Making A Comeback

What better way to apologize then to post photos of myself being vain? Yes guys, sense the sarcasm.

My holidays are sadly coming to an end, with me having to leave this amazing place I call home, back to reality = school. My time here has been unbelievable, many unforgettable memories and many I wish I could remember (i.e. oh shit what the fuck happened last night?!). Cruising around KK with nothing to do, but still managing to have a good time? Only with the bestest friends. Road trips to Nexus, Tuaran and Kokol Hill.. Quick boat rides to the islands for a tan sesh, a trip to the beach to enjoy the RM10 extra large juices. Not to mention my trips to ShenZhen, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur. I really would elaborate more but it can't be summed up in a simple paragraph or two. So I'll leave with this for now.. a simple update to make sure I'm still alive.

It's quite depressing how dependent I am on the internet, but after being abroad for a week, it's not my phone that entices me but the internet on it. I could go days without sending a text or making a phone call, but for no internet? Withdrawals.

I suppose I should also explain my sudden MIA. See, I am currently in Hong Kong. 3 days ago, I was in ShenZhen, and three days before that I was in KL for a night. Although I do have my laptop with me, I haven't had the chance to update because I haveh ad no internet connection! For those following me on twitter may beg to differ, but I've been using my mum's phone - which is on roaming so it's quite expensive if I do post more.

Hopefully I'll get day 14's on tomorrow as I'm now staying at a family friend's place. Ciao.

But you don't understand my love for heels. They immediately boost my confidence to a 100 percent whenever I have them on.

I would have an art collection, but my art would be heels. Just on a display stand.. in a glass case.. with lights shining on to it.

Sorry for the late post, was busy the whole day yesterday despite having exams finished. YAAAY officially over with year 11 and officially been a year.
Anyways, baked a lot yesterday, Nutella Cookies and Rainbow Cupcakes.

It was a toss between this and my phone. But honestly I don't even do much with my phone, I hardly even use it when I'm at home. It's only essential when I'm out.

So yes, I got this baby in August, and I still am in love with it. I've always wanted to get one but I only managed to this year so yes definitely happy.

I don't know what else to say but well.. I'm sure you guys understand :)

Beyoncé Giselle Knowles

She is such an inspiration.

I love how she is so humble in real life, but on stage she's just like 'bam!'. What a weak explanation but for those who are a fan of her, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

Always left feeling amazed after watching a performance from her (um unfortunately never live).

Her sense of creativity is amazing.

Besides her fantastical talents, she is also a role model.

She shows that you can be curvy and sexy at the same time. I mean gurl have you seen her curves but yet she rocks and proudly shows them off anyways.

Celeste's Farewell

It definitely is a top ranked night. So much fun just partying with my gurls in an almost empty Whiteroom. Had the place all to ourselves and I can't even explain how much fun it was! Sleeping for 3 hours then sent Celeste off. Craziest night. Amazing AMAZING.

Favourite weekend goes to this.
Two nights out in a row. The first picture was my first night clubbing in Melbourne, we went to Baroq house and it was crazy and sooo much fun. Met new people, danced and boogied down on the dance floor. It was a blast.

The second picture was for a birthday themed 'CLASSY VS TRASHY' so obviously you know what we went as... As usual by the end of the night Tish and I drunk bonded.. like every other time and walked to Maccas where everyone just chowed down on their food as if it's the best thing ever. Classy eh?

Nexus Trip July 2011

One of the best, most insane, most memorable and hahaha horrifyingly interesting nights. SO much went on and happened that night that.. yeah. I can't even bring myself to explain that night hahah that crazy.

I was pretty reluctant to go out that day cause I was actually in a very 'meh' mood, didn't feel like socializing or partying. Tish somehow managed to convince me to go so I obligingly went along. Turned out to be one of those nights where.. everything was just interesting. Thaaat's all I can say. Of course more drunken bonding sesh. LOOOL.

No competition, How I Met Your Mother is my favourite TV show. Although Modern Family might be up in the top of favourites, but no other can compare to their lame jokes and one liners that can be used.. well everyday.

I am always relating back to a HIMYM episode, quoting them or using it to describe a situation. I look forward to it EVERY week and when it's not on, I'll re-watch previous episodes because it never gets old.

Meet Sara Lee Sze Kei.

I've been friends with her since I was 3.

We met in pre-school, and one day on a birthday party (I think), we introduced our parents together (as much as a 3 year old can introduce!).
Surprise, surprise - we found out we were related! I'm cousins with her mum, because my grandpa and her great grandma are siblings or something like that.

But since that day.. We've been friends since. We went to the same primary school, danced in the same dances, learnt how to wakeboard together and til today we are still close!

Went up to the clock tower during legal studies class today. Nope, I know, no relevance at all! But we just finished a movie and had half an hour to spare.. so up we went!

You can tell what mood I am in/been in by the state of my room. Clean & tidy = content, happy. Messy = f-this shit I can't be bothered doing anything mood. Welcome to my life where my mood dictates everything.
And when I say my mood dictates everything, I mean it. I make decisions based on my mood. On my outfit, song choice, movie choice, book choice, food choice. Whatever you name.. my usual answer for anything is 'well it depends on my mood'.
I really don't like ageism and sexism. Don't even know why it exists. I think everyone should be equal. Things that usually annoy me about it? 'Oh I'm a girl I like shopping, your a boy that means you won't understand and you are not emotional'. Or even stuff like "s[he] be[lie]ves". Don't even get me started with the age issue! 'Oh, no you are only 16 you won't understand'. Everyone deserves a chance to be understood. Despite their gender and/or age.
Ironically.. I love stereotypes, and racism. Okay well no not racism, exactly. But more like making or laughing at racist jokes. Does laughing at racist jokes make you racist? Geh I don't think so.. As long as you know the line between being mean, and just being funny. I always make asian jokes.. and stereotypes. 'Um yeah I'm Asian, of course I love Math, what are you talking about?' (That actually was not in a sarcastic tone).
Speaking of ironies.. I love sarcasm, ironies and awkward moments. I live for those. I'm starting to sound really cynical hey? But seriously, in terms of my humour, this is my kind of humour. And of course we need the lame jokes. And the stupid ones. I have a really.. really lame sense of humour. I don't enjoy vulgar humour. I also love sexual innuendos. The immature side of me I guess you could say :)
I am super pro-American. No idea why.. I just realised it actually. Although I used to love the English accent and the European accents, I am somehow now gravitated towards the American people. I realised that I actually never watch other shows besides American shows. Even though I'm in Australia now.. Hah awkies when everyone is talking about aussie shows here and I have no clue. But yeah america? :D
I love my awkward guys. Can't stand conceited, cocky and egoistical people. I love all my awkward people. <3
I love photography, fashion and make up. Anything statement. I love dressing up. I love themed parties just so I could dress up. If I could dress up every day I would. Honestly I think I secretly want to be a fashion photographer. To be around everything I love? To do things that I enjoy? Photography - fashion - make up - and of course, photoshop!
I am horrible with keeping in touch. I am horrible at replying messages, textes, facebook wall posts. It's a bad habit I'm trying to break but to no avail..
I am a sucker for romance. Closet romantic? I think so too. I mean.. Not a big fan of mushy talk.. Kinda creeps me out but I love the idea of romance. To be swept off your feet kinda romance. I'm talking the big works. Where the other person plans everything and your there for a ride. Flowers, chocolates, teddy bears. I loveeeee love :)

Excessive Vanity

Stressed to the max with exams coming up and me being injured everywhere here and there.

Holidays are coming soon that means time to lose weight again so I can gain them back!!

It's a good plan isn't it? But whether the plan works, that is the question. Starve myself for 3 weeks then binge eat like crazy for the rest of the holiday. I'm guessing I'm going to gain more weight than I actually would lose.

Events always interfere with my want to exercise. I've been having so much pain lately. Stomach pains, migraines, throbbing of the ankle, tingly palms, and just recently today after I decided to brave all the little pains to go to the gym, I somehow hurt my shoulder and now can barely move it. Super cool.

But whatever, I think I'm just going to strap my shoulders and my ankles like crazy tomorrow and go for a bit of a run, if not then a cycle as I really do feel like the fat lazy slob that I think I am...

It's Always Hard To Say Goodbye

So in my previous post, I mentioned a little something about Boarders Farewell.

Well, boarders farewell is basically a farewell dinner and party for the year 12s who are moving on from high school.

A lot of people in the boarding house helped out with the decorations, farewell gifts and yes, everything. I really am appreciative of all the help that I've gotten, especially from the lovely, most amazing Summer in helping plan all sorts while I was away from the boarding house on weekends.

I won't speak much of it, as there's not much I can actually say, so I'll let the pictures do the talking. Enjoy!

Getting A Little Colourful

So for the last two Wednesdays - yes, including today - we had to set up a 'small business shop' during lunch hour. We started planning for this shop since last term, drawing up the details, drafting posters and marketing schemes and thinking up a storm of ideas for the business. We called our shop, 'combs&cakes'. Can you guess what we sold? Yeah, pretty straightforward.

I honestly do not remember how we chose to sell combs, nor how we thought cupcakes and combs could relate together on a platform. But it worked anyways. We decided to theme them together. So our main item selling was the cookie monster, and we made cookie monster hair combs to go along with them. However, because of the sales - or lack thereof - we did not make any for the 2nd Wednesday. Deciding on focusing more on the cookie monster cupcakes, which we increased in another dozen of.

Overall, it was a great success. We, surprisingly, made a profit, which we then proceeded to hand over to our business teacher to donate to Save The Turtles! It was really fun as well, making the cupcakes and getting a little creative, which - speaking of..

Spent the whole of last week just being a creative little being (I wish.. I just did the labour work!) and making decorations, presents and what else. Back to back days where I did not do anything but that. It was a success though, especially Boarder's Farewell.. but more on that later. ;)

The one and only, Mister Mode.

So at the beginning of last month, September 3rd to be exact, Mister Mode: Fashion Night Market relaunched himself at a warehouse in South Yarra. There were DJs, a dance floor, a booze bus, and the best part of the night was the fashion market! Mister Mode held the event affiliated with Tripomatica, who is a platform for any music enthusiast.

My sister, and the co-founder and current manager of Mister Mode, Tish had bent backwards planning this event and to see it happen in real life, all I can say is that I was so proud. I still am! So the night kicked off at 7pm, with people making their way in. Some looking around and purchasing items at the market, some going to the booze bus and making an order for a drink through the windows and others just casually chilling on the couches that were put out around the dance floor. The music was pumping and the vibe was up.

Throughout the night, I alternated between managing the MisterMode stall and buying drinks and getting down on the dance floor. Everyone around me was having a good time, from the looks of them.

and now.. Mister Mode is coming back! Bigger and better! When? Where? How? Just watch the video. You won't regret it.

Reminiscing

Haven't had much to update. Just been reminiscing and actually visiting my past, if that even makes any sense. So caught up with school and school that my social life is practically non-existent. Except for last Saturday though, had a full day with my sissy so that was a whirlwind of fun. Celebrated Laura's birthday at "The Order of Melbourne" which is a bar, had my first Bacardi 151, that was sure as hell exciting (um no not really) and we had a bartender make special shots which we found out was absinthe, tabasco and lime. Yeugh. Not very nice at all but it was overall a good night.

Been up till 12 the past two nights just finishing up my homework and assignments and event planning and everything and I barely procrastinate! What an achievement. A pat on the back, perhaps?

Gotta catch up on some snooze time now. I have a feeling I'll be losing quite a bit for the next few days...
