නෙට්වර්ක් Bridge එක කියන්නේ දැනට අපි භාවිතා කරන Router එක වෙනුවට අපි ඉස්සර භාවිතා කරපු උපකරණයක්.Bridge එකෙන් වෙන්නේ වෙනස් නෙට්වර්ක්(LAN ) (Different network) එකට සම්බන්ධ කිරීමේ උපකරණයක් විධියටයි..

Network bridge is used to connect two or more diferent LAN network together..

Router | රවුටරය

Router is a device that connect two or more different network together to transfer information among those networks

Router එක භාවිතා කරනු ලබන්නේ වෙනස් නෙට්වර්ක් එකට සම්බන්ධ කිරීමේ උපකරණයක් වශයෙනි..

Repeater | රිපීටරය

රිපීටරය භාවිතයෙන් සිග්නල් නැවත ප්‍රතිජනනය කර අදාල ස්ථානය වෙන යැවිය හැක.මෙහිදී උපරිම රිපීටර ගනන 5 කට සීමා කිරීමක් සිදුකරනු ලබයි..එයින් බලාපොරොත්තුවනුයේ සිග්නල් වල ගුනාත්මක බව තබාගැනීමයි

හබ් : ( hub )

නෙට්වර්ක් හබ් එක භාවිතා වෙන්නේ වර්ක් ගෲප් එකක තියන කම්පියුටර්ස් එකින් එක සම්බන්ධ කිරීමට භාවිතා කරන උපකරණයක් හැටියට..ගොඩක් දෙනා සමහරවිට දන්නවා ඇතිනේ network switch එක( ඒක ගැන අපි ඊලඟ පෝස්ට් එකෙන් කතාකරනවා) ,switch එක වෙනුවට ඉස්සර අපි භාවිතා කරේ Hub එක..

Hub :
network hub is using to connect workgroup computer together.

හබ් එකක් හරහා DATA ගමන්කරන ආකාරය..

ඊට ඉස්සෙල්ලා කියන්න ඕනා මේ නෙට්වර්ක් උපකරන තුලින් ඩේටා ගමන් කරන්නේ ඩේටා පැකට් එකක් විධියට
ඩේටා පැකට එකක අදාල ඩේටා ප්‍රමාණය හා ඩේටා යවන පරිඝනකයේ සහ ඩේටා ලබාගන්නා පරිඝනකයේ MAC ඇඩ්‍ඩ්‍රස් එක
ඇතුලත් වෙනවා...

හබ් එකට ඩේටා ( ඩේටා පැකට එකක් විදියට ) එක පෝට් එකකින් ලැබුනාම හබ් එක එම ඩේටා පැකට් එක හබ් එක හා සම්බන්ධ වී ඇති සියළුම පරිගණක වෙත යොමු කරනවා (Broadcast ).. එම අවස්තාවෙදි අදාල පරිගණක විසින් වල ඇති නෙට්වර්ක් කාඩ් එක විසින් එම ඩේටා පැකට් එක පරීක්ෂාකර MAC ඇඩ්ඩ්‍රස් එක ගැලපේ දැයි විමසා බලයි..එහිදී MAC ඇඩ්ඩ්‍රස් එක ගැලපෙන පරිගණකය අදාල දත්ත ලබාගන්නා අතර ..අනෙකුත් පරිගණක විසින් දත්ත ලබාගැනීම ප්‍රතික්ෂේප කරයි..

Data transfer method through a hub

when we sent data through a hub it sent as DATA packet.
so after hub received the data it sends data to the all computers
that are connected to hub..so every computer network card recieved the data and
check a MAC address of those data packet..if the MAC address is matching with the computer , the data will be obtained by that computer and MAC address differ computers will be reject the data..

DATA packet :

when we send data via a device it sends as data packet..so every data packet has the receiver's MAC address and Senders MAC address..

So, Today we are going to discuss about Network devices..there are few network devices are currently in use and some are not in use..but we have to discuss about old devices too.

ඉතින් අපි අද පටන් ගන්න පාඩම තමයි.. නෙට්ව්‍ර්ක් උපකරන... මේක යටතේ අපිට සාකච්චා කරන උපකරන කීපයක්ම තියනවා ..ඉතින් ඒ අතරින් සමහරක් දැන් භාවිතා වෙන්නේ නෑ.. නමුත් අපි ඒ උපකරන ගැන දැන ගන්න එක අපිට ප්‍රයෝජනවත්.. ඉතින් එහනම් අපි අපේ පලවෙනි උපකරණය ගැන ඉගෙනගමු..

නෙට්වර්ක් කාඩ් එක භාවිතා කරනු ලබන්නේ අදාල පරිගනකය වෙත තවත් පරිගනකයක් ( cable හරහා ) සම්බන්ධ කිරීමට හෝ වෙනත් නෙට්වර්ක් උපකරනයක් පරිගනකය හා සම්බන්ධකිරීමටයි..මෙහි වෙනස් කළ නොහැකි භෞතිකමය සංඛේතයක් ඇත...එය අප හදුන්වනු ලබන්නේ MAC ඇඩ්ඩ්‍රස් යනුවෙනි..

Network Card :

The network Card is used to connect a p/c or a network device..the network card has a phisical address that cannot be changed. its a globaly unique. we call it as MAC address( Media access control )

MAC ඇඩ්ඩ්‍රස් : (Media Access control )

පරිගණක උපකරන සඳහා ලබාදී ඇති සංකේතයකි..මෙය එක් එක් උපකරණය සඳහා වෙන වෙනම ලබා දී ඇත.. කිසිදු අවස්තාවක එකම MAC එක උපකරන දෙකකට පිහිටන්නේ නැත.එනම් මෙය කිසි විටක Duplicate වීමක් නැත.

MAC address : (Media Access control )

Mac address is a globaly unique which is given to computer parts..it cannot be change ad never duplicate with each other..

Ex : Imagin that there is one chines person and one srilankan .. so if chines person speaks in china language srilankan person cannot understand..same as other way.. so to understand both of them should speak in English or another language that both person knows ..
