The G9 may be expensive, but you do get a lot of quality for your money, making it my recommendation if you want the best gaming mouse.

Worth considering
Logitech fans will have spotted that the G7 is missing, the cordless version of the G5. I generally prefer corded mice as they tend to be lighter (no batteries tucked away inside the shell) and don’t suffer from the lag that you can experience with cordless mice. Having said that, the G7 is no slouch. If you really want a cordless mouse, the G7 is the one to go for.
Another notable omission is the Razer Diamondback, which was recently re-released with the 3G infrared engine from the Deathadder. The Diamondback is an old but popular design, and this update should help it to sell a few more units.
Left Handed Gaming Mice
Sorry, but if you’re a left-handed gamer then your choices of an ergonomically designed mouse are limited. Probably the only left-handed mouse worth considering is the Logitech MX610, other than that you can choose from the various ambidextrous mice on offer, such as the Razer Copperhead.

The HTC Hero has been an object of lust for some time now for gadget enthusiasts. Even from the earliest days of leaked hardware shots and blurry demo videos of its UI, smartphone fans seemed to agree that the company had finally achieved what has been missing in the world of Android. Namely, a polished and attractive device -- polished enough to go head-to-head with the iPhone -- that kept its open source heart. So, here we are months later with an actual, bona fide Hero in our midst. Yes the reports were true, it is a beautiful device, both inside and out (though of course opinions differ on that chin). But does being a beautiful device mean Android is about to move to a bigger stage? Is HTC's spit-shine enough to overcome some of the hurdles that have plagued the platform? That question -- and more -- is answered in the text below, so read on for the full review.

PUMA PHONE roars at the MWC, sports-minded and eco friendly

Now, here’s a handset that’s keen on sports - the PUMA PHONE. This gadget loves it outdoors and doubles as a sport tool (e.g. a bike speedo). The PUMA phone thinks green with a solar panel on the back and an eco friendly box.

PUMA posted a teaser site a few days back that caught our attention. The curtain's now been lifted. The PUMA PHONE was developed by PUMA and Sagem (haven’t heard that name in a while, have you?). It’s very nature friendly and will help you get back into shape too.

Let’s see what we’re dealing with - the PUMA PHONE measures 102 x 56 x 13 mm and weighs 115 grams, which is great because you can’t run with a huge slab of a phone. On the front, there’s a 2.8” QVGA touchscreen, and on the back - a 3.2MP camera with LED flash and a solar panel with charge indicator. Overall, the specs are very reminiscent of the Samsung S7550 Blue Earth.

We already mentioned the bike speedo, but there’s a run tracker too (both use the GPS receiver), a pedometer and even a sailing compass. The PUMA PHONE also packs a music player, an FM radio and a stopwatch, which are essential to any work-out.

Icon messaging and video calling will keep you in touch and there’s a scratching turntable app, just for the fun of it. It’s the “sarcastic calculator” that caught our attention though - that and the “on-demand digital cat”. The cat is named Dylan by the way.

Back to the specs (or as PUMA call them, the “geeky” and “extra” stuff), the PUMA PHONE has 7.2 Mbps HSDPA and 2.9 Mbps HSUPA, a 880 mAh Li-Ion battery that’s good for 350 hours of standby and 5 hours of talk time and 24 hours of music playback.

The connectivity is rounded off by Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, a 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB port, A-GPS support and a microSD card slot.

The UI on the PUMA phone is based on a carousel and aggregates media content services and pulls live sports feeds.

The PUMA PHONE will be available from operators in greater Europe and online on the PUMA store starting April 2010. Saving that 400 euros already?

24 of the biggest mobile services operators decided to make an alliance for distribuing the mobile applications on a market wich is dominated by Apple. Among the 24 we can find names such as...Vodafone, Orange, Sprint and China Mobile.

Named by default Wholesale Applications Community, the alliance wants to ease the process for the apllications developers, in selling their developed programs.

The apllications market has a value of over 6.2 billions dollars.

Interfata te duce cu gandul la un iPhone al viitorului. Este deosebit de curata si intuitiva.

Un nou update al versiunii de soft 3.0 pentru iPhone e online pentru developeri.
Se pare ca Apple a inceput sa dea drumul acestor update-uri cu o viteza considerabila, intervalul dintre update-uri fiind mai mic de 2 saptamani.

Ce se schimba in aceasta versiune:
1. Setarea MMS nu mai este vizibila in meniul Settings.
2. [in curand]

Pentru a upgrada la aceasta versiune aveti nevoie de:

iTunes 8.2 (Download iTunes 8.2 x64 ; Download iTunes 8.2 x86 ; Download iTunes 8.2 MAC OSX )
si pentru iPhone 3G: iPhone 3G 3.0 beta 5 part1; iPhone 3G 3.0 beta 5 part2 ; iPhone 3G 3.0 beta 5 part3 sau pentru iPhone 2G: iPhone 2G part1 ; iPhone 2G part2 ; iPhone 2G part3

Procedura este acceasi ca si in cadrul unui update normal de firmware custom.

ATENTIE: basebandul se modifica asa ca solutii ca yellowsn0w nu vor mai functiona!
Nu uprada decat daca esti sigur ca ai un telefon deblocat pentru functionarea in orice retea direct de Apple.

Terminator Salvation iPhone

In curand, mai precis pe 19 mai un nou joc va lumina ecranele iPhone.
Acesta se numeste Terminator Salvation, fiind facut dupa filmul cu acelasi nume.

Jocul este finalizat si a luat deja drumul aprobarii Apple Store.

Oricum, arata super bine :)

MYST pentru iPhone

Binecunoscutul joc MYST este acum si pe iPhone.
Jocul are nici mai mult nici mai putin de 725 de mega iar instalarea ocupa 1.5G
Grafica este foarte asemanatoare versiunii PC, desigur controlul a fost optimizat pentru iPhone.

Hysteria project este un joc care care aduce imagini cinematice pe ecranul iPhone-ului. Practic intrec jocul este realizat din mici filme, facute special pentru a da fiori.

Potrivit BusinessWeek se pare ca Apple ar fi in negociere cu Verizon Wireless pentru lansarea unui nou tip de iPhone precum si a unui Media Pad sub sigla Apple.

Noul iPhone va fi o versiune redusa atat ca dimensiuni cat si ca cost a actualului iPhone iar Media Pad-ul va fi asemeni unui TabletPC avand de asemenea si Touch Screen.

Verizon Wireless este cel mai mare operator de telefonie mobila din SUA, si se pare ca acesta ofera si cele mai bune servicii.

Apple este interesat de piata enorma pe care o reprezinta Verizon Wireless.

contra:

Contractul Apple - AT&T ce confera exclusivitate AT&T pe piata Americana;
Exclusivitatea Apple asupra Apple Store (Verizon Wireless are propriul magazin de aplicatii)

De mentionat este ar fi ca Apple a adus 7mil de noi abonati retelei AT&T.

Premiul oferit celui care a descarcat aplicatia cu numarul 1mld a constat in: $10,000 iTunes gift card, un iPod touch, un Time Capsule si un MacBook Pro.

apropo.. oare cati bani a castigat apple in urma vanzarilor de pe Appstore? tinand cond ca 30% din pretul unei aplicatii le intra direct in buzunar?

... si totul in numai 9 luni de la lansare :)

Grafica este exceptionala, cu mult mai buna decat cea de pe DS.
Este intradevar un joc care merita jucat!

Feeds - este probabil cel mai usor de folosit rss reader dintre toate pe care le-am testat.

Se integreaza perfect cu contul Google Reader si mentine toata functionalitatea acestuia.
Poti face bookmark-uri, da share la feed-uri sterge si trimite pe mail.

Interfata este extrem deusor de folosit, chiar si de cei noi in domeniu.
Un alt lucru de remarcat, ce nu este intalnit la toate readerele de acest gen, este faptul ca suporta ca si continut inclusiv pozele din feed-uri.

Luati stirile oriunde cu voi!
Versiunea pro poate fi gasita in sursa deja cunoscuta: appulous

Daca te-ai saturat sa adaugi sursa dupa sursa in cydia, afla ca le poti adauga si pe toate odata.

Cum? Chiar foarte simplu:

1. Adauga urmatoarea sursa in cydia: Steffwiz - http://steffwiz.webs.com/iPhone/Repo
2. In fereastra de Search scrii: All sourceas, dupa care apesi butonul search,
3. Instalezi pachetul all sources gasit anterior, dupa care repornesti cydia.

Acum vei avea cam 90% din sursele oficiale.

Da, este posibil, si este chiar simplu.

in cazul in care sunteti in reteaua Vodafone puteti folosi o cartela dual sim pe care o veti primi in momentul in care apelati la serviciul Vodafone Numar Dual. (Numar Dual)

In cazul in care doriti sa folositi orice tip de cartela atunci va recomand o cartela dual sim online subtire: (Dual Sim Online Subtire) este destul de dificil de introdus in telefon, dar merita, si se potriveste perfect cu firmware-ul iPhone-ului.

Atentie, in cazul iphone 3G, va recomand sa razuiti partea din interior unde se introduce tavita cu cartela. Nu se observa absolut nimic si nici nu stricati nimic.

Acum partea de soft.
Pentru Vodafone va recomand tutorialul regasit aici:

Insa folosind fisierul acesta: (Vodafone RO 2.2.1)

Diferenta este ca acesta are incluse si setarile de retea, astfel incat atunci cand faceti trecerea de pe un numar pe celalalt se vor introduce automat si setarile internet.

Vom începe acest blog cu un fapt trist, dar real. Un iPhone se poate strica folosind o agrafă de hîrtie.
