<p>At the L.A. Auto Show, Chevrolet presents the he U.S. production version of the 2011 Cruze compact sedan. It is boosted by either a new Ecotec 1.4L I-4 turbo that produces 138 horsepower and 148 torque or a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine.</p>
<p>The Cruze gets also six-speed automatic and manual transmissions, electronic stability control with rollover sensing and fuel-saving, rack-mounted electric power steering.</p>
<p>The compact sedan sports also Bluetooth, USB connectivity, navigation system, XM Satellite Radio and OnStar. The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze will be available in the US in Q3 2010.</p>

<p>CompuLab introduces the new fit-PC2i ultra compact PC, which is a variation of <a title="CompuLab fit-PC2" href="http://www.itechnews.net/2009/05/15/fit-pc2-worlds-smallest-pc-gets-atom/" target="_self">fit-PC2</a> targeting networking and industrial applications. Like its predecessor, the fit-PC2i is powered by Intel&#8217;s Atom Z5xx processor up to 2GHz, up to 2GB of RAM and onboard Intel GMA500 graphics.</p>
<p>The main features of the mini PC is its Dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g as well. The fit-PC2i offers a 2.5-inch SATA hard drive bay and a miniSD card slot and users can add the optional onboard 4GB flash memory. There are four USB 2.0 ports, a RS232 series port, and a DVI video output (up to 1920&#215;1080).</p>
<p>CompuLab&#8217;s fit-PC2i has an industrial grade die-cast aluminum shell and runs fanless at 6-8W. OS choices include Windows Server, Windows 7, Windows XP, Ubuntu Linux. It will be available in January 2010.</p>

<p>Fujitsu announced the LifeBook UH900, an ultra compact, ultra lightweight handheld PC/<a title="MID" href="http://www.itechnews.net/tag/mid" target="_self">MID</a>/netbook (or whatever you call it) with multitouch. The UH900 gets a 5.6-inch &#8220;vivid glare screen&#8221; with 300nit brightness and WXGA resolution. The screen is sunlight readable. It runs Windows 7 and includes multitouch support.</p>
<p>The LifeBook UH900 is equipped with an Intel Atom Z530 processor and 62GB <a title="SSD" href="http://www.itechnews.net/tag/ssd" target="_self">SSD</a>. It comes with integrated support for 3.5G mobile network. You can also find a QWERTY keyboard, webcam, stereo microphone and Bluetooth. The pocket-sized device measures 204 x 106.5 x 23.8mm and weighs less than 500g. It will come in Mocha Black, Fiery Red and Vintage Gold in glossy finish.</p>

Yamaha will release later this month its YSP-5100 Digital Sound Projector, the successor to the YSP-4100. The new soundbar supports 7.1-channel surround sound and offers 120W output power. It supports Dolby TrueHD/Digital Plus, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX, Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby Pro Logic II as well as dts-HD Master Audio, dts,ES, dts Neo:6 audio codec.</p>
<p>Yamaha YSP-5100 features UniVolume, Bass EXT Bass EXT and supports AirWired (aka yAired) for wireless music streaming. Yamaha&#8217;s new system provides four HDMI inputs and one HDMI output. It will be priced at about 200,000 Yen.</p>

<p>LG announced the world’s first commercial launch of 3D LCD panel boasting full HD resolution. The first product to be released will be a 23-inch 3D LCD display with Full HD resolution. LG&#8217;s offering is able to reproduce both 2D and 3D images, meaning that users can switch back and forth from 2D and 3D modes.</p>
<p>According to LG, South Korea is going to start a trial service for the world’s first full HD 3D terrestrial broadcasting from the second half of 2010.</p>

<p>Exemode Japan launches a new budget-priced <a title="Full HD Camcorder" href="http://www.itechnews.net/tag/Full-HD-Camcorder" target="_self">Full HD digital camcorder</a> under the brand Yashica. Known as the Yashica ADV-528HD, the camcorder has a 5 Megapixel CMOS sensor, 5x optical zoom lens, a 3-inch LCD display, 32MB internal memory and a SD/SDHC card slot.</p>
<p>Yashica ADV-528HD is able to record 1920&#215;1080p Full HD video and 1280&#215;720p at 30fps, using the H.264/AVC codec. Other than USB port, the video camera included also HDMI output. It is available in red and black and is priced at 24,800 Yen (US$282).</p>

<p>Runco, part of Planar, ships two QuantumColor Full HD LED projectors, the Q-750d and Q-750i. Both models are equipped with TI&#8217;s Single-Chip DLP chip and feature SuperOnyx DMD technology, InfiniLight LED lampless technology, Personal Color Equalizer and Runco SmartColor.</p>
<p>The Q-750d and Q-750i supports Full HD 1920&#215;1080p resolution and is able to projector up to 108-inch width images. The former offers one HDMI 1.3 and one RS-232 ports and the latter provides two HDMI, Component, Composite, S-video inputs. The more advanced Q-750d will come with Runco&#8217;s latest DHD external controller/processor.</p>
<p>Runco QuantumColor Q-750d and Q-750i are priced at $17,995 and $14,995 respectively.</p>

The Q2U is a dynamic handheld microphone with both an XLR output and a USB I/O, meaning it can connect directly to any live sound console or any computer with a USB input.</p>
<p>The Samson Q2U features a cardioid pickup pattern and a high-quality A/D converter with a 16-bit, 48kHz sampling rate as well as a built-in 3.5mm stereo headphone jack with volume control for no-latency monitoring during recording.</p>

<p>Nokia shows sneak peak of its 2010 Symbian S60 UI at its Capital Market Day event. Nokia adds support for multitouch input on large capacitive display and reduce clutter of the system. The new UI also minimize steps to function and offers improved browser experience.</p>

<p>A video on YouTube shows us some information of Nokia&#8217;s new N87 12MP, the follow-up to the <a title="Nokia N86 8MP" href="http://www.itechnews.net/2009/02/17/nokia-n86-8mp-slider-phone-videos/" target="_self">N86 8MP</a>. As the revealed in the video, the N87 12MP is getting a 12 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics with Xenon and Dual LED Flash and a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen with 800&#215;480 resolution.</p>
<p>The N87 is equipped with a 600MHz processor and up to 16GB internal storage capacity. Like the N86, it will be a slider phone with multimedia keys.</p>
