Cycling activities include Mountain Biking, grass track and speedway racing, bike maintenance , security and disability cycling.  Off the bike, there are refreshments, trade stalls and a BBQ.

Kirsty will be doing two coaching sessions during the day on the grass track for British Cycling as part of the days events.

http://www.tourseries.co.uk/venues/ipswich/index.php  This will be the Final event of the 11 round Tour Series professional cycling race series and is anticipated to attract in the region of 15 – 20,000 spectators. 10 of the UK’s top professional teams will compete for the Tour Series title.

In our promo area we are displaying the club banners and promotional leaflets, but this is an opportunity to talk to the public about the benefits of cycling, whilst meeting other promoters on what should be a great day for cycling in the area.

We need to man the stand between the hours of 1000 and 2200. I can go early for the setting up, but would like others to take part in promoting the Club to the public for the remaining hours. Activities will commence along the Start/Finish straight outside the Town Hall at approximately 12.30pm with a programme of community activity and races, which will be followed by the elite racing and Adnams corporate race later in the afternoon and running though until 9.30pm in the evening. 2013 see’s a brand new full day of racing for all at Trinity Park Ipswich Sunday 9th June.

The popular Wednesday night series commences for 6 weeks from 12th June through to 17th July.
