It was a short segment to test sound and simply introduce the show.

It is said that one in every five or more Americans has an Irish grandparent. That's a rich heritage for our country, and while we are Americans, it is joy to celebrate our roots, and the culture and traditions we have within us. This show is inspired by my own Irish grandparents, and particularly my grandmothers, Nellie Farrell who passed the traditions to our family, and Ann Lawlor who passed a great strength to her children and grandchildren. Two great women from a culture of great women.

This show will share music, stories, family histories, and the lives of Irish Americans.

This is intended to be a joyful program and an inspiration to those new to America--Failte!
Visit The Rose of Sharon Shop
