This simple solution of changing the 1 to a 0 allowed me to finally install Itunes on Vista 64.

if its stopped please start it and if its running please restart the service. I stopped it and strted it again. Then went to Windows Installer previously changed to automatic from manual and also checked under logon tab "Allow service to interact with desktop". Previously tried to start services, would not start. After I stopped and started the local server, I was able to start the window installer services and then install all my software.

The way I solved this issue is by doing the following steps:

Go to the Print Server Properties dialog and remove each old driver (package and driver) no longer needed on my machine. Note: To uninstall the package without recieving access denied issues, you need to click Change Driver Settings first.

Spin up a VM containing a clean image of your operating system

Copy all the Microsoft printer driver files from the clean VM image to the corrupt machine. You can find them on a x64 system at C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3.

I then tried deleting the Windows\System32\spool\drivers\w32x86 directory. No dice. Although my error did change this time, but the next time I tried reinstalling, the 0x000003eb error returned.

I then ran an sfc /scannow command to check the file system. It did return errors, and the machine operated faster afterwards, but this didn't rectify the problem either.

I then became a little more desperate and began to prepare for the worst... a system reformat. However, I stumbled across another thread in a different forum where someone suggested that the status of "Windows Installer" be checked in the Services dialog. So, I ventured down to the start menu, and launched "Services.msc" from the search box.

I checked the status of the "Windows Installer" service and it was off, set in manual mode. The author of the thread suggested to set it to automatic and start it, so I did.

I then when back to the Printers dialog and tried reinstalling the printer. IT WORKED! After trying numerous ideas from various threads, this one idea pulled it off. So before digging deep into the registry like I did, check the status of your Windows Installer service. Enable it and set it to automatic if it's off. Apparently a Windows Update or a virus/spyware infection can cause this, I believe it was a virus on this PC that has since been quarantined.

I also found 3 entries in the msft clean prgm besides the c4700 driver they were simply called hp 3.0 I deleted, hoping I didn't mess anything up (its a hp laptop) then I ran the control panel uninstaller for the driver again, ccleaner, cleaned all reg entries and temp files. CAUTION using the old msft clean up utility can screw up Office, thats why its hard to find. I rebooted-THEN the hp update utility popped up and suggested a critical patch to fix printers disconnecting!!! I have been all over the site and never saw this patch! I installed ofcourse, rebooted, downloaded the FULL driver pkg, installed it, printer works done

cant be cancelled, cant be deleted, insist on deleting document forever.

Method 1:

From the Control Panel, open Administrative Tools and select Services. Browse down to the print spooler service, right click it and select Properties then click on the Stop button. Now browse to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS and delete the job inside this folder - You may need to click a prompt to gain the appropriate authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

Restart the computer and you should find the document has been removed.

Method 1

I would suggest that you disable the Internet Protocol Version 6(IPv6) on the network adapter and check if it helps.

a. Right click on the Network icon in the System Tray and click on Network and Sharing center.

b. Click on Change Adapter settings.

c. Right click on Network Adapter and Choose ‘Properties’.

d. Uncheck “Internet Protocol Version 6”.

e. Click on OK.

Note: By disabling IPv6, you will not be able to use Windows Meeting Space or any application that relies on the Windows Peer-to-Peer Networking platform

Changing Ownership

Problem: Internet slow, virus infected.....
Too much trouble to go through cleaning process,
since no data were concerned as essential, I have client agreed to have a complete
factory refreshed system as it was purchased.

Universal Power adapter were needed in this situation for Client forgot to bring his power adapter in.
19 volt was used in this case.

For eMachine model: ALT-F10 is the factory recover Key,
usually there's additional recovery partition available in HDD,
if that's so, then recovery will be done without original DVD recovery disk.

After recovery process, I have to uninstall Norton Internet Security, It's proven useless to guard against virus,
Microsoft office trial version is another one that is consider useless,

Log into your Google Checkout seller's account. From there do the following:

1. Click on the Settings tab.
2. Click the Integration link
3. Under Shopping cart post security make sure it is checked.

This is where we talk about how to add an RSS feed to your Squidoo lens, but before that...
What is RSS? - A very simple explanation

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and it allows you to add content from other websites to your lens, by doing nothing more complicated than copying & pasting a single line of code into your Squidoo lens.

Lensmasters appreciate RSS because the content from the other site is automatically updated on your lens whenever it changes at the source site. Lovely piece of work indeed.
Why use RSS feeds?

1. New fresh content is added to your lens frequently, without you doing a thing. Search engine spiders love fresh content.

2. Squidoo won't even list your lens until you have 4 or more modules. That is, 4 blocks of information on your page. Writing several short articles is one way to achieve that. Adding an RSS feed is an easier way. I recommend both.
Where do you get RSS feeds from?

Today almost every publisher & blogger provides a feed expressly so you can publish their content on your site. Look for the orange XML rectangles or the more recent square orange RSS logos, and click on them. They are RSS feeds. Just copy these URLs (web addresses) into your lens -- details coming right up.

If you're stuck and all you want is to add something relevant to your lens, then here is the code for a Yahoo News feed about Seth Godin, the creator of Squidoo:

How to add RSS feed into your lens?

Step 1. Login to your Squidoo account. Click on 'Edit this lens'.

Step 2. Click on 'Add Modules'. Click on 'RSS: Add your own feed'.

Step 3 (Optional). If you want to move the new module up from the bottom of the page, click on 'Preview Lens Layout' and when the page reloads hover your cursor over the new module, left click to grab it and then drag it upwards. When it's where you want it, release your mouse.

Step 4. Click Save.

Step 5. Scroll down your lens again. You are still in edit mode, so find the new RSS module you just added and click on Edit. Write a title. Your title should include your main (primary) keywords. In the URL panel, paste this:

For frequency of updates, I often use either 6 hours or 12 hours. Because I want a frequently updated lens.

Step 7. If you want to change what you see or try the other options, click on Edit again (as in step 5). Continue experimenting until you're happy. Then scroll to the top of the page and click Publish. When the page refreshes, click on 'View this page' to see your handiwork.

How hard was that?

You have just produced a lens (a website) that gets automatically updated with fresh content every 6 or 12 hours. Nice work. Come back tomorrow and add something new to your lens.

Tip: Use D: or E: before the command to change the drive if in case the images are not stored on the same drive.

Once this is done you will have some backup files created which you can delete and then launch Picasa. Once Picasa is launched you will see that all the filenames now come as Captions in Picasa.

Below is an example with screenshots on how to do it:

Above Step is copying the exiftool to the folder where the image(s) are stored.

In this step we change the directory and then run the exiftool command with the proper command-line.

Next step is to launch Picasa to fin out that the image which had some name now has the same Caption. Now you can upload them to Picasa web album or upload them to Facebook with the help of Picasa.

Save it whereever you like (I like the Desktop while I'm working with
it). Double-click the file and UnZip it.

These next two steps are critical - First, UnZip it to your C:\Windows
folder. (it's gotta be here or it won't work)
When Unzipped, it will create a file called -

exiftool[-k].exe

Now, rename the file without the [-k] part so it is now just -
exiftool.exe

So far so good. Now... wipe through and copy this next line -

exiftool "-IPTC:Caption-Abstract

Then, Open Notepad, paste the line into it, and save the file as

Filename2Caption.bat

Save the file in a place you'll be able to find it.
You will only have to do the above steps once.

Now, copy the Filename2Caption.bat file into each folder where you
have photos you want to work with. Once the file is copied there,
double-click it to run it.

What will happen is that each file will be copied (and now the
Filename will be copied to the IPTC caption location which is where
Picasa looks for captions). A backup of the original will also be
kept.

So for example, if you had a file in the folder called:

IMG_0001.jpg

You will also now have a file called -

IMG_0001.jpg_original

(You can choose to keep these _original files or delete them, your
choice)

Picasa will only see the new file (since it has the .jpg extension)
and it will have both the original Filename with the Caption being
identical. Now, if you upload the images to Picasaweb, you'll be able
to see the Filenames (as Captions).

I wish Google would simply do for Picasaweb what they've done in
Picasa 3 and that's allow thumbnails to display the (Filename /
Caption / Tags / Resolution) your choice. Then we woudn't have to use
these workarounds!! 'Til then I hope this is useful for some of you.

To keep the data transferred before, it just need to verify the vanity domain brfohio.com and change epan37@24x7consult.onmicrosoft.com to aaaa_xxxxxx@brfohio.com directly. You do need to delete epan37@24x7consult.onmicrosoft.com, and no extra charge is needed.
