How To: Detect a Binded Trojan Or FUD Trojan

STEP 1:

Right click it, if you got winrar

installed and you see
“open with winrar” then this
means it was binded with winrar
so def backdoored

STEP 2:
Open it with a resource editor such as
resource hacker/restorator/pe explorer and check the rcdata section
,if theres 1 & 2 entries in it
then its binded

STEP 3:

Open it with a hex editor ,
at the start of a PE header theres always this line “This program cannot be run in DOS mode” , search for it,if it
exists more then once then it might be binded
it depends on the specific app,for example its not unusual for
binders/crypters to have the stub file attached in the resources
also search for .exe and inspect the results,a binded file
drops the files to a temp folder before executing em , so if
you find somethin like this: %.t.e.m.p.%..x.x…e.x.e or file1.exe/file2.exe
then its def binded

STEP 4:Run it in sandboxie ,when a file is ran’d in sandboxie its isolated

(cant access your files/registry, first click the sandboxie tray icon to
open up its Window , then right click the file and click “run with sandboxie”
if you see another process name in the sandboxie
Window then its probably backdoored
(this doesnt include sandboxie rpcss/dcom launch processes,those are legit and
needed for some programs) , thats not all ,
the file may drop another when one of the buttons in the
program GUI is clicked or after you close it , so click all the buttons and close it
just to make sure ,
if you do see other processes then immdiatly click file>terminate all processes
from the sandboxie menu , if a file refuses to run in
sandboxie or its suppose to be a program and it runs
without GUI then it would probably be best to delete it

1. Introduction

RC4:
In cryptography, RC4 (also known as ARCFOUR or ARC4 meaning Alleged RC4, see below) is the most widely used stream cipher and is used in protocols such as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) (to protect Internet traffic) and WEP (to secure wireless networks).

Stub:
A method stub or simply stub in software development is a piece of code used to stand in for some other programming functionality. A stub may simulate the behavior of existing code (such as a procedure on a remote machine) or be a temporary substitute for yet-to-be-developed code. Stubs are therefore most useful in porting, distributed computing as well as general software development and testing.

Builder:
A builder is usually the client to make/do something to a file, and it is supposed to go with a stub. The builder usually allows the stub to simulate the behaivor of existing code, and than it makes the file/does something to a file.

2. Building your crypter.

Now, open up Visual Basic 6 or Visual Basic Portable. To make the task easier, open two Visual Basic 6 programs. One is going to be the builder, and one is going to be the stub.

Now, lets start on the builder. Add a RC4 module, and lets go on. First of all, add one label that says “File Path:”, a text box right beside “File Path:”, a button that says “Browse” or “…”, and another button that says “Crypt” or “Build”. Now, lets add the CommonDialog control. Add a CommonDialog and name it commondlg. Now, lets double click the button that says “Browse” or “…”. Add this code, and I’ll explain it.

The .ShowOpen command shows the dialog.
End With will end CommonDialog1.
And finally, the TextBox1.Text = commondlg.FileName command makes TextBox1.text show the selected filename.

Now, click the button that says “Build” or “Crypt”. Add this code. It explains it, so please take time to read what it says.

MsgBox (“File crypted successfully!”) ‘This is the prompt to show the message that the program successfully crypted the file.

Now, you might have an error that will show you that FileSplit and Pass is not declared. To do so, we will add the declarations on the top of the coding.

so here's a way out:

1 - You need a pidgin .

2 - Download this libfacebook here

3 - Download another plugin called libjson-glib here

Hello everybody!!! Thank you to all of you who are following me and as what I had promised before,I will keep on posting more useful information regarding with my interest and here today, I will let you know a little bit about Network Security.

Network security is one of the most talked-about subjects on the internet, but what is it and why is it important? Network security guards the computers in a network, business, school, or even home, against malicious software and viruses. An unprotected or under protected network will often run slowly and have errors, and occasionally will be knocked out entirely by hackers or malware. Fortunately, there exist solutions to vulnerable networks. Anti-virus software and vigilance on the part of administrators can protect a network and keep it functioning.

Network security operates on a fairly simple principle. Effectively, it identifies a user through an authentication process that usually involves a username and password. It is this authentication system that often leads to problems. The weakness of a network is generally not in the programming of the system itself but rather in the passwords of the users of the network. This is why good passwords are important. A single bad password can result in easy infiltration by hackers, who have sophisticated password-breaking programs.
Assuming a hackergets past the password layer, he still has to break through the firewall.

The firewall, simply put, detects anything that should not be entering the network and blocks it. Unfortunately for many businesses, employees often bypass the firewall using a proxy (a server that allows unreadable data transmission that cannot be checked for off-task workers– or viruses) in order to use sites blocked by the company. Malicious software quite frequently passes the second, stronger layer of defense in this way.
If a hacker gets past the second line of defense (the firewall), the final level of the networks “immune system” kicks in: the anti-virus. Network anti-viruses are necessarily more powerful than those of individual computers, and the cost of failure could be every computer on the network. A single infected computer could leave the entire network vulnerable. For this reason, an anti virus needs to be fast and effective in quarantining infected files, or, in a worst-case scenario, the infected computer. Very few attacks succeed against a good anti-virus, and the news only gets better from there.

Anti-virus programs are quite cheap (to protect a network can cost as little as RM320 a year) and very effective.Despite all these defenses, administrator vigilance is necessary to maintain all three levels of defense. An administrator can detect insecure passwords or even require frequent password changes. Moreover, administrators must block proxy sites to keep malicious software from breaching the firewall. Finally, the network operator must maintain the anti-virus and keep it current by downloading the latest virus definitions regularly. If all these steps are followed, a network is likely to be very secure.

StuxNet: prepare for worse in 2011

Kaspersky Lab's analysis of the most serious virus threats of 2011 has put Stuxnet as the most dangerous.

According to Kaspersky, Stuxnet was the most complex piece of malware in cybercriminals' arsenal to date.

Kaspersky said that an analysis of the worm found that it was designed to change the logic within programmable logic controllers (PLCs) embedded into inverters which are used to control the rotation speed of electric motors. These PLCs operate with very high speed motors that have limited applications, such as those in centrifuges.

"The epidemic also marked the beginning of the era of attacks on industrial targets. The worm is unique in that it uses as many as four zero-day Windows vulnerabilities at the same time in order to infiltrate victim computers, and has a rootkit component signed with certificates stolen from integrated circuit manufacturers, Realtek Semiconductors and JMicron."

The Kaspersky report noted that cybercriminals may have bought these files from insiders or stolen them using a backdoor or some other similar piece of malware.

Legitimate signatures are one of the reasons that Stuxnet successfully escaped detection by antivirus programs for quite a long time. Malware signed by valid certificates can easily circumvent even the modern protection mechanisms built into Windows 7, the report warned. Thus, when a signed malicious driver or an ActiveX component is installed on a system, no warning window appears

"Judging by what we are seeing today, the problem of stolen certificates may become even more significant in 2011," according to Kaspersky Lab's Yury Namestnikov, author of the report 'IT Threat Evolution for Q3-2010'.

Useful troubleshooting for ( March ) IT networking guideline

Hi,it has been quite long haven't post anything in my blog.I have been busy with work as IT tech support since december last year.Effectively today,I will share something in my blogs about networking ( yeah we talk about internet connection,not MLM alright..)

Just want to share some few sample of networking difficulties,If you have a router that running with Windows Vista or Windows 7,do nt be surprise that you'll encounter difficulties to connect to the internet rather than Windows Xp. Yes it is :). I believe that most of you always having issue with these two newest operating system especially Windows 7. Windows 7 operating system is actually slightly different than Windows Vista in terms of network connection and other files and folders.

Give you some example of wireless connection that having issue with Windows Vista. Presume that you have a laptop running with Win Vista connecting to cable modem docsis3.0 and a linksys G-router and you subscribe for 10Mbps internet connection.

First thing that you must know that,you susbcribe for 10Mbps internet usage,that downloading speed is only "UP" to.Computer,which is running with Win Vista is a good choice.Cable modem docsis3.0 which is can achieve speed up to 100Mbps,So for linksys G-router that supports up to 54Mbps which is also can meets the fast ethernet requirement is the good choice.Now,we can say that all of the equipments such as cable modem docsis 3.0 and the router requirements is met with the 10Mbps internet plan and are you sure that you'll not encounter any problem while you use it?

You can't assume that neither I myself.Many ppl encounter problem with "local access only" for the wireless issue.Believe it that,for first time use,you would nt facing this issue and you can surf happily,but remember you might see this difficulties one day.

To solve the problems,is actually not that easy.First,you have to analyze it,diagnose it,identify it and solve it.To analyze is easy,you may ask yourself;Did i do something wrong with my pc,or is it the problem comes from the ISP? Do remember that,If you found something wrong with your Internet connection,no matter what the error is,you need to check the MODEM light first!you need to observe the modem lights,is there any blinkering light or all the lights are stable?If u see the modem is blinking,do check with your networking equipment,because the cause of that problem could be from the equipments itself!If all the lights are stable,do focus for you computer,because the issue is frm the cpe!

Then,you need to check your wireless NIC and check router wireless dhcp,some of the NIC and router dhcp may be incompatibilities with Vista.The first solution that you need to do with the status to be change to "local and internet" or fully "internet"
is to set the tcp/ip manually for wlan:

1)uncheck Qos packet scheduler
2)uncheck Ipv6
3)uncheck for network topology 4
4)uncheck for network topology 6

If you;re lucky,you might see the connection show internet,but if it just shows local and internet only,wht you have to do?Do not panic,if you receive this status,you can connect to the internet but it still nt enough,you only can surf 1metre and half frm the router location! If you step away frm the router more than 2metres,the connection will turn back to "local access".

Another solution is,open up your router web interface,and disable wireless security and use Mac filter.Then switch the security method between WEP and WPA.Moreover,do nt forget to disable ipv6 on the web interface which is on Admin tab.

If still persist,do install the linksys adapter and connect to the adapter or if you have another type of router,you can do the same way as what i stated.

Lastly,do nt forget to update the router firmware.The reasons why I recommend this to updating the firmware is because you can avoid interference for the connection and intermittent issue with the router and etc.

Firstly,I would like to give an explaination about the rumours that you have heard or havent heard about my engagement recently..My future wife who is my GF (InsyaAllah if god's willing)named is Viediana and she live at JB with her parents and she's not Johorian ok?We are getting engage in december this year or maybe early next year.Now,we are preparing for the "hantaran" and there are certain things to be think of before we are getting married.So far,we have our own condominium which is still under construction at Bukit antarabangsa.What we have to think before married is financial stability.Oh surely,I am thinking of it very seriously,and now I'm working on it.Speaking about engagement day,for those of you who knows me well or not very well oh yeah it doesnt matter anyway :P,I am inviting you to attend our engagement day.The exact date will be announced later.So catch ya up at facebook or myspace,and I will create an event activity,so please keep an eye over it carefully.

Heyya..It has been a while I haven't post anything in my blog.I had very hectic days recently..Just had a problems with my car engine's.So its already fixed now and I'm totally grateful and appreciate the mechanics efforts.So Now,I just wanna share some network security tips to my readers about in how to manage and protect ur desktop pc/laptop from the viruses and etc.

Oh wait,before I give u some tips,I think I wanna share something to all my readers..Maybe some of you guys have had formatted your hard disk whenever you think your pc is infected.Just do not ever think that formatting the hard disk is the first solution for you to clean all the viruses.First thing you have to know is by defining where's the virus comes from and get the info of the virus name through the net such as Anti-Virus official site,e.g http://www.kaspersky.com or antivir.com.Then,follow the steps in how to clean the virus in your pc.Most importantly,do not accept any files that are suspicious or do not click the files that you dont really recognized.You also can get infected by downloading the videos and music by using limewire or ares.Just be smart of it,do not open too many ports,and do not forget to keep updating your Anti-Virus weekly/monthly.These are the one of the tips I can tell you in how to keep your OS(Operating System to running smoothly and if you keep continuing this,you would not to install/format a new OS) every year and maybe it can be remain for about 3-4 years or so.

Lemme tell you about the one of my skills in terms of network security.Its about firewall.if you installed correctly,it can keep your information safe from other prying eyes on the internet.The basic firewall that blocks incoming connection attempts which is if u accidentally install a trojan/similar spyware to the program,the information can be sent from ur computer.There are two type of firewall,which is software and hardware firewall.Most ppl(such like home user) just can only use the software firewall such like ZoneAlarm,Outpost etc.Most company(big company) use the hardware firewall which is cost a lots of money to buy.As for home user,the software firewall can be installed easily,but not the hardware.The hardware firewall is quite expensive to buy and there's a steps in how to do the installation.

Speaking of removing items... many people may have noticed that Windows2000 and XP do not present many of the optional components installed during setup. I'm talking about games, MSN Explorer, and others. In Win9x these items were readily accessible via Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel, but Microsoft in their infinite wisdom believe that everyone needs these items.
Navigate to C:\WINDOWS\inf (substituting the correct drive letter and path for ur version of Windows) and open the sysoc.inf file.u may have to Right-Click the file and choose OpenWith -> Notepad to do this.u may also have to enable showing of hidden files to find the folder and file. Examples

Lists all files and directories in the directory that you are currently in.

1)When you boot up your computer put your installation CD in for windows XP. It should then boot up to the windows setup area for which you can create and delete partitions, and format your hard drive with ntfs or fat32.(you can buy the installation cd at computer shops)

2)Just walk through the setup and it should prompt you on what to do next...

Another Method to Format and Create Hard Disk Partition

(Partition)

1)Log on as Administrator or as a user in the Administrators Group. You must have administrator privileges to continue

2)Start the Disk Management utility (Start > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > Administrative Tools , and then double-click Computer Management, click Disk Management)

3)In the Disk Management window, complete one of the following procedures, and then continue to step 2

4)To create a new partition, right-click unallocated space on the basic disk where you want to create the partition, and then click New Partition

5)To create a new logical drive in an extended partition, right-click free space on an extended partition where you want to create the logical drive, and then click New Logical Drive

6)In the New Partition Wizard, click Next

7)Click the type of partition that you want to create (either Primary partition , Extended partition , or Logical drive), and then click Next

8)Specify the size of the partition in the Partition size in MB box, and then click Next

9)Decide whether to manually assign a drive letter, let the system automatically enumerate the drive, or do not assign a drive letter to the new partition or logical drive, and then click Next

10)Specify the formatting options you want to use by using one of the following procedures

11)If you do not want to format the partition, click Do not format this partition , and then click Next

12)If you want to format the partition, click Format this partition with the following settings, and then complete the following procedure in the Format dialog box

13)Type a name for the volume in the Volume label box. Note that this is an optional step

14)Click the file system that you want to use in the File system box.& One can change the disk allocation unit size, and then specify whether to perform a quick format, or enable file and folder compression on NTFS volumes

15)Click Next (format instructions are below)

16)Confirm that the options that selected are correct, and then click Finish.

We went on the February 7th 2009 ,I and my bestfriends pergi this camp and then mmg excited gile la coz first time pergi camping naik 4wd.So,dlm 7am we all headed to the first meetpoint kt Petronas pump station Ulu klang.Lepas tu jumpe la kawan2 facebook kt sana,and gathered up kt petronas pump station kt rawang.That time jumpe la event organizer dr GAPIS CAMP and Snape2Share dr bro alfie.Around 11am we all terus gerak ke camp site kt Sg rasah ulu slim.On our way nak pergi sana mcm2 problem,ada la sorang mamat nie pnya tayar kereta meletup tgh2 jalan.So he changed the new tyre and we moved on ahead to the place.

Sampai la satu tempat nie ,we all stopped by kt waterfall kt tmpt org asli.Lagi satu problem,Moonjay kawan i nie hilang handphone bile tiba kt waterfall tu.Mulalah cuak gile hp hilang,haha..Then dia ride sorang mamat org asli nie pnya motor sbb nak cari hp tu pnya pasal.Sebab ape dia naik motorcycle?sbb jalan nk ke waterfall tu sempit and byk kereta parking kt situ,so nak reverse kereta makan masa plak kan..Mmg panas gile la time tu.Then bila Jay dh p naik motor dgn budak asli tu..hehe "asli" :P ...so i dgn kawan i,wan pun p la kt area rumah org2 asli kt sana.Then bila i dh sampai,i terasa nak cr hp si jay,then cari punya cari... terjmpe kt court badminton..Berjam berpanas kt situ hp dia bertapa,mmg quite tough bole tahan dgn kepanasan..Itula dia kehebatan sony ericson,hehe gempak abis.

So at 2pm ,we all patah balik pergi ke tempat parking kereta,then sampai la kt area rumah brother nie..Rumah dia mmg cantik walaupun simple ditambahkan plak ade kambeng ,bangsal dan ade sungai kt blakang rumah dia.Jam menunjukkan pkul 4pm,so 4WD Vehicle dh sampai so all the participants pun bergerak ke lokasi yang dituju.Sampai je kt Camp site.. "WOW,gile cantik tmpat nie bai"..Mana taknya dh la lokasi tu bebas dr pencemaran,then sungai dia plak elements warna ijau siott...mmg nyaman dan cantik.

So sampai je kt camp site,we all siap2 pasang khemah n then at 8pm something ada persembahan tarian "sewang" dr orang2 asli.So we all pun dengar la lagu dorang.Agak best jgak la..Ditambahkan plak i pun skali menari..shuffle pun termasuk..hahahaha,tektonik n popping je tak :p..so almost 1/2 hours jgak la diorang buat show..sampai nak rasa mengantuk pun ade..hahaha mcm2 gelagat dorang menari..stamina tinggi betul..

hehe nie baru skit je nie,byk lagi..aduhaiii letih plk nk taip..at midnite we all pun buat program sendiri,main daun terup..borak2..dan mcm2 lg la..sampai la time i nk tdo dlm kol 12,dh mcm pasaraya dh they all borak..bkn stakat borak je,gelak ketawa they all kaw kaw pnya ,kalah pontianak gelak,hahahaha..i tdo pun x nyenyak tido sampai la dlm kol 2 ,i bgun n then terpikir-pikir kt my lovely gf sharon,rindu sgt2 kt dia...dhla kt camp site tu xde coverage..sakit hati je xdpt borak dgn dia that nite..then lepak2 jab dgn owner camp site tu bro ali smpai 6am,then i tdo balik and woke up at 12pm..hehehe..sampai bangun dr tdo pun kepala dh mcm terhoyong hayang,nasib baik x pengsan..

After dat,i pergi mandi kt sungai kt sebelah khemah tu..gosok gigi and mcm2 lg la..sampai main tarik tali time berendam pun ade..ehehe mcm2 bleh buat kt sungai tu,,dh la sejuk..syok abisss..~Ada one moment i tgk ade org asli mandi kt depan we all: berbogel,bkn semua yg mandi berbogel tp bdk kecik je la yang bogel :p,Tgk gelagat org2 asli nie mandi,xkira budak kecik 5-6 tahun ke selamba je dorang redah mandi dgn arus deras..mmg hati kering betul..dh la batu2 kt jeram tu besar2 and kasar.Agak bahaya jgak la..

Lepas mandi,we all have lunch and after dat packed our belongings and balik ke tempat parking ambik kereta then balik rumah..So ada banyak jgak la pictures yang i ambik,so ada satu pic,pic nie pic object lilin time tgh malam,so nak copy mmg xdpt la..kalau nak kena beli la k rm10 sekeping and the other pictures mmg free nak copy k..

I guess ,most of you have heard about O2 smartphone,so I dont think I should reveal it too much it in my blog..So,I did using it for about 1 year before.My dad bought O2 Xda Flame for me 2 years ago.So he bought it for just RM3620.I never asked him to buy me a phone but unexpected things happened when he gave me the phone as a present..I was like damn super happy..

Year later,I did feel damn bored with the phone..So it were sold to friend of mine.

Yup,aku suka betul guna O2,sebab apa?sebab first dia branding..hehehe..second it have its own style dan aku rasa ia agak user friendly,yea la sebelum nie aku pakai O2 Xda Flame ,so dh try "godek godek" apa yang perlu ditelek kan..so pada aku mmg puas hati pakai O2,..but there's some advantages about this kind of smartphone in terms of prices and speaker.Dulu yea,bila bapak aku beli,again "bapak" aku bli yer,bkn aku beli coz mahal la ..time bapak aku beli dlm Rm3620,so dia bg kt aku as a present..first time dpt mmg excited gile babeng la sampai la....

1 year after aku guna,dh rasa bosan muak dan menyampah jugak dan juga tahap kepanasan pada tangan aku yang memegangnya(iya lah,..dh nama 02 Xda flame :P ) leceh..sebab ape leceh ?sebab nak masuk dlm poket sluar aku pun xboleh nak masuk coz besar sgt..sakit je hati nak pegang kt tgn everytime aku jalan2..agak2 kalau baling anjing,anjing koma 2-3 bln..

Then,skrg I'm not using that O2 anymore,dh xlrt nk pkai so aku jual...ahahah yang klakar nya value smartphone mmg senang2 je jatuh..dr RM3620 dpt jual just RM600 je..haha..
