iPhone reselling tips PART 1

Here I give you many tips I have learned in the last few months of iPhone repairing and reselling. In this series I will talk a lot about my own experiences. I'll talk about websites where I have posted products, methods I have used for purchases, and how to prepare for meet ups with buyers as well as how to approach and buy from sellers. PLEASE BARE WITH ME AND I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE! It is been ages since I have posted to YouTube and I am getting back into things! (Getting wifi! Getting a reliable laptop and camera)...The video quality will suffer as I am posting based on my motivation to keep up the momentum. Stay tuned for quality improvement! Check out my blog! Welcome back to those of you who are returning! And for those who are not already members PLEASE don't hesitate to subscribe. Please comment and like to keep these ideas and conversations going. Any questions? Any advice? Let's hear it!

Night Nation Run LA 2015

Night Nation LA

Pomona Fairplex hosted a 5K run/walk in support of cancer cures. It sure was a chance to celebrate life!

(Event bling. No medals were provided. T-shirt, candy, foam glow stick, and cut off tee were offered in the VIP package. Regular guests got just the shirt).

With over 16,000 participants, athletes, supporters, and fairies alike were able to run and dance the night away. The pre-party set by Boombox Cartel kicked off the night with a set similar to the Irvine Verizon set. Playing many of the same rocking hits he ended the show with at the Verizon event.

The race began an hour after the pre-party. Lines for admission were still wrapped around the fence at this point but they moved quickly.

Some racers waited up to 30 minutes to begin the run. Crowds were thick causing runners to zip around walkers. There were fewer selfie stations than at the Verizon, but the DJs set up along the trails received big crowds who stopped to party between running!

After crossing the finish line runners partied harder at the post-party to the beats of The Made Monster. There were few chances to exchange candy. But as the lights flashed and the kryo sprayed, the PLUR was real.

ASUS G73sw black screen fixed (PART 5)

ASUS G73sw is now back up and running!

ASUS G73 black screen repaired (PART 4)

ASUS mobo.

ASUS G73sw hacked open for repasting (PART 3)

2014-01-15T00:13:00.000-08:00

Opening up this machine was far easier than opening the HPzd7260us! Some of the screws were stripped, but otherwise, a small handy set of basic radioshack electronics screwdrivers did the trick. Simple enough!

ASUS G73sw troubleshooting black screen (PART 2)

2014-01-14T23:51:00.002-08:00

Testing with a NEC monitor. The monitor worked with VGA and HDMI to the Chromebook, but nothing showed for the ASUS. This step showed that the problem may be with the video card on the ASUS.

ASUS G73sw GPU Troubleshooting and Repairs (PART 1)

2014-01-14T23:26:00.001-08:00

ASUS G73sw BestBuy model had some video issues. I tried draining excess power, reseating the ram, reseating the hard drive and connecting to an external monitor. NOTHING WORKED! So I hacked the machine open and went to work. I eventually got it fixed by repasting the GPU after removing all the old paste from a previous factory repair. It now works well! Check out this video series and see if this may help you as well. Mind you, my warranty was already expired both from BestBuy as well as ASUS. I did not want to pay $189 + shipping to have it repaired. So I figured it was more worth my $$ to spend $9.99 on Arctic Silver 5 and learn some skills on my own! I recorded my process just in case it did not work. But gladly it worked!

Oscillator Prototype: Multiple Components

2013-12-24T16:45:00.000-08:00

Oscillators are used in electronic music, which is why I adore them!

In addition to building a synthesizer, an oscillator is a good device to have for playing around with sounds.

You can use physical electrical components along with your digital software instruments, BUT WHO HAS CASH TO BUY ALL THE NIFTY DEVICES USED BY PROFESSIONAL DJS AND MUSICIANS?

An oscillator prototype is a cost efficient way to learn about oscillators and to play around with rates of sound output that you may want to adjust freely on your own.

BASIC COMPONENTS:

Buzzer (5 volts) [soldered black (-) and red (+) wiring]
Capacitors (.33, 22, and 47 mf)
9 volt power supply

I AM BACK!!! Winter Blogging

2013-12-24T16:36:00.000-08:00

Hello People!!!

I am back and on a social media kick while I have some time during break.

Grad school has been consuming my life once more, but gladly this is the last leg and it will be a 5 year run until graduation, BUT I will be uploading content during this season because I have time AND because I will be near my devices in the city where I keep them (since I moved).

Most of my new content will likely be Raspberry Pi and electrical circuit based.

My ASUS G73 is out of commission so I cannot do a lot of heavy computing on this Chomebook.

I would love to make more Propellerhead electronic music videos and 3DS MAX 3d model videos. The apps available for Chromebook just cannot compare to the software on my Windows 7 ASUS.

Stay tuned for more blog posts and videos and website updates.
