Thank you all so much for all the kind emails, messages, gifts, prayers, and thoughts we have received from so many of you during this time. I had no idea I had so many other followers and readers (hello, google reader and bloglovin peeps I had no idea that were out there!) and you have all been so kind during this time of joy for our family! Now that Penelope and I have settled into things I plan to pick my blogging back up and share what we have been up to the past several weeks as well as catching up on all my favorite blogs too!

I am on a total shoe kick this month...baby gets a new pair every day or two! Some even in multiples because I know she will grow out of them so fast and I know she will be so sad when she outgrows them, (okay, I will! lol) Needless to say, Daddy is in big trouble, but I have to say, I think he really loved these!

Current favorite shoe brands? Freshly Picked Moccasins in every girly color (and size!), anything Joyfolie, Ugg booties, and Stuart Weitzman, which is who makes this precious pair of fringe boots, found here.

Baby is slowly putting Mommy's shoe collection to shame! I need to do something about that pronto! (As soon as I make sure my size doesn't change! Pregnancy does crazy things to your body!)

32 Weeks!

I can't believe I am eight months pregnant! Seriously?!

Time has flown by...but is now starting to slow down....

After being told by my OB to expect to go as early as 36 weeks, I am in full fledge panic and nest mode...yet am also starting to be exhausted and achy constantly...so not a lot is getting accomplished and it makes me nervous! The nursery is finally underway, so progress is happening, and baby will definitely have clothes! I am obsessed with buying for her! I will have to share my favorite's soon!

I hope you all have a good weekend, I have a much needed spa weekend filled with massages and brunch at the Peabody planned with my sweet hubby!

When searching for the dreaded "diaper bag" I just couldn't find anything I even halfway liked or felt like carrying around everyday...I guess I am just so not a diaper bag type of gal! I decided to broaden my horizons a bit...I mean, why couldn't it be fabulous?! I love my blue Goyard tote, and it is super versatile and easy to wear, so I decided I would go this route with Baby's bag too for this Spring and Summer! I ordered the larger GM size from the San Fran store, they were super helpful!

I wanted to pick a color that was as fun and bright as she will be, so I settled on Orange after finding the Apple & Bee Nappy Mat and Baby Cos Bag (found at Apple&Bee.com here and here)! I also LOVE the Finch print...I might have to order this print for Fall and Winter time with a Red Goyard! They are just all so, so cute! They also have some really cute boy options too!

The Itzy Ritzy Bitzy Burp Cloths and matching What Happened Wet Bags in Fresh Bloom are from my favorite baby gear boutique NessaLeeBaby (found here and here). They are the perfect match to go with the bag and are super soft! I also picked up the matching shopping cart/high chair color to bring along too when needed! Love this brand!

I'm currently in my 32nd week and am working on getting everything ordered and purchased for baby, she will be here SO soon! I can't wait, we are so excited!!

Pregnancy Must Haves...

1. Good skin care products to make you feel pretty!

La Mer "The Brightening Intense" serum (here), and Moisturizing Gel Cream (here) have both help to keep my skin calm and "glowing". Guerlain's Midnight Secret (here) is my secret weapon on those random sleepless nights that are happening now and will be happening much more in the very near future! It makes me look a lot more awake, even when I am really a walking zombie!

2. A Preggo Friendly Workout

If you follow my blog at all you know I am a huge Tracy Anderson fan. No one can kick my bottom into shape quicker. I was thrilled when I realized that her newest launch, the Tracey Anderson Pregnancy Project was being released very early into my pregnancy! I had terrible morning sickness early on, but I really feel these monthly workouts helped to pull me out of that and made me feel so much better. There are 9 DVD's, one for each month of pregnancy. Each month she changes the workout to accomodate for your growing belly and to prepare you for labor and putting yourself back together after baby. I have had amazing results so far and she has kept me lean and tone (as possible at least!) so far! I highly recommend this series! You can find it here!

3. Lotions and Potions for Growing Belly and Body

One of my biggest "vanity" fears is stretch marks. I am currently approaching the 30 weeks mark and so far I am in the clear...but I am def trying to stay ahead of this issue with multiple lotions and potions that all have amazing reviews to keep your skin to tearing to shreds. I am constantly smearing it all on 2-3 times a day...just to be sure there is still plenty of moisture on my skin!

My favorites has been from the Mustela 9 months line (I plan to use this line on baby too! It smells SO good!) and Clarins. I have always been a fan of Clarins and so far it has done an amazing job of taking care of my skin!

4. Lululemon!

Omgosh was I so excited when Memphis finally got a store! I have become a huge fan of this line of workout clothes and order online constantly. I love it for pregnancy because so far I've been able to order my normal sizes and it has just stretched along with me. I live in Lulu these days and have been popping in the store and getting orders in weekly to make me feel a little more pulled together on tired, I just want to bum it days. Loving all the fun punches of neon and minty colors for Spring!

5. Hypnobabies Coursework and Reading

I am currently preparing for a natural birth..so what better way to accomplish this by hypnotizing the pain away? I know, I know, it sounds ridiculous, but I know several ladies who have taken this course and were able to have natural births with very manageable pain levels. My OB was also really excited when I brought this up to her when I was researching natural birth methods. She had two other ladies that had recently tried it with great success, so I'm excited to be the third!

6. Baby Reading

Since this is my first pregnancy everything is new and unknown. Reading has been a great source of calm (while also not driving my friends and family up the wall with my crazy questions!) and also is a great way to pass time on my queasy all day morning sickness days...the above books are a few of my favorites and ones I think every new mommy should read!

7. Shopping for Baby

I have enjoyed nothing more so far than shopping for Baby Girl! Today's special delivery was Baby's first designer jeans! The nursery may not be finished and I may or may not have purchased the first diaper...but Baby will have a fierce wardrobe! My favorite brands are Giggle Moon, Little Giraffe, CachCach, Little Hip Squeaks, Persnickety, Haute Baby, Baby Nay, Splendid Littles, and Juicy of course...just to name a few! Baby gets more packages than I do these days! I simply can't resist any of it! The new Spring lines just came out for some of the brands above and Baby is in line for every last piece! I will have to change her 10+ times a day so she can wear it all! She will be my very own dress up doll! I can't wait! I'm also pretty obsessed with baby gear! I plan to post about some of my favorite items tomorrow so stay tuned!

As I am well into my 3rd trimester (um, how did that happen so fast?!) I thought I would post the things that have gotten me through the past 7.5 months. I would love to hear any other suggestions on the above! I am so excited baby will be here very soon! I have recently "popped" and things like strollers and cribs have began to show up at my doorstep, so everything is really becoming real! I'm hoping to catch up with you in the coming weeks leading up to baby with all the things I have been too busy to with holidays, doctor's appointments, etc. Thanks for reading and all the support, emails, and sweet baby gifts! A true White Christmas turned our home into a Winter Wonderland!

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! For the first time in ages, I was able to really soak in Christmas. We were busy with a trip to NYC and attending several Christmas events in the area, but these were all things we always wanted to do, but just never seem to have the time.

I was also very domestic (I think I am totally in the "nesting" stage of pregnancy) and did more than my fair share of baking, candy making, shopping for the perfect gifts, and wrapping them all to perfection...all while starting my 3rd trimester this week! I am still paying for all that excitement several days after the fact lol! My busy month has left me SO tired! Baby is forcing me to slow down, and it is something I need to learn to love. Speaking of...time for a much needed nap!

Thanksgiving Family Reunion 2012 - 22 weeks preggers - 1 Year Wedding Anniversary

Thanksgiving 2012 was a big year for us! We celebrated our first wedding anniversary, attended a huge family reunion, and I was 22 weeks preggers that day! We had a great day! I am starting to feel much better, which is good because we have a lot of fun things planned this month! Time is flying by so fast, hard to believe I'm almost 24 weeks! Yay!

Sorry for the bad quality pic, it was taken and sent to me from B's aunt. I was wearing a Juicy Couture Python Dress in Small (here and half price as of yesterday, score!), and Rag and Bone Classic Newbury Booties in black Leather (here). I highly recommend this dress. It is super comfy and stretchy for my growing belly (and face, the main part of my body that seems to be expanding lol)! I got so many compliments, which is exactly what a pregnant lady loves lol! The booties are also a great buy, they literally go with everything in my closet, well almost! I love them with a short dress!

GIRL!!!!!

I'm almost in my 21st week and we found out a couple of weeks ago we are having a beautiful little girl!! We are both so excited and of course I got right to shopping...and so did her Nana!! We have been obsessed the past couple of weeks with finding her the cutest looks on the planet! Stay tuned for more fun looks that are on the way! Yikes! I've made myself stop not buy anything over 9 months just to keep a handle on all the cuteness!

Her closet is getting filled up with all the looks from CachCach, HauteBaby, GiggleMoon, BabyNay, and Juicy Couture of course! Every gown or outfit must have the matching hat or headband! It has been so much fun! I'm so ready to play dress up!

So excited about my new Rag & Bone Classic Newbury Booties in Black Leather, found here. It was a hard choice picking a color and leather style, but I am very happy with what I ended up with!

Love all the subtle distressing but oh so sleek look! The heel height is also perfect for me during this time. They will look great with denim, or with tights and a great dress. Understated but beautiful on and very comfy! I got my normal size and they are perfect!

A Preggie's Best Friend: Juicy Velour. Not the most stylish look, but I live for comfort on most days lately. I love the new cuts too. I got my normal sizes and they still fit great. The hoodies are now longer which is such a plus! I love this new color, Lemon Pop in the Bling set! Similar color found here.

Love this velour color too, Royal Magenta, found here. I also picked up Royal (Navy Blue) not shown because I am wearing the set today ;-)

It's been a busy couple of weeks! We found out if we are having a boy or girl at our big ultrasound last week so my mother and I have been spoiling he/she rotten ever since! I can't wait to share what I am having with everyone soon and start showing what all I have been buying!

I have also been buying for myself! I am in the process of switching out seasons in my closet so I will try to post it all next week, I've gotten some great things that I need to share! I have been on a mission to find pieces that are my normal size that will fit me now and after baby too! I'm so excited for Fall outfits with a little baby bump!

I'm so excited to announce that I am pregnant!!!

I am due in Late Winter 2013 and we are both soooooo excited and feel so blessed!! I am currently obsessed over my little Peanut! This pic was from my 16th week, and Peanut was such a wiggle worm, but wouldn't stay still enough for them to tell Boy or Girl! It's driving me crazy, because I am ready to SHOP! We go back next week and fingers crossed we will have more news to share with everyone! I have been so overwhelmed with all the well wishes, offers to babysit, showers, etc.! This baby is already so loved!!

Sorry I've been so MIA, I have had the worst nausea and morning, noon, and night sickness and it's been a struggle just to crawl out of bed every day. All that time in bed has resulted in lots of online shopping for me to share! Stay tuned for some new Fall buys this coming week! I'm not showing yet and still in all my clothes so I haven't slowed down my shopping yet (even though I am really wanting to see a little bump soon!)

Old favorites and a couple of new things to try...

La Mer The Body Creme. The best body cream hands down.

Kate Somerville Purify Clarifying Cleanser. My favorite face wash.

Jimmy Choo Glitter Body Oil. I love this! So happy I tried this!

Kissing Elixirs Breath Mint Duo. Yummy Fresh and Fun for your handbag!

I had to make an order for my old favorite La Mer body cream and favorite facial cleanser so I added a couple of new things in the shopping cart and loved them! I love when that happens!

La Mer Body Cream is the BEST. (found here) Yes, it is expensive, but it lasts a long time and I don't don't feel right unless I'm wearing it. It moisturizes great and actually is great at healing up small cuts and razor scrapes. The smell is great too. I am a big fan of the Gel Cream for my face and several other of their products, they are all wonderful.

My other old favorite is the Kate Somerville Purity Clarifying Face Wash. I started using this a little over a year ago, and I swear I have rarely had a blemish since. (found here) It has a great clean minty smell and has a cooling effect on the skin. I need to explore more Kate Somerville products, I have simply been blown away with this face wash. Def try it out!

One of the new things I tried is so great it just got added to a beauty must have for me. When I saw the Jimmy Choo Glitter Body Oil, I knew I had to try it. (found here) I have been a fan of the scent for awhile, but just never purchased it. When I saw it came in a great bronzer body oil, I knew it would be perfect for me. I don't like a strong overwhelming perfume smell in the hot summer months, so this is perfect to build on. It is great for your arms, legs, and neck. It has the perfect shimmery glow with a hint of glitter. The smell is really rich too. Love!

The last thing I ordered was the Kissing Elixirs Breath Mint Duo. (found here) I love having cute mints in my handbag, and was just a sucker for the packaging in this buy. It tastes and smells so wonderful too! Super cute buy, would be wonderful for stocking stuffers for the upcoming holidays! It comes in a pack of 2, one for you and one for a friend! Fun!

What are your favorite beauty buys at the moment? I'm drooling over the new Fall Tom Ford colors and the new blue collection from Chanel (I was lucky enough to snag it before it all sold out!), stay tuned for reviews on both of those soon!

Look what showed up today?!

I was so happy to receive my new Proenza Schouler bag and wallet this week! It was the perfect end to my week! They are both more beautiful than I could imagine and I couldn't be happier with them! The red was a perfect choice for Fall (and Razorback games...) and the wallet is the perfect compliment to it.

I was so excited to get the Hermes Clic H Bracelet in today! I am already obsessed and want another one so it won't be lonely on my arm! I went with the Makeup Pink with gold trim color for my first one. The PM is the perfect size to pair with another. It seemed like the perfect everyday neutral to wear with any and all. I just the XS/S size and it fits great! It will be so easy just to put on black basics underneath, chunky jewels, and boots and you are out the door. It's my statement piece for Fall!

I am so thrilled about the order I placed today! I have really fallen in love with the Proenza Schouler PS1 bags. The colors are just so bright and rich, it was SO hard to decide on just one.

I ended up with the Lipstick Red in Medium, found here. I think it will be amazing for Fall. Every girl needs a red leather bag! I also HAD to have perfect match, the PS1 wallet in Printed Python, found here. It is a great deal imo! Fun and bright, it will be the perfect punch to my bag or just to use alone for quick errands!

Other colors that made the short list? Citron (here) ran a close, close race to be shipped to me, but decided I might wait and order a bigger version in this in a few months. I also love Hot Pink Suede (here), White (here), and Grape Suede (here), just to name a few...can't wait to share actual pics with you all early next week!

Splendidly Striped Summer tees...

Loving bright and bold colors with contrast!

I heart Saturdays. It's a day I can just chill, work in the yard, buy more plants for the yard, pool hang, cook bad food, spoil the pets, mani/pedi's...you know, all the stuff you just don't have time for during the week.

This Saturday should be another sunny scorcher, so I plan to squeeze in a little of all of the above! We are just a whole lot of fun over here lol!

I also like to be comfy, yet somewhat presentable to the world on Saturdays so I love these Splendid tees I picked up for Summer to help jazz up an otherwise drab tee and shorts uniform. The colors are great so you can just throw on your everyday jewelry, a cute pair of shorts, and cute flips and walk out the door feeling somewhat pulled together. Find them below!

Love this preppy chic look mixed with a neutral shoe and fun jewels to tie it all together! I live for any chance to wear my YSL Arty ring from the Saks F&F sale...it's def one of my favorite purchases from this season!

It's so hot here I just gave up on my hair today. Top knot it was. The green polo helps to make me feel more polished.

The green polo really pops on the cream/black stripes! Loving my YSL tributes in Nude Patent. They go with everything and make my legs look longer in shorts.

The necklace tied everything together nicely. It matched everything I had on! Shoes, shorts, shirt, and my other jewels!

Oh my gosh girls...it's really hot out. Like 104 freaking degrees. Like too hot to do anything other than pool hang and pray for an early Fall...and this is coming from someone that loves herself some Summer!

Needless to say, it's yet another day for shorts! I am on a stripes kick this week as you can see!

I picked up this necklace from Anthro online a couple of weeks ago and the minute I opened it, I knew it was suppose to be worn with this polo, shorts, and shoes! I am loving all their statement necklaces at the moment! Or always!

Love this little black and gold boxes...

Rose Exuberant...the perfect Summer pink

June...a light, softer twist on orange, when coral is just too bright...

Island...a perfect sheer neutral with hints of pink and bronze. Have a deep tan for this one...

Delight...LOVE, of how I LOVE this shade. It is beautiful and solid on. Lots of shimmer, looks amazing with a Summer tan!

Sable Beige Luminous Bronzing Powder from the Soleil Tan de Chanel collection

I picked the more neutral, tan shade to use it for highlighting...they also have a more pinkish darker shade as well for more heavy defining

Chanel always has the fresh Summer colors in the bag!

Gives such a gorgeous glow

My nails will never be bored...until Chanel puts out the new Fall colors in a few days anyway lol

I've had these colors for a few weeks now, but just fell in the black hole of not blogging and finding my way back to it again. Trying to get back in the swing of things this week! I have really enjoying using them all, and as soon as I try a new nail color out, it is instantly my new favorite...seriously I have a nail polish addiction!! Help!
