I knew this style very long ago, from one of my friend, i'm still using it sometime but i wanna also mention that it depends of the material and the size of your shaylah. I love the black chiffon shaylah with cristals, that will arrange very well and also the laced one light colors that will looks so great on you in the summer time and will allow you cool down.
You must try it ! Just watch this video and you will find out how to arrange it .

Airy kaftans

Assalamu 3alaykom ,

recently i have got a beautiful kaftan from Turkey , very soft and thin material on a light rainbow colors. Chiffon materials defines me very well , i love it ! The thing that i dislike is the transparency which i'm not very comfortable with it, means i can't wear it unless i will bring it to the tailor and add some more material under.

I don't understand why they don't make the material double in order to reduce the transparency .

In Turkey i saw many beautiful dresses, the prices cheaper and the bargain could make the price less.

Some 3abaya's and jelabiyah's are more expansive in Turkey than in Emirates, the models and quality are lower but they are best to be bought from Emirates if i have to choose between those countries.

Now i wanna show you my new kaftan, is it similar to those kaftans, when it will be ready i will picture it inshallah.

At least those have got some material under it, not full but there is ...

I wear those types of kaftans on summer hot season.

I found this tips on how to wrap your shaylah, tips given by the famous Rabia designer.

Face up to the facts

Wide, long and narrow face shapes should opt for a hijab which adds volume to their face. Shaylas and wraps generally suit most women, depending on how high or low these are placed on the forehead. Steer clear of triangular hijabs - they do not suit everyone.

Do:

Use a cotton base band under the scarf to allow the scalp to breathe.
Add volume to your hijab with a flower clip under the base band.
Try new colours and experiment with different prints.
Use accessories.
Ask friends and family for advice on what suits you best.
Choose colours that complement your skin tone.
Have at least one each of a black, jewel-tone and neutral scarf.

Don't

Go over the top with heavily-embellished shaylas, unless it’s a special occasion.
Wear synthetic fabric hijabs; it can cause hair loss.
Wear silk shaylas without a cotton base wrap; it will constantly slip off your head.
Layer on many shaylas; it gets hot and makes it seem as if you are trying too hard!

I will start with that kind of dresses for Eid parties, where in some cases we women we are toghether in family, no man there, but that doesn't mean that men won't be present later on at the party :) So those dresses are best to be on family parties , just to feel confortable, but if you wish to use it at some parties kept on different places with non mahrams guests, then is it preferable that you should put under just a lovely turtle plain top or to use the or to take a bolero in tone with your dress or just to put on top a plain black open 3abaya. .

The last ones are pretty nice for a wedding party :)

Another type of scarf which i really love ... it's a kind of chiffon shayla ( looks almost like khaliji style ) along with an under scarf , which seems to me that is looking almost like kuwaity hijabi style.

I don't really remember from which site i have picked up the photo's, but it's just an idea if you would like to personalize your hijab at your local tailor.

I have come across many site to check some nice hijabi caps and i have found this beautiful models.

If u wish to have a chic look, then you may use this kind of hijabi cap.

Sporty Hibaji / Beach Hijabi

I was always confused what should i dress when it came to sport style. I was in a desperate need of wearing something sporty, islamic and modest in the same way without revealing my body as i saw some girls wear ( ex. tide jeans with a tide short shirt that can show ur private parts ). I found now the perfect sporty hijabi style, which will be on my shopping list God willing .

And for the beach i found this:

The beach thing, i prefer in staying away of it for two reasons : to protect my skin face from the damages of the sun and the second reason is the dress.

What you think of those hijabi styles ? Do you like , would you wear them ? I think they are for some special occasions if am right. I herded that some Egyptian girls wear this kind of hijab as a regular hijab and not only at some events. I feel hard to try this type of hijab, not because of the difficulties in creating this shape, but for the fact that my features are not for this hijab style ; it really looks bad on me :) It's just not looking good to all kinds of faces ...
