhy.

28th June

LB photo shoot at Bondi 10-3:pm.
Office stuff then "Star Trek's..."
Shaved off all but my "mo" this arvo.
LB home then went for a walk down to Freshy & back up Highview.
Get ready & off to the AFTS Lawler's ARIA kitchen dinner.
Thought it was for 7:pm but was 7:30pm...
So, 3 couples from the Newcastle office.
Matty in tonight and hung with us for most & spoilt us with extra bits.
Fun night. Home after midnight.

29th June

Sleep in-ish...
Jason over late morning w the boys to drop them off. Sitting them for a few hours.
Took them down to Freshy to play.
Boys had a go on LB's board then freezing, so I walked them home.
LB surf.
Clean them up then had to siphon a whole stack of fish food that Josh threw in (half the container full)... Hopefully the fish will live...
Decided to put a movie on, "Garfield" and then Jason arrive soon after to pick them up...
Watch footy.
Quiet, early night...

30th June

Office day for me and cook up a big ol' soup.
LB RRS train, surf, NET - Session, Scenar, Mail & food shop...
Neighbour over to discuss tomorrows "view" tree lopping.
Footy & other TV then bed.

10:am SA 2MMM morning crew.
Office stuff for LB & I.
Out for mail & errands before lunch.
Home and soup...

2nd July

8:30am Eye Foundation phoner w Jon Wibberley at ABC West Coast.
Shave & get ready then load up the car w clothes & stuff for the shoot.
P.U. Aps and off to an 11:am "Madison" magazine Fathers Day shoot at a studio in Waterloo.
Nick Scott the (Scottish) photographer.
Fun & finish at 2:pm.
Drive Aps around to a bunch of places to drop off/p.u. borrowed shoes & clothes then drop her home.
LB make pizza for dinner.
State of Origin final.
Blues lost...

Mum caught a bus today & the driver got concerned, as she didn't really know where she was going too, so he called the Police. They stopped the bus, got her off then took her to her old place due to her ID... The staff informed the police of her new address & they then took her home... Poor Mum.

3rd July

Big (me) clean the house & garden today...
LB busy all day...
Dee Why for mail, errands, etc.
M&V arrive @ 3:pm
Lou & Crispin arrive @ 4:pm.
LB doing an MBF presentation in the city late arvo.
LB p.u. Thai we ordered on the way home for dinner.
Sat round the table eating, drinking & chatting till 9:30pm...

4th July

MY BIRTHDAY (ouch50ouch)...
Up after attempted sleep in after 6:am flowers from Maggie..!!!
Presents & breky.
Off to the airport (via mail & Northbridge for supplies) to get brother Drew & En arriving from Adelaide round 10:30am.
Home for Vickle cake & champagne.
Lou & Crispin head off.
Soup for lunch and relax.
Birthday massage for me from Mickle/Drew a nap/LB a conference call & try on clothes w Vick for tonight.
Time to get ready then MaxiCab to the Balkan for dinner along w Aps, Kaz, Mark, Lou & Crispin.
Off to my 50th Birthday Party at "De Nom..."
100 showed up and 'twas great fun.
Speeches from Layne, Tim, Drew, a beautiful short Vick one, and me. James Valentine "the Ringmaster..."
Then the hugest Matty Moran chocolate cake.
Partied till midnight then got our MaxiCab home.
More drinks at home and eventually bed at 2:pm.
A most excellent, fun time was had by all.

5th July

Hard arise, and heavy gravity....
LB a surf.
Enza not well so opted for a day on the lounge.
Drew, LB & I off to lunch at Manly Wharf pub w Joy & Gary (got the ferry over).
Drop G&J at Mosman markets to see Kaz.
Off to "Ruby Rabbit" to p.u. all my "booty" & cake.
Home and relax for an hour and open all my gifts, then get ready and all but En off to p.u. Minno & Smudge.
Off to the Swans vs Collingwood game at ANZ Stadium.
Terrible game as the Swans lost.
Left at the beginning of the last quarter.
Drop the Harroldy's home then home and bed for all...

AF away for 10 days up North.

6th July

LB off to do Wide World of Sports.
I cooked up a pesto lunch.
All take En to the airport for a 2:30pm flight.
Off to Paddo for a shop.
Aps meant to fly to London today but flight postponed until tomorrow morning (will she ever get there...).
Home by 5:30pm.
LB made pizza for dinner.
Watch a bit of tele, then an early night for all...

7th July

Up early and off to p.u. Aps & Kaz to get to the airport for a 6:am check in (finally) for Aps to fly to London.
Drop Kaz home and home.
LB a surf while Drew & I get takeaway Curly rolls for breky.
Take Drew to the airport for an 11:25am flight home.
Dee Why for mail & food shop.
LB out for the day & footy out at Telstra Stadium w Stumpy in the evening.
BIG office day for me as haven't done emails since Friday...
Gusset (Guy Delandro) drop by in the evening to eventually pay for the Variax guitar I sold him. Hung out for a few hours...
LB home from the game round 9:30pm... Rabitoh's won...

Aps arrive in London round 9:pm UK time...

8th July

Office Stuff.
Get the mail.
Shave then get ready and off to the Coachouse to film a sequence for a new ABC show called "Lawrence Long -Choose Your Own Adventure."
Good fun but I had to sort of carry it and lead the conversation/humour...
Finished in an hour or so, so home.
Meant to go to Warren Langley's Exhibition in Paddington but more importantly, went to dinner at "Yok" in Manly w LB, Neil & Catherine - Anniversary of Christina's death...
Home to bed.

9th July

Off at 8:am to do an Eye Foundation interview on "Mornings with Kerri-Anne Kennely" w Belinda. Went okay, but didn't really get the key messages out... KAK spoke most of the time.
Off to "Hellingah Mall" for a pedicure.
Home for a quick change then head off to Wollongong to WIN TV to do the "Susie" show. Got there a bit early, so a spritzer at a pub then back to the show for makeup.
Show running late but quite a long chat over 2 segments.
Old mate Scott McRae working there.
Back in the car and a 2 hour drive home...
LB and I tired and grumpy and both huffed off in the car to the Surfboard Charity Auction at "Henry Afrika's" in the evening..
Made an appearance then huffed home...

10th July

Off to the gym via Dee Why for mail.
Update Mum's bankbook.
Office stuff.
3:10pm Eye Foundation phoner interview w Anne Fulwood.
Plant the M&V 'Finger Lime" tree.
6:pm David Hancock book launch at Manly Art Gallery.
LB still pretty sicky...
Fun launch.
Off for average pizza at "Wood and Stone" in Manly.
Home to bed.

Band Conference Call.
Off to Jake's 21st @ "Ruby Rabbit" on my own as LB still a sicky.
Fun night and hung out until very late...

LB & I down to "Honolulu Grill" for lunch.
Quiet afternoon of footy.
LB & I cook a stirfry for dinner.
Early night...

13th July

Syd/Farm.
Attempt to sleep in till 10:am.
Watch Footy round up, egg breky.
Pack up and off to the farm via the Mall to food shop...
Stop in Bowral for a few items.
Got to the farm round 4:pm.
New finished garden bed walls look great..
6:pm off to town for dinner at "Bella" w M&V.
Good food and fun.
Home to bed and read for a while.
Started reading "Jurassic Park."

14th July

"World Youth Day Week."
Farm/Syd.
Stay in bed reading till 10:am then up and make soup.
M&V over and LB a Mickle massage.
Quick Farm Meeting with Rich.
Decided to head back today to deal with it all tomorrow.
So, lunch of soup w M&V and hang out till 3:pm-ish then M&V home.
LB and I clean and pack and head home by 4:pm.
Leftovers for dinner and watch the footy/"Farmer needs a Wife."
Bed and read for a bit.

15th July

Dee Why Gym.
Run lots of errands & food shop then home for lunch.
Office stuff.
Craig White round w the missing season from my "StarTrek" b'day present.
LB up to French's Forest to drop a catalogue to Dave (for his KMart meeting tomorrow)...
Farm soup for dinner.
LB did some packing.
Watched some teev then bed & read for a bit.

16th July

Shave.
Errands & get a bag o' soil to finish planting Finger lime.
Drop LB to the airport to fly to Mexico for the "Surfline" trip.
Home, get ready then walk to the ferry to go to the Opera House for Mike Sheridan's band performance "Resonaxis" at 3:pm.
Interesting and an audience of predominantly Pilgrims (World Youth Day)...
Sat next to Mick Cox's (Rose Tattoo) wife & Jules (Resonaxis Bass player) sister...
Meet them after at the "Opera Bar" for drinks.
Walk to the 6:pm Coachouse Body Corporate meeting. Finally after 10 years, one of the other owners showed up....
Power Thai for dinner then walk back to C.Q. to catch the ferry back to Manly & walk home.. V. Cold and didn't take a jacket today.
Check emails then beds.

17th July

Food shop for casserole.
Home and put the casserole on.
Office stuff.
M&V up for the night for "SciFi fest." at 3:pm.
Eventually settled in & started watching "Battlestar Galactica" eps.
Casserole dinner in which Minckle claimed it "the best thing I've ever eaten..."
On to a few Star Treks then bed round 9:pm.

LB arrive in LA for a day & night. Off to Mexico (US today) TM morning.

18th July

Dee Why for mail.
Watch some SciFi then M&V head home round midday.
Do & finish end of year Tax stuff.
Quiet night.
Watched Manly thrash Parramatta...

LB get to Mexico? - no phone contact for a week...!!!

Get LB's car washed.

Up & DeeWhy for supplies.
Cold today.
The big World Youth Day Finale - Pope address at Randwick Racecourse.
Finally a different meal as have finished the casserole... - tuna, veggie salad & chips for lunch...
A "couch-sporting" day for me. Rabitoh's vs. Tigers - Tigers won.
Found one of the new blackfish floating in the pond. Perhaps Josh Beachley's over feed a few weeks ago finally got to him...

21st July

Drive to the Coachouse and walk to the city for an 11:am meeting with accountant.
Walk back to the car at PP and off to lunch w Ricardo at "Kam Fook."
Off to a 2:30pm Aveda facial/massage/manicure (Jagsey b'day present) in Darlinghurst.
Home for a quiet night.

22nd July

Mail, fuel & wash the Audi.
Hellingah Mall for a new Bamix for the farm.

LB arrive safely in LA & boards her flight home in a few hours.

YAY!!! LB back from Mexico so meant to go out to the airport for a 7:30am arrival but.., delays, delays... So, 5 hours later pick her up.

Home via p.u. Ironbark pizza for LB & my dinner.

Off to Fairy Bower on our bikes for breky.

27th July

Sort through some photo's w LB for her book.
Off to get picnic supplies whilst LB continue photo-ing.
Off to West Head & took the "Flint & Steel" track on foot for about 1&1/2kms.
Went off the trail to a nice cliff spot overlooking Patonga & the Hawkesbury mouth.
Nice, warm day and a relaxo picnic lunch for a couple of hours.
Home by 3:pm & a short nap before watching the Manly vs. Roosters game.
A big storm blew in... Manly got thrashed.
News, 60 Minutes, etc., then bed.

28th July

Sort out some Mum stuff today.

29th July

LB off to the airport early to p.u. Brooke as staying at ours for a few days.

INXS Guitarist Joins Grant Broadcasters

In a first for Australian radio, INXS guitarist Tim Farriss has signed with Grant Broadcasters to present a series of shows from January 1, 2009.

The first project includes "25 Years in 25 Days", a musical retrospective of the hitmakers and headlines of the past 25 Years.

In commenting on the show for the New Year, Farriss says "this is a great chance to be back on radio again but this time instead of playing the music, I'll be talking about it. It's a great opportunity to doing something I really enjoy - talking about the music and the times that have been a great part of my life. I'll be throwing in a few stories here and there that not many people have heard before. So make sure you tune in!"

Rogerson added "this has been one of the most exciting projects we've worked on for behalf Grant Broadcasters. Having Tim on air across Australia from Hobart, to Darwin, to Wollongong and all points in between is a major coup for the group, and I'm so fortunate for having been part of it.

The series of one hour shows has been written and directed by David Rogerson of Strategic Media Solutions in collaboration with Tim Farriss.

Six Pack - Fan Club Premium Tracklisting and Artwork Revealed

Premium members, hitting your postboxes this December is Six Pack, this year's exclusive Fan Club CD compromising six previously unreleased tracks - one by each member of the band.

Tracks come in the shape of the swaggering cowboy-come-Sinatra 'Smokin' Gun' by Jon, instrumentals by Garry and Andrew, a blast of retro beats and vocals from Kirk, a moment of A-chord madness from Tim and the earliest home demo from JD's forthcoming solo project.
