Movie review - Summer Days with Coo

A small, lone Kappa miraculously survives over 200 years into modern day Tokyo, Japan when he is found by young Koichi. "Coo" who is secretly adopted by the whole family, faces a tragic past and the present's challenge of living in a dramatically changed environment, searches with his new human friend for places not invaded by people hoping to find any remaining of his kind. When this intelligent "water sprite" draws the popular attention of the whole city upon being discovered and then confronted with his past, it forces him to take action and make an ultimate decision, in order to preserve his kind, inner peace and well being in today's harsh world.

Messages that I have received from the movie is about the awareness of taking care of our natural environment as well as the importance of the relationship.

Poor little Coo, I feel so sad when I know about his story.

He is an orphanage...

When you watch the movie, don't treat it as a monster but as a human.

Then you will feel the sadness behind it.

Actually there are a lot of people go through this kind of trauma especially someone you love had passed away. If your loved one had passed away, when you think about him/her face,
you will still feel sad and feel wanna cry right.

It is what I feel when I saw poor little Coo hold his father corpse (hand) and then crying.

For those orphanages that I met before,

I feel that our society tend to label them and 'see' them in a certain way,
which is not really good for their lifespan development.

Every mankind should be treat fairly, no one deserve to be insult or bully.

Our world is really harsh!

But you and me can change it, do you know that?

For example, when you start to smile and be kind to the people around you, you may notice the change.

Yea, I agree that someone won't appreciate your kindness, so just ignore them!

There are still got people will love you right^^

But another question is, Do Kappa really exist?

Well,

we don't have all the answers that we seek for in our life.

But it doesn't mean we have to accept our faith.

I have just done a photo shoot today.

Met some model friends, really glad to meet with them again^^

This was quite a surprise to meet with them =)

Oh ya, I can't reveal all those behind the scene photos yet due to P&C.

I'm aware that I really have to sleep more early!

Or else I will become "panda za bo" soon. LoL

Honestly, the best daily skin care routine is to sleep early (about 10pm)!

Beside skincare products, actually the "Beauty sleep treatment" which means sleep from 10pm until 2am is the best skin care solution.

However, it ain't so easy for some of us...AGREE?

I hope that recent product reviews have provided more information for you to choose the right product.

I feel sorry because I know that some of you can't read chinese, I will do my best to blog more reviews in English too.

上个月从SHOPSHOP拿到了的这瓶森玫瑰保湿霜现在终于被我用光，一滴也不剩了><

现在终于可以写写使用心得和大家分享下了 !

PS: “瓶子内的效果真的远胜过外表”- 牛爾老师这番话很给力！

整个产品的设计都还满简单的（第一眼看到它的时候还真的不怎么吸引我 ><" )

但还是有巧思的！

包装盒本身能够废物利用, 非常环保^^

嗒嗒⋯⋯ 看！盒子变成了轻巧的收纳盒^^

非常实用吧!

当然，最重要的是产品本身的效果！

开瓶后扑鼻而来的是淡淡的玫瑰花香^^

正如其名，它的质感是非常轻盈、非常水润却不油腻，

但放在手上时它是不会流动的。

对我来说，它是很好推的乳霜^^

涂在脸上的感觉就像洗脸时把水泼在脸上的感觉一样，

然后水分就一直Hold在脸上那样。

我能感觉水分‘咻’那样，差不多5分钟左右就被脸部给吸收进去了！

但记得一定要涂抹均匀并按摩至吸收为止哦 :)

涂抹后感觉滋润度很高！

用了后一整天都感觉不到脸部有出油或者干燥的状况。

我个人认为这保湿霜很适合在化妆前使用。

由于化妆前的保湿步骤非常重要，所以我一向来都很注重这个环节。

如果保湿做得好，妆容会看起来更服帖且更持久哦^^

早晚都使用它，让肌肤‘喝水’！

用的时候也不要太省，毕竟足够的份量是很重要的。

保养品就是要用到有效果才值得，不是吗^^

最近在拍摄杂志内页的时候，化妆师还夸我最近的肌肤越来越容易上妆了呢！

所以现在的我在上妆前都一定少不了它！

我相信保湿效果好的产品，能让我的妆容Hold得更持久更亮丽！

FABULA类真皮面膜

今天我所介绍的面膜蛮特别的，

我相信如果你用了并体验到它的效果，你应该会爱上它哦！

之前我曾经用过不少各式各样的面膜：蛋白DIY式的、水果DIY式的、面膜粉类状的、碳布质感的、普通质感的⋯⋯

可是类真皮的面膜，我倒是从来没有尝试过，也不晓得有此产品的存在。

我只是用过其它品牌的类真皮眼膜。曾经有想过，如果能拥有像类真皮眼膜质感的面膜，那该多好啊！

但随着它的到来，我对面膜有了新的认识。

A big "Thanks!" to my dear. Because he treats me a "big" meal today.

Actually he'd noticed that I've been craving for Korean food for quite a long time. Therefore, he purposely wanna give me the surprise.

But my dear transfers it to become like that:

One of the reasons that I like CNY is most of us will say sweet things. I think it is good if we keep this positive behavior as habit. We should not practice it only during CNY!

Maybe...people do it for red packets??? Lol... I'm just kidding > <

Love my fingernails so much! I did it myself with the color gradient yet glitter design purposely for CNY. And I think it's also suitable for other occasion such as party or dinner.

Oops! I never introduce to you guys >< Actually there is the Legong hot springs just nearby my hometown. I realized that they have increased the price of the entrance ticket and parking fees.

Perhaps it's because of the greater number of people that go and visit?

My beloved brother, he was the driver of the day.

My little nephew. Apparently it was his 1st time ever came to hot springs. Of coz he didn't swim in that hot pool but he had fun with a lot of new things to explore and learn. =)

My philosophy of life:

Step by step to accomplish your goals.

Believe in yourself!

After you reach your goals, keep up the good work!

Then move a goal from one to another.

Most important...your goals should be very REALISTIC.

but don't limit yourself in your dreams.

Ya, It is complicated!

Life ain't easy.

I work because I love my work.

I consider myself quite lucky.

I got friends, family, and you who will care for me^^

Chinese New Year is coming soon, it is like a brand new beginning to me.

Actually every day is a new beginning:)

You guys mean a lot to me.

I hope my life story will motivate you to accomplish your goals!

However, I didn't mean that you all should set a goal to become a model! LoL

But you still can be role model for others!

Actually I have received a lot of mails that ask me how am I manage to become a model.

So here is my story:)

2 years ago,

I'm definitely shy and innocent kampung girl.

But I never feel shame or inferiority because of that.

In fact, I am proud to have a great family.

Although we are not rich in terms of material things.

But we are rich in spirit^^

I have a happy childhood life experience!

We always have so much fun at kampung in Kedah:)

Volleyball and swimming are my favorite sports!

River was my swimming pool!LoL

I had a major surgery after Malaysian National service.

A few days before that I can say goodbye to NS,

We had a training session and it ended up breaking my elbow due to the training facility problem.

I can clearly see my bone and flesh ><

Terrible pain!

Then I stayed at the hospital for long periods of time.

Luckily I am fine right now^^

Yes, I wish to be a model when I was young

but I never thought I would actually become model one day.

So before NS, I plan to go for air stewardess interview because I want to explore the world.

Our World is so beautiful, I can't wait to explore it!

But after my accident during NS, I have to give up to become an air stewardess.

I went to work at Penang for about 1 years after fully recover.

And then decide to further study either nurse or psychology.

I choose to study at UTAR because it is affordable and its good reputation.

Study life is awesome!

I met a lot of great friends and good lecturers!

I am glad that I have chosen psychology in the end^^

It really help me to become more positive and improve my interpersonal skill.

Sooner I met someone who keep encourage me to pursue my dream.

That's why I am who I am now.

Some friends can't understand me but some of them keep support me!

I feel really grateful to all of them!

Ya, life is a learning and growing process:)

My first ever proper photo shoot during UTAR model search 2010!

I look so weird!LoL

That time I don't even know how to makeup!

Always end up looking like a panda, LoL

I met my BFF Ting Lim during that time too^^

It is a tough task for me indeed!

I feel stressful and tired.

Nobody knows I was crying when alone.

After won the champion title, I have earned some reputation in UTAR.

Then I participated in Project O&O intervarsity search,

luckily I won the champion title too.

At the same time, I lost my long hair and the time to spend with my peers.

But I won a chance to shoot for magazine! I was so exciting!

Finally I can get professional makeup and experience the feeling as a model who featured on magazine!

I wish one day I could be the magazine cover girl! LoL

Then what is next?

Actually after this, I just want to rest and study!

Back to my normal student life:)

My study has been influenced badly><

But this is what I need to pay for.

My dream can't really realize that easily!

I focus more on blogging because I found that there are quite a lot readers start to support me after these two competitions.

And soon, a boutique in Singapore offers me job, she found me via my blog:)

I feel amazing! Never think that I can get modeling job in this way!

I even introduce my BFF Ting Lim to her.

Because I know that my BFF love modeling too^^

That's really great experience for me!

The make up and bridal show introduced by Bee is another great experience for us too:)

Soon, I decided to join the Shills girl search 2011.

Get to know more beautiful girls and models:)

Won the best body contour title and learned some modeling skills.

Decided to join Clean and Clear BFF search 2011 with my BFF Ting Lim.

We didn't win but we are very happy can be the top10.

I realize that modeling and blogging becomes part of my life already!

This is part of my unique 'campus life'! LoL

I have confirmed that modeling is my passion after so many events.

However,

I will only join the competition or event which is healthy and meaningful one.

I tell myself that although I am not that young, but I still can make my dream comes true!

Don't give up if you love it!

I told my beloved kids as well!

Although they have lost their parent, they still got the right to dream!

Either love it or fear it as my lovely life coach told me:)

Now I am my own life coach!

Create my own life by myself^^

June 2011, I found that Ray Magazine Malaysia was going to launch soon and they were searching for models for their 1st premiere issue.

I am so lucky to be chosen!

Really enjoyed to work with them!

Almost at the same time, young hearts Malaysia offers me a modeling job too.

They found me via my blog:)

Lancome & Biore Malaysia offers some modeling jobs to me too:)

They found me via my blog as well:)

I feel good when I am working for what I love to do.

If we believe,

We can attract good feeling experiences into our life^^

I have also participated in UTAR model shooting because I want to contribute something back to my campus. I have to agree that UTAR has provided good environment and chance for us to grow.

I have earned some soft skill marks from this event too ;)

My first ever fashion runway show during ifeel girl search 2011.

I am so nervous although I look cool here!hehe

I have done some photo shoot for different magazines such as ifeel, Sisters, Queen, Ray, Cittabella, Female, nüyou too.

Recently, I got the chance to be one of the cover girls.

I am so grateful got the chance to work with other professional models

and able to make my dream comes true.

Actually that time my face was swollen due to the wisdom tooth.

But nothing can stop me! LoL

Just kidding, actually that time I also don't know I was going to shoot for the cover.

I feel so touching when I look back my blog, my life story.

It reminds me so many beautiful moments in my life!

Let's us keep on dreaming!

I haven't done any TVC or Commercial Ads yet.

I wish this year I manage to do more TVC and Print Ads!

So I can earn more money to pay off my PTPTN loan!

Hopefully I can achieve my goal.

Most of the time we are too busy pursuing our dream.
We forget just to relax.

I love my holidays!
Although I don't do much shopping or traveling.
Most of the time, I just watch my favourite drama or sit down and have a cup of tea with friends.
And SLEEP FULLY without an alarm!
For me, these are precious peaceful moments:)

I found that when I don't have to work, I'm too busy for no reason.
It is strange but true.
TIME FLIES SO FAST!

Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Jelly SPF30

After having done a bit of modeling,

I found that to get great shots, I must put more effort into my skincare routine.

Actually I have spent so much of time to take care of my skin.

Sometimes I am really feeling tired about it.

But I can't stop it.

It is my responsible to keep my skin healthy.

Protecting our skin from the sun is the most important thing, even you stay indoors!

Do you know that UV rays are really powerful? :)

Whether you can see it or not, it does exist indoor and outdoor.

Honestly, I don't like UV cream with sticky or greasy feeling.

I am quite happy that I found this UV cream recently,
Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Jelly SPF30 which is non sticky.

It is water base so not sticky at all! VERY EASY to apply :)

It gives me cool and fresh feeling:) And I am so happy that it can be washed off so easily!

I even don't feel that I got apply anything^^

It can be considered as my moisturizer too.

So when I am using it, I won't use other moisturizer.

In my opinion, this UV cream should apply before makeup (Your makeup look will be more great too) .

For bare face, apply evenly at the last step.

NOT only face, your neck and hands need protection too!

*Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Jelly SPF30 is INVISIBLE once absorb to my skin^^ LIKE it*

Better apply it before 30minutes that you go out, because your skin needs time to absorb it in order to be protected.

As I know, it is better to re-apply sunscreen about every 2 hours when you're exposed under the hot sun for a long time. But it depends on the effectiveness of the product as well.

Simple and fun

Basically my life can be just as simple as you couldn't imagine. I might spend my entire day just staying in the house. For me, browse some information from Internet is fun!^^ But I'm not a geek okay ;-p

I am going to read it:)

I feel lucky that able to eat a lot of yummy foods too :)

Having my favorite colors on my fingernails brings me a good mood as well =)

I know that is not healthy if I always wear the nail color, because it will spoil our nails with the chemical ingredients =[ So I will just do it for sometime. Fyi, the brand of my nail color is Sally Hansen.

I'm not a sweet-eater. But I really can't resist this yummy chocolate lava cake.

I purposely went to the El Migos @Jusco Tebrau City Shopping Mall to eat it and then back to home.

I should have control myself more to avoid it. But maybe it's okay for taking it once in awhile right?! >.<

I have watched the mini movie video clip that featured me on 8TV show for their 8th anniversary celebration. So exciting! I thought that I missed it at the beginning. Fortunately, I've watched it. *Happy! Lol... I will upload the full version of the video clip if I manage to get it.

很荣幸能被东方日报采访。

我实在紧张，因为还没被报章正式采访过。

好在一切顺利，记者们都很亲切，让我能放松的与她们交谈。

Bugis Trip #new year is coming soon

第一次来到新加坡的Bugis Street购买新衣服。或许是接近新年的原因，那里的人潮实在是非常拥挤。让正在选购衣物的我流汗了呢！> <

平时的我是不常流汗的。

天气也是特热的!

买了些衣服，花了大约新币50元，还蛮值得的呢。

新的一年，小宠自己一下吧;)

走着走着，看到一群小孩正嬉戏得好开心。我被他们欢乐的笑声给吸引了。小孩们的天真也感染了围观的大人们。也许大家和我一样，勾起了童年回忆吧！

你还记得你的童年趣事吗？

怎么现在大部分的我们都不让自己像孩子们一样的去大声欢笑了？

然后又继续逛街，手机的饰品正是我需要买的呢！*开心*

换过来马币大约是RM24左右，超值吧？

不过不是每间价格都如此，不妨耐心寻找^^

After a day of shopping,

I decided to relax and read a good book at cafe.

Small things can make us happy most of the time...if you realize how beautiful it is:)

Recently I have bought the Biore Facial Foam (Pure Mild) because I have finished my facial cleanser already.

I really wish to find a facial foam that can produce a lot of bubbles one.

I feel that facial foam with a lot of bubbles can keep my face clean and more smooth. LoL

Actually over washing our face will lead to more acne!

Twice a day is enough.

So with good cleanser, I don't need to keep washing my face^^

After I have done some research, I heard that Biore pure mild manage to produce a lot of bubbles easily!

So I decided to buy it:)

It really satisfy my need, it makes my face feel really clear clean!

Fresh and moisturizing feel :)

Really reasonable price;)

I feel glowing! LoL

We just passed through X'mas:) how was your day?

I like Malaysia:)

There are many places that I have never been before.

Melaka, here I come again.

Actually I like the atmosphere here.

The food is great too.

Quite spicy for me...

But it was quite nice.

Must try Durian Cendol and Normal Cendol :)

Weather in Melaka was so hot when I was there.

This one is really delicious!

Must try if you like Durian too.

I have bought some 'Bai Jia Xing' chopsticks:)

Special Laksa tastes great too, but I was just too full to eat anymore.

X'mas gift @iTWorld

Tomorrow is X'mas. Merry Christmas Eve and happy holiday!

I know that some of you may get your X'mas gift already right. Same goes to me:)

At the beginning, we went to iTWorld which is located in Ipoh Parade was to find some Apple accessories as X'mas gift to pamper ourselves. I was thinking maybe can buy something for Ipad2. Yea, Ipad2 also bought at here last time :) We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and service, so here we come again.

New iPhone 4S!

I am very shy to try Siri there.

So I just give up! LoL

I don't have iPhone 4S so I just have a look at these iPhone Cases.

There are so many great choices for iPhone!

It would be so nice if I can choose one too.

Then, IPhone 4S suddenly appeared right infront of me!
It is for me!!!OMG

I just realized that my exclusive Santa Claus brought me here was to give me a surprise!

Out of sudden iPhone 4S became my X'mas gift.

I was so surprised and happy when I saw my early Xmas gift!

Thx a bunch!!!

Can't believe that I'm having iPhone 4S now.

And I'm having my personal assistant, Siri. "Hi, Siri!" Lol

Before that, I'm thinking of buying a headphone actually.

That's why I'm so so serious here:) hehe

But now I can listen to music on an iPhone already. So happy^^

It is relaxing for me to put the headphone on and listen to my favorite song!
