I found this magical view and I decided to share it on my blog. This place is in Praiano on the Amalfi Coast and this balcony is exactly in Casa Angelina which is a really boutique hotel.

Alessandro Baronio's Masks

Italian artist Alessandro Baronio creates the masks and through recycling materials. Cleaned, studied in their forms and their yield and finally rethought and adapted. There are several examples of art and money, but its seems to me an interesting approach because it is more traditional.

Always leaving plenty of room to chance, from the turning of the materials created masks of animals, anthropomorphic beings and mythical creatures. The rejection comes back to life through the combination of materials and assembly. Each object has its own story, but then becomes only the detail of a larger picture, just the mask.

Baronio also creates portraits from a distance. Rejected Portraits in the project is made to mail items related to the life of the person to represent that contact via instant messaging and social networks. Slowly comes a representation made with elements of physical and psychological recovery of the subject to be represented.

Ivrea is a town in the province of Turin in northwestern Italy.

The town first appears in history as a cavalry station of the army of the Roman Empire, founded in 100 BC and set to guard one of the traditional invasion routes into northern Italy over the Alps. The Latin name of the town was Eporedia.

Orange battle symbolizes rebellion against the inhabitants of Lords tyrants ruling Spanish cities in the Middle Ages. For over nine centuries, inhabitants of the Italian city of Ivrea times a year enjoy the oranges as a weapon in the memory of the legend.

Vogliamo dissociarci nel modo più categorico da questa iniziativa e da questo modo di operare. Siamo convinti che ognuno debba fare il proprio mestiere e non occupare spazi altrui, senza le dovute competenze, soprattutto quando si parla di “ immagine “ e si vuole trasmettere un messaggio di fashion, di eccellenze e di arte.

Non crediamo, che l’immagine dell’ Italia debba essere delegata a chi, nulla ha a che fare con la storia, lo stile e la cultura italiana. Altresì, ci riserviamo di tutelarci, nelle sedi opportune, per la sottrazione indebita di immagini e redazionali di cui siamo stati oggetto.
