because Im still learning how to use my wordpress website cnn

Last weekend a dear friend lost her grandmother in a tragic car accident. It was so violent that her grandmother died instantly. I was deeply moved by this terrible accident and not just because it was my friends grandmother, but also because I felt struck by the concept of “what if that happened to me? Would my friends and family know how much I cared and appreciated them?” That thought startled me so much that I want to make sure that I do this now.
(I’ve been writing this for 3 days)
Of course many of you have heard me say it in person and some even daily, but I want to take this touching observation and turn it into an action that spans beyond my immediate circle. Life is precious, we can be gone at any moment, but while we are here, lets make sure we express how we feel to those important to us.
In closing, I’d like to send my heartfelt prayers to Nina and her family and friends. I know that God has taken on an Angel that she will always look out for you and your family still on earth.

•  Enrico: first on the list, first in my heart. You have given me so many opportunities to focus on my craft and grow into the artist that I am. I will always love you for that. You have been generous, kind, thoughtful, attentive and patient. Not just in regards to bellydancing but to our life together. No matter what happens with us I will always love you. And I will never forget all the beautiful and affectionate things you have done for me. I am beyond a humble thank you, but I offer one regardless.
•  My Family: Mommy, you are my right hand! My daily life would fall apart if you weren’t there to help take some of the burden. You are always ready to help with costumes, food, red bull and hugs. Truly you deserve the crown!
  JC, you are my left hand man! I am so thrilled that we are dancing together again. You are bright, intelligent and have a great sense of humor. The best sister EVER! Thank you for being my assistant sometimes. Soon you will need one too, then we can take turns, hee hee!
• Virginia: For the past 8 years, you have gone above and beyond your role as my teacher and mentor. Whether its sharing your inspirations, giving your time, or extending yourself for me personally: you have never hesitated to help. You shared my greatest joy and have talked me through my deepest sorrows. You have taught me life lessons and dance lessons. I am grateful for all this and more! I wouldnt be the dancer I am today without you. It has been an honor to share the stage with you and WNAA, which is a part of my life that I will treasure forever. Thank you.
• WNAA: Kelly, Amida, Kristy, Carolina, Chantelle, Yvonne, Nina, Michelle, Myra, Yvette…you gals are the best friends I ever had. My real Dance Sisters. We’ve shared the joys and pains and life’s transitions… No matter where our individual lives lead us, you will always live close to my heart.
• Zaina Hart: Your name should also mean Guiding Light! Because your words are intuitive, your gestures are considerate and you are thoughtful in your guidance. I don’t always get the chance to tell you how beautiful I think you are, but when ever I see that light in your eyes, it makes me feel very lucky to have you as my friend!
• Nathalie: I always had fun with you: from dancing in front of the Goddess Store to winning the title at MBC. From very early on, your desire to succeed was my inspiration to follow MY dreams. I admire your hard work and dedication in making your dream into a reality! To me you are the epitome of the “American Dream”.
• Suhaila: You have taught me how to discover, explore and then trust in my own personal expression of the music. Unleashing the creative freedom to be ME onstage and not a concept of myself is deeply satisfying. It was as if you re-introduced me to myself!
• Valerick: Not only do I enjoy our conversations and our laughter but I am always delighted by your dancing and artistry. (The best of both, in one extraordinary woman!) Since we first met, I’ve felt an instant connection with you that I consider unique; I look forward to our growing friendship.
• Kamileh and Lamis:
  You ladies have class! I am always touched by the kind things you say to me. At times insightful and others cheerful. No matter what, always endearing.
• Alina Yllanes: I embrace our times together, for you truly see me for me. Thank you.
• Carmen: my goddess, you are a witness to my growth. I feel fully embraced by your light!
• LeTrice: even though you are far away, we are united. Spiritually connected: my best friend forever, my soul sister.

Im excited that the lovely ladies of my class at the Goddess Store will be dancing a group number at Zully’s 5th Annual Hafla on August 27th at 6pm! Plus, I will also be dancing a solo Looking forward to seeing all the lovelies dance!

Hello friends,

Welcome to my first blog post on my new website!! I am very excited about the new release of this website, as it has been well over a year since my old one came down. I was suffering with out a website for too long, but I didn’t want just any old website, I wanted something innovated, interactive and informative. I wanted style, simplicity and ease of use.

Then one fine day, while my boyfriend was busy getting his new WP website I decided to ask the universe via Twitter to assist me in my desire to get a WP website too. My actual tweet was “ I want a WordPress website, and I want it now”.  I think it was less than a day when Jenaviva from Limelight Design Studio read my tweet and arrived to make my vision come true.

And what a vision to behold: welcome to the internet IsisSanMiguel.com, you are live pretty baby!

I am absolutely thrilled with Jenaviva’s creative work, her vast knowledge and her angelic ability to help me through every single baby step. The result is outstanding and its everything I wanted my website to be. (Jenaviva you are a doll for being so helpful and extremely patient with me and my ‘big ideas’!!  I can’t thank you enough!)
