It’s inevitable – with winter colds comes the dreaded snot. In the past, I’d instinctively reach for the traditional bulb aspirator whenever I saw it building up, but it was always a struggle. The bulb never seemed to get much mucus out, and I was constantly worried about causing more harm than good by pushing it too far into my baby’s nose. The strong bursts of suction from these bulbs can even irritate the nasal lining, sometimes causing swelling and making it harder for the baby to breathe. And don’t get me started on how impossible they are to clean…

Enter the NoseFrida

Thankfully, there’s a much better alternative to the traditional bulb aspirator: the NoseFrida. This device works using a hose system that allows you to control the suction, and the best part is that it doesn’t need to be inserted directly into your baby’s nasal passage. This eliminates the risk of hurting those delicate membranes.

Now, if you’re wondering whether this means you’re at risk of sucking snot into your mouth—don’t worry! The NoseFrida comes with a filter that ensures no mucus gets through. So you can safely and comfortably clear your baby’s nose without any unpleasant surprises.

The effectiveness of the NoseFrida is remarkable. It clears out more mucus than I thought possible. Initially, I found it a little challenging to create strong enough suction, but with a bit of practice, I got better at it. For really stubborn, thick mucus, I recommend using a little saline spray beforehand to help loosen it up.

Battery-Operated Options: The Next Step in Convenience

If you’re looking for a more hands-off approach, the NoseFrida now comes in a battery-operated version. This updated model provides consistent, gentle suction at the push of a button, eliminating the need to manually create suction with your mouth. The Frida Baby Electric NoseFrida even allows you to adjust the suction strength based on how congested your baby is, making it ideal for parents who want a quick, easy solution.

I found an excellent review of the electric NoseFrida on TLC’s “Stuff We Love”, where they called it a game-changer for parents dealing with baby colds. The electric model delivers powerful yet gentle suction and features an easy-to-clean design, just like the original. It offers the same benefits of the manual version, but with added convenience for busy parents who want to clear their baby’s nose with minimal effort. The review also highlighted its ease of use and how much more mucus it can remove compared to other options on the market.

In addition to the electric NoseFrida, there are other battery-operated nasal aspirators that are worth considering. These devices are popular because they’re so easy to use—just press a button, and they do the work for you. Many models feature adjustable suction levels, allowing you to customize the strength to suit your baby’s needs. Some even come with features like soothing music or lights to distract your baby during the process.

Easy to Clean and Hygienic

One of the best things about both the manual and electric NoseFrida models is how easy they are to clean. The device comes apart, and all parts can be rinsed with warm water. Unlike traditional bulb aspirators, which can be a breeding ground for bacteria, the NoseFrida is easy to sanitize. While replacement filters are available, the filter can be rinsed and reused multiple times before needing to be replaced.

Since switching to the NoseFrida, we’ve been able to prevent minor colds from becoming more serious infections by effectively clearing out mucus before it has the chance to settle in the chest. Plus, it’s made from safe materials, including #5 polypropylene plastic, which is free from BPA, PVC, and phthalates.

Final Thoughts

Whether you choose the manual NoseFrida, the new battery-operated version, or another battery-powered nasal aspirator, there’s no need to struggle with old-school bulb aspirators anymore. These modern alternatives provide safe, effective ways to help your baby breathe easier, reducing the risk of colds turning into more serious respiratory issues.

With these updated tools in your parenting toolkit, you can help your baby stay more comfortable and recover faster during cold season. Say goodbye to the frustrating, outdated bulb aspirators, and opt for a solution that works best for your family.

Originally published in 2011 by Melissa Moog, updated in 2024

It’s amazing to see how far cloth diapering has come! Gone are the days of pins and heavy cotton — today’s options are chic, user-friendly, and better for both baby and the planet. With #GrandbabyDueInMay, I’m jumping back into this world, and it feels like an entirely new experience compared to when my own children were in diapers!

You now have choices ranging from hybrid systems to all-in-ones (AIOs), and even pocket diapers that give you flexibility. No matter your parenting style, cloth diapering offers something for everyone — whether you’re looking for eco-friendliness or simply adorable designs.

Let’s talk about some modern options and services that can help make cloth diapering even easier.

Cloth Diaper Options

While there are a wide variety of brands, here are some current favorites that many parents are loving:

1. Hybrid Diapers

GroVia Hybrid System is a great choice for families who want flexibility. You can choose between reusable cloth inserts or biodegradable disposables, depending on the situation. This versatility makes it perfect for those who want to ease into cloth diapering without fully committing【36†source】【37†source】.

2. All-in-One (AIO) Diapers

If you’re looking for simplicity, BumGenius Freetime is a trusted favorite. This one-size-fits-all diaper offers adjustable snaps and comes with built-in absorbency — perfect for busy parents.

For a more natural option, Thirsties Natural AIO is known for its chemical-free, organic cotton material. This is great for parents who prioritize eco-friendly and baby-safe products.

3. Pocket Diapers

Want more control over absorbency? Rumparooz pocket diapers offer customizable absorbency with the option to add inserts. The adjustable fit also ensures it grows with your baby.

4. Wrap Diapers

Used over a cloth insert or fitted diaper, wraps provide a waterproof barrier. Thirsties Duo Wrap is a top pick thanks to its snug fit and effectiveness at preventing leaks. It pairs beautifully with prefolds or fitted diapers.

What About Diaper Services?

For those not ready to tackle washing diapers, diaper services are a lifesaver. They provide clean, sanitized diapers each week and take away the soiled ones for washing. Many services offer organic cotton options and use eco-friendly detergents. These services let you enjoy the benefits of cloth without the hassle of cleaning.

If you’re lucky enough to be in an area that offers a service like Tidee Didee or Baby Diaper Service (available in various cities), it’s definitely worth looking into. These services ensure you have a constant supply of fresh diapers, allowing you to focus on bonding with your baby rather than laundry.

Eco-Friendly Alternatives

If cloth isn’t your thing, but you still want to be environmentally conscious, eco-friendly disposable diapers are another option. Brands like Seventh Generation and Broody Chick Diapers offer biodegradable, chemical-free diapers that are gentle on baby’s skin and better for the environment.

Updated Diapering Facts

The environmental and financial impacts of disposable diapers are still staggering:

27.4 billion diapers are used annually in the U.S., with each taking 500 years to decompose. link

Families can spend $2,500–$3,000 on disposables for one child, while cloth diapering remains significantly more affordable at around $500-$600.

Cloth diapers are free from harmful chemicals like dioxins and phthalates, but they are still in many disposable brands. link

If you’re new to cloth diapering or just looking for fresh ideas, consider trying a sampler kit or checking out Green Diaper Store to explore the variety of brands available.

By embracing cloth or eco-friendly diapering options, you’re not only saving money but also helping reduce the enormous environmental impact of disposables. Whether you go all-in on cloth or mix and match, every little bit helps!

Stay tuned for my recommended local and online stores where you can find all your cloth diapering essentials.

By Erica Matteson

In the early months, I noticed my baby’s poop occasionally shifting from its usual yellow-brown color to a strange green and frothy texture. It seemed to come and go, and I couldn’t pinpoint the reason. Naturally, I started to worry—could it be an infection? So, I began exploring all the possible causes.

Turns out, there are quite a few reasons why baby poop can turn green, including:

Jaundice (in the first few days of life)

Food sensitivities from the parent’s diet (usually with mucousy or bloody stools, excessive spitting up)

Lactose overload – also referred to as foremilk/hindmilk imbalance (often causing frothy, watery stools)

Intestinal virus (usually causing mucousy stools)

Parent’s medications

After some observation, I realized my baby seemed perfectly healthy and was gaining weight well. So, I ruled out many of the more concerning causes and landed on what seemed to be the issue, lactose overload.

What is lactose overload?

Lactose overload – also referred to as foremilk/hindmilk imbalance, can occur when a baby consumes more foremilk, which is higher in lactose and lower in fat, than hindmilk, which is richer in fat and calories. This imbalance can lead to symptoms like green, frothy stools, gassiness, frequent stools, and fussiness during feedings.

The best way to address this issue is by ensuring that the baby fully empties one breast before switching to the other. Hindmilk, essential for digestion and satiety, comes later in the feeding session and helps slow down the digestive process, reducing discomfort from lactose.

It’s important to monitor your baby’s feeding patterns and work closely with a lactation consultant if you have concerns about oversupply or your baby’s feeding efficiency. Adjusting breastfeeding positions, such as using a laid-back posture, can also help with managing a fast let-down, making it easier for the baby to nurse comfortably.

So How Do You Fix It?

The fix is pretty straightforward: nurse longer on one side. Letting your baby stay on one breast longer ensures they get through the foremilk and start receiving the higher-fat hindmilk, which is more filling and easier to digest. Lactation consultant Janet Vandenburg also suggests using the “block feeding” technique—this involves letting the baby stay on the first breast until they either fall asleep or let go on their own .

I tried this by keeping my baby on one breast for a full feeding, then switching sides for the next feeding. Yes, there was some discomfort from engorgement, but pumping for comfort helped with the pressure while we established this routine. After a couple of days, the green poop disappeared, and things returned to normal.

A Few Tips for Anyone Going Through This:

Be patient: It may take a little time for your baby to adjust, and for you, too. Pumping can help ease engorgement.

Stick with it: It gets easier once you get into a rhythm. Consistency is key.

Consult a healthcare provider: If the green stools persist for more than 24 hours after you’ve made these changes, it’s a good idea to check in with your doctor. There could be another cause.

I’m glad I was able to figure this out before worrying too much. While green poop can be startling, sometimes the solution is as simple as tweaking your feeding routine. Keep calm, and keep going!

So, you’ve been planning and preparing for labor for months! You’ve been eating right, taking childbirth classes, reading all the books and blogs, and receiving “helpful” advice from everyone you know (and probably some people you don’t!). Even the grocery store cashier notices that you’re still pregnant. While you’ve likely covered all your bases, have you considered how to encourage your baby to settle into the best position for labor? Optimal fetal positioning can make labor smoother, shorter, and more comfortable. Here are some great movements and techniques to help:

Forward-Leaning Inversions

This movement is excellent for stretching the uterine ligaments and creating space for the baby to reposition. To do this:

Kneel on the edge of a couch or bed, with your hands on the floor.

Lower your head and chest gently, keeping your hips elevated.

Stay in this position for about 30 seconds before returning to upright. This helps give the baby room to rotate if needed.

Sidelying Release

This gentle stretch helps relax the pelvic muscles and ligaments, creating more space for baby to descend. Lie on one side with the top leg bent at a 90-degree angle over a chair or pillow, while the bottom leg stays straight. Hold this position for a few minutes and then switch sides.

Pelvic Tilts (Cat/Cow Stretch)

This is a simple but effective way to encourage your baby into the anterior position:

Start on all fours, hands under shoulders, knees under hips.

Arch your back (Cat Pose), then lower your belly, lifting your head and tailbone (Cow Pose).

Repeat for 10–15 reps. This helps align your baby and is great for relieving lower back tension.

Walking and Swaying

Regular walking helps your baby descend into the pelvis, using gravity to encourage optimal positioning. Gentle swaying movements, like a figure-eight motion while standing or sitting on a birthing ball, also help open up the pelvis and encourage baby to engage.

Lunges

Lunges open the pelvis, giving your baby more space to move into position:

Step one foot forward, bending both knees into a lunge.

Hold for 20–30 seconds, then switch legs. This helps make room for baby to rotate into a better birthing position.

Open-Knee-Chest Position

This position can help a baby rotate from a less optimal (such as posterior) position:

Get on your hands and knees, but lower your chest towards the floor while keeping your hips elevated.

Hold this position for 20–30 minutes to allow gravity to help the baby turn.

Rebozo Sifting

Using a rebozo (a long cloth), a partner can help gently rock your belly while you’re on all fours. This technique helps loosen tight ligaments and allows the baby to move into a better position. It also promotes relaxation in the later stages of pregnancy. More information on the history of Rebozo

Pelvic Rocks on a Birthing Ball

Sitting on a birthing ball and gently rocking back and forth or doing pelvic tilts can help create space for the baby to move lower into the pelvis. This also helps alleviate lower back pressure and encourages engagement.

Walking Up Stairs

Climbing stairs can help the baby move lower into the pelvis as you engage your hips. Take each step slowly and intentionally, lifting each leg high to activate key pelvic muscles.

Incorporating these movements into your daily routine can significantly improve fetal positioning. Always listen to your body and adjust exercises as needed. If unsure about these techniques, consult your midwife, doula, or healthcare provider for personalized guidance. Happy positioning!

The post Better Baby Position For An Easier Birth first appeared on ItsaBelly Doulas.

By Erica Matteson

In this economy, it can be tough to go fully organic when you’re on a budget. Like many of us, I want to make sure my family is getting the healthiest and most natural foods possible—especially when making baby food at home. But with so much produce covered in pesticides, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. The good news? You don’t have to buy everything organic! Focusing on certain items can make a big difference without breaking the bank, and that’s where the Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen lists from the Environmental Working Group (EWG) come in handy.

If you haven’t heard of these lists, they’re a game-changer. The Dirty Dozen includes the fruits and veggies that tend to have the highest pesticide residues, while the Clean Fifteen highlights those with the lowest levels. Knowing this helps you make informed choices about where to spend your money on organic produce.

For example, I steer clear of non-organic bell peppers, green beans, and cherries—all of which are on the Dirty Dozen list this year. These tend to have higher pesticide residues, so I prefer to get the organic versions when possible. But, I feel comfortable buying conventionally grown items on the Clean Fifteen, like asparagus and sweet potatoes. These items are much lower in pesticides, making them easier on your health and wallet.

One of my favorite aspects of these lists is how simple they make grocery shopping. You don’t have to go overboard trying to make everything in your cart organic. Knowing which items are safest to buy conventionally and which should be prioritized as organic, you can save money and still feel good about what you’re feeding your family.

But here’s the thing: Even if you can’t buy organic every time, there are still things you can do to minimize exposure to pesticides. Make sure to wash your produce thoroughly. Since many pesticides are oil-based (so they don’t wash off in the rain), you might want to use a bit of soap or a special produce wash. However, be mindful that peeling produce, while it helps reduce pesticide exposure, can also strip away important nutrients found in the skin. So washing well and being thoughtful about what you peel is key.

Also, eating a variety of fruits and veggies is important. Not only does it help ensure your family gets a wide range of nutrients, but it also reduces the chances of overexposure to any one pesticide.

The EWG updates these lists annually based on new research, so it’s always a good idea to check the latest version. For those interested in diving deeper into this year’s Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen, you can find all the details on the EWG’s website. It’s such a helpful resource for anyone trying to eat healthier on a budget.

Ultimately, shopping smarter and choosing organic when it really counts can help you and your family enjoy fresh, healthy food without all the worry (and without spending a fortune!). So next time you head to the store, keep these tips in mind. Happy shopping and healthy eating!

Welcoming a baby into your home is an exciting and joyous experience. As parents, one of your top priorities is to create a safe environment for your little one. If your home has stairs, baby-proofing them becomes a crucial task. Stairs can pose potential hazards, but with the right precautions, you can ensure your baby’s safety. In this article, we’ll explore essential tips on baby-proofing stairs to provide a secure environment for your child.

1. How to Baby-Proof a House with Stairs:

Baby-proofing your house is an essential step to prevent accidents and injuries. When it comes to stairs, here are some essential measures to consider:

a. Install Baby Gates: The most common and effective way to baby-proof stairs is by installing baby gates. Place gates at the top and bottom of the staircase to block your baby’s access. Look for sturdy, hardware-mounted gates that cannot be easily dislodged by a curious toddler.

b. Cover Open Risers: If your stairs have open risers, consider covering them to prevent little feet from getting caught. There are various safety products available, like clear acrylic panels or mesh, that can be installed to close the gaps.

c. Secure Railings: Ensure that stair railings are secure and free from any gaps that a baby could slip through. Regularly check for loose or wobbly balusters and tighten them as needed.

d. Remove Tripping Hazards: Keep the staircase area clear of any tripping hazards, such as toys, shoes, or clutter. A clear path will reduce the risk of falls while carrying your baby up or down the stairs.

2. Alternatives to Baby Gates for Stairs:

While baby gates are widely used for baby-proofing stairs, some homeowners might prefer alternatives. Here are a few options:

a. Fabric Baby Gates: Fabric gates are a great alternative to traditional plastic or metal gates. They are lightweight, portable, and can be easily removed when not needed. However, ensure that the fabric gate you choose is strong and securely anchored.

b. Retractable Baby Gates: Retractable gates are a space-saving option and are ideal for areas with limited space. They operate like a roller blind and can be easily pulled across the stairway when required.

c. Door Barricades: If you have a door at the bottom or top of the stairs, consider using a door barricade to prevent your baby from accessing the stairs unsupervised. These barricades are designed to withstand the pushing and pulling of a curious toddler.

3. Necessity of Baby Gates at the Bottom of Stairs:

Installing a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs is essential for your baby’s safety. It helps restrict their access to the stairs, reducing the risk of accidental falls. Even if your baby is not yet crawling or walking, it’s crucial to have the gate in place as they can move quickly and unexpectedly.

4. Safety of Baby Gates at the Top of Stairs:

While baby gates are necessary at the bottom of the stairs, their installation at the top requires extra attention. Always opt for hardware-mounted gates at the top of the stairs, as pressure-mounted gates might not provide sufficient stability. Hardware-mounted gates are securely bolted to the walls, making them the safest choice for the top of the stairs.

Baby-proofing stairs is a vital aspect of creating a safe home environment for your little one. Installing baby gates, securing railings, and keeping the staircase clear of hazards are essential steps to prevent accidents. Always choose sturdy and reliable baby-proofing products to ensure your baby’s safety. By taking these precautions, you can let your little explorer roam freely in a secure and protected space.

Remember, constant supervision is still crucial, even with all the baby-proofing measures in place. Keeping your home safe will give you peace of mind and allow your baby to explore and develop in a secure environment.

Hey there! Melissa Wright here from ItsaBelly, and I’m excited to share some cool tips to keep your little one(s) safe and comfortable during those hot summer days. Bringing home a new baby is such a joy, but when you add a heatwave to the mix, it can definitely get a bit overwhelming. But fret not! We’ve got you covered with some easy ways to beat the heat and keep your baby comfortable.

First things first, when it’s scorching outside, it’s best to stay indoors and create a cool haven for everyone but especially your baby. They can’t handle the heat like we adults do. Their tiny bodies have a harder time regulating temperature, making them more prone to heat rash and discomfort. So, playing it super safe, keep them cool and cozy inside.

Now, who wants to stay inside all the time!! If you venture out for a little sunshine and fresh air, make sure your baby is dressed in light and loose clothing. Staying in the shade is a smart move too, as it protects their delicate skin from the sun’s rays. Don’t forget to pop a sunhat with a big brim to shade their face and neck.

Hydration is key during these warm days. For babies under 6 months, breast/chest milk or formula is all they need. As for older babies, you can introduce small sips of water to their diet. Make sure they’re getting enough fluids to stay hydrated.

Keep an eye out for signs of dehydration, like extreme thirst, low energy, or fewer wet diapers. If you notice anything unusual, don’t hesitate to reach out to your pediatrician for guidance.

If your little one starts feeling too hot, it’s time to bring them indoors and let them chill out. You can even give them a nice tepid bath to help them cool down. No need to limit it – the more baths, the merrier!

Here’s a bonus tip: Having a fan or air conditioning in the baby’s room can be a total game-changer. But remember, keep it away from directly blowing on them to avoid discomfort.

Oh, and did you know that sunscreen isn’t recommended for babies under 6 months? Their delicate skin needs a bit of extra care. Lightweight loose clothing is best for very young babies. So, go ahead and enjoy your summer with your adorable little one(s). And remember, if you ever need more information or have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. Stay cool, stay safe, and have a wonderful time making precious memories with your baby during this sunny season!

The Christmas season is upon us, and regardless of your traditions, spiritual path or chosen holidays, it is inescapable. For many of us, regardless of the holidays we celebrate, in can be a challenging time. If you have a new baby, or are a tired parent of young children, there is a mix of the joy that children bring and the exhaustion of trying to do it all, or trying to do even some of it! The days are getting shorter, and it’s raining not snowing. Starting new traditions with a young family is exciting, but can feel awkward and lonely until they actually are traditions. It may be harder to travel to be with extended family, and more tiring when you are together. Newborns can have a hard time getting into the holiday spirit, and remembering that Santa visits when they are sleeping. It’s harder to grocery shop, let alone Christmas shop, even with online help.

We are encouraged to be overflowing with our gift giving, but one of you is on unpaid leave and money is tight. And maybe this isn’t even your holiday. What’s an overwhelmed parent to do?

I grew up in a family with an Advent tradition. Advent, as part of the church year, was a time of preparation. At home, we had an advent wreath and lit one candle for each of the four weeks preceding Christmas. As a child, I remember the anticipation of the approaching holiday. As an adult, a quieter time before the celebrations took on new meaning.

For me, connecting with the natural cycles of the earth was a turning point, no pun intended. The tired Earth is putting herself to bed, life hiding beneath the surface as seed and hibernation. Finding ways to travel on an inward journey during this time brought back meaning and balance. For years I made an Advent wreath, which took an hour or two and always dried out. Now, I gather some greens and put them on a tray. I add some candles and some pine cones. If you have young children, a walk around the yard can find objects to add. Once a day, I find a time, maybe 5 minutes alone, or maybe at dinner, to light a candle, adding one each week. In my moments alone I take just a little time to reflect on where I am in my life, what’s important, and what I’m grateful for.

Children can enjoy the candles with a story or dinner. As we head towards the solstice the days are still shortening, but my candles remind me that the light will return again.

We all have challenges and sometimes dark times, but there is much light to be found. In the busyness that surrounds us, crafting one simple moment of the day can help us slow down and find ways to keep it all simple. No matter how you participate in the celebrations at this time of year, we can connect with others through a celebration of light.

The post The Inner Journey of Advent first appeared on ItsaBelly Doulas.

Now they are experiencing movement in a new way and are often at the mercy of their reflexes. They need us to make sense of the world for them and to help moderate all their new experiences. So hold your baby, and touch her. Your babies’ favorite place is in your arms or on your chest, and your touch will reassure and calm her.

Even though new babies sleep a lot, when they have those brief awake and alert moments, they are programmed to look for your face. In the early days they may not seem to be looking at you, but we give them the opportunity to find us by making eye contact with them. As babies get older and more responsive, then that eye contact turns into “talking” with those smiles and coos and delight at looking at us. As you smile back they continue to respond, and start to know they are connected to you in a new way, and loved.

Our babies also connect to us through our voice. Talk to your baby as you go about your day, and tell him that he’s beautiful, that he has ten toes, that it’s time for lunch, or you’re going for a walk. The sound of your voice, even before they understand the words, helps them feel loved. So does singing or humming, which can also help your baby drift off to sleep, so don’t be afraid to serenade!

All of these things add up to being responsive to our babies. When we touch and feed them when they are hungry, hold and rock them when they need to sleep, and respond to their smiles with our own, they learn that the world is a safe place and that they are valued, important, and loved. What a nice way to think about Valentine’s Day!

The post Valentine’s Love first appeared on ItsaBelly Doulas.

I’d like to say “It’s simple really.” Do the dishes, do the laundry, buy coffee. Could it really be that easy? Maybe I should say that one again because it can get you major points and a “I LOVE you” from your spouse. Buy COFFEE! Buy chocolate. Do I need to repeat that one? I don’t think so.

Offer to get up with the baby in the night. Run a bath for your wife. Let your husband go have a beer with a buddy. Tell her what a good mother she is. Tell him you love seeing your baby in his arms. Enjoy the little moments. Like when your baby laughs, when they look cute bundled up in a towel after their bath. Talk about it ALL. Because you’re in this together. You made this person together and the silly little moments are YOURS. No one else will care as much as your spouse about how they picked up a toy, held it to their ear and said dada like they we’re talking on the phone. No one will care as much as your spouse how the baby smiled while you sang a song from your childhood. Your spouse will. They will LOVE these moments the same as you love them. And together you will feel the connection of this family you created. And you will want MORE. You will want it all. Because you made it together.

Sometimes it isn’t that easy though … and over 90% of couples say they have stress in their marriage after their baby is born. What do you do if your most important daily task doesn’t align with your partner’s? How can you support each other and come to an understanding? Recently our team met with Barbara Buckner Suárez from Birth Happens. She is bringing a class, a movement really, to the Portland area called Becoming Us. This class breaks down THRIVING during this new time in your life into eight doable conversations. I would highly recommend searching her out before your baby arrives, before the sleep deprivation, before “birth happens.” LOL It’s your plan of action for thriving.

Understanding this new person living in your home can also bring calm to the days. What is a newborn’s rhythm? How do you prepare for caring for them? Mary from ItsaBelly is now offering “ItsaBaby” in the Milagros Boutique Family Room. She will talk about newborn behavior, sleep, comforting babies, breastfeeding and bottle feeding, finding resources and support, and anything else you want to ask! There will be lots of time for questions, so bring any concerns that you may have.

The biggest thing couples need to know is that you are not alone! There are resources out there and if you are overwhelmed it isn’t a sign that you are doing something “wrong.” REACH out to us and let our team help you find what works for your family. I look forward to hearing from you!
