As unbelievable as it may seem, not everyone will rejoice if John Laurinaitis loses to John Cena at WWE Over the Limit. In fact, it's not a stretch to think a few Superstars – and one power-hungry Diva – could join the Raw and SmackDown General Manager on the employment line.

In his tumultuous tenure as Raw and SmackDown GM, Laurinaitis has no doubt amassed a list of detractors, but there is a fair share of people who have supported his reign, either to stay in his good graces or to be an integral part of his administration. On the flip side, there are individuals who may reap big dividends of Laurinaitis' potential termination.

WWE.com presents a list of eight people who should definitely keep their eyes peeled on Laurinaitis' match against Cena at WWE Over the Limit, because the GM's fate also might determine their future in WWE.

John Cena

It's no longer business between Laurinaitis and John Cena – it's deeply personal. The Raw and SmackDown GM has been hell-bent on breaking The Cenation Leader's spirit and possibly pushing him out of WWE for good. From attacking Cena to putting himself in a match against him at WWE Over the Limit, Laurinaitis has shockingly emerged as Cena's worst enemy in WWE.

The weight of the WWE Universe is on Cena's shoulders heading into a one-on-one clash against Laurinaitis. If Cena wins, he'll be heralded as the man who purged a ruthless General Manager and restored order to WWE. He'll also have a lot easier time sleeping Sunday nights, knowing Laurinaitis won't be there to terrorize him every week on Raw.

WWE Board revealed Laurinaitis will be terminated if he loses to Cena at WWE Over the Limit

When John Laurinaitis called John Cena and his WWE Universe supporters losers, Cena emerged to give the GM an earful. As he analyzed Laurinaitis’ achievements in his backstabbing rise to GM, Cena concluded the GM is nothing but a loser himself.

After riling the WWE Universe up about the potential beating coming to the GM at Over the Limit, the GM’s Executive Administrator Eve came to the ring with a letter in her hand.

But before the GM could read the letter, Cena ripped it from his hands to reveal some shocking stipulations directly from the WWE Board of Directors:

“Your match with Mr. Cena will be one-on-one. There will be no special guest referee. No one is allowed at ringside. The only way to win is by pinfall or submission. Any Superstar who interferes in the match will be immediately terminated … Should you, Mr. Laurinaitis, lose this match to John Cena, then you will be officially terminated.”

With the stunning news, the WWE Universe exploded in approval. Then, when Cena questioned what major announcement the GM was reported to be making that would change the future of WWE, the GM slapped Cena and walked out of the ring and up the ramp.

10 Instances of WWE Superstars Going Over the Limit

With WWE Over the Limit 2012 closing in, WWE.com thought it only appropriate to examine standout memories of Superstars and matches that went “over the limit.”

In some instances, the matches discussed here exceeded very tangible constraints – for example, a time limit. Figurative limits of decency and good taste were overstepped in other cases. In all examples, the WWE Universe watched on as the Superstars did what they do best: shatter boundaries.

Nexus Attacks

Long before Daniel Bryan’s “Yes!” reverberated through arenas or Wade Barrett set out on his “barrage,” the Superstars previously known best as NXT Season 1 rookies established themselves as the original Nexus by viciously assaulting John Cena during his match against CM Punk on the June 7, 2010, edition of Raw.

The incident was one of those rare examples when the Raw broadcast appeared to come completely off its hinges. The fact that eight relative unknowns (including current Superstars Justin Gabriel and Darren Young, to name a few) would team up to go after WWE’s alpha dog was surprising enough. Even more startling was that their ambush didn’t end with Cena.

Then under the guidance of Barrett, The Nexus members took out their anger on everyone who was within swinging distance. They assaulted commentators Jerry “The King” Lawler and Matt Striker, as well as tore up the ring, trashed the broadcast tables and broke the protective barriers around ringside.

By the time Nexus ultimately disbanded in 2011, the group had inflicted its wrath on countless occasions. Still, no other incident quite compares to their jumping Cena on Raw.

John Cena beat Dolph Ziggler. Cena looked great on offense and with his over-the-top selling for Ziggler. Each man went out of his way to make this match special. A few "Let's Go Cena / Cena Sucks" chants were quickly drowned out by straight "Cena" chants. Lots of highspots including multiple Attitude Adjustments thwarted by Ryan, and one by virtue of an amazing Ziggler counter. Cena won after about 20 minutes of action with a successful AA. A great match. Ziggler has it all, and Cena is a true wrestler. He seemed like the normal John, and did so much extra in this one, despite his real-world divorce. He spent some time after the match with the fans at ringside. Top-notch entertainers.

John Cena:

If Raw was a Mustang, John Cena would be the horsepower-packed engine that never breaks down. Cena has been through some of the most hellish battles in the history of Raw, including countless main events, but he always bounces right back to inject the same kind of high intensity into Monday nights. In recent years, the 10-time WWE Champion has survived a barrage of attempts to extinguish his fire, such as vicious attacks by Brock Lesnar and General Manager John Laurinaitis. That's serious perseverance from a man who is always ready and willing to take on the most fearsome opponents Raw has to offer.

Cena's tenure with the Raw brand is about to stretch to a remarkable seven years, dating all the way to June 6, 2005, when he became the first performer selected by then-GM Eric Bischoff in the WWEDraft. There was a fleeting moment when it seemed he would have to switch to SmackDown during the WWE Draft on April 25, 2011, but he was later redrafted to Raw on the same night. The Cenation leader hasn't looked back since and continues to bring his "A" game to Raw every single week.

John Cena defeated Dolph Ziggler (w/ Mason Ryan) It was a pretty decent match between the two. It was solid even with Mason Ryan interfering a total of three times. There was a lot of Cena chants, the crowd was behind Cena the entire match.

John Cena Part of “Fred 3: Camp Fred”

John Cena will join Tom Arnold, Daniella Monet, Jake Weary and Carlos Knight in the cast of “Fred 3: Camp Fred.”

Lucas Cruikshank is ready to bring his Fred Figglehorn character back to the screen with "Fred 3: Camp Fred."
Joining the cast are Tom Arnold, John Cena, Daniella Monet, Jake Weary and Carlos Knight.

Brian Robbins will produce through his Varsity Pictures banner along with Michael Green, Gary Binkow and Evan Weiss.

The Figglehorn character was spawned from Cruikshank's YouTube series, which turned into a channel that now has more than 2 million subscribers on the site. The popularity of the character has led to two other films and an animated series on the Fred channel called "It's Fred."

Cruikshank is repped by UTA and the Collective.

Appearing live via satellite on Raw, John Cena updated the WWE Universe about his arm injury. Although a group of doctors strongly recommended he not compete for the next couple of months, Cena was adamant about ignoring their advice and fully plans to face John Laurinaitis at WWE Over the Limit.

As each week goes by, it seems more and more members of the WWE Universe have had enough of Raw and SmackDown General Manager John Laurinaitis. Could Cena win back the love of some of his past supporters at Over the Limit if he can beat the GM?

Season 1, Episode 105 John Cena's InCENArator

Normally, a call from the WWE would make anyone nervous. When it's giving you a heads-up that WWE superstar John Cena is about to FaceTime you? Welcome to the 21st Century at Parker Brothers Concepts.

There's a present from John Cena outside. It's a Corvette, a classic piece of Americana. He doesn't want them to tint the windows or put a new set of rims on. He wants them to grab the heaviest thing they can and destroy it. The car he wants the guys to build for him needs the engineering of a Corvette, but the body by the Parker Brothers. It breaks their hearts, but they take an enormous wrench to the thing. John Cena gives them a couple of days to strip it down, then he's coming down to see what they want to do with the machine.

When he arrives, Marc and the guys are finishing a methodical stripping of the car. Cena blows a gasket. It's not fast enough. Marc puts his game face on and listens to the client vent, while Donnie's wondering how fast he can get to the nearest exit. When Cena breaks a smile and says he's just messing with them, Marc finally gets to breathe again.

The design meeting goes well, with John Cena really enjoying the main two designs Shanon's come up with. Is there anything he wants them to make sure is incorporated into the finished car? Yes, three words: hustle, loyalty, and respect. They can do this. But what about the doors? Shanon's concept of a clamshell that allows him to walk over the front of the vehicle in an exhibit of WWE-level showmanship is one that John Cena truly likes.

After a few nerve-wracking donuts in a Corvette that is stripped to its engine and wheels, the Incenarator is commissioned.

Family is integral to Parker Brothers Concepts, and Ron's niece and son are both huge John Cena fans. The guys convince Cena to stick around long enough for Ron to bring them into the shop. This makes the kids' days. Valerie nearly has a heart attack when Cena walks into Shanon's office. It's the family environment that appeals to the WWE superstar, and he respects the family-run feeling that the brothers have created.

It's time to start laying out the Incenarator. They break out the cold-rolled steel rods and start sculpting the design around the Corvette frame. This lets Shanon make sure his design will actually allow room in the car. Brothers will be brothers, and when Shanon thinks a 28-inch wheel will work in the cold-rolled frame, he will not listen to Marc's voice of reality. Marc has had it, and throws up his hands and walks out to his office.

Shanon heads over to Paragon Plastics to help out with the canopy. It's shaping up exactly as he had hoped.

What good is a badass intro without some pyro, right? Time to bring in Andy from Orlando Special Effects to see what they can do. Shanon's idea is to use the exhaust from the engine and have it become a flamethrower. It needs to be safe, but it needs to also be entertaining. They rig the beast up, but it's time to get over to Composite Technologies to check on the body panels.

Composite Technologies is good, but they need a wheel size to work with. Shanon initially says he wants 28-inchers, but finally comes around and admits Marc's right. They'll go with 24-inch wheels.

Unfortunately, the wheels also hold a major, major problem. The wheel opening in the body doesn't sit properly over the front wheels. There's a difference of around four inches that needs to be dealt with. The Composite Tech guys come up with a solution, but it's going to require the guts of the car coming back again to make sure it's mated up properly. It's not easy, but they pull it off.

Marc and the guys fill the dash with foam, and Marc begins sculpting out the interior. Finally, they get it to a point where they can finish the interior at Composite while the guys work on installing the canopy. Vehicular multitasking at its most exhausting. After adding a hot two-tone paint job, the HLR goes onto the back. Hustle. Loyalty. Respect. Subtle, but it's right there in a production-vehicle appearance. After a successful test drive, it's off to meet its new owner.

John Cena is blown away. "Parker Brothers for life."
