A computer is a general-purpose machine that can run a variety of programs, including programs to produce ciphers and codes of unfathomable complexity. The same concepts described earlier in the article apply to cryptography with computers, but computers are so fast that the algorithms can be much more complicated. The rise in computer use in the 1960s initiated the age of computational cryptography. Computers, when properly programmed, give users an excellent tool to encrypt messages and maintain the privacy of their communications, and computer programmers have developed many encryption algorithms. Recall that Computers function with a language of binary num- bers - 1s and 0s. A bit is one unit of information, either a 1 or 0, and computer data and instructions consist of strings of bits representing numbers or commands.

When corporations and governments began computerizing their daily operations in the 1960s, there were many types of computers and software, and few standards or common procedures existed among the different varieties. Sending encrypted messages within a company or branch of government was not a problem because everyone was using the same computers and algorithms, but sending encrypted messages to another organization presented a difficulty. Since each business or government office had its own encryption techniques and algorithms, communication between them was not possible. The recipient must have the key and how it is used - the algorithm - in order to decipher the message. Computers are fast, so encryption algorithms can be complex, but computers can also be programmed to decrypt by trying guesses, speeding up the cryptanalyst's work. People began to wonder if 56 bits was enough. This number of keys was lower than the possible ciphers of the old monoalphabetic cipher, which had been broken long ago. Customer Intelligence (CI) is the process of gathering and analyzing information regarding customers; their details and their activities, in order to build deeper and more effective customer relationships and improve strategic decision making.

Customer Intelligence is a key component of effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM) such as Salesforce or Microsoft CRM, and when effectively implemented it is a rich source of insight into the behavior and experience of a company's customer base.
Customer Intelligence begins with reference data – basic key facts about the customer and their interaction with your company and / or applications. By mining this data, and placing it in context with wider information about competitors, conditions in the industry, and general trends, information can be obtained about customers' existing and future needs, how they reach decisions, and predictions made about their future behavior.
This data is then supplemented with transactional data – reports of customer activity. This can be commercial information (for example purchase history from sales and order processing), interactions from service contacts over the phone, e-mail, web visits to tracking use of your application. A further subjective dimension can be added, in the form of customer satisfaction surveys or agent data.

Developing a strategy for building a Customer Intelligence platform

Building Customer Intelligence using DBSync
Any Customer Intelligence platform should have the following:
Define: What is that you want from the information and what you plan to do with it
Model: Define the algorithm that would best define your measures. Measures are the input parameters that you need to have to effectively score and segment your customer. A way to think about it is

Many times while defining the model we introduce measures which could enhancement and improve your model, but would be difficult to capture given the existing technology and capabilities of the organization. As part of designing CI, efforts should be made to check feasibility of implementing the model.
Capture: Capture information from your data sources. These could be either from transactional databases or your data warehouse. In general you would have the following setup:
Data extraction from applications and datasources into a data ware house
Example: Extracting web activity from your web application into a data warehouse which could have online customer tracking cookie, IP, referring source, visiting pages, time of visit, length of visit.
Aggregating and Summarizing information in data warehouse
Example: Summarizing data extracted from accounting to track payment patterns and frequency, Credit status or from CRM to look at number of opened cases in last six months.
Validate: Run your data captured and summarized to the model developed. Check if your model does provide adequate scoring and segmentation that is required to effectively make decision. A good practice is to segment your score into color codes to define levels of Customer Intelligence Level that could help you quickly say if for example a new Lead is a qualified prospect or an existing customer relationship is going sour.
Integrate with CRM: Now that you have valuable information with your model to represent your customer intelligence, you need to integrate and make it easily accessible to your Sales and Marketing team. The best way is to seamlessly integrate with your CRM application so that your marketing team can use your CRM customer or prospect database and Customer Intelligence data along with CRM inbuilt analytics to continue to track and nurture the relationship with your customer.
Value— clearly identify information of value.
Context— clearly identify the context in which the data was gathered or processed. For instance, an increase in umbrella sales may be due to an increase in local precipitation rather than a fashion trend.
Granularity of identity— clearly distinguish and associate between data instances. For example, information surrounding the attributes of customer A may not apply to customer B.
Action—The results of analytics should point to a course of action.
Use Case
At dbSync we have a comprehensive customer tracking system built in to track customer usage and satisfaction to build our Customer Intelligence.
We use salesforce.com as our CRM application. Amongst the various models that we track, one is on predicting customer renewals based on usage of our application.
Define: Track and monitor Customer use of dbSync to predict renewals and assist customers continue increase use of the application. Our goal is the have each customer at 7 or higher.
Model: Our model y = f(x1,x2,x3,x4) can be best described as
y = A value between 1 (low usage) to 10 (high usage)
x1 = Records processed in last 1 week

2. Use dbSync to execute data warehouse processes to build the data mart for summarization and aggregation.
3. Once our data warehouse is ready we use dbSync to run our Model y =f(x1,..) and populate Salesforce.com customer records.
Integration with CRM: Once information is populated in salesforce.com and Salesforce integration is completed, we have reports and dashboards for customer usage analytics. These reports are scheduled to be emailed out every week to the Sales and Management team to track and assist our customers.

HP inkjet printers are quite widely accepted in every part of this world. Known for their superb print quality and long durability, you can unhesitatingly depend upon the HP inkjet printers for your various needs and requirements. How New Version of Floppy to USB Conversion Unit Works

Installation:

Install the floppy to usb conversion unit both on the computer and the label weaving machine, through 34 pin/26 pin floppy driver interface. The interface and power plug of the unit is the same as the floppy disk driver.

NOTE:

Before the usb disk is plugged on the floppy to usb converter, the left key is [tens-digit], and the right key is [single-digit], they are used to choose the folder in usb flash disk. After the usb flash disk is plugged on the floppy to usb conversion unit, the two key are [out] and [in],(example: when you use the two key to select the 8 segment display as 23, and then after you plug the usb disk, the files in folder 023 will be stored into

built-in memory of floppy to usb conversion unit.

Input designs to the embroidery/knitting/weaving machine:

1. Copy the files from PC to the root directory (select the 8 segment as 00) or in the folder of usb disk. Select the 8 segment as 00 or `second and third of folder name, Insert usb disk to the floppy to usb conversion unit. Push the [IN] button on the right (no need for 1.44M and 720K version). The 8 segment will display as d0, Wait until it returns back as numbers. This means that 1.44MB/1.20M/720K of the files in usb flash disk has been read into the 2MB flash memory built in the floppy to usb conversion unit.

2. Operate the embroidery/knitting/weaving machine as same as operating the floppy driver, read files from the floppy to usb conversion unit.

3. If the files in usb flash disk are more than 1.44MB/1.20M/720K, push the [IN] button again. The 8 segment will display as do, Wait until it returns back as numbers. The another part of files has been read into the unit. Operate the embroidery/ knitting machine again, for these files.

Output designs to usb flash disk from embroidery/knitting/weaving machine:

1. Select the 8 segment as 00 or second and third of folder name, Insert usb disk to the floppy to usb conversion unit, wait until the 8 segment returns back as numbers, push the [OUT] button on the left. The 8 segment will display as d1.

2. Operate the embroidery/knitting machine as same as operating the floppy driver, output files to the floppy to usb conversion unit. Waiting for completion, until the green lamp right side is off.

3. Push the [OUT] button on the left again, the segment will display as d 2, wait until it returns back as numbers, then the file is stored in the usb disk.

NOTE:
1. If the capacity of total files in usb disk exceed 1.44M/1.20M/720K, they will be divided into parts of 1.44M/1.20M/720K, and will be read into built-in memory of unit one part by one, by press [IN] button again.

2. 8 segments display as 00, means files in root directory will be operated, and other number means the files in the folder will be operated, 99 folders can be created in the disk.
