Week 1 - June 17th

This year's summer reading program is starting off with a...SPLASH!

We will be meeting for the first time on June 17th at 2:30. I will be handing out reading logs and bags and telling you guys all about this summer's program! We will be playing a game called sleeping sea serpents.

This weeks books will be Ten Little Fish by Audrey Wood and The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister

We will be making Aquarium Sticker Pictures for todays craft!

Prizes will be awarded each week!

Week 2 - June 24th

This week we'll be having a gator-ific time! Can you guess our theme?

We'll be making turtle collages for our craft and playing a game of alligator tag.

This week's book is Snip Snap! What's That? by Mara Bergman

An Ocean of Fun!

This week we will be reading Mister Seahorse by Eric Carle

We will make really cool shark hats and have a beachball relay.

We will also be having a puppet show of the story The 3 little Fishies and the Big Bad Shark. To see a video of last year's puppet show click on the shark below.

E&M's Reptile Family will be here!

You do not want to miss this. Cancel your plans, and RUN to the Ivanhoe library. For the first time...ever, E&M's will be at the Ivanhoe Library! They will be bringing some of their reptile friends for us to see, touch, and learn about.

CRIKEY! Lets talk about Crocs!

This week is all about crocodiles. Our book will be Mrs. Chicken and the Hungry Crocodile by Won-Ldy Paye

We are going to play a memory game called I'm Going To The Swamp. And we are making Crocodile Magnets. It's gonna be lots of fun. Make sure you stop by!

Reading Program Finale

Today is all about getting WET!! Come on out, wear something you can get SOAKED in, don't forget a towel, something you can get SOAKED in and get ready to make a splash! We will be playing with water balloons, water guns, and splash balls!
