TinyUmbrella Adds iOS 4.3.5 Support And Optional iPhone 4 Baseband Update

The newest version of TinyUmbrella not only adds support for iOS 4.3.5 to save SHSH blobs, but also adds an optional feature whether to update or not the iPhone 4 baseband. According to TinyUmbrella’s blog post

First, the version you WANT to restore to and the version Apple is currently signing must BOTH have the same baseband. This is important or else the baseband update will not work and you will get a 10xx error and need to use fixrecovery. (Works for iPhone 4 – will not work for iPad 2)
Second, you need to realize that checking the box WILL UPDATE YOUR BASEBAND.
Third, I’m working on a simple tool that will allow you to create a pseudo-custom firmware mixing a new baseband with an older iOS version (one that is jailbreakable for example). This feature exists in the TinyUmbrella rewrite but does not yet exist in the older codebase. SORRY! I’m working on it!

I do not save your ‘UPDATE iPHONE 4 BASEBAND’ setting. If you wish to restore while updating/restoring your iPhone 4 baseband you must check that box every single time you run TinyUmbrella. It is just safer that way.

So, before you accidentally update to iOS 4.3.5 make sure that you have saved the SHSH blobs of iOS 4.3.4 to downgrade.....

How Iphone in DFU Mode....

Step-by-Step

1. Turn the iPhone ON

2. CONNECT it to the computer with a DIRECT USB connection.

3. Make sure iTunes is open so you'll know when it enters DFU mode.

4. HOLD the Power/Sleep-Wake button AND the Home button for 10 seconds.

5. RELEASE only the Power/Sleep-Wake button and continue to hold the Home button.

6. WAIT until iTunes recognizes the phone in DFU Restore mode (in Windows a bubble pops up saying it
recognized new hardware "DFU Mode" or something to that effect)
The last step may take SOME TIME, like, say, even 60 seconds or so.
The screen should be OFF (black), if you see the "Connect to iTunes" logo, START OVER.
It may take a few tries to do the steps just right, just reboot
(hold both Power/Sleep-Wake AND Home until the Apple logo appears and the phone turns back on) then try again.

7. Then restore the iphone

1. Turn on bluetooth headset
Turn on the bluetooth headset to make it discoverable (usually done by sliding the power on / off button.

2. Turn of iPhone bluetooth
Goto iPhone Settings > General > Bluetooth
On the bluetooth settings page, turn the bluetooth on. Once turned on, it will search for discoverable devices and will show your headset listed there too.

3. Connect the headset
Once the bluetooth search for devices and lists your headset in the Devices list on your iPhone, click on the headset to pair it with your iPhone.
You are done with pairing the headset. Now you can use it to make calls and other stuff using it as your input (mic) and output(speaker) device.

4. Call using bluetooth headset on your iPhone
Now to Call using the bluetooth headset on your iPhone, dial the number you wish to call. Once the call is active, you will see one additional icon on the screen saying audio source. Click on it and it will show you available options as audio sources. Select the name of your bluetooth headset to chose it as the audio source and you're done! Now you can use your headset as your audio source for iPhone and your hands are all free!
You can use any bluetooth bluetooth headset for this. Connecting iPhone to bluetooth headphones is almost similar in all cases.

2.go to the Manage section.

3.Once in the Manage section, go into Sources. Click edit and then click add.

4.Type in cydia.hackulo.us Then click add source. *If you get a mess that says unknown date format just click okay* MAKE SURE YOU TYPE IN EXACTLY AS IT SAYS OR IT WONT WORK.

5.Your iPhone/iTouch will respring itself. Now, hit return to Cydia. You will now see Hackulo.us as a source and click done.

Key member of iPhone Dev Team has confirmed that no unlock solution will be available until after iOS 4.2.5 or official iOS 4.3 whichever is the last is out. The developer has said this statement after the Verizon iPhone launch and iOS 4.3 beta 1′s arrival.
Here is what MuscleNerd has tweeted:

"Official iPhone unlock statement: no unlock will be released until after 4.2.5 or official 4.3 (whichever is last) is out"

As we know that Verizon iPhone will be using iOS 4.2.5 and it is going to hit the market starting from Feb 10. So one thing is for sure that you are not going to get any unlock tool before this date.
Secondly, iOS 4.3 is in its first beta version. We cannot confirm when Apple removes this beta tags and

how many beta are going to come. So till that time no hope for any unlock solution from the iPhone Dev Team.

The iPhone came with a few apps that I never use. I don’t use the stocks or the iTunes apps.

The Obsessive Compulsive in me was demanding that I remove these icons from the menu.

This walkthrough is a quick step by step on how you can hide menu icons of unused programs.

1. Install BossPrefs. This is a app that can be found in the utility section of Cydia..

3. Tap on the Hide Icons button on the bottom of the BossPrefs screen..

4. Scroll down the list to find the icon you would like to hide. Tap the ON switch to
turn it to off in order to hide an icon for the app.

This does not remove the app from your phone, it merely hides the icon. This is very
useful for apps that you cannot remove such as the apps that come installed on the phone from the factory.

2.navigate to /var/mobile/library/preferences/
3.find "com.apple.springboard.plist
4.delete that file
5. on your idevice navigate to settings/general/restrictions
6.it should say off and you are able to edite your restrictions and set a new passcode

A-a very esay simple and safe way for 2G and 3g (not for 3gs and 4g) different sim card..Only flash with 3.13 with Itune ..Jailbreak with redsn0w 9.4 using 3.12 frimware(must )not using 3.0 or 3.1.100% solution..tested..
