On yesterdays post, I was writing a bit about my frustrations with eBay. Well, my frustration is not with eBay directly, it's only with the fact that I haven't been very successful in selling items through eBay and that I've only have lost money. Well, I was going through Facebook and I've actually found an Ebay group and I became a fan of it. If you currently have Facebook and want to become of eBay Inc's official Facebook section by searching for the word eBay when you are using your Facebook account or just click on ---> this direct link <--- which will take you to the section I'm talking about. Beware that when you search for eBay on Facebook, you might get more than one eBay-related page so just check them out before becomming fans of that certain eBay group.

I've also learned that eBay has a Twitter account. You can also search for the word "eBay" on your Twitter account or just go directly to this Twitter link so you can follow them on Twitter and have constant info from them. I also added them to my list of Twitter Followers. I really hope that by visiting and getting updates from this site my help me get more info on how to sell better through eBay.

Wooaaooo it's been months since I posted on this blog. I must admit I haven't used eBay in a long time since I haven't been very lucky in selling items and I've been losing money because of that issue. I guess it hasn't been easy...I've had a lot of ups and downs...more downs than ups!!! But I guess I really can't say that my experience with eBay has been THAT bad because I've learned a few tricks here and there when it comes to selling and buying items online. I guess I have to get more creative. I'm going to see if I try to borrow any book that talks about eBay and take a few pointers from it since I would like to re-use my eBay account. I might re-try eBay soon since we are getting closer to the Holidays and everyone may want to buy good items for cheaper.

If any of you that may read this post has an active eBay account, please send me some good pointers. I really want to learn more, especially now that I'm trying to sell a lot of items. I'm currently doing an Ongoing Yard Sale at my house, but I'm not having much luck there either. So I'm thinking of posting some items on eBay to see if I have some luck this time around. And now that I think about it, I should try to find out if I can link my eBay account to my Facebook account and my Twitter account. Maybe that way I can spread the word more and quicker...let's see what I can do in regards to this idea and if anybody has any suggestions related to this idea, I appreciate you let me know. I really need money ASAP so I really hope I can sell all the items through the yard sale or via eBay. WISH ME MUCH LUCK!!!

Para los que no entiendan el Inglés, pues aquí tambien les hablo en Español. Basicamente tengo varios meses sin escribir en este blog y no es por tener flojera sino que no he vendido más por (ó usado) eBay. La verdad que me frustré un poco ya que no he vendido mucho como pensé que lo haria cuando abrí la cuenta por primera vez. He tenido muchos altos y bajos en cuanto a las ventas...aunque han sido más bajos que altos y esto es lo que más me frustra. El hecho de que pongo cosas para vender una y otra ves, pago por cada upload de las cosas que estoy vendiendo y a la final no se me llegan a vender casi todas las cosas pues me frustra ya que estoy invirtiendo y perdiendo más dinero comparado a lo poco que gano.

Qué estaré haciendo mal? Será falta de creatividad y publicidad hacia mi cuenta de eBay? la verdad que nosé cual será el problema, pero la verdad hay que resolverlo ó buscar maneras de hacer mi cuenta más productiva. Voy a ver si busco algún libro que hable acerca de eBay para buscar más claves y aprender mucho más acerca del uso de este website. Para aquellos que usen eBay ó que estén en Venezuela y usen MercadoLibre para sus ventas/compras online, pues denme sugerencias para ver si asi salgo vendiendo mucho más y con más efectividad. Por cierto, tambien buscaré un manera de hacer un link entre mi cuenta en eBay y mis cuentas de Facebook y de Twitter para ver si eso me ayuda a hacer más publicidad.

Además de leer más acerca de eBay, voy a ver si pongo las sugerencias que obtenga por aqui por el blog y lo que aprenda de los libros para hacer un upload de algun producto que este vendiendo. La verdad que desde hace unos meses atrás he tratado de hacer un "Garage Sale" en mi casa para ver si trato de desaserme de varias cosas que tengo y así ganarme alguito de dinero pero la verdad que eso está medio lento de verdad. Al principio sin vendí alguito, pero las cosas como que se congelaron ya que nadie más me ha llamado para ver las cosas que estoy vendiendo en el "Garage Sale" de mi casa. La verdad que necesito vender lo más posible ya que sin trabajo, pues el dinero es escazo cada dia. Deseenme buena suerte y espero de verdad escuchar de ustedes...

Looking for a Job

I know I normally post about eBay and my experience with it, but this post is different. I'm looking for a new job here in the USA, just like many people who were lay-off from their jobs recently. It's been 6 months already since I was lay-off from my last job and it's not easy finding a stable job. I've been working some temporary jobs lately in order to survive while I get a stable job. Some of the places where I have worked lately are Victoria's Secret during the holidays, Teleswitch for one week in March (one of my former employers), and Jumping Jelly Beans for a couple of weeks.

If any employer out there reads this blog, please help me out soon!!!

I'm currently located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, so any current job opening in South Florida can be great for me. Although I am willing to relocate to New York or Denver - relocation can be negotiable since I'm looking for new experiences. My ideal job would be inside Purchasing, Customer Service, or General Office Management.

I consider myself a dynamic individual with outstanding customer service provider with a Professional attitude and great communication skills. I'm able to multi-task and work in a highly fast paced environment. I consider myself a very responsible and reliable person, who enjoys work very much and is fun to work with. From previous jobs, I have gained much experience with sales, purchasing, logistics, marketing, clerical tasks, team management, Help Desk management, and customer service activities. I am bilingual - I speak, read and write fluently in both English and Spanish - with excellent communication skills and great computer knowledge. Some of my interests and hobbies are computers, blogging, reading, music appreciation, bicycling, working in a team, and learning as much as possible.

I feel great...I was able to sell 3 items out of the 10 items I listed 2 weeks ago. I know it's not much, but I'm happy because I've been selling a few items everytime I create a list. These are the items I sold:

The only bad thing about one of these sells is that I lost money instead of earning something from the item. I miscalculated the Shipping & Handling on one of the items and I ended up paying 3 times of what I originally had listed on eBay. I really learned a thing ot two about this negative issue and will make sure I double check on Shipping & Handling fees before I submit an item for listing.

Right now I've posted a new item. It's a furniture set I'm selling in order to help a friend. It's a Thomasville KING STREET Bedroom Set that I'm seling locally here in Miami. Wooaooo it's been a month and 10 days already since the new year began. Well, I must admit that every time I listed items on eBay, I would be a little sad & stressed out because I would either sell only one item or not sell at all. My last listing sold pretty good...I began the year selling about 8 items out of 12 I had posted. THAT IS GREAT!!! And what I like the best is that I gained a lot of money. The only thing I feel bad about is that I got my first negative feedback. In a way, it's my fault but it's also the buyers fault for not reminding me about an issue. I don't want to get into details but I feel pretty upset about the negative feedback and because the buyer said I never answered him/her back about the issue when, in fact, I did write him/her back about the issue.

Well, I hope to learn from this new experience and try to answer to the buyers issues a bit quicker. Now I have a new listing, which I hope it sells as great as my last listing. Well, it's time to upload some old items and some new ones to see if I can sale them for the Holidays. Some of the old stuff that I'm trying to resell are some clothing items and a cream. Some of the new things I'm selling are jewelry.

One of the items I'm selling is a small, circular snowflake pin. It has different shades of green. It's a beautiful decoration for a casual shirt or for a Holiday theme shirt. In ddition, I'm selling a small and very cute Snowman Tack Pin. This lovable snowman has a red Santa-hat, a blue-gold-green little scarf, and cute little golden buttons down its belly. It's a beautiful decoration for a casual shirt or for a Holiday theme shirt. Or if you are a Pin/Brooch collector, this would be a wonderful pin for your collection. In addition, I'm selling a Small Flower Hair Clip from ANN TAYLOR. It was a bit expensive, but it's cute, I never have use it, and I'll be selling it for less here at eBay.

I sure hope I sell these items fast and without any problems. Not like the last item I sold: I had send it twice and the buyer never pay for the 2nd shiping when it was her fault. And eventhough I re-sent it, I'm still waiting on an honest feeback. I really hope she gives me a good review soon thru eBay. I really wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving Day and may your familiy gathering may be blessed. Hope there's a lot of food to share, but most of all, I hope there's a lot of love to share and pass around the dinner table. First of all, I would like to give thanks for my family and friends. GOOD NEWS!!! Finally, after waiting for a week or so, I made my first small sell today. After I posted some of the creams I had a few weeks ago, I was able to sell the GIVE ME GLOW body lotion by Victoria's Secret. I really didn't earn much, but I hope this new sale may give me a new positive feedback. I only have 11 stars, but I really want to get some more stars in order to get more benefits inside eBay. I really hope this first sale will give me good luck towards the other items listed. I really need the money and need the positive feedback on eBay. Can anybody give me some details on how to be successful? Can anybody tell me how can I be more effective with eBay and earn more money & positive feedback? Any tips, comments, or suggestions are greatfully welcomed.

It's been 2 months or more since I last posted some selling items on eBay. Today I'm in the mood of re-selling some creams I bought and got as gifts that I really don't use. The 2 most famous creams I'm selling are from Victoria's Secret and from Mary Kay.

One of the creams is GIVE ME GLOW body lotion by Victoria's Secret was a limited edition luminous body lotion that "adds a subtle, iridescent glow to skin, while providing luxurious moisture and the soft, romantic scent of dream angels heavenly." This is a 150mL/5 FL.OZ body lotion bottle.

The cream I bought, and that I don't really want, is the TimeWise Age-Fighting products plus a foundation compatible with the age-fighting products...all made by Mary Kay. I'm also including a free sample, pink bag that I got when I bought these Mary Kay creams. The TimeWise Age-Fighting products include the following:

one Age-Fighting Facial Moisturizer, suitable for sensitive skin. This cream is Oil & Fragrance-free and non-comedogenic. This comes in a 3.3 FL. OZ./100 mL bottle.
one 3-in-1 facial cleanser, suitable for sensitive skin. This cream is Oil & Fragrance-free and non-comedogenic. This comes in a 4.5 OZ. NET WT./127 g. bottle.

Hurricane IKE

I know this post is not related to eBay or my experience with it, but since I've had this blog so lonely, I just thought I could talk about the Hurricane Season here in Florida. This year is been terrible and somehow all the storms are comming in almost at the end of the hurricane season. I'm a bit scare now with the upcomming storm: Hurricane IKE. Now it's a Category 3 hurricane, but it wants to get stronger. Up to now, nobody knows exactly where it's going to hit or how strong is going to be when it hits, all Floridians need to wait about 4 days until we know for sure.

I guess all I have to do is prepare. All Weather channels say to start preparing on Sunday in case it does come over here...so I have 2 days of peace. Well, I can't be so gloomy or scare about this hurricane, so I gathered a few jokes so I can laugh a bit while waiting for this hurricane:

Re-selling

It's been a while since I last posted, but I am very happy right now. I re-took my poor eBay account and started listing some items I have listed before and some new ones I need to sell soon. Within a few days of creating the list, I got somebody to buy the 14kt Gold Ring shown on the picture. It's a small ring and it's very pretty...especially because of the esmerald flower decoration it has. I really got excited that somebody bought it right away.

The paying transaction was a bit slow, mainly because the buyer had a small issue with PayPal, but it went through smoothly. The buyer was very friendly about the whole situation and communicated with me throughout the whole process. That's really an A+ for me when it comes to selling items. I really hope all my items sell quickly soon and that all transactions run smoothly like this one. I will try to add some more items because I really have a bunch of things to sell.

Lately I've been thinking of adding some other items besides all the items I have at home right now. I've been thinking of jewelry & accesories...maybe start with something like those "friendship bracelet" since I know how to make them. I've also been thinking of taking a basic jewelry class to see if I can make some items and sell them through eBay. So many ideas and so little time...well, there's is time to make these ideas come true, all I need is a little bit of planning.

Here I am, returning to my forgotten eBay blog. I've also have forgot about my eBay account but I need to retake my eBay account and blog in order to sell some items I need to get ride off. This time around I'm thinking of selling mostly jelwery and clothing. I'm thinking of moving soon, but I need the money and to get ride of a lot of stuff.

Hopefully, this time around I will sell more items and have less issues than before. I know there's a lot of tricks and stuff I need to learn in eBay in order to be succesfull, but sometimes it's hard to keep track of everything.

A few months ago, I had bought a book about being succesfull on eBay but I never finished reading it. I need to re-take this book and read it from top to bottom because I do need some eBay tips for a succesfull selling. I'm also thinking of exploring other blogs that may talk about eBay in order to get some feedback. Other people's opinions & experiences may be great feedback for me. My last item sold went smoothly...I received the payment a few days after the ebay buyer bought the JENSEN Multi-Input AV/RF Modulator, Model: JV649 and I sent the order today. I left a positive feedback to this eBay buyer because there was great communication, the payment was received, and (hopefully) the order will rrive on time. Therefore, I will receive a positive feedback, too...hopefully the eBay buyer will give me a positive feedback.

Now I have 2 more orders that worry me a bit. The one that worry me the most is a video tape I wanted to purchase since yesterday. This morning I bought a COUNTRY LINE DANCING video tape I wanted to give my mom as a present. I paid $10 extra than what the seller was asking for so I can have this video tape sent out thru NEXT DAY delivery. But it looks like the seller didn't send it out on time and that the item may not be sent thru NEXT DAY delivery. The reason I need this NEXT DAY delivery is because I'm going on vacation this Wednesday to visit my parents and won't be back in 2 weeks. Hopefully, this seller will send me this item on time so I can have it on Tuesday.

The other transaction I'm worry about is for an actual sell I did. About 4 days ago, I was excited when I received an e-mail saying that somebody had bought my used HP PhotoSmart M417 5.2 Megapixel Digital Camera. I was specific in regards to the camera's description, current condition, and payment terms. I sent the eBay Buyer a few messages asking him for the payment since he had asked me to send him an invoice. Hopefully this buyer will send me the money before I leave on vacation and then I can send him/her the digital camera. In case this eBay buyer doesn't make a "move" on this item, I may need to find out how to re-list this item on my eBay list. If anybody knows how to cancel an eBay sell, please let me know what to do because I'm really new on this issue.

I'm really happy today, I have sold another item. This was the JENSEN Multi-Input AV/RF Modulator, Model: JV649 I posted last week...it sold in 5 days. This AV/RF Modulator is necessary if you don't have AV inputs on your TV or VCR and therefore cannot use the AV Cables. This allows you to connect your TV or VCR to other electronics like your DVD player, video cameras, and any Game Entertaiment Center (like Nintendo sets, XBOX set, etc etc etc). Even though this item was hardly used, it's in great working conditions. I didn't have all the manuals & accesories, I was able to sell it just with its power adapter.

The only issue I have right now is that the eBay buyer who bought this AV/RF Modulator from me didn't send me the payment right away. Basically, this eBay buyer doesn't have a PayPal account and he/she has to send me a Money Order...hopefully, it will arrive really soon so I can process this order and send it out ASAP. Although this eBay buyer has 100% positive feedback, I really can't trust many people...therefore, I rather wait for payment & cash it out first before I can really send this order to this eBay buyer. I'm really excited for this new sell, which took only 5 days after I post it for the 1st time. I hope my other items get sold quickly just like this one did. If everything goes good, I may really take eBay as a 2nd source of income...something that I really need for many financial and personal reasons.

I'm very, very happy today...I've made my 1st eBay sale since last year. When I started my eBay listing last year, I've only sold 2 small items: a Teddy Bear and a set of candles. These 2 items had sold quickly and I was very glad about it, but then I wasn't very lucky since nothing was selling and I got dissaponted very easy and fast. Now that I re-took this listing, I already sold a VHS video within 3 days of creating this listing. I've just added a new item...an HP PhotoSmart M417 Digital Camera. I really hope this digital camera sells quickly. I'm thinking on adding some clothes, little decorations, and some other items but I need to fix some pictures first. Let's see how this goes...

I'm Back Again!!!

I had set aside my blog and my eBay listing for a few days, but I'm finally back here and I hope I don't leave these two all alone again. Finally, I just added a few items into my eBay listing. I'm trying out with some VHS videos to see how it goes...I've included four (4) VHS videos: Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers; although, I'm thinking on adding some other things tomorrow after I try to upload some pictures I want to put on the listing. I have a few body lotions to sell, some electronics, some simple home decór to sell, and some other few things I want to sell and want to sort of get rid off. YA VOLVÍ!!!

Volví a este blogcito y a mi lista de eBay despues de un tiempo de abandono...pero ya estaré más pendiente ya que de verdad quiero sacarle lo más que pueda. Bueno, finalmente ya empesé a hacer mi lista de ventas en eBay que tanto habia abandonado. Empesé la lista con unas cuantas peliculas en VHS, las cuales son: Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, y The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Claro que además de estos videos de VHS, tengo en mente añadir más cosas en esta lista...decoraciones de casa, electrónicos, lociones de mano y otras cositas más que son pequeñeces pero que quiero vender para poder deshacerme de ellas y ganarles un dinerito jejejeje. Mañana de seguro añadiré más cosas despues de que monte y arregle unas cuantas fotos que quiero montar en la lista de eBay. I really had to change the template in this blog. I was having problems with the customized templates I added before...templates that were not recommended 100% by Blogger. Now that Blogger is offering more templates and customize services, I'm better off using them instead of going outside and looking for templates. What do you think???

Besides To2Blogs, now this small blog is in Blogarama. I hope this helps me with the incomming traffic to this Blog. I really want people's feedback in regards to eBay and how should I approach it better so I can have a better chance of selling.

Talking about eBay, I'm still kind of stuck still. I need to gather all the things I want to sell right now and enter them into my eBay listing. Lately I'm been working a lot and I have limited Internet access, so I've been leaving my listing aside. Hopefully, I'll get to it tomorrow morning. If anything, I will blog about it.

It's been a while since I wrote on this blog. My main reason has been the lack of time, but I've also forgotten a bit about eBay. I've been wanting to re-invest on my eBay dream, but I had no time or money to do so. Well, I've regain my interest in doing a little bit of money through eBay.

Right now I'm in the need of money...I really can deny that. I'm going to get a 2nd job right know in order to save some money and to invest some. It's more than obvious I want to get back to selling some things through eBay. I do have a few things to post right now on my eBay list but I have to create a scrap listing outside eBay before doing the actual list I have in mind. I want to start my small listing the right way.

I must admit I bought a few thing right now in order to have the account active. I've also bought these few thing in order to gain some positive feedback...it's very important on eBay to get positive feedback because it gives you more reliability and other eBay users can evaluate a member’s reputation. The more positive comments and feedback you have, the more you atrack people into your listings.

Well, going to back to what I bought lately, I must admit I bought a Taebo 8-Minute Workout video tape from a eBayer named cosis84...I must admit the price and communication were great, but the deivery was really slow. I need to loose some weight, so I need some encouragement while I gain some positive feedback at eBay. I've also bought some pins & buttons. I'm a big Harry Potter fan, so I bidded on 2 Harry Potter-buttons (or pins) that were really cool: one with Sirius Black's prison face (which comes from the Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban movie) and the other one says MUGGLE with a great red & black background. The picture on your left side is from both buttons pinned already on one of my favorite hats...I do apologize if the picture is a bit blurry but I'm still practicing my picture-taking tactics with my new camera. I bought the Sirius Black pin through Mermaid Ink and the MUGGLE pin I bought it from Just another Sunset...both eBayers were really great with the pricing, communication, and delivery.

Well, I hope this is really a new beginning for this blog and for my eBay journey. I really need to earn some money, so I better learn how to master eBay. Of course, I will write every detail of this ongoing learning and I hope some of you out there can give me some tips on how to be a better eBayer. Keep on blogging and keep on bidding...
