The story started with claims that Nibiru, a supposed planet discovered by the Sumerians, is headed toward Earth. Zecharia Sitchin, who writes fiction about the ancient Mesopotamian civilization of Sumer, claimed in several books (e.g., The Twelfth Planet, published in 1976) that he has found and translated Sumerian documents that identify the planet Nibiru, orbiting the Sun every 3600 years. These Sumerian fables include stories of “ancient astronauts” visiting Earth from a civilization of aliens called the Anunnaki. Then Nancy Lieder, a self-declared psychic who claims she is channeling aliens, wrote on her website Zetatalk that the inhabitants of a fictional planet around the star Zeta Reticuli warned her that the Earth was in danger from Planet X or Nibiru. Only recently have these two fables been linked to the end of the Mayan long-count at the winter solstice in 2012 – hence the predicted doomsday date of December 21, 2012.

A reversal in the rotation of Earth is impossible. It has never happened and never will. There are slow movements of the continents (for example Antarctica was near the equator hundreds of millions of years ago), but that is irrelevant to claims of reversal of the rotational poles. However, many of the disaster websites pull a bait-and-shift to fool people. They claim a relationship between the rotation and the magnetic polarity of Earth, which does change irregularly with a magnetic reversal taking place every 400,000 years on average.

As far as we know, such a magnetic reversal doesn’t cause any harm to life on Earth. A magnetic reversal is very unlikely to happen in the next few millennia, anyway. But they falsely claim that a magnetic reversal is coming soon (in 2012) and that this is the same as, or will trigger, a reversal of rotational poles.

I am surprised with what and how NASA is recently trying to conclude about 2012. The NASA's Talk Shows 2 years back differs totally from their recent Talk Shows in the sense that they are now making conslusions of "No Threat to Earth in 2012". There are videos on this website (on the left side) which shows that NASA really did exaggerate about the 2012 reality. To my knowledge and as the site owner, I suggest you all to think again. It is too early to confirm that 2012 will actually be the end of life. The whole point of the Mayan calender is that their system just ran out of numbers... a bit like the Y2k.. thing.. everyone predicted the end of the world because our computers had similarly ran out of numbers. Are we safe for 2012? Recently, NASA found water on Moon. Since man first touched the moon and brought pieces of it back to Earth, scientists have thought that the lunar surface was bone dry. But new observations from three different spacecraft have put this notion to rest with what has been called "unambiguous evidence" of water across the surface of the moon. Read more below....

The moon remains drier than any desert on Earth, but the water is said to exist on the moon in very small quantities. One ton of the top layer of the lunar surface would hold about 32 ounces of water, researchers said.

"If the water molecules are as mobile as we think they are — even a fraction of them — they provide a mechanism for getting water to those permanently shadowed craters," said planetary geologist Carle Pieters of Brown University in Rhode Island, who led one of the three studies in Science on the lunar find, in a statement. "This opens a whole new avenue [of lunar research], but we have to understand the physics of it

to utilize it."

Finding water on the moon would be a boon to possible future lunar bases, acting as a potential source of drinking water and fuel.

Roland Emmerich: Well, I will go ski. It is December 21st, which is skiing season. I will choose the highest mountain there is. If the world ends, you know, what can I do? If not, I will ski down.

John Cusack: I will try to get on Roland’s trip!

Amanda Peet: Yeah, can I come?

Chiwetel Ejiofor: I don’t ski, so I can’t join them. Besides, I think avalanches are something to worry about, so I’ll just spend it quietly with family and friends and hope for the best.

Amanda Peet: I am kind of a hypochondriac, and I worry about a lot of things, so I’m really going try to not worry about it too much.

Cusack: What I think will happen [is] a shift in consciousness, rather than an actual end of days.

Q: John, what attracted you to this film?

Cusack: I read the script and it was a real page-turner. They have this scene where Rome burned and Paris fell. How do you shoot that? Then the catastrophes got bigger and the places where the characters were safe got smaller. The movie actually got more intimate as it went along...I haven’t seen that with most action films. I thought that was really clever.

Q: Do you think of this film as a sort of cautionary tale?

Emmerich: I don’t think the film is to warn about anything, so it is not a cautionary tale. Only what is important in life and what is savable, and how should we save things. I am always a little suspicious of governments, so it is also an expression of that. Then I always think movies have to be fun. If a movie is not fun, I don’t want to do it.

Cusack: I think it also taps into the paranoia around the world.

Ejiofor: People tend to find great unity in tragedy. I think that is one of the things this story talks about.

Q: What would you like audiences to take away from this film?

Emmerich: It is about survival and regular people becoming heroes, and I think people can identify with that. They will ask themselves if they would be as brave as Jackson Curtis. That is what I hope they take from it. We cannot make a movie like this and end it badly. It would be kind of sad. In a sense, this is modern retelling of Noah’s Ark. There were survivors and at the end there is hope. That is exactly what we wanted to convey.

We all heard about the big one in 1859 and it looks like we are not far away from another one coming our way. Prepare for 2012

In case of a catastrophic event on December 21, 2012 I would like to supply a preparation guide to help get through in case of an emergency. There has obviously been a stronger buzz going around about this date that has not only been predicted, but also showing signs of scientific possibilities in recent years. The date is only 3 years away and it's never a good idea to wait until it's too late to start thinking of a game plan.

Constantly pay attention to any natural disasters / changes to the world as we know it and take note of how much more effective these natural changes are becoming.
Have a 1 - 2 month supply of water / non perishable food. This is especially essential in storm prone area's.
First Aid Kit / Medicines. This is something that everybody should have at all times.
Store a sleeping bag / blanket in the back of your vehicle. Even if you never have to use it, it is always better to have it and not use it than not have it and obviously not be able to use it.
Being prepared is not a difficult task at hand. Once you do it, you are set. Spread the word to friends and family and help them in becoming a prepared member in society.

World won't end. It's the Time for Change

In 2012 we will truly be able to experience heaven on earth. For some, this has already started. We are already feeling these changes. There are many people on this earth who have Ascended from the 3D reality to the 5th Dimension reality already. The Earth herself has ascended from 3D to 5D. In 5D time and space are different, they do not exist in the same way as they do in 3D.

Some people think the financial meltdowns etc. are really bad news. It is just a change, different things going on, it doesn't have to be bad news. Everything is perception. A lot of people are being forced to change the way they have been thinking, or the way they have been doing things. So much of the world's issues right now are related to the old 3D ways crumbling. It is a new beginning, not an ending.

The talk of hellfire and hell coming to earth for those that do not accept Jesus(God) into their lives is true in some ways, but not in the literal sense that some organized religions would have you believe. It has to do with those that accept they are the creators themselves. Those that can see and feel their own greatness will truly be creating a heaven on earth for themselves and those around them.

Look at how things are right now. The world financial crisis is HUGE. Anyone who is very centred in, or worships, money or power at this point in time is RIGHT NOW in their own personal HELL. God certainly isn't putting them there. It is their perception of their time on earth that is putting them there. The always wanting more is causing suffering. There is enough on this earth for everyone.

The reality of it is that there is enough for all. The ship for 5D Earth is departing in 2012. There are 6.5 billion reservations available.
