2.Since you are using it for the first time you will’ll need to start with the Notes section of the app.After some days or weeks you’ll have recent contacts listed in the People and Messages sections of the app to streamline the process a bit.

3.Tap the new note button in the top right-hand corner in the note area. Then,add a title for your note, followed by more detailed information to help you remember exactly what you need to talk about. The icons along the bottom of the screen let you decide if the note should appear on incoming, outgoing or both types of calls. Additionally, the person silhouette to the far right will let you link the appropriate contacts to the note. This feature is fantastic since you may need to ask several people the same question, like what they got another friend for their birthday, or if they can make lunch you have scheduled for all your friends next week.

4.When you’re finished, tap the check mark in the top right-hand corner to save the note. If you want to change any of the settings, simply tap the note to edit it. And if you forget to link someone on the note, you can just tap the person icon next to the note and find them in your address book.

5. The Settings area of the app lets you decide if you want to turn off all Incoming or Outgoing bytNotes, and whether you want birthday bytNotes set up for you. And that’s all you need to configure to have notes appearing on your caller screens.

Ashton kutcher as Steve jobs

Open Road Films and Five Star Feature Films today said the two companies reached a distribution deal for “jOBS.”

The film, which is not to be confused with a separate production penned by “The Social Network” and “The West Wing” writer Aaron Sorkin, stars Ashton Kutcher as Jobs. The movie will cover the years 1971 through 2000. That bit of Jobs’ history includes the founding of Apple, as well as his ouster, the forming of NeXT and Pixar, and then his return to the company when Apple acquired NeXT.

Principal photography on “jOBS” began in the Jobs family’s original house in June. Photos from the production have since leaked out, showing Kutcher and others in costume.

The film is set to premiere at the annual Sundance film festival in Park City, Utah.

Along with Kutcher, the movie also stars Matthew Modine as former Apple CEO John Sculley, Josh Gad as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and “The Help” star Ahna O’Reilly playing Chris-Ann Brennan, Jobs’ girlfriend, and the mother of his daughter Lisa. Other additions include J.K. Simmons and Kevin Dunn, who will play venture capitalist Arthur Rock and former Apple CEO Gil Amelio respectively.

So let’s get started:-

Step-1: Create new file in Photoshop, as usual size is 500 x 500 px. I choosed the background white, any light shade of gray would be good.Then create a new layer and name it “Paper”.The note paper will look cool if you use any light shade of yellow and white.Remember don’t use black or dark color because it won’t look good.

If you want it to be a square, hold down the shift key while creating it.

Step-2:Again create a new layer and name it “Shadow”.Now start drawing the shape for the shadow by selecting the pen tool and black color.

1. Let’s start with adding an anchor point in the bottom left corner.
2. Put the second anchor point in the bottom right corner, hold down the left mouse button and drag until the line is curved like in the picture.
3. Hold down the alt key and click on the second anchor point. Then add a new one in the top right corner. This one is not so much on the edge like the ones on the bottom.
4. Hold down the alt key and click on the third anchor point. Add the fourth anchor point in the top left corner, with the same distance from the edge of the paper like the previous one.
5. Hold down the alt key and click on the fourth anchor point. Click and hold the left mouse button on the starting anchor point to finish the shape. Drag it until it’s similar to the picture below.

Step-3:The shape for the shadow is all done.Next move the layer “shadow” under the layer “paper”. The shadow won’t be visible anymore but don’t worry. We need to add some blur.

Step-5:Now add some blur to get that shadow effect.Select the layer “shadow” and go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur. Set radius to 4,1 pixels and click on OK.

Step-6:I added some gradient on top of everything and some noise to the paper to make it even more realistic. Select the layer “paper” and go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise. Set the Amount to 2% and click on OK.  I rotated it for a few degrees, around 5 and added some text, font is Segoe Print.

Create a new layer and move it on top of all others. Select the gradient tool, from transparent to black color, radial.

Draw the gradient like in the picture below. Change the layer opacity to around 20%.

Now you are completely done with the all new product.It is so easy. Ain’t it?

All new Timeline design for facebook includes a tabbed look, allowing users to switch between friends, photos, and a person’s About page,according to ABC news.Another feature is that displaying Timeline updates by placing them in two columns has been modified to show updates on the left and friend and photo information on the right side.

So when scrolling through a profile page, it automatically scrolls through a person’s “about” information and then goes to friends, followed by photos, all within the same pane.

Facebook has begun rolling out an update to the publisher box where users can make status updates and share photos. Now users can drag and drop image files into the box to quickly share multiple photos from their News Feed or Timeline,according to Insidefacebook. The new look and the new features will make users feel easier to use Facebook.

In this tutorial we are going to learn how to create a paper curl effect in Photoshop.It is damn easy to create.But we should know the basics of drawing and use of pen tools in Photoshop before learning this.

Let’s get started:-

Step-1:First of all we need to create a new file in Photoshop, size about 600 x 400 px. A light background color would be better.Let’s choose light grey.

Step-2:Now create a new layer, name it “paper” and use the pen tool to draw a white shape like in the picture below.

Step-3:Again create a new layer and name it “paper curl”. Again, use the pen tool and draw the shape like in the picture below.

You should be mindful to put the anchor points on the edge of the shape on the “paper” layer.

Step-4: We’ll add the gradient effect to the “paper curl” layer to make it more realistic. Right click on the layer in the layers panel and select Blending Options.

Check the Gradient Overlay option on the left side and click on the gradient preview to set up something similar to this.

We should go in details here. We’re focusing on the stop points at the bottom, from left to right.

• The first two are there to make a glow effect on the edge of the curl.
• The third one is there to make a gradient from dark grey to light grey. It’s almost the same colour as the fourth one. I added it to  end the gradient at the middle of the curl.
• The colours from left to right: #eeeeee, #b3b2b8, #efeff1, #f4f4f4.

It’s important that you get this step right so here are other options of the Gradient Overlay effect.

So, if you’ve done everything right by now you should see something like this.

Step-5:Now time to make it realistic by adding some shadows.We’ll be adding three shadows to this paper curl effect to make it look realistic.

At first we’ll add the paper shadow. Select the “paper” layer and duplicate it. Change it’s name to “paper shadow” and change the colour of the duplicated shape (layer) to #565656. Move the “paper shadow” layer bellow the “paper” layer.

Go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur. Set it to 8.2 px and click OK.

Now go to Edit > Transform > Warp and move the edge points like in the picture below. Yes, move them out of the canvas.

After the transformation of the layer (shape), change it’s opacity to 25% and the Blending Mode to Multiply.

We’re not done with this shadow yet. The next step is very similar to this one but with more blur on the shadow layer.

Duplicate the “paper shadow” effect and go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur. Set it to around35 px and click OK. Rename the layer to “paper shadow 2″ and move it below the “paper shadow” layer.

Again, go to Edit > Transform > Warp but this time, move the points like this:

Step-6:Now we’ll add gradient.we’ll use the gradient overlay on the “paper” layer. So right click on the “paper” layer and go to Blending Options. Check the Gradient Overlay and use these options:

Now you are all done. If you succeeded you should now have a paper curl effect like the picture below:

Mozilla is set to interrupt the mobile OS space occupied by Apple, Android, and Windows 8 with its Firefox OS. The company has sent out a come and play message to app developers during its Mobile Monday Mixer event in San Francisco, where the company showcased the operating system to web and app developers.

“If you’re looking to build and develop mobile software without the 30 percent toll [Apple charges], Firefox OS will appeal to you,” Mozilla’s vice president of products Jay Sullivan said, immediately highlighting the perks of the Firefox OS’s free source background.

Sullivan was talking to developers working with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS, while among the 75 people in attendance there were a few developers from rival operating systems. Firefox OS is due early next year; follow the link below to get a hands look at the operating system working on a desktop.
