2 Corinthians 11:13-14

Over the years the church of Jesus Christ a group of born-again believers has slowly been demolished by the works of Satan. There once was a time when Christians actually lived a life that personified Christ, but the devil has so destroyed the church to where it’s not uncommon for person to be sitting in church not even realizing that he/she is being lead astray by they Devil. Satan has slowly seeped within the church walls rewriting the definition of Christian until ministers are no longer seeking God, but are rather re-shaping Christianity to coincide with the world. Ministers are not preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, but rather how to gain money, and how to start a business failing to do the most important thing a minister can do "Preach the Gospel!!!!" There is nothing with helping your congregation manage in its finances but when it conflicts with souls being saved, there is a serious problem.

I am so sick and tired of turning on my television only to find so called prophets, and so called Bishops preaching everything but the gospel. They are now teaching you how to make a million dollars, and how to finance a new car but when it comes your souls eternal destination they act like the bible doesn't even speak of it. We find minister instead of "occupying until he comes" being pre-occupied with his coming. Trying to teach members the day he is coming back, as opposed to how to be ready when he comes back. The number one reason for Christ coming wasn’t to heal the sick, it wasn’t to see that you prosper, but the reason for Christ coming was to free you FROM sin."And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." (Mt 1:21) The Devil has come and taken over the "modern day church."

First of all the modern day church is no longer driven my Gods word, or salvation but on economics. We are living in the day and where churches are led by motivational speakers, and economist who don't have a clue about who Christ is. Instead of the preachers telling you the wages of sin is death they'll tell you "God wants to bless you with a new car", or "10 steps to a million dollars" when the bible tells you in one step, "Seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you"( Lk 12:31) . There is not any need in you prophesying a financial breakthrough to somebody on their way to hell. God won't bless a drug- addict with a million because if gets a million dollars, he'll buy more drugs , God wont bless an alcoholic because he'll just more buy alcohol, but if God takes away those sinful addictions then he can bless them. Modern day ministers act as if everybody is going to heaven and nobody's going to hell. One survey found that 50% of Christians don’t even believe in Satan’s existence. The bible says "Be sober, be vigilant; because you adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour:"(1 Peter 5:8) If half of the church isn’t even being taught about the devils existence what are they being taught?
"My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth of me, and they are not: there is none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered."(Jeremiah 10:20-21)

Ministers now are no longer following Gods law, but are now bringing what they think will bring in a large crowd. Pastors will pay secular artist to get in front of the congregation to "freestyle in the spirit", nobody has been slain the spirit by some rapper. God didn't say bring things that are popular in the world into the church so more people will come but he said "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw men all men unto me"(John 12:32)

That is we find young people who have no respect for God or the church because that difference that once separated the church and the world is gone now we find young people coming to church doing the same dances they do in the night club. Coming to church in "du-rags" and "tall-tees" failing to respect Gods house. Ministers can’t win a dying world by mimicking them. You don't win over a homosexual by joining him in homosexuality, if so there wouldn't be very many preachers, but you let the individual know what they are doing is wrong a showing them how to take authority over it through Christ. "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye seperate saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you." (2 Cor 6:17)

There is an obligation on the preacher to preach GODS WORD not your philosophy or good idea.(1 Cor 2:1-5) God will require you at that day of judgment for not warning the sinner that he must come out of his sins.(Ezekiel 3:17-21) It will be a sad day when church members in hell looking at the so called pastor who was to afraid to tell you about the destiny of your soul. Don't let Satan destroy your church. "Preach the Gospel!"

How do I make it to Heaven?

For as long as there are people there will be a desire to hope in something that supersedes death. We are living in a time period where many people's idea of what it takes to go to heaven is corrupt and shaken, there are so many ideas, concepts and plans to make it into heaven, but I sincerely believe the only way we can truly know how to get there is "the word of God" (Bible). As your read this understand that I will be using nothing more or less than Gods word if you can't believe me, I can only hope that you can believe the word of God.

So the question is "What does it take to go to heaven?", some will say if you are quite simply a good person, others will say go to church but if you expect to make it into a holy heaven, with a holy God, you must live a holy lifestyle. "Heb 12:14 "(Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:) you can't live a holy lifestyle following the trends and fashions of this world you must follow after Christ. There is nothing wrong having a good time but if you are a Christian as so many people claim to be you will have to live "Christ-like". You cannot go to heaven indulging in fornication (pre-marital sex) or even SINNING! Stop wait a minute I know what you are thinking "NO SIN!!" are you crazy but once again I tell you don't believe me read Gods word.

Romans 6:23- For the wages of sin
Rom. 6:12 - Let not sin reign in your mortal bodies
Rom 6:2- How shall we being dead to sin
Rom 6:6- Henceforth we should not serve sin
Rom. 6:13- Neither yield your members
John 5:14- Go and sin no more
Ezekiel 18:14 - The soul that sinneth
Hebrews 10:26 - For if we sin willfully
2 Corinthians, 7:1 - Having therefore these promises
Psalms 9:17 -The wicked shall be turned into hell
1 John 3:8 - He that commiteth sin
Matthew 1:21 - And she shall bring forth a son
1 John 2:1 - I write unto you that ye sin not
Jude 24 - Able to keep you from falling

These are only a few but let me help you understand me. No you cannot stop committing sin by yourself it's impossible eventually you would slip up somewhere. "With man it may be impossible, but with God all things are possible." The reason people don't believe it is because you are born with a natural desire to sin, even at a younger age kids sneak and do things they know isn't right. But I’m sooo glad that God gave us power."But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." You need the power of the Holy Ghost, the Holy Ghost is the power and spirit of God, it is to empower you to live holy and do a work for Christ.

Objections to living a sin free life

-So often I hear "That’s why Jesus died, he died for our sins and now he came to forgive our sins and wash them away" the purpose of Christ coming is made plain in Matthew 1:21 "And she" The bible says that Jesus came to free us "FROM our sins" he didn't come to free us "in our sins" Why would God tell you not to sin , give you the power of the Holy Ghost to live a sin-free life, and understand why we are sinning. God didn't send his son down 42 generations so you could live comfortable in your sins, but that you can have power over sin.

-Another thing I hear so often is Proverbs 24:16 "A just man falleth" and yes a just man will fall seven times in the OLD TESTAMENT this is before the day at Pentecost, before Christ died on the cross, and before the promise of a comforter. Yes a just man would have had to fallen several times because there was no power to help him do otherwise. But the bible says now that Christ came "he is able to keep you from falling" (Jude 24) Hallelujah!!

-1 John 1:8 is used as well "If we say have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us" and when holiness or Pentecostal believers read this one verse their faith may be shaken but don't stop at that verse, keep on reading the following verse says "If we confess" he will cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. If I were to clean a window from ALL the dirt there shouldn't be any dirt left on that window, but the fact may remain I may have missed a spot. But when you are dealing with a perfect God, an almighty God, a God who spoke the world into existence he won't miss a spots.

Ephesians 5:27 "That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish."

We must live by the entire word of God you can't choose what’s right and wrong ministers today pick and choose what you can and cannot do. "You can't smoke weed, but you can smoke cigarettes", "you can’t get drunk but you can drink" I take a quote from the very informative book "Knowing the doctrines of the bible" by Myer Pearlman

"... who can unerringly judge of what is and is not essential to salvation? Where is the infallible authority to decide as to which part of the word of God and which is not?"

In other words what man is so wise and intelligent to the point they can pick and choose without any problems what we can and cannot do? No one we, have no other choice but to believe the word of God in its entirety not partially.
Luke 4:4 "And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."

You need the power of the Holy Ghost in your life to make it into heaven

"3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."

You must repent of your sins and not only stop there but turn from them, and you can only do this with the power of the Holy Spirit.
