The Littles were up at an unimaginable 3:20am on Christmas morning. To say they were excited was an understatement! :-) The Handsome Husband and I coaxed forty more minutes out of them before the excitement was bursting at the seams.

Santa enjoyed his cookies and lemonade and the reindeer gobbled down the carrots and magical oats. Christmas morning arrived and we were met with a tree full of beautifully wrapped gifts.

We hope you and yours had a wonderful Christmas, too!

The countdown is on, and Santa made his first appearance today. The Littles happily sat in his lap and told him what they wanted. Izzy asked for a Pug puppy, Emmy asked for Beados, and Alexander asked for a remote control firetruck.

The Littles enjoyed some time raking the yard today, and piling the leaves as high as they could! Needless to say, the leaves never made it into lawn bags. Ha!

A new school year has begun! The girls had a wonderfully exciting Summer, but both were very happy to be back in school again. Can you believe we have a First Grader AND a Third Grader?!? And, Alexander starts Preschool in just a few days!!

A Vacation Out West | 2014

This year, we vacationed out West. From the plains of the midwest, to the mountains and the desert.

A stop in Kansas to see some family and play at the Science Center.

We LOVE Albuquerque, New Mexico and decided to spend some time there this trip. Hubby and I have always loved traveling through. We took The Littles and ran around through the Bio Park.

We made it into Scottsdale, Arizona and stopped at our favorite park; McCormick Railroad Park.

Our favorite little stop in Flagstaff, Arizona. It's high atop the peaks of the mountains, with shopping. Several reservations set up booths here and we always stop and shop. The girls walked away with handmade jewelry and Alexander's eye caught a dream catcher.

Another "must stop and see each trip" is the Petrified Forest National Park and Painted Desert. It's such a beautiful place!

A little stop deep in the mountains of Colorado. Stunning views in every direction.

Garden of the Gods was amazing and one of the prettiest places we have ever seen! A must see if you are ever in the area.

Lots and lots and LOTS of swimming.

It's been nearly 15 months since I logged in to update our family blog. Fifteen months of The Littles making memories galore and I've not blogged.a.single.one. Facebook tends to take over the updates these days, but I'm trying to make my way back here.

Sea Life Aquarium

A little break in school gave us a chance to visit the Sea Life Aquarium. The Littles loved it! They were able to see so many creatures of the sea as well as touch too!

Izabel's 8th birthday consisted of dozens of classmates and friends, and a Ninjago/Lego theme. We played Sense Says and Pin The Mask On The Ninja. A home made cookie cake and dessert Sushi topped off the delights!

The Cinderella Ballet

Every girls dream, a trip to see the Cinderella Ballet. In the city. ;-)

We had a lovely time out tonight, in the city, for the ballet. Just us and our girls. The ballet was a first for the girls. They were so excited and dressed for the adventure. It lasted about 90 minutes long, which was just about long enough for them, and it was great! Performed by young adults and children, the music was wonderful and the dancing graceful.
