If you are looking for a city with everything; Sydney is definitely the place to go! Sydney is located in New South Wales in the south-east of Australia, and boasts a rich and diverse holiday experience. Whether looking for shopping, nightlife, beaches, mountains or heritage sites; Sydney has it all on offer!

Sydney itself sprawls around the elegant harbour with a river dissecting the city in half. Several metropolitan areas are home to great shopping areas, entertainment, culinary delights and nightlife. Must-see sites in the city include the Opera House, the Sydney Bridge and the Botanical Gardens which are all in close proximity to each other.

Sydney is very rich in diversity, and within a short distance visitors can find themselves enjoying activities on a beautiful sandy beach. Water sports are popular in the area or for the mellower visitor a relaxing day in the sun may suffice. A short drive up the road from Sydney, the amazing Blue Mountains will impress even the well-travelled person. The majestic mountains are steeped in history, and are a photographic opportunity not to be missed. Several waterfalls and lookout points are seen during the drive, and treks and hiking paths are on offer.

The impressive canyon was carved by the Colorado River over the last six million years, and is an astonishing site to behold. Located largely in the Grand Canyon National Park; visitors can spend days at a time enjoying the spectacular views of the Grand Canyon.

The Grand Canyon stretches over 277 miles long, with varying widths up to eighteen miles across. Although Grand Canyon is not the deepest canyon in the world; it is definitely the most impressive by its sheer size. There are also several historical buildings along the canyon including an old Watchtower, cabins, hotels and studios.

If you have ever wanted to see a tiger in the wild, a Tiger Safari in India is a must. The national parks in India are superb areas to witness these beautiful creatures in their natural environment.

Ranthambore National Park has over 300 kilometres of tracks and roadways where tigers can often be seen walking. The tigers often have soft padded feet so prefer to walk along the roads. Enjoying a safari in the national parks will ensure that visitors get a good chance of seeing these animals in the wild. The professional guides often know where tigers will be; whether walking, drinking or playing with their cubs. Patience is a virtue in the wild, and if you do not mind sitting quiet and patiently waiting, chances are that you will see one of the amazing tigers in India’s wild.

If you are looking to save some money yet enjoy yourself consider traveling within your own country or to a very close neighbor of your country. This step alone will ensue that you save a lot of money on air fare as well as hotel expenses if you have someone you can spend a few days with.

Travelling within the United States is always cheap and fun. There are various places you can visit within the United States which won’t drain your wallet dry. For instance visit Austin the capital of Texas this place is home to the famous pop culture and has a rich cultural feeling. Here you will find everything purely American. If you want to get a feel of what America was Austin is a great place to visit. While in Austin don’t forget to visit Texas. Texas has a lot to offer than most people think and things cost a whole lot cheaper in Texas than they do anywhere else in the United States.

The first rule about finding the best deals is to visit a travel agent who is either new or no one really knows about. These travel agents will usually have a promotion running in which they can offer you vacation packages at unbelievable rates. Established travel agents won’t offer you much in the way of deals and special packages.

Finding a deal online is much easier than walking into your nearest travel agent’s office. There are numerous online travel agents online who are willing to offer you as much as a 50 percent off during off season. If you look at it that is really a good deal. Other travel agents will also go as far as give you fee stuff just so that you come back. The key to finding a good deal is to visit a place that no one really knows about. The usual places such as Hawaii etc are all high traffic points especially during the peak season and chances of finding a good deal are quite slim.

It should also be a trip in which you explore new cultures and places. Often people who want to explore and look into ancient cultures either go to India or into the heart of Africa. India is an excellent place to visit it is home to over two billion people many of whom spend their live in poverty. However apart from that the Hindu culture is over a thousand years old and many of their customs date back to when Hinduism was originally founded.

Many of the temples and shrines are over a thousand years old and tell the tale of how the Indian culture evolved over the centuries which saw various kings comes and go. The best thing about India is you can actually find information and facts that date back to every point in India’s history. Starting from the brilliant Taj Mahal that tells the tale of the mogul rule in India to the latest technological boom in the form of technology parks and markets. Many of the streets in India date back to the time of the mughal empire which makes India a great place to visit.

Unfortunately there aren’t many ski resorts to go around and as soon as it hits winter there are just too many people crowding up the slopes. If you are new to the sport of skiing you won’t really mind the crowd as you don’t plan on going too fast but for pros local ski resorts can be a pain and only a journey to Switzerland can really fuel their passion to own the slope. If you are planning on visiting Switzerland this winter to hit the slopes there are a few things you need to confirm. If you are going through a travel agent make sure that he knows the purpose of your visit let him know that you are looking for a place to ski and to avoid the crowds. Ask him what he would suggest as most travel agents know their way around most countries they will definitely be able to point you in the right direction. Once you have decided upon a ski resort it’s time to get yourself prepared if you haven’t skied in a while its time that you began practicing as slopes in Switzerland can be very unforgiving.
