If you are a person who doesn't own eyeliner, or doesn't have anymore left, a temporary fix could be to use your mascara.

That's right, mascara can be used like a liquid eyeliner! All you have to do is take a small brush (preferably angled or thin) and have some mascara on the tip and apply wherever you need the eyeliner. I find it a little hard to put mascara on the waterline, so I would recommend skipping that part until you get a real eyeliner.

Different mascaras have different results!

Use a waterproof mascara so it won't smudge as much
Take the eyeliner brush and collect mascara from the mascara wand
Avoid mascaras that crumble when you rub them

Hey guys! I'm back with a Zenni Optical review. Zenni Optical is an online store that sells prescription(or non prescription) eyeglasses or sunglasses. I thought it was about time to get some new glasses myself, so I made a purchase.

The glasses I got were metal aviators for $6.95, and they don't feel any different than expensive glasses you would get at stores like Costco, Pearle Vision, Fred Meyer. etc. If anything they are a little better. It's so much cheaper (and better) than buying from any other store.
The glasses are manufactured in China and then shipped to California where they are then, shipped to you.
The shipping time should take 2 weeks or less if you live on the West Coast, but don't expect it to be that quick if you live on the East.

What it looks like; A sheer white that needs 3 coats to cover your nail.

Is it streaky?; I can't say it isn't streaky at all, but it is a little.

Hello beautiful people(: I am back and I hope to be blogging at a normal pace now! anyways..

If anyone knows me, I am such a cat lover. So whats better to show my love for cats than to put them on my nails? Cats are awesome so why not?

The thumb nail looks similar to the pinkie nail if anyone was curious.

Want to know how to do them? Sadly I don't have step to step pictures, but I can try my best to explain.

1) Apply a base-coat and apply a white base-color.

2) Pick out 2 different shades of pink and take a makeup sponge. Then dab the lighter shade of pink onto the sponge. Apply it onto the top part of your nail, and stop once you get to the middle.

3) On a different part of your sponge, take the darker shade of pink and dab it onto the lower part of your nail. This effect is called an "ombre".

4) Make nail stickers for the cat. Currently I don't have a tutorial, but there are several ways to learn how online. I made the nail sticker for the "I" also, but you can simply brush the white on for an I using a striper.

5) To make the cat, drop 1 drop of white onto a plastic sandwich bag, then take a needle/toothpick and make an oval. If your nail polish isn't dried yet, drag up the nail polish to make an ear on each side of the oval, you should get two ears. I dabbed more white polish onto my toothpick and added it to each ear since my polish dried.

6) Take a black polish and dab some onto the pick, then poke it into the white cat you just made, for their eyes.

7) After your stickers are dry, peel them off and apply some more polish to the bottom, then apply to your nail! For the pinkie and middle finger, I used nail art beads and gems I bought from the dollar tree. The back design is a konad plate M72.

Jordana Pop Nail Art!

I got these at Cost Cutter. They cost around $1.00-1.25. Jordana overall is a very very good brand for nail polish with how much the price is. These nail polishes have a striper brush with is used to make fine designs and lines. They are very similar to LA colors Art Deco polishes, but I find that Jordana has a more fine brush than LA Colors. Now onto the polishes :)

Modern Art is a mix of a Hot Pink and a Light red. It is very nice for creating flowers because of the fine tip. It is a straight color(No shimmer, ect) and it dries Matte.

Golden Artist is a glitter. One that is similar to this particular polish is LA Colors Art Deco "Gold Glitter" I prefer wearing this on dark colors as it "pops" out more in color. There is nothing really special about it, just a normal gold glitter.. :(

Star Designer is a normal silver glitter just like the one about. It also has a dupe, LA Colors Art Deco "Silver Glitter". Same as above, it pops out more on darker colors and there is still nothing very unique about it -_-

The Painter is ANOTHER glitter (3/4 of these polishes are :P)in pink. I don't know always see much pink glitters around here. Good on black glitter.

Overall, as you saw the glitters were mostly all the same except for the colors. If you can't locate these specific ones, then you can go to the dollar store and try to find the LA Colors Art Deco for similar ones!

Hello reader! If you are interested in (possible) a new way to do nail art, keep reading! I have just made a water marbling nail tutorial on my YouTube channel. It is my first video on this channel of a tutorial! I hope you get to check it out! The results for water marble look really nice in my opinion. Water marble is basically when you put nail polish and drop it onto the surface of water with two or more colors. Then you can drag it with a needle or anything that has a fine point for a design! Haul 88 Matte Eyeshadows and Concealear Pallette Ebay

Hi ladies, I wanted to try out these concealer and 88 matte eyeshadow palette. I bought these guys from ebay. Very pigmented colors, I have the shimmery palette as well but prefer this one for eyes because they look better in flash photography. I have my own shimmers to use when I need to. The concealer works well but my skin is very dry so it flakes easily. But these concealers are very pigmented. Not very creamy.

Trying to do Doraemon Nail

That's right! I said "nail" As in one nail. My nail broke a couple days ago and I don't know if I should cut the other ones too! But its just so short.. So I decided to do doraemon on my one short nail, I got inspired by a doraemon plush I have in my bedroom and started drawing it on my nail because there was miraculously a nail art brush and a small sized dotting tool just happening to sit there in front of me.. This is such a great design because it works for short nails too! I wish I could make a video tutorial, but sadly the camera I have doesn't store memory and if I try to make a video, I will have to keep pressing the record button every 20 seconds. I'm also not willing to buy a memory stick (its a super duper old camcorder)

Anywho, how are you? are you swell? are you hungry? I'm hungry :I And would you like to see a picture tutorial rather then nothing of Doraemon?

Color Club Scented Nail Polishes

Hello, once again! I'm back, and I brought smelly nail polishes!! Yayy! These smell absolutely delish -> Okay lets start out with "Wicked Sweet" Yumm, this smells like...(Blueberry maybe?) I have no clue haha, something sweet. :I This is a sheer with some green shimmers(Camera didn't pick it up) thrown in, so you might have to put 2-4 coats on, the more the smellier! But its super duper pretty, it kind of reminds me of mermaids or something oceanic.

"A Grape Big Kiss" Yum, its in the name, I like sweet grapes, it smells like em, definitely. This doesn't have any shimmers in it, but its not pigmented :( so once again 2-3 coats. This is a Mediumish purple... Just a normal purple..

"Raspberry Rush" is also a straight color, alike from "A Grape big Kiss" and also not pigmented (alike from "A Grape Big Kiss"... So I give this 2-3 coats.

The color is kind of like a fuchsia and a little bit of a hot pink.

"Yum Gum!" Smells like bubble gum too! I think this is the only one that is more of the opaque ones, I put only 1-2 coats and it was fine ^_^. The color is a baby pink or just a bubble gum pink, you choose. Straight color, no shimmers.

" I Always Get My Man-darin "

Back to the green shimmers now! But also back to the unpigmented kinds, grr. Smells like mandarin. If you think you wanna put one coat of this on you're naked colored nails, it might make them look yellow. So please put 2-3 coats of this on unless you have an opaque black or white or whatever on first. The color is a light orange with light green shimmers.

"Get your lem-on" We're keeping the green shimmers with this one, too bad you can't see it.

Once again you need 2-4 coats to get it exceptionally opaque, doesn't look as bright as a lemon peel, and it doesn't look THAT yellow, a little more green. This is also Neon

"The Lime Starts Here" I'm just tellin' you that in this line of nail polish, there is only one polish that is pigmented which is "Yum Gum", so go with 2-4 coats with this one to get it opaque(unless you don't like it opaque then thats your choice, fine with me)

Straight color, no shimmers. You can just guess what is smells like, It looks like a neon green if you put 4 coats on.

PROS: The brand works good, I like how its not streaky. AND how it smells great, keep away from fruit lovers! You might lose some fingers!

CONS: About the line, the pigment isn't that great.

Dollar tree haul! Sally Hansen Golden Tourmaline Nail prism(discontinued holographic) and LA colors Electrified

Hello There, your just in time for NAIL POLISH TIME! YEAHH.

Okay back to the topic :)

I bought this at the dollar tree where alot of discontinued products get thrown there, if you are there enough, you can find some pretty good stuff! Golden Tourmaline came in a two pack with another Sally Hansen polish, so it was technically .50 cents :P Its a Coral holographic polish as you can see, works just as well as any other Sally Hansen polish, but isn't as strong as other holographic polishes. One coat worked well for me.

Now too LA colors Electrified. I love this nail polish, I have one coat on and it dries fast to a foil ish look. It just pops out really nicely! :) Only good things come out of this bottle, it was 1 dollar.

Maybeline Nail polish

I am thinking of posting nail polishes I got once or twice each week, but I don't know which ones to swatch first. So I'm showing all of you first, then you can tell me which ones I should swatch first, I believe I have Sally hansen, NYC, Pro 10 nail care, LA colors, etc. Once I start on the swatches, I'll add the links to these posts. Anyway, moving on!

Desert plum creme- This is a pale pink my camera didn't pick up, its not really this orange. This is nice for a neutral color type of wear, its pigmented and stuff.. Not much to say about this one. Haven't had much experience with any of them until I have to swatch them.

Silver Sand- Omg I love this color! If you put it on, if you look REAL closely you can see little holographic glitters! Sadly, people probably won't be looking at your nail that close. This nail polish is a little bit sheer shimmer, I wouldn't wear this everyday though. You can decide on how many coats you have. Its actually not completely brown, if you look at it while the light is shining on it, you can see silverish color. The color in the shade it brown/gold.

Devon Rose Creme- This is a hot pink, its also pigmented, needs one coat, so does the first one at the very top ^Don't have much to say about this one either.. The only reason is that I bought these in a 2 pack at the dollar tree, I only bought them because of the other nail polish in the pack, but i'm sure these will somehow come to use..

Sheer Pink- I have got to say, I am really into sheer polishes, when you have old looking nails, you put this on and it creates the illusion of you having a brighter healthier nail! Not pigmented, if you put on like 4 coats, you get the fake nail look, if you put on 1 coat then it looks more normal. I wouldn't agree with the pink, because thats one of the complete opposites of what color I would think it was.

NOTE-- When applying nail polish, to me is seems faster painting the nail polish by 1 lair, then waiting, then the next lair. If you go too fast it creates a thick uneven finish.

Jordana Nail Polishes

So I actually bought these polishes a couple months ago and never got to make a blog post about them.
Lemme just say that Jordana polishes are one of the best cheap brands of nail polish EVER! I get mine for $1 at cost cutters. Okay, so movin' on
Smooth Blue : This polish requires 1-2 coats, not the most pigmented, but still really really great. Its really just a normal blue, nice for Spring and Summer though!
Sweet Orange : Is a nice subtle orange also awesome to wear for spring and summer, requires 1-2 coats.
Silver : Is not a pigmented color, you need quite some coats to achieve the look in the bottle, I would recommend using it when your not in the mood for a straight color, its a bit see through if you put 1 coat.
The Artist : Is a beautiful glitter polish with holographic particles in it, it is confused with its cousin (also from the same brand) The designer. The designer has slightly bigger particles. If you are to wear this as a full nail polish (putting it on your whole nail) then I suggest you put a black of some sort first, then you can put one coat of "The Artist".
Silver Glitter Is just a normal glitter, when you put it on it doesn't seem like the glitter is everywhere, is seems like 60% of the polish is clear polish.. But it is nice for adding a little sparkle to red polishes or french tips (in my opinion)

Tips when your buffing your nails.

I remember when I first used a nail buffer, it went all the wrong way... So here are some tips for when you buff your nails! Nail buffers usually come in 2/3 steps, or at most 8 steps. The main three are to remove ridges, smooth the nail, and to shine the nail. I don't always mind it having the shine, because I put nail polish on after, but its nice to have..

When you get a buffer that has 7-8 steps, don't use the first steps to buff your nail bed, use it to shape. Those are too rough for your nail beds. And then use 3-4 to buff your nail beds and so on.
When you see dust, stop and move on to the next step, you do NOT want to buff it so much that it thins your nail paper thin (trust me, I made this mistake ): ) and when you get to the part where you are smoothing/shining it, you can stop when you see the results.
Blow or brush the dust away before moving onto the next step. (unless there is no dust)
Buff your nails every month to get the ridges/splits off.

BENEFITS

If you have yellow stained nails from not putting a basecoat before putting your nail color on, you can buff it off since its on the surface of the nail.
While you're buffing, it sort of massages your nail bed, this encourages nail growth!
You should end up with a really smooth finish, your nail polish should be easier to put on too! It should glide on the nail more easier.

This is a really pretty nail polish, I like it because of all the color it holds in the glitter! I haven't experienced any chipping yet, so far its been day 2, haha.

Hello! So I recently got this hello kitty nail art plate from bornprettystore.com from a promotion they were holding, let me just tell you now that they have SO MANY promotions! Onto the plate. The plate is a GREAT replacement for konad plates, and konad plates are soo much more money! Konad: aprox $6 Bornprettystore: Aprox $2 . The plate is really good, but I was soo confused when I first got it. The plates have a plastic cover that is transparent and you have to take it off before using or else it won't work right. If you didn't buy the stamper and scraper, and you don't want to, then you can use an old gift card to scrape it. As for to stamp it, this takes a bunch of steps, 1. go to somewhere cheap and buy a cheap stamper you don't mind ruining (dollartree) that has the rubbery texture. 2. after you've done that, cut off the design so that its almost flat. 3. try and peel the stamper off of the handle its on and you should see a flat side you're going to use for stamping, if it has glue on it, clean it. 3. now if your stamping handle or whatever is too big (if its small and circular and it fits on your nail then skip this step and glue the rubber thing back on but make sure the flat side is out.) then draw a circle that is small enough for your nail but big enough for the design. 4. Cut the circle and glue/ put putty on something it fits on as the new handle for your stamper. 5. STAMP!! Also normal nail polish can be used for this, using thick and pigmented polishes are the best.
