We spent an amazing day in Kanab. We ate a great breakfast, visited Moqui Cave, Best Friends Pet Sanctuary, hiked and also went to Little Hollywood.

Ryan wanted to go out to breakfast and ride go karts for his 40th birthday. It was the first time Chase had ever driving a go kart and he kicked our butts!

There is this awesome little ghost town about an hours drive from our house. We have been here 10 years now and this is the first we've been. We loved it and will be going back.

Last Day of Elementary

Last day of school, last day of 5th grade and last day of elementary school. Yeah, I cried a little! This kid of mine amazes me. He is so smart, kind and witty. He is just growing up way to fast.

I made him take these photos leaving the school for the last time. We actually waited till most of the kids left for the day. He didn't want to make a scene. Ha!

I can't believe that my little man has completed elementary school! It's on to bigger and better next year. Two days before the end of the year the school had a graduation ceremony for the fifth grade. It was a blast!

The little man learned about poetry through out the week so his teacher decided to have a poetry cafe for the students to read the poems they created. I decorated and the teachers wife made all the treats! It was so much fun!

About a month ago my sister had to put her dog to sleep after having her for 14 years.

We began looking for a new puppy for her about two weeks later with the help of our friend Emily.

On Monday night April, 2nd Emily called us and said she found a really cute Yorkie. So the whole family got in the car and drove down to meet this 5 month old puppy. To make a long story short we ended up with a new puppy and not my sister. This is Lukin "lulu" our new 5 month old Yorkie.

Part 6 Final Post of Walt Disney World

Friday, March 16th our final day at Walt Disney World we got up early and headed to Magic Kingdom. We didn't leave the hotel for the airport until 2:00 p.m. so we wanted to squeeze in as much as possible.

We got there at 8:00 a.m. and headed to Splash Mountain. We were the only ones in line! I'm guessing it was that way because it was only 41 degrees! After the ride we headed to Cinderella's Castle for a yummy breakfast and rode The Seven Dwarf's Mining ride for our final farewell to Walt Disney World. We had a wonderful seven days in Florida at Walt Disney World full of memories we will never forget.

Fun Facts:

Magic Bands are awesome! They are your room key, park tickets, dinning plan, fast passes and payment method! These bands make your trip so easy.

Minnie Vans are awesome! We used them three times during our vacation.

It's Disney's version of Uber.

Part 5 Walt Disney World

Wednesday, March 14th we headed back to the Animal Kingdom. We had an early morning fast pass for Pandora Flight of Passage. Favorite ride of all time! It was amazing but thank goodness we had a fast pass. The line for that ride was averaging a 4 hour wait! We ate lunch at Tiffins went on Dinosaurs and Everest again then headed back to the hotel to rest. That evening we headed back to Epcot for dinner at Coral Reef. One whole wall of this restaurant is an aquarium full of tropical fish, sharks, stingrays and even a sea turtle.

(Notice I'm not in this picture, haha! Everest goes backwards in the dark. The first time I almost threw up. Yuck!) Thursday, March 15th We spent the morning back at Hollywood Studios. We ate lunch at the 50's Prime Time Diner and rode the Rock and Roll coaster. This was Chase's favorite ride. Ryan and Chase rode this ride three times over the corse of our vacation. When we got off the ride we headed back to the Magic Kingdom for some shopping and a few pictures. Dinner Thursday night was at Paddle Fish in Disney Springs.

Part 4 VIP Disney Day

Tuesday, March 13th was the best day! We had a late breakfast at Ohana at the Polynesian Resort and then headed to the Magic Kingdom around 2:00 p.m. This day was super special because we had a VIP tour guide thanks to my sister! We were picked up at our hotel and driven to a side entrance where we were given drinks, treats and scanned into the park avoiding the crowds. Tyler our tour guide took us straight to the rides where we entered through the exits or jumped to front of the fastpass lines. We could even ride twice in a row if we wanted. We ate at Be Our Guest for dinner and had VIP seating for the parade and fireworks. Only way to do Disney, I'm so spoiled now!

Part 3 of our Disney Vacation

Monday, March 12th we headed to Hollywood Studios.

We rode Aerosmith Rock and Roll coaster, Tower of Terror and watched a few shows. It rained for at least three hours but we survived. Lunch was at the Sci-Fi Drive In. One of my favorites! After three days of Disney parks we were all pretty tired so we canceled dinner at the Brown Derby and spent the evening relaxing at the hotel. We also found Trader Sam's Grotto at the Hotel! So much fun!

Part 2 Of Our Disney Vacation

Sunday, March 11th, day three of our magical Disney vacation was spent at the Animal Kingdom.

We rode thru the African Safari then on Expedition Everest and had a late breakfast at the Tusker House. Chase also bought his favorite souvenir, a banshee from Pandora.

The afternoon was warm so we headed back to the hotel for a little swimming.

Sunday nights dinner was at the California Grill which is located on the 15th floor of the Contemporary Hotel. We enjoyed a beautiful view and wonderful food. We watched the sunset over the Magic Kingdom.

Part 1 Of Our Disney Vacation

This years spring break was spent at Walt Disney World! We had a blast spending time with each other and Emily and Mya! We woke up early on Friday, March 9th and were at the airport by 5:30 a.m.

When we got to Florida it was after 5:00 p.m. so we had a relaxing dinner at the Kona Cafe and explored the hotel. We stayed at the Polynesian Resort. It was beautiful and reminded me of Hawaii.

Saturday, March 10th
The next morning we got up early and headed to Epcot where we ate at Akershus and explored the World Showcase. That night we ate dinner at Planet Hollywood in Disney Springs.

Chase competed in Daydreams and Dandelions at school this year. It is the first time he has played for anyone other than family. I wasn't able to go but Ryan said he did an awesome job. Video wasn't allowed per Chase's request so here is a video of him practicing the night before.

Intermediate School Tour

It's getting real! We had our official tour of the intermediate school! Next year the little man will be moving out of elementary school! Yikes!!! The tour started with a performance from the orchestra and choir. Then we broke down into smaller groups and toured the school. After the tour they were all smiles and thumbs up!

I actually made it to midnight!!! Haha, I haven't done that in at least three years maybe longer.

My new years resolutions for 2018 are...

1. Get up an go! I want to explore more and sit at home less. I'm starting to hate electronics specifically the iPad! They are so overrated. (Chase might not like this one.)

2. Make a difference no matter how big or small! We helped package food for families in need recently and it was awesome. Although we can't afford to donate a lot of $$$ we can sure help with something.

3. Have fun together! We have a fun adventure already planned and we are counting down the days.

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! We headed down to California for a few days to spend some time with Ryan's family then headed back home just in time for Christmas. The little man got everything he wanted which included a toaster. What 11 year old wants a toaster? Ha Ha!
