										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A few days ago I&#8217;ve published an important article: <a href="http://www.itaypaz.net/webinar/start-first-webinar-create-new-clients-revenues/" target="_blank">&#8220;Start Your First Webinar And Create New Clients and Revenues&#8221;</a> (if you haven’t read it, I recommend you read it, even before you read this one) and now that you&#8217;re completely ready to make your first webinar, to create new clients and high revenues, I want to give you the best practice.</p>
<p>There are 5 segments of creating and running a powerful and profitable webinar:</p>
<ol>
<li>The before part, where we plan the webinar, get organized and create the webinar.</li>
<li>The marketing part where you announce your webinar to your audience and invite them to register and attend the webinar.</li>
<li>Just a few minutes before the webinar is officially begin, where you connect to your attendees.</li>
<li>During the webinar, the value &amp; content delivery, the offer of your products and services (if you&#8217;ve chosen this <a href="http://www.itaypaz.net/webinar/start-first-webinar-create-new-clients-revenues/#MakeMoney" target="_blank">webinar profit model</a>) and answer the attendees questions.</li>
<li>After the webinar ends, follow-ups, replay and automation (to generate additional sales).<br />
Now let&#8217;s go into details.</li>
</ol>
<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong> Segment #01 – Planning &amp; Creating</strong></span><br />
Here are the steps you need to make:</p>
<p>1). Webinar Topic</p>
<p>You need a great topic to attract your audience to your webinar. This is right for the first webinar as well as to all of your next ones.</p>
<p>So how do you craft a great topic to your webinars?</p>
<p>The best strategy we use to craft a great topic to any of our webinars is by thinking about the biggest pains of our audience.</p>
<p>For example, if you are a dietitian and the holidays are coming, your audience biggest pain is how to go from one huge holiday meal to another and not gain weight.</p>
<p>2). Date, Day &amp; Time</p>
<p>When doing a live webinar, the date, day and time are important. After all if you choose wrong, you might end up with just a few attendees registering and showing up.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Date</span><br />
You need to make sure, as possible as you can, not to have a live webinar right on a special occasion such as holidays and special events.</p>
<p>Holidays &#8211; Open a calendar and look on the holidays&#8217; dates. You don’t want to have a live webinar right when people are busy with the holiday.</p>
<p>Special Events &#8211; Make sure there is no special event right on your webinar. I remember that we had a live webinar right as the &#8220;Big Brother&#8221; reality show finale was aired and with 30% rating, we lost a hefty portion of our webinars attendees.</p>
<p>Saying that, at the end of the day, every day something happens and you can&#8217;t really work around all of them. Put your common sense into it and select the best date you can.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Day &amp; Time</span></p>
<p>I&#8217;ve put day and time together as the selection of the right day &amp; time is something that can be determined by 3 connected elements:</p>
<p><em>The first one</em> is common sense and logic.</p>
<p>If your audience is teachers, your webinar should be at night times as during the day your targeted audience is at school teaching and most likely not attend your live webinar. So you&#8217;re better doing the live webinar on evening on week days or more flexible on weekends.</p>
<p>Another example would be a stock trading webinar that make sense to being at 8:00 am just before the market opens and possible one in the afternoon as the market ends. Do what makes sense to you niche and audience.</p>
<p><em>The second one</em> is look what others are doing for the same audience, what times and days they are doing their webinars (always good to learn in your niche).</p>
<p><em>The third one</em> is testing.</p>
<p>After having over 600 live webinars I can tell you with full confidence that in different hours you get different results.</p>
<p>Think about the school teachers&#8217; example above.</p>
<p>Teachers are not working every day and some of them have time during the day and rather not put the time in the evenings. Meaning if you do a webinar at 10:00 am most teachers won&#8217;t show up, but you most likely to get different teachers coming at this time rather in the evening.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ve tested starting webinars from 8:00 am until 9:00 pm (we don’t recommend to begin a live webinar outside these hours unless it really makes sense). And like I said, in different hours we get different results.</p>
<p>The main hours we start webinars are:</p>
<p>08:00 am – early morning for people who are busy later the day<br />
09:00 am<br />
10:00 am<br />
11:00 am<br />
14:00 am – after people getting back from launch</p>
<p>Then we take a break until the evening as people are busy with their job, business, their family and kids until they put them to bed.</p>
<p>09:00 pm – last hour we would begin a webinar.</p>
<p>The bottom line is, you need to take the 3 elements of common sense &amp; logic, what others are doing and testing together and find over time the &#8216;perfect&#8217; time and day for your webinars.</p>
<p>3). Make A Registration Page</p>
<p>Your registration page should be simple that includes:</p>
<p>a). The Webinar&#8217;s Title (name) – The webinar title should be also the main benefit of attending the webinar.</p>
<p>For example, if you are a dietitian and you&#8217;re doing a webinar on &#8220;How To Enjoy The Holiday&#8217;s Meal And Not Gain Any Weight&#8221;.</p>
<p>b). The Benefits – you need to list out all the benefits of participating in the webinar.</p>
<p>Taking the dietitian example above, you need to break it down and to the smaller benefits like:</p>
<p>* What are the 3 things you must do before you go to any holiday meal.<br />
* How to plan ahead and make sure you have healthy and low calories delicious food wherever you&#8217;re going.<br />
* How to choose the best desert for you without you gaining weight.</p>

<p>c). Call For Action – this is a fact people need to be told what to do. Same as you tell them in an email &#8220;click here now to…&#8221;, also in your registration page, make sure you add a call for action for them to register right now to you live webinar.</p>
<p>4). Create A Email Sequence</p>
<p>You&#8217;re starting to get people to register to your webinar – great!!!</p>
<p>It is not the end of it.</p>
<p>You need to remember, it is a free webinar and that means that it is easier to be convinced to register to a webinar but now it is your task to take the steps to make sure that this person who has just registered, is actually going to show to the webinar.</p>
<p>You need to send him an exciting follow-up registration email sequence where you remind him why he registered to the webinar, the benefits and value you&#8217;re going to give him and that he must show to get them.</p>
<p>It is like you&#8217;re actually &#8220;re-selling&#8221; him the webinar… but it is important to increase the attendees show.</p>
<p>5). Slideshow Presentation</p>
<p>In order to make the attendees engaged during the webinar, you need to have a slideshow presentation:</p>
<p>a). Words – best presentations should be slim in words. Make the slides with either bullet points or a few words:</p>

<p>b). Pictures – insert pictures into your presentations. It makes them more vibrant and breaks the pattern of text.</p>

<p>c). Templates – create a clean slide template. Remember, the focus is completely on the valuable content you deliver. You don’t want it to be multi colors and confusing.</p>
<p>You need to make the presentation interesting and full with value. Try to incorporate to the presentation case study, examples and important facts to make it more interesting and more valuable.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Segment #02 – Marketing</strong></span><br />
You&#8217;ve setup the registration page and you&#8217;re ready to start the marketing of the webinar. There are many ways to do webinar marketing, but there are 4 main ones you should use to market for your first live webinar:</p>
<p>1) Your Email List<br />
2) Social Media<br />
3) Forums / Discussion Boards<br />
4) Paid Advertising</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Segment #03 – A Few Minutes Before The Webinar Begins</strong></span><br />
The webinar is almost about to begin – great!</p>
<p>Now the actual value delivering begins.</p>
<p>Many times when we do live webinars, we love to go online 5-15 minutes before the actual time where the webinar begins (so if the webinar begins at 09:00 pm we would open our microphones just after 8:45 pm).</p>
<p>Why do we do that?</p>
<p>First you want to connect to your attendees showing them you are a person like anyone else and what a great way to do so by going live and opening the microphone &#8216;unofficially&#8217; to just communicate and engage with your audience.</p>
<p>What do we do at the &#8216;unofficial&#8217; time?</p>
<p>Depending on the situation, we ask them where they are right now and acknowledge them, we tell them something cool about the behind the scenes of this webinar, say &#8216;hi&#8217; on a personal level to the ones who communicate back with you via the text box of the webinar.</p>
<p>You can (and should) ask them to share the webinar right now on the social media. You can prepare a post on your page and send them to like and share it right there on the spot.</p>
<p>You can actually utilize other social tools like facebook live cast, periscope or any other new live casting platform to show them you&#8217;re about to begin a webinar, this is a cool way to engage but also to bring more people to join the webinar on the spot.</p>
<p>Lastly we use this time, just before we close the &#8216;unofficial&#8217; time for what we call the administrative notifications which is the time we ask people to remove all possible interferences they might have during the webinar. So we tell them guys, please close their emails (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook etc), Skype or any type of messengers and put their smart phones on either flight mode or on silent.</p>
<p>This is also the time we&#8217;re reminding them to have a notebook to write notes as we&#8217;re going to share great knowledge, tips, strategies and more with them. And if you have worksheets, remind them to have them with them now (and if not, provide a link where they can print it right now as they need it to maximize their results from being on your important webinar).</p>

I&#8217;d begin with saying you need to start your live webinar, right on time – best practice is to respect the people who showed up on time.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Welcome &amp; Acknowledgement</span></p>
<p>First step is to begin the webinar with welcoming everyone and acknowledging them for showing up on time and attending the webinar.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Benefits Reminder &amp; Learnings</span></p>
<p>Second step would be to excite them and remind them why they have registered and showed up to the live webinar.</p>
<p>Basically you&#8217;re telling them the same great value and benefits you&#8217;ve outlined in the webinar&#8217;s registration page.<br />
Tell them the benefit and what they will learn today in you live webinar.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Questions Reminder</span></p>
<p>Attendees always have questions. The best practice is not to answer questions sent during the main part of the webinar (unless it is something you feel that is extremely important). You need to tell them that you are going to answer each one of their questions at a designated time at &#8220;the end of the webinar&#8221; (which for you is after you finish offering your product or service).</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Your Story</span></p>
<p>Most of the webinar&#8217;s attendees don’t really know you. You need to establish a rapport with them, meaning justify why they should listen to you in the next hour or so and learning from you.</p>
<p>The story should be 3-5 minutes. Don’t make it cheesy (there is a strategy on how to tell your story called &#8220;The Hero Story&#8221; or &#8220;The Disney Story which in the future I will write specifically about).</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Content</span></p>
<p>This is the part where you&#8217;re fulfilling your promise.</p>
<p>Meaning this is the time where you give them the great value, benefits and learnings you promised them.</p>
<p>Make it the best content you can give using a slideshow presentation. Make sure it has less words (don’t read the slides – it is boring and people will leave the webinar right away), add pictures, make it educational.</p>
<p>Interact with them, ask them questions during the webinar to keep the interaction and engagement with the attendees.</p>
<p>Don’t sell anything in this part of the webinar. Now it is all about them. If you give them the best value and content you have, they will more likely to buy from you in the next part of the webinar.</p>
<p>Usually the value content part of the webinar is about 40-45 minutes.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Offer</span></p>
<p>In this part of the live webinar you&#8217;re offering them to continue to learn from you and get great value helping them with their pains and goals.</p>
<p>You offer them your product or service in a special price for the live webinar attendees – make sure that if you offer this product or service on your website that the offer on the webinar is much better than what is offered there.</p>
<p>The offer part of the presentation should begin between 45 to 55 minutes after the live webinar began.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Questions</span></p>
<p>Once you&#8217;ve completed offering your product or service, it is time to answer the audience questions (as you&#8217;ve outlined at the beginning of the webinar).</p>
<p>I love this part of the webinar.</p>
<p>This is the time where you can relate to each person specifically (something that is more difficult to do during the webinar).</p>
<p>First, acknowledge each person and question. I would say something like: &#8220;John is asking, does it make sense to make a webinar on weekends? Thank you John for the question.</p>
<p>Secondly, I will reply the question making sure I am to the point but also trying to broaden the question so I can relate to the other attendees who are listening to the Q&amp;A.</p>
<p>Thirdly, I am going to make a closure to the question saying something like &#8220;John, I hope that answers your question and if it didn&#8217;t then please tell me&#8221;.</p>
<p>How long should the Q&amp;A be?</p>
<p>To answer that I want to share with you an amazing fact. From my over 600 live webinars experience, going past the 20 minutes of answering questions, we are getting a second big wave of sales.</p>
<p>That means you should definitely go over the 20 minutes and answer as long as you have attendees listening, there are new questions that have not been answered and you&#8217;re still getting more sales.</p>
<p>On one side don’t make it too long but I&#8217;d say you should practice common sense. We did have a live webinar once beginning at 9:00 pm, starting questions at around 10:10 pm and going in to questions until half past midnight since it made lots of sense.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Segment #05 – After The Webinar</strong></span><br />
You&#8217;ve finished the webinar, but it has not completed yet and you can still deliver more value and create additional revenues even after the webinar itself is delivered.</p>
<p>You have 4 groups of people who registered to your webinar that you need to handle:</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Group #01 &#8211; Registered And Not Attended</span></p>
<p>The people who registered and didn&#8217;t attend the actual live webinar are a big group that did not get the value and the benefits that you&#8217;ve shared.</p>
<p>While this group is not the general audience that didn&#8217;t even register, the next step for you is to invite them again to the same webinar.</p>
<p>This can be either by doing a live Encore or to a Replay.</p>
<p>Once they re-register, you need to follow the same process above to remind them and &#8220;re-sell&#8221; the webinar to make sure they attend.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Group #02 &#8211; Attended &amp; Left Early</span></p>
<p>This is the group of attendees who actually came and left early (meaning they left before you were able to offer them your products and services).</p>
<p>The first thing I would do is look at the webinar data to understand at what point in your presentation I had many people drop. This will give you more understanding on how you can improved your webinar presentation to make sure you have less people to leave early.</p>
<p>This group should be handled with a type of message of them leaving early, missing these amazing benefits and invite them to the live Encore or to the replay.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Group #03 &#8211; Attended The Full Webinar &amp; Didn&#8217;t Buy</span></p>
<p>This group is a highly targeted group of people that watched your offer to buy your products and services but didn’t buy.</p>
<p>You can approach them in a few ways:</p>
<p>a). Send them a full replay of the webinar (where at the end they can complete the purchase).</p>
<p>b). Send them the recording of only the offer part.</p>
<p>c). You can ask them how can you help them to order your product and services (this can also give you direct feedback from them telling you why they didn&#8217;t take you on the offer you’ve made on the live webinar).</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Group #04 &#8211; Attended &amp; Buy</span></p>
<p>This group is no different than any new client you had before. You need to fulfill their order as soon as possible (if it is online delivery then make sure it is fulfilled right away and they get instant access).</p>
<p>Like any new buyers, some have, what we call &#8220;buyers&#8217; remorse&#8221; and you need to take the necessary steps to strength their purchase decision.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Getting people to register to your webinar or live event is only one of the tasks you have when creating free webinars or free events.</p>
<p>When you&#8217;re have a free event, the level of commitment of the person that has registered for free is lower than a person that is paying for attending.</p>
<p>In the past few years we have had over 600 webinars, 15 online conferences and 48 offline events and we have tested 21 different techniques to increase the attendance rate that can be used both in online and offline events.</p>
<p>While all of these techniques have created and increase in the attendance rate to our webinars, online events and offline events, you should test them in your own niche and your audience to see which of these techniques are creating you the maximum results and which are not.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #01 &#8211; Engagement</strong></span></p>
<p>The more a webinar registrant is engaged to you and your message, the more likely that he will show up for the live webinar.</p>
<p>The best way to engage with is by communicating with them in multiple channels.</p>
<p>The most cost-effective way to engage with the registrants is by sending them emails with questions and request a reply back to them.</p>
<p>Now, not only that we are getting them engaged towards attending the live webinar, asking the right questions, we are also able to improve the webinar by approaching the questions that most of your registrants are looking answers for (and we can also communicate it to them on the email reminders, showing them we will be talking exactly on the things that they want).</p>
<p>Here are the 3 questions we usually ask our webinars&#8217; registrants (in a general format):</p>
<ol>
<li>What is the biggest challenge you have right now in your….?</li>
<li>Why is it important to you to get/solve it right now?</li>
<li>What prevents you from getting/solving it right now?</li>
</ol>
<p>While only 25% to 40% reply to this email with detailed reply, we see that the attendance rate goes by 10% to 20% and in terms of money, we were able to increase the revenues by 10% to 20%.</p>
<p>Since this is the most cost-effective engagement technique there is, we use every time for both in webinars and offline events.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #02 &#8211; Email Reminder Sequence</strong></span></p>
<p>This is a great way to communicate with your registrants to remind them on the webinar, the date &amp; time, the value you&#8217;re going to share with them during the webinar and more.</p>
<p>At the end of the day, emails are the cheapest way to communicate with them and they expect you to send them these emails.</p>
<p>We call it the &#8220;Email Reminder Sequence&#8221; as you need to send a few emails – we send 3 in our normal sequence:</p>
<p>1st email is sent as soon as the person registered.</p>
<p>2nd email is sent 2 days before the webinar.</p>
<p>3rd email is sent 30 minutes before the webinar.</p>
<p>Again, make sure you&#8217;re email are filed with value and it is like you are &#8220;marketing&#8221; again the webinar to them and why they should be attending the live webinar.</p>
<p>You can (and should) use the emails to communicate some of the other techniques you will read.</p>
<p>It is always good to ask for the registrant number, it can be used in 3 different ways in terms of reminders: Real Person, Text and Voice.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #03 &#8211; Reminder Calls</strong></span></p>
<p>There is no better way than an actual person calling on behalf of you reminding the registrants about the live webinar and how important it is for them be there or they will miss out of all the great value you&#8217;re going to share.</p>
<p>The most critical component is the human interacting with them and asking for their commitment to attend.)</p>
<p>When making these calls, after we remind the person, you need to simply ask them a fairly simple question: are they going to attend the webinar &#8211; expecting a Yes / No / Maybe answer.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Yes</span> &#8211; If they were planning on attending, we confirmed they have all the information to connect on time.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">No</span> &#8211; If they indicated they are not planning to attend, we wished them well and invited them to participate in future events.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Maybe</span> – Try to find out why it is a maybe. If they don’t understand the value, it is the time to give them the biggest befits and takeaways they are going to have by being on the live webinar. If it is an issue of schedule, offer them to register them to a different date &amp; time webinar (if you&#8217;ve already scheduled one).</p>
<p>While it is a lot of hassle, the numbers are making it worthwhile. By calling and reminding them to attend, we&#8217;ve increase the attendance rate by 25% &#8211; 50%.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #04 &#8211; Reminder Text Messages</strong></span></p>
<p>Send your attendees a text reminder for the webinar.</p>
<p>We usually send 2 reminders. The first one 2 days before the live webinar and the second one is 20 minutes before (if it is an offline event, we sent the reminders 3 days before and at the day of the event, early morning as they need to get to the evet location and 20 minutes would not be sufficient).</p>
<p>In the second reminder to the webinar (20 min before) we also provide again the link to make it as easy as possible for them to attend (with a click of a link…).</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #05 &#8211; Reminder Voice Messages</strong></span></p>
<p>This technique of sending registrants a voice message to remind is really powerful. All you need to do is either have someone record saying that you&#8217;re expecting to see them on the webinar or record it yourself.</p>
<p>While having an actual person calling them is the best reminder the voice message reminder is easier and done automatically in a push of a button and still by people hear a voice message from a real person (possibly you), you&#8217;re increasing their likelihood of attending.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #06 &#8211; Attending Free Gift</strong></span></p>
<p>Everyone likes to get gift and this is why offering your attendees free gifts, just for showing to the webinar, is a great way to make them show.</p>
<p>You can tell them in advance what is the gift or you can surprise them at the end of the webinar.</p>
<p>Also make sure that this free gift is not something that conflicts with the product or service you&#8217;re planning on offering towards the end of the webinar.</p>
<p>This is also a great way to make sure they stay until the end of the webinar (after your offer).</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #07 &#8211; Ruffle</strong></span></p>
<p>Like gifts, a ruffle is a form of gift that is being given just to one or a few of the attendees.</p>
<p>The same rules as gifts apply here as well:</p>
<p>A ruffle should be conducted at the end of the webinar after you offer your product or service and make sure it doesn&#8217;t conflict.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #08 – Prizes</strong></span></p>
<p>A free prize is a way to not only reward the webinar attendees but also to make sure they show up on time.</p>
<p>Instead of offering a ruffle or a gift to everyone who attend the webinar, you can:</p>
<p>a) Award the first XX people who join the actual live webinar.</p>
<p>b) Award anyone who joins the actual live webinar until the time you begin.</p>
<p>c) Mixing a + b together: meaning you will award the prize to anyone showing on time but only until XX People.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #09 &#8211; Add To Calendar</strong></span></p>
<p>A great way to remind attendee that he needs to go online to your webinar is by utilizing his own calendar reminder, locally (remember, the more ways you engage and remind them about the webinar, the more likely they will show up).</p>
<p>So you need to add this option to your registration process.</p>
<p>While some of the webinar technologies do support and offer a calendar button option in the thank you page, not all of them do.</p>
<p>If the technology you&#8217;ve selected doesn&#8217;t support it or you’re creating your own pages, then you can use this following free <a href="http://www.addtocalendar.com/" target="_blank">&#8220;Add to Calendar&#8221;</a> option to your webpage to make sure its gets added to their calendar and you get more attendees showing up:</p>

<p>Adding mystery, adds an intrigue element to your live webinar.</p>
<p>What can be a mystery element?</p>
<p>A mystery element for your live webinar could be a mystery guest (this is what it is often used for), guest speaker that will join you. It can also be a client of yours that for the first time going to share his results and how he was able to get to them.</p>
<p>Another mystery element could be that during the webinar it will be the first time you will share a secret technique, strategy or activity that can help the attendees to reach the success they want very fast.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #11 &#8211; Retargeting Campaigns</strong></span></p>
<p>People are exposed to huge amount of messages every day. In order to make sure you and your webinar is in their mind, you need to approach them in as many communication channels as possible.</p>
<p>Using the power of paid retargeting advertising, you are able to be &#8220;in their face&#8221; from the moment they&#8217;ve registered to the webinar communicating different messages towards them showing up to the live webinar.</p>
<p>The two best advertising platforms for you to retarget the webinar registrants are on Google using their remarketing tool and Facebook Exchange.</p>

<p>There are always people who are not able to connect or can&#8217;t find the link to connect to the live webinar.</p>
<p>The fact is that you cannot support them with their local technical issues as you&#8217;re about to begin the live webinar and you need to focus on the value you&#8217;re about to give the people.</p>
<p>There are 2 ways to handle this issue:</p>
<p>The first way is you can hire or ask someone to help you with answering people who email you they have an issue getting online with you.</p>
<p>In the second way, (which I recommend to do in any webinar) you can actually reduce these issues to minimum by sending in advance to all registrants an email with:</p>
<p>a) A link to a detailed video that shows them, step-by-step, how to connect and join you right now to the live webinar. This should be both text and a link to videos how to connect on different devices</p>
<p>b) A link to register to the webinar again (if they didn&#8217;t get the confirmation email).</p>

<p>As outlined in the above technique, some registrants have difficulties to get on the live webinar and a great way to minimize this issue and increase attendance is by helping them get into the live webinar.</p>
<p>One day we&#8217;ve decided that we&#8217;re going to be testing the different solutions (systems) in the market to run a live webinar.</p>
<p>There are many live webinar solution and I will probably write a separated article outlining the different options you have.</p>
<p>While in most cases we found that GoToWebinar is the best, we found out that it can be different between the different niches because of the type of audience that you&#8217;re targeting.</p>
<p>Thus I recommend that although it is best to use GoToWebinar, over time, you should be testing different systems to get different people to actually attend your live webinar.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #14 – Speaker&#8217;s Rapport</strong></span></p>
<p>Rapport is very important and a big component in getting people to show up to your webinar.</p>
<p>Whether it is just you or you have a guest speaker in your webinar, it is always a great thing to build a rapport to the person who is going to speak on the webinar.</p>
<p>Send exciting information about yourself, maybe a social proof video, testimonials &#8211; anything that will increase your rapport and get people more excited to show up to listen to you and get the great value that you want to share with them.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #15 &#8211; Social Proof</strong></span></p>
<p>When communicating with the webinar registrants, engaging, building rapport, you have to give them social proof.</p>
<p>Social proof can be provided by simple yet powerful delivery of video text, images and links for clients testimonials (on yourself, on the results they&#8217;ve received by working with you or even on the webinar itself and what they&#8217;ve taken from being on it live) and pictures and videos (of clients showing their results or that are creating a social proof of who you are and why they should attend the webinar and listen to you.</p>
<p>You can also send a screenshot of the last webinar you had XXX amount of registrants and YYY amounts of attendees to show your webinars are demanded.</p>
<p>Depending on what niche you are in, you need to deliver the right social proof.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #16 &#8211; Scarcity</strong></span></p>
<p>The dictionary definition for scarcity is &#8220;the state of being scarce or in short supply, a shortage&#8221;.</p>
<p>You can create the urge to attend the webinar by adding a scarcity element into your messages.</p>
<p>From our extensive experience, we&#8217;ve found that there are 3 powerful scarcity options that work the best:</p>
<ol>
<li>Limited Seats – this depends on the technology you have (if you had encounter before a situation where you actually had more people want to get into the webinar then actually can get on it, communicate it – and if you have a screenshot, use that as well).</li>
<li>Last Time – If this is the last time you&#8217;re doing this specific webinar, make sure you communicate it to your audience.</li>
<li>No Recording – This is very powerful scarcity option that we&#8217;ve actually turned it into a technique by itself (see the next technique below).</li>
</ol>
<p>You have to use scarcity in a smart &amp; real way. Adding the scarcity element is very powerful but comes with a big responsibility.</p>
<p>You have to make it in a believable and reliable way that you can stand behind and making sure that you do not break your credibility with your audience.</p>
<p>What does it mean?</p>
<p>It means that if you&#8217;re planning to make this webinar many more times in the next few months, don’t use the &#8220;Last Time&#8221; scarcity option. But you may use like we just did, announcing on a webinar to be the last one until the summer ends – while it is maybe &#8220;less powerful&#8221; it is still great to use, as the webinar was in early June and the next one will be in later September.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #17 &#8211; No Recording</strong></span></p>
<p>By announcing that your webinar will not be recorded thus you will not be sending a recording and if they don’t show, they will miss the great value you&#8217;ve prepared for them.</p>
<p>Yes, this is a scarcity technique but it is very powerful and important that I&#8217;ve decided to put it in highlight.</p>
<p>Make sure that you don’t announce that there will be no recording and then send a recording.</p>

<p>Most people have their own weekly agenda and recurring activities. That means that if a person has a yoga class every Tuesday and Thursday and these are the days you are usually having your live webinars, he most likely never to show up.</p>
<p>So what is the best day to have a webinar?</p>
<p>We&#8217;ve tested every day of the week:</p>
<p>Sunday<br />
Monday<br />
Tuesday<br />
Wednesday<br />
Thursday<br />
Friday<br />
Saturday</p>
<p>We&#8217;ve tested and the results were very interesting:</p>
<p>Every day we&#8217;ve selected we had many new people that have never attended the same webinar we&#8217;ve been running for the past 6 months.</p>
<p>What does it mean to you?</p>
<p>Test the different days of the week and find out which day works the best for you and no matter what day works for you best, always have the same webinar over time in different days to maximize the attendees&#8217; rate to your live webinar.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #19 &#8211; Time</strong></span></p>
<p>Like the day of the week, time is a big factor.</p>
<p>And like the day, we&#8217;ve tested different time of the day:</p>

<p>The best times of the day we found that brings the most attendees to show up were:</p>

<p>So what is the best time for you?</p>
<p>Not surprisingly, you need to test it. Like selecting the day, in the different times of the days we got many new and different attendees that have never attended the same webinar we&#8217;ve been running for the past 6 months.</p>
<p>Test the different times and find what works best for you and make sure that you always have over time, webinars in different times (as people are busy in different times of the day).</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #20 &#8211; Promotion Time Period</strong></span></p>
<p>While most webinars are being promoted for 3-5 days, we&#8217;ve decided to test if changing the time period from 3 to 5 days makes a difference.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ve tested the exact same webinar in 4 ways:</p>
<p>Test #01 – 30 days of webinar promotion</p>
<p>Test #02 – 5 days of webinar promotion</p>
<p>Test #03 – 1 day of webinar promotion (24 hours)</p>
<p>Test #04 – 0 days of webinar promotion (yes, ZERO days, we actually sent an email 25 minutes before the webinar began)</p>
<p>Here are the results of attendance rate in each one of the groups:</p>
<p>Test #01 – 30 days: 20% attendance</p>
<p>Test #02 – 5 days: 25% attendance</p>
<p>Test #03 – 1 day: 35% attendance</p>
<p>Test #04 – 0 days: 100% attendance</p>
<p>Our conclusions were:</p>
<p>The attendance rate went down as we promoted the webinar for a longer time period and went up as we shorten the time period.</p>
<p>The more time we promoted the event, the number of registrants and attendees went up and went down as we shorten the time period.</p>
<p>This amazing 100% attendance rate is created whoever registered a few minutes before we begin, was immediately got connected to the live webinar (which was already open and ready to begin at that time).</p>
<p>The great thing about this 0 days promotion tactic is that you&#8217;re not tiring your list with multiple emails, while at the same time we found out we got only 50% to 60% of the number of attendees in a 5 days promotion (but still great result for a single email minutes before we began!!!)</p>
<p>So how many days before the live webinar you should start promoting?</p>
<p>Use our results as a great reference to decode and test it yourself as well.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Technique #21 &#8211; Worksheets</strong></span></p>
<p>Creating worksheets that your webinar attending can use while you&#8217;re having the live webinar is a great way to create engagement throughout the webinar itself making sure people follow up on you as you are sharing the great value content you have.</p>
<p>By sending these worksheets in advance to the webinar registrants, you will be increasing the attendees&#8217; rate, meaning the number of people who are actually showing up to the live webinar.</p>
<p>This should be communicate through the reminder emails sent to the webinars&#8217; registrants reminding them to print it and bring it to the live webinar as they will help them achieve more when they show up and participate.</p>
<p>It is also recommended that when you&#8217;re going live on the webinar, to keep reminding the ones who showed up, to print out the worksheets right away, on the spot (if they haven’t done so until then).</p>

<p>Always measure and compare the results – many times you will find that implementing a few of the techniques above together will have a big impact and grow your attendance results fast.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>What is a webinar?</strong></span></p>
<p>A webinar is a broadcast where you transfer knowledge to the people who attend. The most common format you probably know is the webinar where you see a slideshow and hear the voice of the presenter as the slides are moving forward.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Is webinar right for you?</strong></span></p>
<p>Yes, Yes and another BIG YES!</p>
<p>No matter in what niche you are, or what your business is all about, webinar is right for you and your business. Until this day, I have never came across with a niche that webinar is not the right thing to do:</p>

<li>Fitness</li>
<li>Health</li>
<li>Computers</li>
<li>Marketing</li>
<li>Sales</li>
<li>Fashion</li>
<li>Knitting</li>
<li>Dancing (Yes even dancing!!!)</li>
<li>Cars</li>
<li>Boats</li>
<li>Traveling</li>
<li>Any hobby</li>
</ul>
<p>The fact is I can keep on going with this list a lifetime… like I said, you can do it about anything and about any niche or topic you want.</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Unlimited New Clients</span></p>
<p>The internet has completely changed the world – There are no more borders and barriers where you can reach and help anyone, no matter where they are in the world.</p>
<p>Our clients list are global and you can find them from the far east and the pacific ocean to Asia, Europe, Africa and America.</p>
<p>Using webinars allowing us to maximize the interaction with them and get new clients.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Delivering Value to Your Audience</span></p>
<p>You can interact with your audience on a daily basis with video, audio, text but the most powerful way to deliver your value to your audience is by having an actual interaction between you and your audience. Webinars allow you do that while you get instant feedback from your audience on live webinars.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Building Your Brand, An Authority &amp; An Expert Status</span></p>
<p>I always say that &#8220;It is easy to stand up, but it is hard to stand out!&#8221; meaning, anyone can start his own business or online entrepreneurship (standing up) but the tricky thing is how you can stand out of the other businesses in your niche.</p>
<p>Most business owners and entrepreneurs do not utilize the power of webinars to their advantage and you can stand out by having your own webinar and your targeted audience will see you differently that will build you the authority and expert status for your niche and brand both your business and yourself.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">List Building</span></p>
<p>Webinars is one of the most powerful and fastest ways to build or grow a list. This can be achieved by social media, joint webinars, referrals and paid advertising.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Increase Income</span></p>
<p>The fact that you can reach anyone and have the maximum interaction with them allowing you to increase your income or possibly create revenues with webinars from zero.</p>
<p>Fast and big revenues.</p>
<p>There are 4 ways to generate income from a webinar which will be detailed later below.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">No Tech Stuff</span></p>
<p>The fact is that in order to make a successful webinar, you don’t need to be a &#8216;techie&#8217; person nor you need any special technology equipment.</p>
<p>I will outline below in details what tools you need to have.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">No Special Speaking Skills</span></p>
<p>Anyone can go on a webinar and speak, there is no special speaking skills you need. If you craft yourself a great slideshow presentation and prepare yourself right, you will be able to make your first webinar right now.</p>
<p>Will your next webinar be better than the first one? Yes! But think about it, isn’t everything you do in your live today (even if you&#8217;ve made it a million times before), you will do better tomorrow?&#8230; we are improving every day and it is a process. Embrace it, grow and have fun!</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Record, Replay &amp; Automate</span></p>
<p>Webinars can and should be recorded. There are 2 great reasons to do so:</p>
<p>The first reason is that you can utilize the same webinar and send your audience a replay of the webinar and even automate the process where there is an automated webinar running 24/7 for you.</p>
<p>The second reason is for your improvement process. I always recommend for you to watch your webinar recording in the following 24 to 48 hours, write yourself note, where the webinar can be improved (as this is all about delivering the best value you can).</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Cost Effective</span></p>
<p>There is no other better cost effective way to reach your audience in a powerful way and get great results, more clients and high revenues.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>How Do You Make Money With Webinars?</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Selling Your Products &amp; Services (Free Webinars)</span></p>
<p>This is probably the most common way (but as you can already see, not the only way) to make money on webinars.</p>
<p>You bring your audience to your webinar, give great value and towards the end you offer them to continue getting value from you and offer them a real special offer to join you by buying your products and services.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Selling Tickets To The Webinar (Paid Webinars)</span></p>
<p>While selling tickets to participate in a webinar (also called paid webinar) is not very common, it is a highly powerful way to new clients on board and generate high revenues.</p>
<p>Now the selling of the tickets is just the first step as during the webinar, you&#8217;re also going to sell your products &amp; services.</p>
<p>By selling tickets to be on your webinar, you are actually bringing to the webinar the most serious potential clients and the fact they&#8217;ve paid to be on the webinar, proves that they are and they are more likely to buy your product or service.</p>
<p>Now you probably thinking, why anyone would buy his way to participate in a webinar, after all, almost all webinars are for free and that is a great question.</p>
<p>This income model is not for a simple webinar but for what we call online training. Usually it is a 2 to 3 hours of online training and you deliver much more value than a regular webinar which is typically for about one hour.</p>
<p>The legendary Chet Holmes has joint forces with Tony Robbins and they&#8217;ve had a webinar together for businesses that they&#8217;ve sold tickets for with a big promise that if at the end of the webinar training they didn&#8217;t deliver 10x the value of the ticket they&#8217;ve paid, they will refund their money.</p>
<p>By delivering high value, they were able to get high value clients with no requests for refunds.</p>
<p>While I would definitely advise you to start with a free webinar, I want you to remember this model as in the future it would totally make sense for you to create a paid webinar training.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Selling Nothing On Your Webinar (Free Webinars)</span></p>
<p>Now we&#8217;re talking about making money by selling nothing on a webinar – Yes, it is possibly.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m sure this probably caught your eyes and many don’t really know this is possible.</p>
<p>The fact is that many don’t really think about it, doesn’t mean it can&#8217;t be done. It is probably not a good for everyone, but you should know it and see how you can make it work for your niche, your audience and your business.</p>
<p>To best explain how it works, I will share this story about one of our clients that owns a company that is implementing CRM systems (customer relation management) incorporates that by utilizing this no selling free webinar model was able to more than triple his business in just 4 months.</p>
<p>The CRM systems are very complex and new features and sub-systems are created every month.</p>
<p>Together with him we&#8217;ve created a monthly webinar. In these monthly webinars he is showing the new features and sub-systems and explaining how their businesses and companies can benefit from utilizing them.</p>
<p>He invites to his monthly webinar both current and potential clients.</p>
<p>Every time he finishes a webinar, he gets at least 2-3 calls from webinars participants that want him to help him implement these new systems in their operation. Each project is worth between thousands to tens of thousands of dollars – big money!</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Selling Sponsorships</span></p>
<p>A webinar is an event and like any other event, you can sell sponsorships to companies and businesses who target the same audience you are and want the benefit of reaching them fast.</p>
<p>There are 2 things you need to remember when it comes to selling sponsorships to your webinar:</p>
<p>1) Take sponsors only it makes sense. Meaning they are not your competitors and do not conflict with what you do. One of the webinars we have is how to make money using webinars. We can certainly take sponsors from companies that are selling webinars applications.</p>
<p>2) Sponsors are coming when you either have big audience (meaning you have hundreds of attendees for your webinar) or if it is a very targeted small, high-end and profitable niche that it makes sense to sponsor, even if you have just a few tens of attnedess.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Tools You Need To Make A Webinar</span></p>
<p><em>Computer</em></p>
<p>While you can do a webinar with smart devices such as smartphones and tablets, I would recommend to make webinars with a computer. It is the best practice and you should follow it.</p>
<p><em>Internet Connection</em></p>
<p>You need to have a good internet connection. The best way to know if your connection is ok or you need to improve it, is to test it. Make a demo webinar, have a few friends or family members somewhere else that where you are and ask them to watch and see that the audio and video is received well and flows right.</p>
<p><em>Slideshow Presentation</em></p>
<p>Webinar broadcast audio and video. While today you can actually broadcast in your webinar both the slideshow presentation and video, most people rather not make a webinar with the audience actually seeing them.</p>
<p>That is perfectly fine.</p>
<p>Some of our best webinars are actually the ones without the audience actually seeing us.</p>
<p>But you shouldn&#8217;t just have a blank screen with the name of the webinar. It is boring, you are going to lose your attendees attention and they are likely to leave the webinar as you&#8217;re having it.</p>
<p>It is recommended to build a slideshow presentation, something simple, yet powerful with not a lot of text. Don’t put a text and just read it – have bullet points on screen (this is one of the benefits of webinars where you can actually have notes in your hands with more things you want to talk about… just make sure you don&#8217;t read it from the paper, use them as reference).</p>
<p><em>Webinar Software</em></p>
<p>There are many webinar software both free and paid, each has its own advantages and disadvantages. In the next few weeks I am going to write an article about the Best Webinar Software but until I am going to publish it here, my best recommendation for you is to start with <a href="http://citrixonline.evyy.net/c/248326/209404/810" target="_blank">GoToWebinar</a>. It has 30 days free trial and then it is paid. The reason I recommend it for you right now as you want to make money and you want to use a powerful software that can support your needs in the best way (after all you are aiming to make thousands and tens of thousands of dollars).</p>

<p>But before we dive into the type of Facebook posts, I want to give you my most powerful 3 rules or you can also call it guidelines when doing social media that you should follow as well:</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Rule #01 – Fast &amp; On The Go</strong></span><br />
Most of the activities should be non-time consuming so if you find yourself spending too much time on social media and being stressed I have a great strategy for you:</p>
<p>Make posts on the go – you have an idea, you&#8217;ve just made a video or found a great article, make the social media post right on the spot. There is no better time than now. Just using this strategy will make your life easier and stress free and you&#8217;ll be able to generate multiple posts per day.</p>
<p>You can also outsource some of the social activities and start using available technologies to make your social posting easier.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>Rule #02 – Fun &amp; Enjoyable</strong></span><br />
Yes it is business, but it has to be fun and enjoyable. If you don’t like to do it, don’t do it and outsource it.</p>

The all idea behind social media is to make it interesting, intriguing and engaging to get your audience to connect to you, to your brand and share it with others. Every now and then you should post a promotion, an offer or a special deal. While usually it should be your business offers, sometimes you can recommend other offers &#8211; even an affiliate offer can work as well.</p>
<p>Just make sure your social media post doesn’t turn to be a sales page with multiple offers and deals in every other post. When you post a direct offer, make sure you do it smart and in the right time.</p>

Business is not contacted between businesses but between people. It is all about the people. People love to connect to businesses on a personal level and this is actually the easiest of all of the social media post type as all you need to do is share your personal, lifestyle moments.</p>
<p>How personal?</p>
<p>Well, it doesn’t need to be too personal, you can set the tone, make it fun, show your lifestyle, share great personal moments, achievements – it is both inspiring and connecting you to your audience, making both you and your business human.</p>

<p>Take these great examples and think how you can use them in your social media activities, make it on the go and have a lot of fun!</p>
