Within about 90 seconds I got a response asking me for a response to a private question. I gave the answer and within a few minutes my account was restored.</p> <p>The only thing I can think of is that they assume that if your account is compromised, so is your e-mail address. I've been e-mailing facebook since Monday but haven't gotten a response. Their customer support consists of sending them an e-mail and waiting. I'm now on day 3, so far no response, not even an automated "we have received your e-mail and are processing your request" message.
