There are situations when we must not use the word "Iran". In Persian we stick to this rule very carefully, we will use the word "Hezbollahi" or "Hezbollah", to describe those people who have those particular ideologies. We do not say, "An Iranian killed an Iranian woman, for wearing a mini-skirt" do we? We say, "A Hezbollahi killed a .... ". So why is it that the such reports are spun differently, when it is written in another language.

At the time of the Shah, we had the mainstream media acting as the mouth piece for the "people". The Communists would send their dates for strikes, and the BBC would announce them. It was beautifully orchestrated, and it castrated the largest power in the Middle East. The main stream media never did again, and that is why the Ayatollahs are still around.

So the Iranian Bloggers got going, and the main stream media still ignored them. The Iranian Bloggers are second largest in the world, after the English speaking ones. Why? Frustration that is why. When the Ayatollahs locked up all the media in Hilton Hotel in Tehran, the Iranian Twitters started, and Twitter became a world phenomenon. CNN set up a Twitter room to keep in touch with events in Iran. Why? Because they wouldn't dare report anything that would change the regime.

The Ayatollah are good for the military industrial complex of the US and the funding of the US military. The Ayatollahs are loved by the oil companies. Quo Bene? US and their production facilities in China, as it gets almost free fuel from Islamic regime.

If the US wants to change the regime, all it has to do is to ask Charlie Rose, Christianne Amanpour, Ali A Darteini and a host of others to ask chic questions, like "what would the Ayatollahs do if there was a general strike?" But they don't.

Well it is not that strange if you look at it all from a completely different angle. The neocons needed to have a new target after the Soviet Union collapsed. The Ayatollahs and their friends in 1979 which included the MKO, where more than willing to do all the nasty things the Shahanshah did not want to do. To recall, the US wanted the Shah to wage war against Saddam and the Shah had bought a lot of weapons, and wanted the US out of the area. US neocons wanted a bogeyman, and the Ayatollahs' Islamic fanaticism wanted to take over the world. So the Ayatollahs were the perfect punch bag for the US military industrial complex who supported the neocons. Now ask any Iranian and they will tell you that MKO are just as mad as the Ayatollahs and they did a great job of promoting the false fear to get the world to buy the military equipment from US factories. The missile makers of USA have a lot to thank for from what the MKO and Ayatollahs have done for them. This fake fear has driummed up the price of oil and the oil companies have to thank the Ayatollahs as well. The last thing these industries want is the peace dividend. Imagine a nuclear free Iran and no threat to Israel. That would dry up all those massive military orders.
