After the past couple of weeks Ipad craziness, people now want to know when they can get their hands on one.
Here are the release dates for the Apple IPad. The IPad will be released in the US, in April 2010.
No specific date has yet bee given, but Steve Jobs, id promise that they would be in shops within 60 days of the launch date.

Their are however different release dates according to which website you visit. A lot of Bloggers are saying late March, but i would prefer to stick to April as the official release.

The Amazon Kindle is a top selling E reader, and the sales figures speak for themselves. Will the Apple Marketing team, try and target that market?, as they know it will almost certainly guarantee sales.

After seeing the Kindle in action, and seeing what the IPad can do, it's hard to wonder whether the IPad will drive down sales of the Kindle. I think that the Kindle markets a different kind of person, the one who only likes to read. The IPad, can do everything else, but not everyone wants that.

Their is so much talk about the Kindle Vs IPad, i too have blogged about it, but i now think, after researching peoples comments on You Tube, and other highly used websites, that most people think the Kindle is a different type of Gadget all together, one that targets people who read, not people who surf.

I really don't like to put the IPad down, but this video is quite good.
I wouldn't say that Pee Wee actually put's it down, he just put's his own, take on the whole situation, and as they say, any publicity is good publicity, even when it's bad. This video is exclusive to Funny or Die, and after the past couple of days, it's quite nice to have the whole situation enlightened.

Looking for videos of the IPad on You Tube?
It seems that everyone wants to watch videos of the new IPad on You Tube, until we can actually get hold of one, the next best thing will have to do, watching it online. First came the unveiling, Steve Jobs, hosting the show, and showing the lucky audience what it can do. We then had the Hands On videos, showing the IPad in action. Let's take a look at the Ipad on You Tube.

This video was extremely popular, but then, people wanted to see it being used. Show us what it does, so here we go.

Watch the IPad hands on video. This is extremely popular, and you can see why. It's the first chance to see it in action. It does seem extremely light, and easy to use. I do see the problem of the IPads being dropped.

140,000 Apps for the Ipad.

Apple has announced that the new Apple Ipad, will have 140,000 Apps available, on the day it's out to buy.

The Apple ITunes store will be the place to get your Ipad Apps, and with almost all Apps that work on the IPhone, they will also work on the IPad. It will also be possible to sync all your current Apps from your IPhone or ITouch with your IPad. With the release of the IPad, Gadget geeks will be expecting something new, and Apple techs have designed brand new Apps, just for the IPad.

What Apps can we expect on the IPad?

Expect the normal ones, Facebook, Twitter which you probably already have. As for the ones that will be new to the IPad? Well, time will tell. Steve Jobs has promised that the IPad will be availble to purchase in 60 days, has he put his foot in his mouth?

Apple has announced that the new Apple Ipad, will be available in the UK in March.

Apple also said that pricing information, will only be released when the time gets nearer, so no one knows how much the Ipad will cost in the UK. The UK market is going to be huge for the Ipad, as well as the US, the UK is one of Apples largest collection of buyers.

Macworld's website is estimating that the Ipad will start at £388 for the basic model, Wifi connectivity and no 3G. The Wifi and 3G model will range between £490 and £693. Overall, this is not a bad price for the Ipad, with some experts saying before the launch, that it could cost up to a $1000, for a basic model. These low prices are great news for Gadget Geeks like me, it means that they are affordable. A basic laptop in the UK, now starts at around £299, so for another £190, we can get the latest technology, and make our friends envious.

Ipad available 3G networks.
In the US, AT&T and Verizon, have the deal when it comes to getting online with your Ipad. The UK, market is not yet a done deal. When the IPhone was launched in the UK, the networking was very exclusive, this is not expected with the Ipad, but nothing more is yet available.

Pre ordering of the Ipad, is not yet available.

Will the Ipad kill the Kindle?

With the launch of the Apple Ipad, Amazon might be worried a little, as it's now the Kindle's biggest rival.

Amazon's Kindle has been a market shaking piece of technology, for the past year now. With the Ipad soon available, will this drive down sales of the Amazon Kindle?
The Kindle now sells for under $260, and has a lrge wireless coverage area. The Kindle is now available worldwide, and with over 400,000 books listed on the Kindle store, it is a book readers dream. The Ipad however, can do this, and so much more.

The Ipad has a listing price of under $500, but you can go up to nearly $900, for the upgraded model. Wireless coverage for the Ipad, well, that will cost you $30 a month on 3G, the Kindle, that will cost you, nothing. The Kindle, is now available on your Iphone and soon for the Mac. I don't think Amazon should be worried, as the Kindle is built for Book Readers, where as the Ipad, is built for Laptoppers, the ones who love a new gadget.

The launch of the Apple IPad yesterday has been met with overwhelming joy and excitment for most people. Their are however, the people wondering, what all the hype is for.

After yesterdays massive media coverage of the new Ipad, todayis the day, when the reviews start to roll in, and i have to say, a lot of them are bad. It's important however, to take these comments with a pinch of salt, as most people who are giving negative reviews for the Ipad, have never used one. A lot of reviews and comments are about the difference between the Ipad and a laptop, and i have to say, i don't really see the difference.

The Ipad has the 10" screen, and according to most comments, they dont see the fuss. Apparently, Steve Jobs and the whole Apple team, made the 10" screen one of the big selling points. " Watch your movie on your 10" screen. I'm gonna stick with the 57" HDTV " one person commented on You Tube.

Time will tell for the Ipad, and until those Ipad Apps start to appear on ITunes, we have no idea what the Ipad can really do.

Best comment of the day - " its the laptop killer"................Well maybe.

The Ipad is now here, but does anybody want it? You bet they do.

The new Ipad will have newly created Apps, just for use on the Ipad.

Apple is not wasting anytime or money, they are going all out with the Ipad. The newly created Ipad Apps that have already been released to the public, include-

New York Times App. This one is nothing new, but according to those who have sampled it, it's quite useful. The Ipad is almost the size of a newspaper, so using the Ipad to read the news, looking good to me.

IBooks. Most people have heard of this, but it's looking good for the Ipad.
